being a new tool in the market, omni has still managed to capture a lot of essential features. their ui is very easy to understand. it supports various data sources and is very easy to connect to them. the performance on relatively smaller datasets is amazing. i have also found their starting videos and documentation to be very helpful. the blobby ai feature and ai summary charts are very exclusive to them and very interesting

**What do you dislike about Omni Analytics?**

when large datasets are imported and the dashboard has many charts, it lags a bit. right now, it does not support multiple dashboards in a single file feature like in tableau. it also does not support a lot of the chart types and we need to create them seperately using code

omni has a shared model approach making it easier for organizations to work together. by simply promoting the changes, all your peers will be able to see and use the changes you have made.

It makes interrogating company data and sorting through it to get actionable insights so easy and simple. It’s broadened my understanding of what our company does and how it has performed, and I’m very impressed.

Honestly, I haven’t found anything in there that I don’t like. If I had one suggestion, it would be adding an easier way to save AI conversations and the results from the chatbot.

What I like most about Omni Analytics is that it makes it easy for both analysts and business users to explore data and build dashboards quickly. It supports different workflows (SQL and spreadsheet-like formulas) while keeping metrics consistent, and it stays fast even on more complex dashboards

A few things could be improved: some advanced features feel a bit hidden, and the modeling/IDE experience could use stronger IntelliSense plus better organization (e.g., deeper field nesting) to make large workbooks easier to navigate. I’ve also seen occasional rough edges—complex dashboards can be unstable depending on the underlying models, and documentation sometimes lags behind new releases, which can slow down customization.

Omni Analytics is solving the “multiple sources of truth” problem by centralizing metric definitions in a governed semantic layer, so teams stop debating KPIs and start aligning on the same numbers. It also bridges the gap between technical and non-technical users, analysts can use SQL while business users can work with spreadsheet-like formulas, so more people can self-serve without constant data-team support. As a result, we can answer questions faster, iterate on analyses in one place, and scale reporting more reliably across teams

**What do you like best about Omni Analytics?**

Omni has greatly enhanced Dayton Freight Lines self-serve analytics and reporting for internal users. Training time has decreased, and adoption of the tool into daily workflows has increased noticeably. Whenever support is needed, the Omni team responds quickly with helpful guidance and best practice recommendations. From a development standpoint, the modeling layer has helped our BI team improve data governance, standardizing a single source of truth across all reporting metrics.

**What do you dislike about Omni Analytics?**

There aren’t many drawbacks to working in Omni, but a few areas could be improved from a development standpoint. The modeling layer within the IDE would benefit from more robust IntelliSense suggestions—though this has improved compared to earlier versions. Additionally, stronger organizational and hierarchical features within workbooks would make a meaningful difference. For example, allowing fields to be nested beyond a single level in the field picker would enable structuring by business process objects, making it much easier for users to locate the fields they need.

The point-and-click nature of the field picker in workbooks is simple and straightforward for users to grasp, however also offers plenty of enhance capability for more advanced users with complex use-cases.

**What do you like best about Omni Analytics?**

Omni gives us the very sweet spot between providing good Governance for the data team to maintain some order within metrics, but also enough flexibility to allow ad hoc versions for users. Their team is also always working very hard to provide us with new features and great support. We had a very smooth implementation, we used to work with Looker and we were able to full transition within 2 months.

**What do you dislike about Omni Analytics?**

While they have lots of very cool features, some minor details are a bit "annoying" (but not deal breakers), like not providing contrast colors for graph labels, some important features being a bit "hidden", like filtered measures, etc.These are all small details, nothing major.

**What problems is Omni Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Provide our users with high quality data so they can independently build their own reports and take good decisions based on data. Implement governance of metrics and adata across the company, making data in Omni the source of truth.

**What do you like best about Omni Analytics?**

Design philosophy: Omni pitch themselves as the balance between flexible BI (think notebook-style BI tools like Power BI, Metabase, Tableau) and governance (think semantic layer based BI tools like Looker), and they've absolutely nailed it. Tables in BigQuery are automatically reflected in Omni's "schema" layer, governance is then through a "shared" layer (yml defined joins, measures, custom columns), but the real differentiator is their "workbook" model - each dashboard in Omni acts as a git branch based off the "shared" model. This allows you to have reusable measures / joins / custom columns etc. defined just inside a dashboard, without editing the company-wide "shared" model (but it's easy to promote changes if you want). It's a really nice balance of shared definitions across the company, but with necessary flexibility on top.

