**What do you like best about ON24?**

I really like the easy to use platform that is easy to understand and provides a great platform for internal staff understanding of the tools and resources while providing a sophisticated look to our clients. Webinars are easy to setup and easy to operate from the moderator, presenter, and attendee perspectives. Pulling data post-webinar is easy and provides a well-rounded view. I love that I can download the webinar recording as an Mp4 file and am able to share it with colleagues, share it to our internal Sharepoint site for all company staff, able to send it digitally to other users, and am able to upload to upload it to our Youtube channel. I love that we are able to customize our own landing page, logos, graphics, artwork, and registration page and don't have to utilize a 3rd party in order to do everything ourselves. We have a great relationship with the On24 team and get regular checkins from them about how we are doing, some of our webinar analytics, clicks, etc. and feel as though we have a strong vendor relationship while maintaining flexibility and ownership of all of our own material. We don't have to worry about waiting for someone to upload content or not being able to do something on our own. We can self-moderate our webinars so that it really feels as though it it own our software and get to interact directly with our clients. I love using the express monitoring feature to have an On24 technician on the line to assist clients with troubleshooting any technical difficulties and ensuring our staff are good to go prior to the start of the webcast so that we don't have to worry about assisting staff and clients and can really focus on the content of our webcast.

**What do you dislike about ON24?**

There are some things I wish would be easier to view in the post-webinar analytics. It would be great if I could export an overall report of all attendees with fields on which webinar they attended that can be exported to excel would be great. There are some times where I have to pull multiple reports to get all of the data that I need. I also wish I could customize the integration to Salesforce using the fields that we utilize in our CRM from On24 without duplicating contacts and data.

**Recommendations to others considering ON24:**

I really recommend reaching out to On24 staff to set up a time to look at how easy this platform is to use. It does take staff time to set up, operate, moderate, and pull post-webcast data, but it is very much worth the time and the effort as long as you have the resources to do so. There is so much that you don't have to do on your own, but there is still some work that you have to do. Make sure you have the time and the resources, but if you're deciding between vendors, On24 really is the way to go.

**What problems is ON24 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

There are a lot of benefits in using the On24 platform. I am able to pull some great data post-webinar. I like the unique attendee report so as to not duplicate contacts and can share some great attendee data with our stakeholders. I'm hopeful that I can try and resolve minor data analytics questions with On24.

ON24 has an attractive interface that is highly customizable. It offers a lot of options for branding, reporting, registration, and usability that take webinars a step beyond what other platforms provide. The presentation is really nice and user-friendly.

**What do you dislike about ON24?**

Unfortunately, more advanced reporting is not a standard option and requires a separate subscription tier. There are some learning curves when it comes to building out the platform, and it can be time-consuming.

**What problems is ON24 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Integrating slides, media player, surveys, polls, and other interactive elements in one screen in a more seamless platform has been helpful.

I love how helpful Craig is, he is always very responsive and makes sure that we feel comfortable using ON24. I love that the system is user friendly and it is also easy to integrate other platforms.

Honestly not much! It was definitely a learning curve, but I do really like O424.

They are letting us reach different people with the ease of the platform. We are able to gain more and more leads with ON24.

On24 is a really robust webinar platform. I love how easy it is to run semi-live webinars. It makes having a global webinar strategy easy. They also have a really great support. They are very responsive and solve issues quickly.

On24 is not very user friendly or intuitive but once you get the hang of it, its fine.

On24 has made it very easy for us to replay webinars so they look live for each specific timezone. That has been really helpful. I also like the console feature of their webinar platform. It makes it easy for users to ask questions and access relevant content to the webinar.

This is a very straighforward and easy to use platform. It has great flexibility when it comes to branding also, and integrates seamlessly with Salesforce. Customer service is excellent from the On24 Sales and Customer Support teams.

It is fairly expensive, and takes a fair amount of time and energy to get skilled at using the back end. It is amazing when you have the premium services and don't need to do the heavy lifting, but those are also pricey. Totally worth it if you are expecting large audiences though@

New methods of attracting leads. We hadn't used webinars before and it drove quality leads for us.

