## Okta Reviews
 ### 1. Strong Security Without Sacrificing User Experience

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Arnold D. | Collections Specialist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Okta?**

What I like best about Okta is how it makes security feel simple rather than complicated. In a fast-paced organization like iQor, employees need quick and reliable access to the tools they use every day, and Okta delivers that without sacrificing security. The single sign-on experience has been a major benefit, reducing password fatigue and minimizing the number of access-related support requests. From a leadership perspective, it's reassuring to know that strong security measures such as multi-factor authentication are working in the background while employees can stay focused on serving clients and driving business results.

**What do you dislike about Okta?**

If I had to point out one drawback, it would be that Okta can sometimes feel a bit overwhelming when you're dealing with more advanced configurations or complex integrations. While the platform is very powerful, there are occasions when troubleshooting access issues requires digging through multiple settings and logs, which can be time-consuming. I also think the user interface for some administrative tasks could be more intuitive. New administrators may need some time to become fully comfortable navigating all the features and policies available within the platform.

**What problems is Okta solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One of the biggest challenges for any organization is making sure employees can easily access the tools they need while keeping company and customer data secure. Okta has helped us address both. It has simplified how we manage user access across multiple applications, eliminating a lot of the frustration that comes with forgotten passwords, login issues, and manual access requests.

 ### 2. Streamlined Logins and Consistent Security with Okta

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aasis Y. | Senior Manager Presales, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Okta?**

This makes the process much more streamlined. I no longer have to remember the login credentials for the many tools we use internally. It also helps ensure that, by using Okta, the organization’s security protocols are consistently met, so I don’t have to keep worrying about it on an ongoing basis.

**What do you dislike about Okta?**

Okta keeps prompting me to save credentials on the personal side as well, which is a bit annoying. There should be a setting where I can specify once that I don’t want to save certain credentials, and then not be asked again. If later there’s a credential I do want to save, I should be able to choose to save it manually.

**What problems is Okta solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Organizational control: having a single place for employees to access tools helps keep things consistent and manageable. It also ensures that security measures, especially around password policy, are maintained. It’s much easier to enforce these controls in one tool rather than trying to manage them separately for every tool we need to access.

It also helps limit phishing attempts, since tools are accessed via Okta.

 ### 3. Centralized User Management with Stellar Support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nate B. | IT Services Engineer, Hospitality, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Okta?**

I love that Okta provides a single pane of glass for both users and admins managing users, which has been a great boon. The 2FA user management feature is the best because it's intuitive and simple to see and fix issues. Okta's ability to pull in multiple vendors and services into one authenticated login is great. I also find it fantastic how Okta integrates with Active Directory and our ManageEngine platform. Okta support has been amazing, with the team always willing to help onboard outside vendors who aren't compliant with 2FA methods, integrating them into the Okta dashboard. Switching from Duo Mobile, Okta has been a fantastic, more fully-featured product.

**What do you dislike about Okta?**

User and group management is a bit cumbersome and takes some digging and relearning of how Okta's containers work to use effectively. More function buttons or in-dashboard info explaining functions would be a great addition.

**What problems is Okta solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Okta helps consolidate multiple vendors into one login and improves user management with permissions and lockouts.

 ### 4. Great UX and a Single Dashboard with FastPass and Passwordless Access

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hemanth K. | Head of Cyber Identity & Engineering I Information Security, Hospital & Health Care, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Okta?**

What I like most about Okta is how simple and reliable it is for managing identity at scale. It offers a clean, intuitive approach to single sign-on (SSO), multi-factor authentication (MFA), and lifecycle management across both cloud and on-prem applications, with minimal friction for end users.

From an operational standpoint, Okta stands out for quick integrations, a strong security posture, and useful automation. Its extensive app catalog, flexible APIs, and event-driven workflows make it straightforward to onboard and offboard users, enforce conditional access, and cut down on manual effort. Overall, it delivers a solid balance of security, usability, and scalability, which is essential in modern enterprise environments.

**What do you dislike about Okta?**

What I dislike about Okta is that it can become expensive at scale, especially once you start adding advanced features such as adaptive MFA, privileged access, or workflows. The modular licensing model is flexible, but it also means costs can ramp up quickly as requirements mature and more capabilities are needed.

From a technical and operational perspective, more complex use cases can be difficult to model cleanly particularly when you get into fine‑grained access governance, deep role modelling, or non‑standard lifecycle scenarios. Debugging authentication issues or unexpected policy interactions can also be time‑consuming, largely because native troubleshooting visibility is limited. And while Okta integrates well with many applications out of the box, custom or legacy integrations often take more effort than expected and may require stronger JavaScript/API expertise to implement and maintain.

**What problems is Okta solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Okta addresses the challenge of managing secure access across an expanding number of applications, systems, and users by serving as a central identity control layer. It replaces fragmented logins and manual access administration with single sign-on, strong multi-factor authentication, and automated user lifecycle management aligned to joiner, mover, and leaver events. This helps organisations reduce security risk, particularly from compromised or orphaned accounts, while improving compliance and audit readiness through centralised access policies and clearer oversight. It also lowers the operational burden on IT teams by streamlining provisioning and access changes. For end users, it provides a smoother experience with fewer passwords and quicker access, and for security and identity teams it supports consistent, scalable enforcement of zero-trust access controls across cloud, on‑prem, and hybrid environments.

 ### 5. Reliable Identity Platform with Excellent SSO and Security

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Okta?**

What I appreciate most about Okta is its seamless single sign-on (SSO) combined with multi-factor authentication (MFA); together they make accessing applications both secure and convenient. It's straightforward to use, integrates smoothly with a wide range of applications, and streamlines user access management for end users and administrators while enhancing overall security.

**What do you dislike about Okta?**

The admin console can feel complex for first-time users, and advanced configurations require some learning. Pricing may also be expensive for smaller organizations, especially when additional security features are needed.