Features: To call out a few - Excel-style calculations on table results, filtered measures (a UI based approach to doing things like "SUM(IF(column="x", y, NULL))" without having to write SQL - much faster and far safer), and generally the overall speed due to their caching / using duckDB. They've also launched spreadsheets that can be powered by multiple workbook queries - which cuts out a lot of copy/pasting into Google Sheets.

Team: Tons of experience in the BI space which shows in the product - and frequent product updates with quality of life improvements, plus they've been excellent to work with over the past ~1.5 years with any questions or requests that we've had.

**What do you dislike about Omni Analytics?**

Some initial rough edges: We were a fairly early customer of theirs so there were naturally going to be features not yet in the product, and UI nits / occasional bugs we came across - but they've been very consistent in shipping updates.

Charting: Most of their charts use Vega-lite, so if you want to customise them further than you can in the UI it involves digging through JSON with some trial & error to get it right. You can also build an incredibly broad range of visualisations using their markdown visualisations (e.g. a table of embedded Gong calls, or a kanban board for Sales opportunities) - but this is quite fiddly to set up. Their native visualisations like their KPI tiles feel really polished, so I'd love at some point for all of their chart types to be similar. This isn't a frequent blocker for us - more a quality of life improvement.

We use Omni for all of our internal BI & reporting across everything from monitoring product launches through to tracking customer health and giving Sales leadership visibility into pipeline.

**What do you like best about Omni Analytics?**

Omni completely transformed our embedded analytics experience for our customers. I lead a small team of analysts, and in a matter of weeks, our team was able to leverage Omni to convert the analytics within our product from a legacy set of static charts into fast, interactive dashboards that feel native to our platform. Omni’s dbt integration let us efficiently manage our business logic, their flexible and expanding visualization tools give us a ton of optionality on how we represent our data, and their team is incredibly responsive and support and their team is incredibly responsive and supportive. I highly recommend Omni to any company that wants to turn analytics into a true competitive advantage.

**What do you dislike about Omni Analytics?**

Omni is growing rapidly and the product is changing quickly as a result, but the team works in public and previews new and beta features in visible ways that let you get ready and excited (instead of blindsided by) the changes coming!

**What problems is Omni Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Omni solved three big problems for us: slow time for development and bug fixes, inconsistent metrics that made it hard for customers to trust their data, and limited ability for customers to see and trust underlying data. Now, we can ship new analytics quickly, our customers trust and explore their data on their own, and our team can focus on better serving our customers instead of answering ad-hoc data requests.

**What do you like best about Omni Analytics?**

The standout feature is how approachable it makes complex data analysis. Unlike other BI tools where only data analysts can build meaningful reports, Omni lets our entire team explore data confidently. The modeling layer is incredibly intuitive - you define metrics once and everyone uses the same definitions, which eliminated our "which number is right?" debates. Performance is snappy even with large datasets, and the visualization options hit that sweet spot between powerful and not overwhelming.

The team is also very pleasant to work with and engaging. Often not the case in BI tools.

**What do you dislike about Omni Analytics?**

The learning curve for advanced features can be steep - while basic usage is intuitive, mastering the modeling layer and more complex joins takes time.

**What problems is Omni Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We're making faster, better decisions. When anyone can quickly validate a hypothesis or spot a trend without waiting days for an analyst, the whole company moves faster. Our product launch cycles have shortened because we can measure impact in real-time and iterate quickly. That's the kind of competitive advantage that's hard to quantify but absolutely critical.

I like Omni Analytics because it provides direct access to data, eliminating the need for Excel sheets and individual solutions. The wide variety of visualizations and the intuitive workbook-to-dashboard relationship make graph and dashboard creation easy. It's beneficial to add new fields seamlessly when you have a strong data team.