**What do you like best about ON24?**

I love how you can customize just about anything. We have really upped our webinar game since implementing on24. Getting up and running was quick and easy, and we have great support from the on24 team. We love the simu-live feature since we run a lot of webinars, it has made it easier on our team to have the ability to rinse and repeat rather than run a brand new webinar each week. Our team has had a really easy time adapting to the platform as well, it is straigtforard and easy to use.

**What do you dislike about ON24?**

I love all of the data that is collected through the platform but I wish it exported more conciesly, we have to take mulitiple reports and combine them but I believe that issue is being reseolved with a CRM integration. Other than that, I really cannot complain.

Running our webinars has become exponentially eaiser than it was when we used other platforms.

I really like how easy it is to use and to teach others to use. I have to share how it works to clients all the time and the main thing they say is how easy they find it to use.

I find the help box quite frustrating sometimes, when I am hoping to find an easy answer and the people in the chat box send me a long article to read to find my solution that is very unhelpful

Our clinets need a platform to use to profile their solution and then we market it to our large audience. It makes it much easier to use and profile than for example zoom.

The most helpful aspect of On24 is that it allows us to easily track and run our webinars in a professional manner. The abundance of features allows us to ge tthe most out of our webinar content.

**What do you dislike about ON24?**

One of the downsides of ON24 is the manual work that goes into editing the webinar if we were going to host it on demand or semi live. 

The editing console takes time to get used to but it gets the job done.

**What problems is ON24 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ON24 allows us to easily track the leads and registrations using specific tracking links, in the reports feature. This allows us to get a wholistic view of what channels are working the most effective for us.

It also lets us easily run on demand webinars without doing much manual work, so it can run in the background!

It also offers options to customize registration landing pages and emails, along with strong support for integrations with marketing automation tools like Salesforce and Marketo. Once a webinar is set up, it typically runs smoothly with minimal outages, and the on-demand content performs well.

**What do you dislike about ON24?**

There are limitations in customization in certain areas. For example, the registration landing pages and email layouts have more constrained options for colors and design than expected, making it difficult to stay fully on brand for broader communications. 

While ON24 is a powerful platform, setting up webinars comes with challenges depending on the format. For asynchronous webinars, uploading recordings is generally easier, but users often face issues with file compatibility, limited interactivity, and the need to re-upload or reprocess content if updates are required. For synchronous or large-scale live events, risks include technical glitches such as freezing, lag, or browser/device incompatibility, as well as the complexity of managing multiple presenters and sessions.

ON24 helps solve the challenge of delivering professional, scalable webinars and virtual events that engage audiences while capturing valuable data. The platform’s features for pre-webinar promotion and post-webinar communication streamline the entire process, making it easier and more efficient to manage events end to end. This not only saves time but also ensures a consistent experience for attendees before, during, and after the webinar.

Honestly, nothing. There was not one thing about it that is better than other tools or easy to use.

**What do you dislike about ON24?**

Live event
Screen share did not work. A demo from one of the presenter’s screens was the main portion and highlight of this webinar, and as a result, the presenters were left rattled and had to recover in a live event and fill the time another way that they had not planned on. Attendees were not able to see the demo, which was one of the main reasons they signed up for the webinar. This further wasted our time, as the presenter then had to clear his schedule to record a demo that we could email out after the fact. This also wasted the producer’s time as she had to edit and reschedule the automatic email to be sent following the webinar. 
Contacted emergency live support line and were told they can’t help because they can’t troubleshoot a live event. Provided no suggestions as to what might be the problem. 
The audience was able to see us moving through the slides before the webinar was actually live, which appears unprofessional and made people think the webinar had started when it had not yet. 
The image that appeared to people in the waiting room was stretched and did not look like it did when we tested everything out prior to going live.
The presenters were buffering several times during the webinar. There were also audio issues for some attendees.
Lead-up to event
A reminder email was sent out the day before the webinar and it just featured placeholders–no copy or image about the event, which made us look unprofessional. 
Any troubleshooting we required prior to the event (which was a lot!) was not a good experience–we would reach out to our CSM who would ask us to submit a Support ticket and copy him, which was additional work for us and took longer for the issue to be dealt with. Our CSM never once tried to help us troubleshoot, or reach out to customer support for us. 
Onboarding and implementation
Training was not helpful. The CSM spent most of the training covering strange use cases that would likely never happen, rather than focusing on the core features that we actually needed to know about. He did not ask us any questions about our needs.
Despite spending almost 3 hours doing training, we still did not understand how to use the platform because training was poorly organized. The topics covered were all over the place and extremely hard to follow.
All the feedback above was sent to multiple contacts at On24, and as of this post, no one has responded.

