I appreciate being able to use the platform’s Automation features to streamline employee onboarding. I also like how the way the implementation is set up helps with access auditing.

Having recently upgraded to the Okta Identity Engine, I cannot think of anything I actively dislike about the system.

SSO via Okta is solving the problems of multiple credentials required for the multitude of tools, Saas solution and Applications our staff need to carry out their roles.

I like using Okta for its centralized authentication system, which simplifies accessing third-party apps without the need for traditional password-based authentication. I appreciate that it scales with team size, so we only need to set up a new account in the Okta dashboard for each team member instead of creating separate accounts for every application. I also find the initial setup easy, as it can be implemented incrementally.

**What do you dislike about Okta?**

It's really costly and not every app provides SAML. Since SAML is central to allowing instance access and credential-less authentication, this industry-grade authentication system is not available on every platform.

**What problems is Okta solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Okta for centralized authentication, providing single sign-on and access without traditional passwords. It scales with our team, eliminating the need for individual app accounts.

For BPOs it's usually maintained by the clients and responses take more time, but I don't think this is OKTA specific issue.

Having a lot of passwords for different tools and this solves the usual corporate issue of password resets and requesting different accesses to different tools while all can be done in one place.

**What do you like best about Okta?**

After implementing Okta, the biggest improvement we’ve noticed is how much smoother access has become across our applications. Single Sign-On means I don’t have to juggle multiple passwords, and the adaptive MFA adds security without slowing me down. It’s reassuring to know our data is better protected, but what I appreciate most is the convenience, fewer password resets and less time wasted logging in. There are occasional delays when using the mobile app, but overall the balance of usability and security has been a real win for our team

**What do you dislike about Okta?**

Okta works well overall, but there are a few things that could be improved. The admin dashboard can feel cluttered, with too many settings spread across different menus, which makes it harder to find what you need quickly. The mobile MFA prompts sometimes take a little longer than expected, which can be frustrating when you’re in a hurry. Support documentation is detailed, but not always easy to navigate. None of these issues are deal‑breakers, but they do add small friction points to an otherwise solid platform

**What problems is Okta solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Okta has solved one of our biggest headaches: managing multiple passwords. With Single Sign-On, I only need to remember one login, which means I don’t forget credentials or waste time resetting them. The added benefit is that our accounts are more secure thanks to MFA, but the real win for me is the convenience — I can get into all my apps quickly without juggling different passwords. It’s reduced frustration and saved a lot of time across the team

I like Okta's push notification feature with the YES/NO option and location details. It works well for me as a user. I can login using OTP, in-app push notifications, and in-app OTP. It's also easy to install on mobile to implement the SSO.

I truly appreciate Okta for its ease of use when logging onto numerous websites needed for work using just one password. This not only simplifies my access but also enhances security by reducing the number of credentials I have to manage, making my workflow much more efficient. The simplicity and effectiveness of this single sign-on feature are invaluable in maintaining both productivity and security, particularly when dealing with websites containing protected health information (PHI). Additionally, the initial setup of Okta was very easy, which further emphasizes its user-friendliness. Overall, I am thoroughly satisfied with the service it provides, enough to rate it a perfect 10 out of 10 for recommendation to friends and colleagues.

I dislike that you have to get with an IT team to enable to setting to send a code via phone call. It should be available as a default since not everyone owns a work cell phone and some cannot use their personal phones

I find Okta very helpful as it allows all of our systems to exist in one space. I like the option to add apps, which enables our administration to approve or deny effectively. I also appreciate the ease of the initial setup, especially if you're accustomed to verifying through apps using passcodes and authentication.

Just miniscule things such as background options for different graphics to allow color and grab attention. Personal or either Okta graphics on the site for better appealing to the users to not only enjoy everything in one place but making things visibly appealing.

Okta has been super helpful for me, especially given the number of internal tools we use. Having to log in to each of them independently is extremely challenging, and Okta makes life much simpler by providing a dedicated dashboard where all the apps are integrated in one place. Most importantly, it feels extremely privacy-friendly.

Sometimes, the time it takes to load can be a bit longer. That’s the only drawback I see.

I like that Okta is really easy to understand and use, including the ability to access multiple tools and applications from one platform. The security it provides to the end users is a big plus, making it hard for anyone to access my credentials without proper verification.

It was kinda difficult to validate from my mobile phone since we have a Okta verification app. Whenever we change mobile devices, it's difficult to transfer that app to the new mobile device without any issues.

I think Okta is really good because it makes it easy to understand and include different tools on one platform. Its verification tools help us avoid hacking by making it hard for someone to access using my credentials.

i only require one master password to login in every system/software associated with my company. The Okta Verify mobile app is also good compared to other authenticator apps I've used. The push to approve functionality for Multi-Factor Authentication is much faster and convenient.

session timeouts can be sometimes annoying, or when it asks to authenticate 2-3 times in a single flow

Transferring the mobile app and all profiles to a new device can be a bit of a headache, but it sort of has to be to maintain security, so I don't fault it for that.

What I liked about Okta is that it integrates with many systems and serves as a single place to log in, from which you are automatically connected to various platforms. Essentially, you only need to remember one password, and it grants you access to a wide range of systems.

Sometimes the extension doesn’t recognize that I’m already authenticated, so I need to log in again through Okta for several systems. This can be a bit cumbersome, and I would expect the extension to handle this more efficiently.

I like that Okta just works. I can go to one place to access all the apps and use one-click sign-on. Okta is integrated into many core workflows and it seems like they have integrations for many things. I use the SSO and Yubikey integration, which means I can sign in super easily and securely without memorizing passwords. All of our enterprise apps are integrated with it, including an internal CLI tool we use, making authentication into our systems simple. As an end-user, the setup process seemed very simple.

No real complaints. Works for my needs.

With single sign-on (SSO), it's amazing because there's absolutely zero re-authentication needed. It's a centralized hub that simplifies our workflow by offering search-based application access.

Smaller organizations might not be able to manage cost. A few security breaches but all resolved now. Setup was a bit complex but the Okta team supported us.

We have a lot of tools. Without Okta, it would've been impossible to remember all the passwords. It's also more secure as it generates OTPs.

Maybe this is resolved, but I don't know what would happen if I lose my phone. I feel like it's a "single point of failure" for my day-to-day work. If there is a solution for that, I would love to be reminded about it from time to time.

Our company uses a lot of shared tools, and Okta makes accessing them so much easier. Instead of remembering multiple passwords, I just open Okta, search for the tool I need, and log in with a click.

From time to time, I’ll need to enter an OTP from Okta to authenticate, but that’s still far more convenient than having to manage all those passwords myself.

I like Okta because it's a really easy app to use, and it's fast and effective. I've never had any problems with it. I value the authorization technology and the mobile application I use to access it. The setup was incredibly straightforward and definitely faster than other similar products that I've used. I've probably had the least problems with it compared any other similar product.

I suppose on occasion, the codes that the authorization comes to are late, especially if I've tried to log in two times in a row. However, this a rare occurrence and is easy to fix.

On mobile devices, Okta does not support fingerprint authentication, which means I always have to enter my password and then use my Yubikey. If Okta enabled fingerprint authentication, it would save time and make the process more convenient.