**What do you dislike about Omni Analytics?**

I think that it's not intuitive how to set up topics. I think topics are the hardest part of topic curation. It is the most challenging thing. I think the other thing I would change is that there could be more attention given to the schedules and deliveries feature, like being able to notify when things change in the dashboard. I think that could use a lot of improvement, as it's just very basic right now. I would love to see more enhancements on that front.

I love the AI building features of Omni Analytics and the simplicity of the drag-and-drop interface, which enhances responsiveness. The dashboards are equipped with more tools than just querying data, allowing text or markdown format integration and AI queries. I appreciate the customizability and advanced functionality that makes the product feel polished and professional. The Slack support has been beneficial, and the collaboration with a third-party training team was very helpful. The ability to white-label the dashboard aids in branding. The smooth setup process and the innovative AI dashboard creation greatly contribute to efficiency.

**What do you dislike about Omni Analytics?**

The pricing structure is a significant concern for me. The current model, which charges $15 per user per month, is quite expensive given I have thousands of users. Many of these users are end users who simply need access to the application occasionally, and the cost per user does not align with the revenue generated per user.   I would also prefer having an in-house customer success team to support us with setup and onboarding processes. Currently, this service is contracted out, which might not provide the same level of personalized and consistent service that an internal team could offer.

I use Omni Analytics to visualize data in a customizable way, saving engineers' time on dashboard setup, enhancing our professional look, and offering responsive, AI-powered features loved by users. We simply couldn't maintain this ourselves.

**What do you like best about Omni Analytics?**

Our organization has used a variety of business intelligence tools over the years, including Tableau, PowerBI, and most recently Looker. While all of these platforms are powerful, we often found them bloated and cumbersome to use. Looker’s LookML is excellent for data modeling, but it also locks you into the platform and centralizes modeling in a way that limits flexibility.

We use dbt for our data transformations, and Omni’s two-way integration with dbt has been a game changer. It allows us to leverage our central data model while also giving us the flexibility to do quick, ad hoc analysis directly in Omni when needed. Whether we are using our dbt models or building something fast in Omni, we can push the results back to our data warehouse with ease.

We transitioned all of our worksheets from Looker to Omni in about two months, largely because of how intuitive Omni is. The user experience draws on the best elements of other platforms. It includes Looker’s ease of drilling and exploring, Tableau’s tabbed workbook layout, and familiar Excel-like functions for non-SQL users. It covers everything we need without the extra weight of features we do not use.

Most importantly, Omni’s customer support is the best I have experienced from any vendor, not just in the business intelligence space but overall. We are in a Slack channel with their team, and their engineers and even their CEOs respond within minutes. They are hands-on, collaborative, and eager to help solve complex problems.

Omni has been a transformative partner for us. I highly recommend it to any team looking for a modern BI tool that blends power with simplicity and offers unmatched support.

**What do you dislike about Omni Analytics?**

Omni is still a relatively new product, so there are some rough edges. I often tell my team to expect a little bit of jank here and there. But in our experience, the trade-off is well worth it. This might not be the right tool for a massive corporation that requires a perfectly polished platform with zero errors. However, if you can tolerate the occasional quirk, I highly recommend it.

We do run into small bugs from time to time, and a few expected features are still missing. For example, some visualization types and formatting options are not yet available. That said, the Omni team is incredibly responsive. They actively listen to feedback, frequently add our requests to their roadmap, and often come up with smart workarounds in the meantime. It really feels like they are building the product alongside their users.

**What problems is Omni Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Omni for internal business intelligence dashboards, including membership counts, revenue goals, database management, and tracking business education trends. It helps us bring all this data into one place so we can make faster, more informed decisions.

Hard to speak to one thing. Omni Analytics is by far the best BI tool I have used and I have used many from Tableau, Looker, Power BI, Superset, etc. The list goes on. Being able to have data modeled into topics within the Semantic Layer, have git branch like dev and prod releases, connect multiple data sources (within one connection), flexibility when working with data, separation of concerns with model layer and workbook layer, great customer support, straightforward implementation and integrations, etc

**What do you dislike about Omni Analytics?**

Don't really have down sides. It would be nice to have a best practice guide on how to best work with the platform to scale your data and achieve optimal performance but that is more of a modeling issue than platform specific at the moment.