Webinars are a huge part of our ability to source leads. On24 was supposed to solve that for us, but it created bigger problems and we will not be using it again.

The console is great and customizable and there are lots of things you can provide to viewers. The integration with Salesforce and HubSpot have been easy to set up and overall pretty accurate. The customer support team and technical teams have been great when answering questions and are very willing to help.

**What do you dislike about ON24?**

Biggest problem that we've had is that simulive events lock about 2 hours before and that can be limiting for last minute changes. Uploading media and videos to use have been tough at times especially for simulive. There are also limitations in the data that comes into Salesforce but everything that needs to transfer does.

**What problems is ON24 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We're using this to run our webinars and create marketing leads for our Sales reps which the Salesforce integration is necessary for us to do. The audience experience is much better than other platforms we've used.

The customer support for ON24 Elite webinars has been exceptional. The support team is highly responsive and knowledgeable, ensuring that any issues or questions are addressed promptly. The only downside of on24 is that having guest speakers that are not used to the platform can be frustrating and need an extra step for training when other platforms that people are more used to might seem more intuative or easy to use.

**What do you like best about ON24?**

On24 is easy to use, very customizable, and reliable. I know I can count on On24 to run smoothly and look great no matter how large my audience is. I also love the integration with Salesforce, it has made my post-webinar processing so much smoother and more actionable. Customer support is always quick to respond and diligent in helping with the very rare issue I've run into over the years using this platform.

**What do you dislike about ON24?**

Sometimes when I am working with a new speaker for the first time we have a little trouble getting them connected. This is for different reasons, most of which are not On24-based, usually VPN based. I do wish VPNs didn't get in the way as frequently as they do.

**What problems is ON24 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

On24 is crucial in our webinar schedule and meets our needs, integrates with the systems we use, as well and better than anyone else. Webinars are one of our primary ways of engaging with our market and On24s reliability, customizability and quality are so important in that execution

ON24 is very intuitive software and easy to use for hosting webinars. I was able to get a team member producing webinars within days, without any intensive training. Their customer support team is also very responsive and helpful.

**What do you dislike about ON24?**

Parts of the app - like the function to setup multi-session webinars - are in need of an update. Also, it is still too easy for presenters to accidentally progress slides and videos during live events.

Our team produce 2-3 webinars per week - and ON24 makes it possible to create registration pages, host events and report on the results.

**What do you like best about ON24?**

On24 has an extremely easy to use interface and I have been able to train people to set up webinars in less than 30 minutes. It is very intuitive and support is always available if you have any problems. Any time I have run into an issue or was confused by something a simple email, phone call, or support chat session solved my problem. Their emergency support is top notch with a person answering my call within seconds and being empowered to help me any way that they could. With over 150 webinars completed so far, I have not had any major hiccups or issues.

**What do you dislike about ON24?**

Right now I would say there isn't anything I dislike about the service. I have not run into any issues creating or viewing webinars and have been able to handle any user issues on my own.

**Recommendations to others considering ON24:**

I would definitely give On24 a try if you are looking for a simple webianr platform that is easy to use and easy to manage. Once our basic template was set up (which took me about an hour to configure), we've been able to completely set up a webinar registration page in less than 30 minutes (even less if we have the same speakers/sponsors). It is a real time saver.