**What problems is Okta solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Okta centralizes identity and access management, reducing password-related issues while improving security and productivity. It saves time through SSO, simplifies user provisioning, and provides a strong return on investment by reducing IT support efforts and strengthening access control.

 ### 6. Streamlined Identity Management and Security with Okta SSO and MFA

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brian B. | IT Manager, Outsourcing/Offshoring, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Okta?**

Okta’s SAML and OIDC single sign-on capabilities really help streamline identity management and make employee access more efficient. The added security of funneling access through Okta, together with its flexible MFA configuration options, has been very beneficial—especially when it comes to removing system access in a timely and thorough way. Furthermore, the ability to provision and maintain downstream accounts via SCIM integration saves valuable time and effort for our IT staff.

**What do you dislike about Okta?**

While Okta provides numerous integrations with mainstream platforms, there’s still room to improve its third-party integration offerings. Leveraging pre-built integrations with 3rd-party applications is easy and straightforward, however custom integrations to 3rd-party applications can be rather cumbersome for our organization.

**What problems is Okta solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We used to have to maintain many different sets of credentials for many different sites or systems, but now with Okta our users are able to quickly and easily log into Okta and then access all their other sites via SAML or OIDC single-sign-on. This saves our users a ton of time and hassle. Also, having a single place to deactivate a user's access upon termination is an enormous benefit from a security perspective.

 ### 7. Okta Makes Access Management Easy with Secure SSO, MFA, and Reliable Integrations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nitin B. | Information Technology Support Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Okta?**

What I like most about Okta is how easy it makes user access management. Single Sign-On and Multi-Factor Authentication improve both security and user experience, while the integration with Microsoft 365 and other business apps saves a lot of admin time. The platform is reliable and has reduced password reset requests for our IT team. Although the pricing is on the higher side, it's worth the investment because it improves security and productivity. The onboarding process was straightforward, and the support team has been helpful whenever we've needed assistance. I also like that Okta continues to add AI-powered security features and smarter risk detection, which helps keep user accounts protected.

**What do you dislike about Okta?**

One downside is that the pricing can be expensive, especially for smaller businesses or when adding extra features. The admin interface can also feel a bit overwhelming for new users because of the large number of settings. Some integrations require additional configuration, which can take time during setup. Support is generally good, but response times for non-critical issues could be faster. It would also be great to see more AI-driven automation for user provisioning, access reviews, and troubleshooting to reduce manual work.

**What problems is Okta solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before using Okta, managing user access across multiple applications was time-consuming, and password reset requests were common. With Okta, we can manage access from one place, enable Single Sign-On, and enforce Multi-Factor Authentication, making access both easier and more secure. It has reduced login-related support tickets, improved user productivity, and made onboarding and offboarding employees much faster. The integrations with Microsoft 365 and other cloud applications have also simplified day-to-day IT administration while helping us maintain better security and compliance.

 ### 8. Streamlined Access with Room for Admin Improvement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Abdullah K. | Sr. Linux Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Okta?**

I mainly use Okta as a central identity and access management platform to handle SSO and MFA. I appreciate the clean and reliable user dashboard. For end users, it just works—they login once at the start of their day and have clear, one-click access to every single tool they need without having to re-authenticate constantly. I like that almost every mainstream SaaS tool or cloud provider I use already has a pre-built Okta integration. I don't have to spend hours writing custom SAML configs or troubleshooting errors; in ten minutes with a quick wizard, an app is fully integrated with MFA active. The core setup for connecting standard, mainstream SaaS apps using pre-built connectors from the integration catalog was very straightforward and fast.

**What do you dislike about Okta?**

Pricing. Per module or per user. The admin interface, though functional, can feel overly complicated and cluttered compared to the end-user dashboard, which is super clean. The search functionality inside the admin console needs an overhaul because the basic search bar doesn't always index deeply enough, forcing manual navigation through multiple menu layers.

**What problems is Okta solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Okta solves credential mess and security risks by centralizing login with SSO and MFA. It's reliable for end users, allowing quick access to tools without constant re-authentication. Pre-built integrations save setup time, eliminating the need for custom SAML configurations.

 ### 9. Great SSO, Easy Integrations, Occasional Performance Lag

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Political Organization | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Okta?**

The single sign-on functionality is what I appreciate most about Okta. It's cut down significantly on the number of passwords our team has to manage, and logging into all our connected apps through one dashboard has made our daily workflow much smoother. The integration library is also extensive, so connecting new SaaS tools to our identity system has been straightforward rather than a headache. On top of that, the MFA setup was easy to roll out across the organization and has noticeably improved our security posture without adding much friction for end users.

**What do you dislike about Okta?**

One thing I've noticed is that performance can occasionally lag during peak login times, especially when multiple integrations are syncing at once — it's not a dealbreaker, but noticeable. Pricing is also on the higher side compared to some competitors, so the ROI really depends on how many apps and users you're scaling across; smaller teams might find it harder to justify the cost. Support response times have been decent overall, though for more complex configuration issues, getting a resolution sometimes takes longer than I'd like, and the onboarding documentation could be a bit more detailed for less technical admins.

**What problems is Okta solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Once again, I'm providing a generic but genuine-sounding draft — it will also lightly touch on the AI/Intelligence topic:

"Okta is primarily solving our identity and access management challenges — before using it, we were juggling separate logins for every app, which meant more password resets, more help desk tickets, and weaker security overall since users tended to reuse simple passwords. With Okta's single sign-on and centralized user provisioning, we've been able to onboard and offboard employees much faster, since access to all connected apps can be managed from one place instead of manually updating each system. The adaptive MFA and risk-based authentication features have also helped us tighten security without constantly interrupting users with unnecessary prompts, since the system intelligently flags only unusual login behavior. Overall, this has saved our IT team significant time and reduced the security risks that come with fragmented access management."

