Lessons can be planned among teachers week wise. It has various templates and features that helps to save plenty of time that helps to plan a lesson and cover a number of aspects. It gives teachers a consolidated view of the lessons, resources and assessments which helps teachers to keep a track of their students. It can help teachers to understand who are lacking behind and help those students to learn and cope-up. Oncourse Lesson Planner helps teachers to collaborate which makes the lesson even more fun and informative. It ensures that the lesson is planned as per the educational benchmark ensuring quality. The customer service is quite helpful as they assist you when you have queries. It also has a library which helps me to share files. I can also manage my students and collect assignments. **What do you dislike about OnCourse Lesson Planner?** Like every software, even oncourse lesson planner has some downsides. Oncourse Lesson Planner has a subscription plan which can be expensive for some schools. Also, training is required to navigate the software so it can be a little tough for first timers. Oncourse Lesson Planner does require a very good internet connection. Also, it does have glitches, these things may interfere with the teaching process. **What problems is OnCourse Lesson Planner solving and how is that benefiting you?** Oncourse Lesson Planner helps me to plan my lessons which saves alot of time. I am able to find the standards that I need, and even adapt lessons that I've used in past years. **What do you dislike about OnCourse Lesson Planner?** Nothing really comes to mind right now. It is occasionally annoying to have to request administration to reopen an evaluation in order to make a quick edit on something. Sharing plans is truly the best! We are able to help keep each other on track as well as work smarter, not harder and reuse plans from year to year. Compared to paper plan books, I love that my admin can check my plans without having to physically give them my plans for a day. **What do you dislike about OnCourse Lesson Planner?** I wish when you clicked a box to write plans that it didn’t open a new window. Sometimes I accidentally click out of the pop up window and then start a new one only to realize that the other window was just hidden. **What problems is OnCourse Lesson Planner solving and how is that benefiting you?** I can plan from anywhere without needing to bring anything home from school. The district curriculum is loaded into the program. I also love the ease of checking state standards - they’re all in there! ### 11. As a teacher, I like to have my plans organized in a visually appealing fashion. OnCourse let you pick colors for fonts and organize your day into boxes. I like that it can be viewed in a daily or rotated way. **What do you dislike about OnCourse Lesson Planner?** It can be frustrating when you change the format of a column or cell and the formatting does not apply. When you click into the box to edit the font (to distinguish, for example, between subject areas) the font will change size, color, ect. But, when you save and exit out of the box the font will remain unchanged. **What problems is OnCourse Lesson Planner solving and how is that benefiting you?** OnCourse is great for lesson plan sharing. Rather than taking time to physically meet with my colleagues I can do so virtually with the sharing feature. ### 12. I am able to have a template for all things and just change standards and content weekly. Saves so much time and allows for complete consistency. **What do you dislike about OnCourse Lesson Planner?** You can not copy and paste standards into another document. They have to be typed from a visual copy, which gets tedious. Also, the software is very detailed, and it is easy to make mistakes. But, once you get used to using the software on a continual basis, use of the program becomes much more fluid. **Recommendations to others considering OnCourse Lesson Planner:** It has been a great switch for our school and made planning MUCH easier. I highly recommend this product. **What problems is OnCourse Lesson Planner solving and how is that benefiting you?** This software has allowed our school to complete lesson planning for administration checks with such ease. Teachers can fill our lesson plans from ANY computer with internet access, it does not have to be a district of network computer (which is amazing). Administrators can approve plans from anywhere as well. It has made the lesson planning process much more streamlined, and makes expectations easier to meet (as there is a clear layout). ### 14.