For users of Looker, picking up Omni is an easy process, and our business users have also found Omni to be intuitive and powerful. Omni's visualization options are powerful, and they are constantly adding new features. It's a 100% upgrade from Looker. The Omni team is also easy to work with, easy to reach, and extremely helpful.

As with any great BI tool, there is a learning curve to using Omni, but Omni's is the shortest I've experienced among modern BI tools.

**What do you like best about Omni Analytics?**

The best thing about Omni is how flexible and versatile it is, both in terms of visualizations/ways of interacting with the data, as well as how it allows you to manage things in the backend to make the end-user experience as smooth as possible. I think they've nailed the approach of different logical layers and found the right balance between needing to declare everything explicitly vs. sensible defaults to get you up and running ASAP. The cherry on top is the excellent team behind the product, and the speed at which they ship new features and updates.

**What do you dislike about Omni Analytics?**

Honestly there isn't much to dislike. I occasionally wish their documentation was a bit more thorough/up-to-date, although given the pace at which they release new features this is somewhat inevitable.

We use Omni for all internal analytics, supporting the entire organisation (both Product and Go-To-Market) with their reporting needs. It's also been very successful in enabling non-technical stakeholders to self-serve data to a good extent.

The best thing about Omni is it's flexibility.  It's easy to build out and work with the shared model when that makes sense, but it's also super easy to build a quick report from custom SQL when there's a new question or data set.  And if you want to use that custom SQL in the shared model, that is super easy to do.

**What do you dislike about Omni Analytics?**

Because it is a newer, smaller company there is more of a learning curve for users compared to going with a larger, more established tool like Tableau or Looker.  But Omni's training and support team make it very easy to get the team up to speed quickly.

It allows us to do standard metric reporting, while also allowing stakeholders to have direct access to data to help them answer questions themselves.

The semantic layer approach provides consistent and reusable definitions for aggregating data. Not just within a report, across all reports. Business logic that used to be tribal knowledge buried under layers of field calculations is instead brought to light, agreed upon, version controlled, and made reusable. An opinionated BI tool that encourages best practices instead of enabling as many bad ones as possible is like a breath of fresh air.

While Omni is version controlled and enables data environment switching, that functionality has not yet been extended to make the dbt integration fully git-aware. Lots of potential on their roadmap.

**What do you like best about Omni Analytics?**

This is a next generation BI tool that my company chose after evaluating about a dozen BI options. We moved from Tableau to Omni in 3 months and the business absolutely loves it - to the point that within a month of launch we needed more licenses since it was so popular. The model/semantic layer allows these less technical users to create new analyses based on curated datasets and get people much closer to data. It has a nice visualization library, iFrame integration (Hex, Google docs, etc), and native Markdown, allowing for a lot of versatility. It sits right on top of the database, so there no extra refresh step, and the smart caching is actually smart. I really like working in the "Develop" mode where I can define, provide descriptions, and create and modify and dimensions all in one place. It is easy to maintain and control our datasets and 'topics' which results in consistency across all dashboards.

At times, Omni is slow to respond. A 1-2 second delay adds up when modifying many field name, cleaning up formatting, or just working in general in Omni. There are also some chart types that are not available. One in particular, trellis, is one they are woking on adding soon.

For non-technical users, soft landing after using Looker for many years; for technical users, the deep integration with Snowflake and dbt. Support has been A+ with quick responses from knowledgeable individuals.

Bit of a lag in documentation; new features are released often and there's a delay in explicit instruction on how to customize. Can be confusing because the demo and changelog provide some help so we spin our wheels fact finding.

We have three main reporting problems: implementing AI that works directly with our semantic layer, an improved visualization experience for end users and support to reduce resolution times for our small team of BI Engineers. 

Omni has been enormously helpful in delivering AI that leverages the documentation we are already consolidating within dbt; the baseline experience is much improved by our normal operations. On visualization, end users enjoy the breadth of options, the ease of customization through drag and drop and particularly the chart types (KPI, Trellis) that generate multiple graphics to tell a compelling story. Support, currently provided to us via a Slack channel, has been a game changer: all conversation on Omni is directed to the channel and requests external to that have been limited to administrative asks (access requests, groups, etc).