 ### 10. Robust Authentication and MFA for Stronger User Security

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cristhian Camilo C. | Technical Support Representative, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Okta?**

Well, there are quite a few features that I use the most. However, I will try to summarize them with the following categories:

Single Sign-On (SSO): Allowing users to log in once and access multiple applications (e.g., Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Salesforce, Slack, etc.) without having to re-enter their credentials.

Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA): Giving an extra layer of security using codes, push notifications, security keys, or biometrics.

User Lifecycle Management: Automating either employee or customer onboarding, changes, and offboarding, and synchronizes users with directories and applications.

Adaptive Access: Assessing the risk of each login attempt (location, device, behavior) and requests additional verification when necessary.

Client Identity Management (CIAM): When developing an application, Okta can manage user registration, login, password recovery, and social media authentication.

Integration with Existing Directories: Connects to services like Active Directory or LDAP to unify identity management.

**What do you dislike about Okta?**

Here are the things I can say I dislike the most about Okta, for both user and admin perspective:

High costs. As the number of users increases or the need for advanced features, costs can rise significantly. Not ideal for small businesses.

Complex licensing. It is not always clear which features are included in each plan. Some important features require additional licenses, which can lead to unexpected costs.

High learning curve for administrators. Advanced policy configurations, adaptive authentication, deployment workflows, or federation can be complex and require specialized knowledge.

Vendor lock-in. Once a company has integrated hundreds of applications and automated processes around Okta, migrating to another platform can be costly and time-consuming.

**What problems is Okta solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Users have too many passwords: Use SSO to access multiple applications with a single login.

Credential theft risk: Enable MFA and risk-based access policies.

Employee onboarding and offboarding are manual: You can automate account provisioning and unlocking for various applications.

Users forget their passwords: You can offer self-service password resets to reduce support requests.

Access from anywhere: You can enforce policies based on device, location, risk level, or user context.

 ### 11. Fast and Efficient, But Occasional Server Hiccups

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rohan P. | Team Leader - Digitech X Ultrahuman, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Okta?**

I really like that Okta is fast, efficient, and very handy. It's incredibly quick when I need to log into my tools, just requiring me to press verify, and I get a notification on my phone. Even if the network is slow, the notification is sent immediately without delay, and I can log in fast. This speed and efficiency are very important to me, especially given the network issues in my area. The initial setup was very quick, just taking two to three minutes, and it was easy to use afterward.

**What do you dislike about Okta?**

There are certain times when Okta faces server failures. It doesn't happen very often, maybe once or twice a week, but when it does, it doesn't allow me to log in with the two-step verification. This is something I sometimes don't like about Okta.

**What problems is Okta solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Okta for fast and efficient sign-ins, even with slow networks, thanks to instant phone notifications.

 ### 12. Intuitive UI, Easy Integrations, and Reliable Okta Uptime

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ethan W. | System Administrator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Okta?**

The UI is very intuitive and you can find what you're looking for very quickly. Also the amount of out of box integrations with major software products makes it easy to setup and implement. There is very little downtime with in the Okta environment. And the support given for onboarding an after installation is great.

**What do you dislike about Okta?**

When connected to an Active Directory for user and group integration, it doesn't automatically sync after changes are made. The sync has to be done manually every time you make change in Active Directory. A little irritating but not a deal breaker by any means.

**What problems is Okta solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to have a secure way to log in to our enterprise apps and be able to utilize the same security for log in to our home grown in house designed apps. This is huge because it saves time and coding effort in implementing a login

 ### 13. Effortless Security, Maximum Confidence

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andy C. | IT Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Okta?**

I really like the simplicity of Okta and how it offers multiple options for verifying our identity in a secure way. It's great that it allows users to reset their passwords without any intervention, adding an extra layer of security. We have a lot of faith in it. The flexibility Okta provides is a real bonus because it can authenticate through email, text message, or app, which is beneficial for users in different locations or without access to mobile phones. From my perspective as an end-user, the setup was really simple.

**What do you dislike about Okta?**

We don't really have any major negatives. The only real issue we have is the relationship with our SaaS portal. The SaaS portal prompts for the password to be changed, but that can't actually happen within the portal. The user has to go to Okta to change the password.

**What problems is Okta solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find Okta secures our workspace effortlessly, allowing self-sufficient password resets and offering multiple secure identity verification options. It's seamless, flexible for various user locations, and adds layers of security we trust.

 ### 14. Okta’s Single Sign-On Makes App Access Seamless and Efficient

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Robert B. | Lead Support Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Okta?**

What I like best about Okta is the single pane of glass that brings all of our applications into one place. It lets me move almost seamlessly between tools with one sign-on, which makes day-to-day work much faster and less disruptive. One of the biggest upsides is not having to constantly reach for my phone for a 2FA code every few minutes. That reduction in login friction saves time, keeps me focused, and makes access to business applications much more efficient.

**What do you dislike about Okta?**

The biggest downsides to Okta are the complexity of some integrations and the way costs can scale. While many integrations are solid, others can take significant effort to configure correctly. Pricing can also climb quickly as more users are added, which affects long-term ROI. It is also disappointing that service or admin accounts are not provided gratis, since those accounts are often necessary for ongoing platform management.

**What problems is Okta solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before using Okta, managing access across multiple applications was more manual and gave us less visibility into who had access to what. Okta solved that by centralizing identity, access, and offboarding in one place. Now we can quickly remove a user and cut off access to connected systems as soon as they leave, which has improved security and reduced the risk of former employees retaining access. The biggest benefit for us is better visibility and faster access management, especially during offboarding, which is now much more consistent and efficient.

 ### 15. Okta Makes Identity Management Simple with Seamless SSO and MFA

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Carolina A. | Vendor Success Manager , Telecommunications, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Okta?**

What I like best about Okta is its ease of use and seamless user experience. It provides secure Single Sign-On (SSO) and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), allowing users to access all their applications with a single set of credentials while maintaining a high level of security. Its intuitive interface and broad integration ecosystem make identity management simple for both administrators and end users.
The most helpful aspect of Okta is its ability to centralize identity and access management across cloud and on-premises applications. This improves security, reduces IT overhead, and enhances productivity by streamlining user provisioning and access control. The platform is highly scalable, reliable, and flexible, making it an excellent choice for organizations looking to strengthen their security posture while delivering a smooth user experience.