**What problems is ON24 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our business, a publishing company, runs multiple webinars a month to help promote new technologies and provide education for our readers across numerous industries. We needed a way for our teams, internally, to create and run webinars without having to rely on a person outside of our company. With On24, they provide a self-service portal for the entire webinar setup which solves our need entirely.

Because of this, we were able to reduce our overall cost and improve communication with our clients during the webinar creation and promotion process. Since everyone working on the webinars is internal to our business now, it is much easier to get responses to questions via email or to simply walk over to someone if there is an urgent issue.

So far poor implentation from Anthem the collaborator with On24.  I was emailed an invitation to register for a virtual webinar this month but the link fails to take you to registration and instead, directs you to G2 review.  So I am doing the review.  I wish my experience could have been better.

What I like best about ON24 is the array of features it provides for digital events. It seems like everything we could want or think of needing for events is available, from organized Q&A to reporting metrics once the event is over.

I love how many online article there are for a step-by-step guide. A huge plus is that ON24 updates them when they are outdated too! Compared to GoToWebinar, what a huge difference ON24 is!

**What do you dislike about ON24?**

I dislike that the PPT deck needs to be uploaded in advance, that's one of the biggest things that upsets my presenters. Another concern is when I run into sometimes is that the speaker(s) webcam or mic won't work at all with the platform during the pre-call before going into a live webinar and as a quick solution, I ask them to grab another device to try and login, I'm unsure how to tackle that with the troubleshooting tips I have up my sleeve.

**Recommendations to others considering ON24:**

There is support and the willingness of the ON24 rep to follow up and resolve any issues is a very great asset to the company.

Our company wanted more engagement opportunities with our audience, and it's been exciting to watch the console update through ON24's updates in a positive manner, for example now our widgets that show on launch are frame less unless hovered over, very cool!

ON24 allows provides ease of mind in terms of the technology. I don't need to stress about workarounds because the platform is designed for webinars and offers lots of bells and whistles. The audience experience is like a watching a tv show. Lots of opportunity to engage with the audience.  And the platform is super easy to use from a presenter standpoint, allowing them to focus on presenting and not the behind the scenes stuff.

Automating CPE was one of the biggest points for our team. Previously our team would manually prepare attendace/egagement certificates for the 10+ classes held each weeka fter verify the time in attendance and polls answered.  They also had to idetnity the name and send them via email whne complete.  Now, the system tracks based upon the requirements we enter and generates a certificate at the end of the session which cna be downloaded or is available in our online portal since we know their ID.  There are many other positives too

Typing polling questions out is my biggest challenge.  (Typing anything is a challenge for me).  An upload for polls would be helpful

**What problems is ON24 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We had a virtual classroom before COVID in 2020, but it wasn't our focus.  Now we rarely have one of our classroom events make.  But our online enrollment is way up.  We are seeing more customers attend training.  From our follow-ups, we are seeing clients are learning better in the interactive Forums format.  We still host larger events on the Elite platform too that lead attendees to our classes.  Plus we ask polling questions that support the learning objectives, but also give us insight into the client operations.  We can easily share that information with sales, support and product through the reports.

The team at ON24 has become increasingly responsive to support requests and are willing to work through any issues or concerns. We also like having the ability to fulling integrate registrations with SFDC. Having a platform that allows our audience to submit questions while watching on-demand recordings is also a great selling point.

**What do you dislike about ON24?**

Our company's products are delivered via an online platform and it includes sound effects that are an important component for our users. The Elite Studio does not allow for audio from browser tabs to be heard and uploading a pre-recorded video isn't always a viable option for us. When we want to have webinars that include demos in response to live Q&A, we would need to use ON24's Forums and that is currently too expensive of an option for us to adopt.

Enhancements to the platform have helped increase audience engagement and our own customization.
The reporting is robust and the integration with SFDC enhances our ability to track MQLs.
The support team willing to help us identify solutions or workarounds when we bring unique issues to their attention.

I appreciate how easy it was to get acclimated to the UI and functionaly - very straightforward, without cutting corners or features. Just had a customer mind-set when designing the user-interface, so for anyone learning it isn't a hard learning curve, and for those of us that have used webinar platforms in the past, an advantage and a relief someone finally got it right. I also love how open they are to enhancements and how quickly on24 implements new technology for its customers.