Most companies need a SQL-based dashboarding tool to dig into and benchmark business data and source-of-truth user data - Omni has taken a fresh approach to building for that use case and created something world-class. While knowing SQL always helps, Omni is making is possible for end users to create beautiful charts and dashboards without writing queries as well. 

I love their visualization flexibility as well as their feature around scheduling delivery of dashboards. It makes it really easy to disseminate data throughout the org. Their support and sales teams are fantastic and I am also quite taken aback by their ability to deliver new feature and functionality at a rapid pace. Looking forward to using this tool for years to come.

As a non-technical person who is trying to understand how our customers are leveraging and getting value out of our product, I am always looking for ways to get my hands on data. The data will empower me to understand what happened so I can adjust or predict what will happen so I can better control the outcome. Omni is the first data tool I've used that allows me more freely (as a non-technical person) to do this. I don't have to rely on an engineer to do it for me. In a startup that is moving fast, this is imperative. 

Omni has also offered fantastic customer support, the team is smart and very responsive.

Thus far there isn't anything I dislike, but only things I would like to see in the system. For example, better ways to see Period over Period performance (so I can see a percentage change), customizable notifications based on performance thresholds would make Omni a very strong tool for GTM folks looking to scale their performance.

One of Omni's best features is the ease of updating your schema whenever it changes. In other BI tools, this requires several steps in several places that are multiplied by the number of schema changes; with Omni you just click refresh. Omni's customer success team is also top notch and is incredibly helpful with any question you throw at them.

Omni is an incredibly full featured BI solution at a very reasonable cost. The platform offers several features important to us that are unique to Omni:
- ongoing warehouse sync: Omni can recheck your warehouse and inform you of modeling that has broken due to warehouse changes, providing helpful error messages to help guide you to corrections
- attractive UI layer: Omni's visual design (in our opinion) is superior to competitors
- service: Omni offers a truly incredible level of personal service where competitors seemingly offer little to none. Their team is constantly available in real time for anything from troubleshooting tricky issues to just helping you make your dashboards look better. If you are not already a BI expert, this is in invaluable resource.

**What do you dislike about Omni Analytics?**

Omni is relatively newer  and as such does not offer total feature parity with competitors who have been around longer. This probably matters to you more when considering what you might lose when switching, but if you are starting from scratch you can build your workflows around their feature set and won't miss a beat.

Prior to Omni, we have had several fits and starts with how to manage internal analytics in our organization. Omni helped us consolidate and mature those efforts into an approach that is more modern, robust, sustainable, and maintainable. The schema modelling and developer interface make it so easy to surface lots of data, really quickly, that people in the business have never seen before. It has already generated a few 'wow' moments.

The UI is really nice and intuitive. They have leaned into the fact that Excel is the grandparent of all BI tools and everyone understands it. They've done this in both in the appearance of the UI and in features like custom calculations that support lots of standard Excel syntax and are translated into SQL run on the underlying data warehouse.

They are super quick to respond to queries and the customer support is great.

**What do you dislike about Omni Analytics?**

Honestly not very much. The standard set of available visualisations are currently a bit limited but they are very early in their development and there is an escape hatch to use the underlying library to draw them.

A couple of teething problems to be expected with such a new tech product but the speed of customer support is very helpful with these. Often fixing bugs or responding to small feature requests in hours.

Overall the experience of using Omni is pretty straight forward from anyone coming from a Tableau/PowerBI type of background and for new users, it's relatively approachable as well. 

The pricing model is well suited to small teams/companies without nickel & diming for every user or feature, and is much better value for money compared to other larger enterprise BI solutions with heavy implementations and significant cost.

The entire omni team from sales/BD through success and leadership have been great in terms of getting our data sources integrated, helping us learn the tool, and partnership overall.

As a business user, it probably took me an hour to get used to the "Omni way" and start churning valuable insights for our business! 