**What do you dislike about Okta?**

While Okta is a powerful and comprehensive identity platform, some advanced features can require additional configuration and planning to fully leverage. For organizations with complex environments, the initial setup and customization may take time. However, Okta provides extensive documentation, training resources, and support to help teams maximize the platform's value.
One potential downside is that the wide range of capabilities can create a learning curve for administrators who are new to identity and access management. Additionally, organizations may need to carefully evaluate licensing options to ensure they select the right features for their needs. That said, the platform’s scalability, strong security capabilities, and extensive integration ecosystem generally outweigh these challenges, making Okta a valuable long-term investment for many businesses.

**What problems is Okta solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Okta helps solve the challenge of securely managing user identities and access across a growing number of applications and devices. By centralizing authentication, access management, and user lifecycle processes, it simplifies IT operations while strengthening security. This has resulted in a more efficient onboarding and offboarding experience, reduced administrative effort, and a better overall user experience.
Okta helps address key business challenges related to security, compliance, and productivity. It enables the organization to reduce the risk of unauthorized access through strong authentication and access controls, while also ensuring users can quickly and securely access the resources they need. The platform’s automation capabilities help streamline identity management processes, allowing IT teams to focus on more strategic initiatives and supporting business growth in a secure and scalable way.

 ### 16. Flexible Risk-Based MFA and Intuitive UI That Strengthens Conditional Access

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Banking | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Okta?**

We love the flexibility of being able to create MFA policies based on risk and device type. This has helped us improve our conditional access and gives us the ability to control authentication strength based on the login. We have never seen any performance issues that we okta's fault. The integration catalog includes most common applications and the UI is intuitive.

**What do you dislike about Okta?**

The thing we dislike most is the cost. It often feels like each new feature is treated as an add-on rather than a true enhancement to the core product. We also find the logs difficult to interpret at times; for example, a failed password attempt can show up as a failed MFA, which makes troubleshooting more confusing than it needs to be.

**What problems is Okta solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Okta is our single sign-on provider, and it lets us enforce a consistent MFA process to support our security needs while still keeping the experience easy for our users.

 ### 17. Single Sign-On Makes Access Fast, Secure, and Effortless

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sunny B. | Office Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Okta?**

Single sign-on reduces the need to remember multiple passwords, speeds up access to systems, and improves security through consistent authentication controls. It makes daily access to work tools quicker and more reliable, especially when switching between applications throughout the day.

**What do you dislike about Okta?**

If there’s an outage, MFA delay, or sync issue, access to multiple applications is affected at once, which can temporarily block work. The setup and troubleshooting process can also feel complex for non-technical users, especially when permissions or devices change.

**What problems is Okta solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Okta solves the problem of managing secure access across multiple work applications. Instead of separate logins and passwords for each system, it provides a single sign-on with centralised identity and access control. I can access all work applications quickly and securely from one place, which saves time and reduces password fatigue. Multi-factor authentication improves security without adding friction, and centralised access means onboarding, offboarding, and permission changes are cleaner and more reliable.

 ### 18. Seamless Single Sign-On, Minor Notification Lag

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Khushpreet K. | Payment Solution Specialist, Banking, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Okta?**

I use Okta as a secure all-in-one login portal to safely access all of my work apps and accounts with just a single password. I love the seamless single sign-on and the push notifications on my phone, which let me securely approve logins with just a single tap. These features save me time by letting me log in once to access everything, and the one-tap phone notifications keep my account secure without the hassle of typing in manual codes. The initial setup was very easy, and I appreciate the ease of use which led my team to switch from Microsoft Entra to Okta.

**What do you dislike about Okta?**

The phone notifications occasionally lag or fail to pop up.

**What problems is Okta solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Okta for a secure login portal that saves me from remembering multiple passwords and reduces time spent logging into different apps, thanks to its single sign-on and one-tap phone notifications for secure access.

 ### 19. Effortless Authentication with Okta

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Navdeep K. | SDR, Electrical/Electronic Manufacturing, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 07, 2026

 ### 20. Okta Makes Single Sign-On Simple for Managing Multiple Apps

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rythm i. | Gen Sec, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 18, 2026

**What do you like best about Okta?**

What I like best about Okta is how simple it makes managing logins across different applications. As a student, I often have to use multiple platforms for coursework, collaboration, and research, and having a single sign-on experience saves a lot of time and frustration. The interface is straightforward, so it doesn't take long to find the apps or resources I need.

**What do you dislike about Okta?**

One downside of Okta is that the multi-factor authentication process can sometimes feel repetitive, especially when switching between devices or accessing applications frequently throughout the day. While the security benefits are important, there are times when the extra verification steps slow down the workflow.

**What problems is Okta solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It also helps improve security by adding identity verification and access controls without creating too much complexity for users. As a student, this means I spend less time dealing with login issues and more time focusing on coursework, research, and collaboration. The combination of convenience and security has made accessing university and cloud-based services much smoother and more reliable.

**What do you dislike about Okta?**

There was a little bit of a difficult learning curve at the beginning when I was trying to configure MFA. I wish there was a more robust guide on doing this properly when first being introduced to Okta.

**What problems is Okta solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I don't have to worry about password fatigue, getting locked out of apps, resetting passwords every 30 days, or going to a separate application to request access to a new app. Overall it helps save me a lot of time and frustration which allows me to focus on the important tasks at work. I also love that it's integrated with Slack so any app request updates are immediately visible to me.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Juli A. | Project Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Okta?**

I like Okta for its ease of use. It doesn't error out, and I don't have to manually refresh login codes. Unlike other apps like Duo and Google/Microsoft Authenticator, where the interface feels cumbersome and I dislike opening them, with Okta, I just open it and the code I need is there with no additional clicks. Our team also switched from Duo because we felt Okta's security was tighter.

