Getting up and running on Omni was a breeze and allowed for usuable analytics and reporting within the first few days of making the db connections. The Omni UI and user experience feels intuitive and self service reporting is very natural. Our organzation has some ops/business users and a few power users who can write SQL and neither one of these groups is underserved by Omni app. The Support experience so far has been unmatched and very responsive, technically capable, and genuinely interested in our success as Omni clients. I've seen the data landscape evolve over the last 10 years, and the team at Omni Analytics has done a great job of identifying the strengths of various analytics platforms and making a single offering that truly marries those workflows harmoniously. Up until now, there have been very specific (and successful) analytics tools that cater to a governed model, iterative SQL analysis, or workbook BI. Omni supports all of these workflows simultaneously, which unlocks all departments within an organization to be empowered as data analysts. Power SQL users will enjoy the product as much as the data team used to the governed model approach. Oh, and by the way, the visualization and business user experience is snappy and responsive to boot. As AI/ML tooling becomes more mainstream across organizations, there could be a unrealized gap in the product going forward as it is currently focused on solving for the BI use case.