I used many BI tools in the past (the main one being Looker) and I was never sold into the wave of the "Data Visualisation" solution. Those expect you to know what the result of your analysis should look like before you even start. What I loved about Looker was that it was all about exploring to find valuable nuggets in your data, and if you found something good you saved it, you used it and you shared it. 

So when we started looking for our Analytics solution, Omni was a natural choice. Omni goes a step further making these early analysis even easier in my opinion, as one doesn't need to wait for metrics to be available in a central model to start exploring data. It's super easy to create your own metrics or derive metrics from existing ones and start building super powerful insights quickly. If what I build's good, we just promote the new metrics into the model so they can be reused everywhere by all users. The combination of the workbook and modelled BI approach is very powerful.

The other thing that's most enjoyable about working with Omni is the team. They hit all the marks that you'd expect from a top vendor! Super responsive support, very friendly and helpful advices, new & super valuable features being released almost daily... it's a pleasure to see the speed at which the product is evolving. 

It already a great solution, it's getting better everyday and you're supported by one of the most knowledgeable team there is -  it is absolutely the best value-for-money one can find in the BI Market right now.

As a young company some features are obviously missing but they tend to be nice to have and everytime I need something it tends to be released within a week or two of me asking!

Omni helps me quickly explore my data to find valuable insights to drive my business. As head of sales and customer success, both product & sales analytics are required to make good decisions and it is hard to do without god data. The ability to myself explore, create my own metrics and visualise them quickly is great. 

The second aspect that Omni helps me with is creating actionable dashboard/product for my team. We want to monitor a number of operational KPIs and being able to share these with the team on a recurring basis so they can go action what's required of them is crucial.

The little to no code required to you to build a model and share it with your team is amazing. Instead of having to spend hours theory crafting a model you can build queries and have those outputs be pushed to the model all with a couple of clicks. This is far superior to other BI tools out there that rely on a central model.

We have a large amount of json based user data which is normally pretty complex to model in a BI tool, especially for reusability. Because of Omni's ability to add on the fly dimensions based on json paths we can easily create a multi tiered json picker. Prior to Omni we had to spend at least a day on every new query we were building primarily because of the complexity of our json.

**What do you like best about Omni Analytics?**

As a self-qualified Looker "Guru", I was very excited to play with Omni, a tool created by a super smart crew of Ex-Lookers. 

Omni takes the semantic layer modelling approach to BI and democratises it even further. It combines Looker's code-based modelling layer approach with the Self-Service Workbooks of Tableau, empowering a wider variety of users to consume and improve the model without falling into the pitfall of complexity creep.

The experience is smooth and responsive, and the underlying caching seems  to do a decent job of ensuring consistent performance across Dashboards with many queries.

**What do you dislike about Omni Analytics?**

Omni is a young tool; it may take a little time before it reaches full feature parity with some more established BI solutions out there. But the foundations are there and the vision is evident.

Omni helps us deliver reporting at a fast pace and ensure that end users are able to self-serve and consume dashboards efficiently. It enables a wide variety of profiles to work with data while not having an established data function yet.

**What do you like best about Omni Analytics?**

Omni is great for fast moving teams that want the flexibility of a shared data model like Looker offers without being too tied down to the data model. Being able to "promote" changes to the shared model in the UI vs. keeping them isolated in a workbook is key to our workflow and something that other tools do not offer at all.

**What do you dislike about Omni Analytics?**

Some lack of features comparable to bigger names on the BI market, but confident they will be rolled out soon. Their team is also very responsive to feedback so if there is something we need implemented we can usually get it done pretty fast.

**What problems is Omni Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Omni Analytics solves the self-serve data use case for our team by allowing users to query our data without writing or knowing SQL. It enables us to be more strategic in our decision making

**What do you like best about Omni Analytics?**

I think Omni is the next-generation analytics, modeling, and visualization tool. It supports users who are new to SQL to analytics experts. It pairs incredibly well with dbt to provide a centralized source for analysis for our whole company.