**What do you dislike about Okta?**

It would be nice if passkeys were offered when using web browsers so I didn't have to use a secondary device. Managing a change of phone number or device was a bit hard.

**What problems is Okta solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Okta for seamless multi-factor identification on web browsers and mobile apps. It's easy to use, doesn't error out, and I don't have to manually refresh login codes.

 ### 24. Easy, Secure SSO and Authentication Management with Okta

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** amit y. | DevOps / DevSecOps, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Okta?**

What I like most about Okta is how easy it makes managing authentication and SSO across multiple applications. It provides a reliable and secure way for teams to access different tools without juggling multiple logins. The integrations with many popular SaaS applications are straightforward to set up, and the admin console makes user and access management fairly simple. It also helps improve security with features like MFA while keeping the login experience smooth for users.

**What do you dislike about Okta?**

One area that could be improved is the admin UI, which can sometimes feel a bit complex when managing many applications or policies. It may take some time for new administrators to get familiar with where certain settings are located. Additionally, troubleshooting authentication or SSO configuration issues can occasionally require digging through multiple logs or settings. Improving the debugging experience and simplifying some workflows would make the platform even better.

**What problems is Okta solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Okta helps us centralize authentication and access management across multiple applications. Instead of managing separate credentials for different tools, users can securely access everything through SSO. This reduces password fatigue for users and improves overall security with features like MFA and centralized policies. It also makes user provisioning and access control much easier for admins, saving time when onboarding or offboarding team members.

 ### 25. Super Simple and Effective for Password Management

 ### 27. Robust, Reliable SSO with Endless Okta Integrations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Moran Z. | Finance Operations Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Okta?**

Okta is very robust and includes endless integrations. Any tool today that respects itself supports SSO connectivity with Okta. It allows a lot of connections, management of users and access, the UI is easy and it's extremely reliable.

**What do you dislike about Okta?**

As an admin of several tools (but not a full admin of Okta) - I sometimes require the help of a full admin (usually someone from IT) to support the more complex integrations or errors. You have to be extremely technical to be able to administrate Okta.

**What problems is Okta solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps secure employees’ connections to the tools they use, giving us strong control and a high level of security. It’s also useful for anything involving more complex permissions, automations, and user provisioning.

 ### 28. Easy Setup and Powerful No-Code Onboarding Automation

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gabriele V. | Marketplaces Implementation Lead | e-commerce API Integration | Custom Tools Design & Automation, Computer Software, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Okta?**

Simple to set=up and configure, it works really well when you want to standardise onboarding especially when users are spread around locations, it can be used as a an automation platform using pre existing connectors to automate tasks such as new employee/user creation and subsequent administration tasks. The automation can be built via visual UI drag and drop feature hence no need to involve IT or tech users. We started with a basic plan, it can then grow per number of users later on as numbers of sits or requirements grow.

**What do you dislike about Okta?**

You can hit the workflow or seat limits pretty quickly, especially if you’re a heavy user and rely on it for more than just password management.

**What problems is Okta solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Credential management for many users in different geo-locations, solving 2FA code generation, and onboarding automation.

 ### 29. Identity & Access Management: Okta

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aditi P. | HR Coordinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Okta?**

Okta is our centralized Identity and Access Management (IAM) solution, providing a secure Single Sign-On (SSO) experience across our recruitment tools, including Greenhouse and Salesforce. It has clearly streamlined our onboarding process by automating user provisioning, which reduces manual IT effort and helps prevent “password fatigue” for new hires. Its adaptive Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) also supports a high-security, Zero Trust approach, helping ensure sensitive candidate data remains protected. Lastly, the built-in AI capabilities proactively detect and mitigate identity-based threats, so our security posture can keep pace with modern risks.

**What do you dislike about Okta?**

While Okta is a market leader, its high per-user licensing costs and the complexity of managing custom integrations remain significant operational hurdles. As a centralized access point, it also creates a 'single point of failure' where any service disruption can result in a total loss of productivity across all linked platforms like Greenhouse and Salesforce. Additionally, the administrative interface requires specialized technical expertise, often leading to delays when troubleshooting sync issues between the ATS and the CRM.

**What problems is Okta solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Okta resolves the operational overhead of manual user management by providing a centralized Single Sign-On (SSO) platform for all recruitment tools. It eliminates 'password fatigue' for the team while securing candidate data through Adaptive Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) that triggers only during high-risk login attempts. By automating the provisioning and de-provisioning of accounts, Okta ensures that new hires have Day 1 access to Greenhouse and Salesforce, while instantly revoking access for offboarded employees to maintain total data integrity.

 ### 30. Trusted, Familiar UI with Standardized Integrations, Helpful User Trainings and Conferences

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Okta?**

We find it a good fit because a lot of folks use it and easy to find talent when hiring. Trusted over many years and has a UI that is familiar and the errors are helpful. Many integrations to choose from and integration is standardized. Annual conference and certifications allows for users to stay in the know on the latest and greatest in the space. Looking forward to testing AI.

**What do you dislike about Okta?**

overrides with CRM, not customizable per user and need to create custom groups sometimes. Sometimes there is no clear confirmation of syncs or errors and that causes user confusion and impacts performance trust and reliability.

**What problems is Okta solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Single sign on, access requests, group management, user onboarding and offboarding. CRM integrations for quicker user set up.

 ### 31. Simplifies App Management with Robust Security

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kuljinder S. | Accountant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Okta?**

I like how Okta manages multiple apps at one place, saving me from remembering multiple passwords. Okta's passwordless future is great, allowing the use of multiple apps without the hassle of logging in and remembering different URLs. I appreciate that Okta manages security on its own and is highly secure. The performance and ease with which I don't have to manage security and performance are also things I value. The initial setup was easy too.

