What do you like best about Okta?

I like Okta because it provides fast, centralized security verification. It effectively solves identity and access management issues by centralizing user login. I value the access management feature as it allows me to grant access to authorized people. Also, the initial setup of Okta was easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Okta?

I find it slow sometimes, specifically the number pop-up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Unified Logins Across Apps with Fast Phone Auto-Prompt"
5/5
What do you like best about Okta?

It has helped unify the login experience across multiple sites/applications. I can add new sites as they become relevant. The auto-prompt via phone app helps speed up login. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Okta?

If you change your password you should make every effort to remember it because it will impact logging into every other app. I wouldn't say this is an actual downside though, because it's easy enough to just reset your password. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Secure and Intuitive, But Can Be Slow"
4/5
What do you like best about Okta?

I like that Okta is super intuitive and easy to set up, so you don't need a degree to test it out. It integrates with a ton of popular software, making it very flexible. It's also really helpful for tracking when people log in and do their work, plus it makes giving access to licenses like Salesforce a breeze. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Okta?

Okta is incredibly slow, and it asks you for a login pretty much all the time. Even after you've logged in, it sometimes asks you to log in again, which can be a little bit frustrating for people who use it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Scalable Identity Solution for Growing Organizations"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Okta?

Okta provides centralized identity and access management, making it easy to securely handle user authentication across multiple applications from a single platform.

The Single Sign-On (SSO) experience feels seamless, letting users access all their apps with one login, which improves both security and convenience. I also appreciate the strong multi-factor authentication (MFA) options, which add an extra layer of protection without making things overly complicated for end users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Okta?

One of the main challenges with Okta is that the initial setup and configuration can be quite complex, particularly when you’re working with advanced policies, integrations, or custom workflows. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A One-Stop Hub for All Our Business Apps"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Okta?

I currently use Okta as a hub in my company. What I like the most about Okta is that it collects all the different applications we use, like Workday, Zoom AI, DC support, Smartsheet, Asana, Salesforce, and more. It's like a one-stop shop for everything, reducing or eliminating the need to sign in to each application separately. I just sign in to Okta, and it gives me access to the various applications we have. I also appreciate the two-step authentication app, which allows me to access Okta from any computer or device worldwide. Additionally, the initial setup process of Okta was very easygoing, straightforward, and user-friendly. I just had to hop on a call with IT, and they used my credentials to set up the account and gave me access to Duo, making the setup really easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Okta?

I think for me is making sure that I have the right tile for the right application. It is usually something that is annoying. If I don't have it, then I have to request access from IT. I would say that's the only thing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Secure and Effortless to Use"
5/5
What do you like best about Okta?

What I like most about Okta is that it is very secure. It's a secure app that we definitely use, and the only way to get past it involves devices like the phone, using a fingerprint. So for me, I love the security of the device. I also find it easy to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Okta?

The only thing that I did not care for with Okta was when I got logged off and couldn't get the information I needed for the app. I had to go through technical support just to get my info back. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Security and Easy Access with Okta"
5/5
What do you like best about Okta?

I use Okta to keep all of my work apps in one place, and I like Okta's sign-on feature for those apps. It lets me enter my password once, do the two-factor authentication, and get access to all my apps without re-entering my details every time. I appreciate the ability to sign in to several apps at once and the second level of security it provides. I find Okta very easy to use and user-friendly, and I haven't really had any bugs or problems from a tech point of view. I value the single sign-on and the main page where all the apps are located. The initial setup was extremely easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