I love the automatic schema update feature. When we create a new model in dbt, Omni automatically pulls it in with the correct dimensions and even takes a shot at predicting how it should be joined to other models. The break between Topics (Explores in Looker) and how models are joined is a 10/10 feature and saves us a ton of time in the modeling stage. Users who need an on-the-rails experience get it. Users who know how to do custom joins, measures, and dimensions get them. They can even promote their customizations to the main model so everyone can benefit in a really low-friction way.

The support we've received from the Omni team has been truly incredible. Their customer service alone is a reason to switch. Every time we've needed help (even if it's just folks new to SQL who need a hand) the team has responded in minutes. If we find a bug, it's usually fixed in nothing flat. If we need a feature, we often see them add it within hours or days -- not weeks.

Before you spin up anything else, give Omni a shot. It's worth it.

**What do you dislike about Omni Analytics?**

Omni is a new product and sometimes I find myself reaching for something that I would expect in a more seasoned platform and find it missing. However, every time that's happened the Omni team has met our need with a first-class feature in hours or days. They're an incredible team and it's been amazing working with them.

**What problems is Omni Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Omni is our central source for tracking our product metrics, user attribution, and company financials. It's our one-stop-shop for all things analytics at Prefect.

**What do you like best about Omni Analytics?**

Really flexible analytics anchored by a strong modeling layer that's simple to learn and easy to implement. I love being able to edit SQL in the front end, then push to the model when ready - and keep some analyses in separate workbooks until they make sense to add to the model. Works well for small teams and can clearly scale to a bigger org.

**What do you dislike about Omni Analytics?**

Since they're new, there are still some features that aren't live yet (like certain chart customizations, etc), but their product team is incredibly responsive and has shipped a ton of features in a short time, so I feel confident that they'll have everything covered in short order.

**What problems is Omni Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Omni is our company's core analytics platform - we look at daily dashboards, do ad-hoc analysis, answer questions to drive product priorities, and report out to our team's stakeholders.

**What do you like best about Omni Analytics?**

What I like the most about the Omni Analytics platform is its ability to unify data. By being able to integrate information from various sources, both structured and unstructured, it allows us to consolidate business perspectives in a holistic way. Its microservices-oriented architecture approach makes massive data ingestion and processing highly scalable. This enables us to constantly refresh the historical data and forecasts that feed our machine learning predictive models

**What do you dislike about Omni Analytics?**

Although the Omni Analytics platform provides us with many facilities in general, there is one aspect that I think could be improved and that is the lack of deeper integration with third-party tools that we commonly use. Despite the fact that it allows data to be loaded from different sources, the truth is that being able to connect visualizations or analysis modules natively with our CRM, ERP or other management systems with which we work on a daily basis would greatly facilitate the power to implement in a simpler and more intuitive way the knowledge we obtain from data analysis. This means that sometimes we find ourselves in the need to carry out manual processes to pass the information from one side to another, which implies more implementation time that could be invested in more valuable tasks...

**What problems is Omni Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The Omni Analytics platform has certainly helped me solve various analytics issues and challenges we were facing. One of the main ones was the difficulty of efficiently integrating the wide variety of raw data generated by our various systems and channeling all that volume of information towards a unified model that would allow us to obtain global visibility. With Omni Analytics' powerful data loading, cleansing, and unification capabilities, I can now more easily centralize both structured and unstructured data. This allows me to have a single truth that holistically feeds my analysis, modeling and prediction tasks

Omni is an affordable, easy to use tool with an INCREDIBLE team behind it. It is so clear that the team is thoughtfully building out a best in class BI tool that can grow with a company from their early startup days to their enterprise days. From the sales process to the ongoing support, you'll never have any issues with the Omni team and the product. They know what they're doing and it's capabilities are exactly what you want in a BI tool.

Since Omni is new, not every UI feature is built out - but they are quick to implement and have a super clear roadmap. Once I asked for a UI improvement (group labels) and they were implemented into the platform within a day or two. Excellent, responsive team!

Omni solves self-service reporting for our business. It enables users to answer questions and get the daily information they need to answer questions. This allows our team to have a shared understanding of performance and focus on tackling any issues.

The best part is easy and unique dashboards it help you create and do all analytics. The view is very fresh and simple and help you understand all important metrics. Its is really robust and has a very friendly UI.