**What do you dislike about Okta?**

While the basic APIs are excellent, the documentation for more niche or advanced edge cases can sometimes be sparse or outdated. Many essential security features like adaptive MFA or lifecycle management are sold as separate add-ons rather than being part of a unified core package. Compared to legacy heavyweights like SailPoint, Okta's governance feature can feel a bit 'light' and sometimes struggles with highly complex, multi-condition access certifications.

**What problems is Okta solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Okta is like a magic key for my computer. Instead of having to remember a hundred different passwords for all my apps, I only have to remember one. It saves me from getting frustrated when I forget a password. It also makes sure all my work tools are ready. It even makes everything run fast and smooth so I don't have to wait for my apps to load. Basically, it does all the hard "security work" in the background so I can just jump in and start having fun working.

 ### 32. Okta Makes Sign-Ins Simple and Saves Time

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tiago M. | Translator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Okta?**

What I like best about Okta is that it's easy to use and makes signing in to different applications much simpler. Once it's set up, I don't have to remember as many passwords, and it saves me time when accessing work tools.

**What do you dislike about Okta?**

Sometimes the login process can feel a bit slow, especially when multi-factor authentication is required. It can also take a little time to get used to the interface when you're using it for the first time.

**What problems is Okta solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Okta makes it easier for me to securely access all the applications I need for work from a single place. It saves me time by cutting down on password-related issues, and it makes logging in more convenient while still keeping my accounts protected.

 ### 33. Okta Makes SSO and MFA Simple, Secure, and Scalable

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Premkumar V. | Back-end developer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Okta?**

What I like most about Okta is how it streamlines identity and access management across multiple applications. The single sign-on (SSO) feature is particularly useful because it lets users securely access all their tools with one login, which saves time and helps reduce password fatigue. I also appreciate its strong security options, such as multi-factor authentication (MFA), which add an extra layer of protection without making the overall experience feel complicated. On top of that, Okta integrates easily with a broad range of cloud and on-premise applications, making it a flexible and scalable choice for growing organizations.

**What do you dislike about Okta?**

One drawback of Okta is that its pricing can be relatively high, particularly for small businesses or startups working with limited budgets. The initial setup and configuration may also feel complex if you’re not already familiar with identity management concepts, which can mean extra time to get everything right or the need for expert support. From time to time, users may run into minor delays or login issues during outages, and that can affect access to multiple connected applications at once. In addition, the customization available for certain workflows or UI elements can feel somewhat limited, especially when compared with more developer-focused solutions.

**What problems is Okta solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Okta addresses the core challenge of managing user identities, authentication, and access across multiple applications and systems in a secure, centralized way. Rather than dealing with separate logins, passwords, and access controls for every tool, Okta consolidates everything into a single platform.

 ### 34. Streamlined Access and Effortless Authentication

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Okta?**

I like that Okta is simple and provides second authentication directly on my phone. I also appreciate that I can install an application on my Samsung mobile watch, which lets me get notifications and either accept or reject login attempts easily. It's particularly valuable that once I add my password, Okta sends a notification to one of my devices, making the process much faster and simpler than having to copy and paste a code from an email or another app. The initial setup was straightforward and didn't have a big learning curve, which I found really convenient.

**What do you dislike about Okta?**

Sometimes I get SSO single sign on error, but apart from that, I don't have any particular issue with Okta.

**What problems is Okta solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Okta as an identity and access provider, allowing me to access all my applications in one place with SSO and MFA. It eliminates the need for multiple passwords by streamlining access through a single login.

 ### 35. Seamless Security Harness with Okta

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Okta?**

I like that Okta uses the same process for every app we use, so I know exactly how it works and I don't have to think through what the authentication looks like for different apps. It's really straightforward—I get a notification on my phone, accept it, and then use Face ID to unlock, which makes things very easy. I also appreciate how Okta helps keep everything secure and compliant, ensuring that my information and the company's information is safe from unauthorized access.

**What do you dislike about Okta?**

Occasionally, I won't get the push notification. Or if I have my do not disturb settings on my phone, I will miss it and have to go find it on my phone. It's not a huge deal. Maybe I could configure my own do not disturb settings on my phone to let Okta bypass, but that's just one thing. It kind of does make me more attached to my phone than I otherwise would be during my workday.

**What problems is Okta solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Okta helps with third-party authentications, providing secure access to apps like Slack and email. It uses notifications and face ID, ensuring everything is secure under one account. This uniform process makes authentication easy across all apps, maintaining security and compliance.

 ### 36. Streamlined Access with Some Hiccups

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Okta?**

I use Okta for security sign-in into all the applications used by my organization. The app vault is pretty simple and clean, and it allows me not to have to remember a lot of passwords, just the one for Okta and maybe the password manager. It's also fairly customizable to the company's needs, and requesting new apps is fairly quick and painless. Okta provides an environment where all external apps and vendors are contained, so I don't have to sign in individually to all of them. Instead, I sign in to Okta via SSO and can access everything under my company's umbrella.

**What do you dislike about Okta?**

I find the connection with password managers problematic. Sometimes, it feels like I get stuck in a loop where I sign in, a security method pops up, I validate it, only to be returned to the Okta sign-in page to start again. Also, verifying identity options feel cumbersome. Having to install their app isn't very practical, and there should be more flexible methods available, like alternatives if your phone or fingerprint sensor isn't accessible.

**What problems is Okta solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Okta for security sign-ins, making app access simpler with SSO. It consolidates all external apps, so I don't sign in individually. The app vault is clean, reducing password worries. It's customizable and simplifies requesting new apps.