Not being able to format the QA questions and that it takes a really long time to upload PPTs and videos, as well as download webinar recordings.

The platform allowed my client to successfully evolve its decades-long 20 CPE credit training program from only in-person to live video along with some in-person.

The platform's performance is nearly bulletproof - over the four years my client's used ON24 'live video' to deliver its , we've experienced just one technical hiccup, which the Support team triaged aggressively and successfully.

**What do you dislike about ON24?**

There is a learning curve for the event administrator; once addressed, the platform is fairly easy to use.

Also, our CPE training program had some needs that stressed certain ON24 functionality, such as its certification functionality. That said, ON24 took our feedback and addressed within the platform the biggest certification drawbacks.

With ON24, we can more easily reach our CPA target audience, most of whom lack the time to be able to travel in-person to attend the training my client provides.

ON24 is incredibly easy to use and has many custom features to engage audiences. From different event formats to direct calls to action and engagement tools, ON24 is designed to build and retain audiences.

The integration with unique Salesforce instances is not easy to use or create. It needs a lot of customization and work from a marketing technology expert to ensure webinar data is appropriately passed through to Pardot or Salesforce. How your organization defines a "lead" will directly impact integration processes. Essentially, too much data comes with great responsibility.

ON24 is providing cleaner user interfaces which makes it easier to create and build webcast experiences. They listen to customer feedback, which leads to product releases that provides an easier experience.

Unlike the rest of college/university instructors during COVID, I pivoted away from ZOOM, paid my own way, to ensure that students received the needed degree of structure and control necessary for learning.   ON24 webcast platform was the ticket. 

Just prior to COVID (with full knowledge that online learning was coming) I surveyed students in all four(4) classes about their concerns, fears, aspirations and needs.   What surface was a fear that "structure" would vanish.   Stepping back, I realized that "control" would deliver that desired structure in the online learning experience.  (Zoom lacked that given the audience ability to cloak themselves with name tags, backgrounds and inconsistent knowledge of appearance).  

Fortunately, I have years of experience watching a seasoned ON24 moderator, Mary Windishar, deliver webcasts.  So I ventured into the world of ON24.   To say I jumped in with both feet and zero experience is an understatement.   Yet, it delivered that needed CONTROL big time.   The ON24 platform gave me the ability to see when class members arrived and departed from class.  All of those analytics are built into the platform.  Given that my ECommerce Advertising class was at the ripe hour of 7:30am where students traditionally would skip or show up late; my experience was opposite.  I could begin class with the decks, ...speak to students while gazing over at the attendance dashboard and see that Jimmy Spats logged in at 7:58am...a bit late for class.   In good humor I could add a bit of fun to the instruction and say  "Jimmy...welcome...you're a  bit late....be sure to pull the notes from the resource folder.  We're already into the paid search ad section....AND...next class please be on time."  What fun! 

The quality of showing KeyNote or PowerPoint decks relative to a Zoom option is night and day.  ON24 does not compromise visual quality like you experience on a Zoom ShareScreen.

There are so many good things with the ON24 platform.  I continued to use it even  after COVID for remote presentations and speaking engagements.  The quality of visual, the ability to control, the analytics of check-in, attendance, registration, Q&A interaction (and ranking), team chat, polling and so much more are solid.  Thank you.

Online support can be improved.   Streamline the "invite" set up process too.

The  ability to deliver CONTROL in an online business/instructional setting.

The developement of the user experience in the Elite studio. From mid 2023 to now, it has changed a lot. It looks cleaner now and is easier to use without loosing the customer. The changes were implemented really well.

Sometimes the elite studio isnt compatible with certain browsers and it can lag as well. But cutomer support has always been quick with jumping into the event with us to sort out the issue as we use it so frequently.

We use ON14 to collect leads. And so far, we have had no issues with it. It allows us to collect the data that we need and communicate with the registrant through the platform.