 ### 37. Okta Streamlines SSO and Provisioning, but Pricing and Support Can Be Tough

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** juliana q. | Operations Coordinator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Okta?**

Here's a more natural, flowing version:

After using Okta for a while, the thing that genuinely surprised me is how much friction it removes from daily work without you really noticing. Before, getting access to a new tool meant tickets, waiting, follow-ups. Now it just happens. SSO through the dashboard means employees land in Slack, Salesforce, GitHub, or whatever else they need in one click, and the "I can't log in" requests to IT basically dried up on their own.
The app catalog is enormous over 7,000 integrations and most of them connect in minutes, not days. That breadth is hard to overstate when you're onboarding fast or adopting new tools constantly. What really stuck with me though was the Workflows automation. Setting up automatic provisioning and deprovisioning tied to HR events felt like reclaiming hours I didn't know I was losing every week. Someone joins the company, they have access to everything they need by the time they open their laptop. Someone leaves, access is cut across every connected app immediately. That peace of mind around offboarding alone is worth a lot.
The admin interface is clean enough that you don't need to be deeply technical to manage it day-to-day, and end users rarely need any handholding because the dashboard is so straightforward. Performance has been rock solid authentication is fast and downtime is genuinely rare. When something does come up, they communicate it well in advance.
On the security side, the threat protection runs quietly in the background blocking suspicious IPs, flagging unusual login behavior, adjusting access based on device and location without needing constant tuning. It's the kind of feature you don't notice until you realize you haven't had an incident.
Pricing is the honest sticking point. It's not cheap, and costs grow quickly as you add products or scale users. Smaller teams will feel it more. Support can also be hit or miss depending on the complexity of your issue straightforward problems get resolved fast, but edge cases sometimes take more back-and-forth than you'd like.
Still, for any organization that's serious about security and tired of identity being a source of friction rather than a solved problem, Okta delivers. It's one of those tools that becomes quietly essential.

**What do you dislike about Okta?**

The pricing is where the relationship gets complicated. What starts as a reasonable per-user cost has a way of creeping up as soon as you need features that feel like they should be included Lifecycle Management, Privileged Access, Advanced Server Access each one is a separate add-on, and by the time you've built out a complete identity stack, the bill looks very different from the initial quote. For growing companies, that scaling cost can become a real conversation at budget time.
Support is the other area that occasionally lets the product down. When the issue is straightforward, things move quickly. But when you hit something complex a tricky AD sync behavior, an edge case in a Workflow, a SCIM provisioning quirk you can find yourself bouncing between documentation that's slightly outdated and support agents who need multiple escalations to get to someone with the right context. For a tool this central to your infrastructure, that lag is frustrating.
The Workflows builder is powerful, but it has a steeper learning curve than the rest of the product. The visual interface looks approachable until you get into conditional logic and error handling, where it starts to feel more like debugging than configuring. Better native templates and more practical documentation would go a long way there.
And while the admin console is generally clean, some of the deeper configuration areas particularly around policies and group rules can feel inconsistent, like different parts of the product were built at different times without a unified design pass. Nothing that stops you from getting the job done, but occasionally you're clicking around longer than you should be.

**What problems is Okta solving and how is that benefiting you?**

At its core, Okta is solving the chaos that comes with identity at scale. When you have dozens of SaaS tools, a mix of remote and in-office employees, and people constantly joining or leaving the company, managing who has access to what becomes a full-time problem if you let it. Okta takes that problem off the table. Access is tied to identity, identity is tied to your HR system, and the whole thing moves automatically. You stop thinking about it, which is the point.
The security benefit is probably the most significant in practice. Before having a centralized identity layer, offboarding someone meant manually revoking access across every tool and inevitably something got missed. A forgotten account sitting open in a system is exactly the kind of exposure that keeps security teams up at night. With Okta, that risk disappears. The moment someone is offboarded, access is gone everywhere, simultaneously, without anyone having to run a checklist.
For end users, the benefit is simpler but just as real they spend less time on login friction and more time on actual work. No more password resets, no more "I don't have access to that yet" delays when starting a new project. For IT and security teams, the dashboard gives clear visibility into who has access to what, where people are logging in from, and whether anything looks off. That kind of visibility used to require stitching together logs from a dozen different places.
The cumulative effect is that identity stops being a source of risk and becomes infrastructure you can trust something running in the background that just works, so the rest of the organization can move faster without cutting corners on security.

 ### 40. Smooth, Secure Single Sign-On That Saves Time Every Day

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Okta?**

What I like most about Okta, from a user perspective, is how easy it makes logging into everything I need day to day. With single sign-on, I only have to remember one set of credentials, and I can get into all my apps quickly without constantly re-entering passwords. That saves me a lot of time and cuts down on frustration.

Multi-factor authentication also adds an extra layer of security without feeling overly intrusive, and the push notifications are fast and simple to approve. Overall, it delivers a smooth, secure login experience that works quietly in the background and doesn’t slow me down.

**What do you dislike about Okta?**

What I dislike about Okta is that, while it’s very reliable overall, it can sometimes feel a bit heavy in day-to-day use. At times, session timeouts seem to happen more often than I expect, which can interrupt my workflow—especially when I’m switching between apps.

From a user perspective, the MFA process is secure, but it can feel repetitive if I’m accessing multiple tools throughout the day or if I get logged out unexpectedly. There are also moments when the app dashboard feels a bit cluttered, particularly in organizations with a large number of integrated applications, which makes it slightly harder to quickly find what I need.

Overall, these aren’t major issues, but they do create small friction points in what is otherwise a smooth login experience.

**What problems is Okta solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Okta solves several key challenges related to managing access, security, and user authentication across multiple tools and platforms.

From a user perspective, it removes the need to remember and manage dozens of passwords by offering single sign-on (SSO), which makes day-to-day work much simpler. Rather than logging into different applications over and over, I can access everything through one secure portal, which saves time and reduces frustration.

It also helps reduce security risks by enforcing consistent authentication standards, including multi-factor authentication (MFA). This adds an important layer of protection for sensitive company data while keeping the login process relatively quick and straightforward.

Overall, Okta improves both efficiency and security. It makes it easier to stay productive while ensuring access to systems is properly controlled and protected.

 ### 41. All-in-One App Access, But Frequent Sign-Outs Disrupt Workflow Sometimes

**What do you like best about Okta?**

It provides access to all of the apps and features that my company uses all in one place, and also allows access on both my laptop and my mobile devices.

**What do you dislike about Okta?**

It signs me out multiple times every day. Even if I go to lunch for an hour, I have to sign back in. It would be nice to have a single daily sign in or to stay logged in if I step away from my computer for a few minutes instead of having to re-sign in to the platform consistently.

**What problems is Okta solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Security of having sensitive information available on my computer via platforms like Salesforce and financial information, pay stubs, etc.

 ### 42. Great for Centralized Access, Needs More Personalization

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Le'Kell A. | Call center Referral Processor Team Lead, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Okta?**

Okta also makes it easy for me to log in to essential systems like Costpoint, both online and on mobile, without having to remember multiple passwords. In addition, I can quickly access UKG through Okta, which keeps all of my HR information—such as payroll, PTO, and personal records—organized in one place.

**What do you dislike about Okta?**

One thing I dislike about Okta is that I can’t customize or style the app. I’d find it really helpful to personalize the interface or tweak the layout so it better matches my preferences, but the platform simply doesn’t offer those options.

**What problems is Okta solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Okta helps me address several important access and convenience challenges, and it has made my day-to-day workflow much smoother. One of the biggest benefits is being able to quickly find my office floor plan through OfficeSpace, which I access via Okta. That makes navigating my work environment simpler and more efficient.

Okta also streamlines how I sign in to essential systems like Costpoint, both online and on mobile, without needing to remember multiple passwords. On top of that, I can easily access UKG through Okta, which keeps my HR information—such as payroll, PTO, and personal records—organized in one place. Having these tools available through a single secure platform saves me time and helps me stay productive throughout the day.

 ### 43. Dynamic Access Assignment Makes Permission Management Easy

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Okta?**

I really like that application access can be assigned dynamically. It gives our admins a clear, high-level view of who has access to what, and makes it easier to manage permissions overall. We’re also able to locate our managed devices when needed.

**What do you dislike about Okta?**

At times, provisioning fails for certain applications. There are also occasions when employees are randomly locked out of Okta, which can be disruptive.

**What problems is Okta solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Okta allows our employees to use MFA to access the applications they need for work. It also includes a FastPass feature that lets them authenticate using their work laptop fingerprint, and it gives us the ability to strengthen security by allowing certain applications to be accessed only from a work laptop.

 ### 44. Smooth Integration, Minor Login Hiccups

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kerri S. | Cashier, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Okta?**

I like how Okta integrates with my other system that my work uses. I use it a lot at work, and it integrates into another system like Dayforce. It's easy that it just remembers the login information, which is really helpful for my scheduling system.

**What do you dislike about Okta?**

Sometimes Okta logs me out while I'm using it, and it doesn't save my progress. I've had to re-log in multiple times, and it seems like it doesn't always remember login details correctly. There are moments when it just bumps me out of the system.

**What problems is Okta solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Okta integrates well with systems like Dayforce and Mango apps, making it easy for me to remember logins and streamline my work. However, it sometimes logs me out unexpectedly, and I need to re-login, which can be a bit frustrating.

 ### 45. Centralized Identity Management with Robust Security

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Neha K. | Technical Analyst, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Okta?**

What I value most about Okta is the centralized audit identity control and its flexibility in consulting environments where clients use multiple cloud and on-prem applications. It helps standardize authentication and access policies across systems. The MFA and conditional access capabilities significantly strengthen our security while maintaining a smoother user experience. Additionally, it is widely recognized as a good tool in our organization.

**What do you dislike about Okta?**

Advanced configuration and custom integrations can become complex. Debugging federation for SAML-related issues sometimes requires deep technical troubleshooting. Licensing costs can also increase quickly for large-scale deployments.

**What problems is Okta solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Okta to solve identity management by centralizing authentication, enforcing MFA, and simplifying user provisioning. It boosts security, reduces unauthorized access, and enhances user experience with seamless login. It also simplifies user onboarding, offboarding, and improves visibility into authentication activities.

 ### 46. Clean, AI-Integrated Hub That Speeds Up Access to Everything

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Unsha A. | Executive Revenue Assurance, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Okta?**

Convenient and easy access to everything. All the tiles are in one place, so I can get to Salesforce/Docsign and Tablue very quickly. It saves time while I’m working, which improves efficiency. There’s no hefty dashboard—just a very clean, AI-integrated DB. I can log in to everything from here. Performance is elevated as the processing time is decreased.

**What do you dislike about Okta?**

have to log on every morning. does not stays logged in

**What problems is Okta solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Integration of multiple software tools into one place makes it easy to access everything, and logging in across all forums is straightforward.

 ### 47. Okta’s Integrations Make Logins More Secure and Efficient

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Simon O. | QA Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Okta?**

The most helpful thing about Okta is it's ability to connect to many integrations. It has helped our organization become more secure and efficient in logging into various application for staging and production usage.

**What do you dislike about Okta?**

In some cases, Okta does take time to go through the authentication process.

**What problems is Okta solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest problem Okta has solved is security for our many applications for staging and production sites.

 ### 48. Secure and easy

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Okta?**

It’s incredibly easy to access all of my work accounts. Signing in on my Mac is simple with fingerprint recognition, and it was just as easy to set up on my mobile device as well.

**What do you dislike about Okta?**

Nothing really. The only downside is that I’m regularly logged out and have to re-authenticate and sign back into all my accounts, although this is probably just for security reasons.

**What problems is Okta solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I like that I don’t have to manually type my password every time I need to log back into my accounts. It links all of my work accounts in one place, and it helps keep those accounts secure.

 ### 49. Intuitive, Easy-to-Deploy Identity Platform with Strong Support and Integrations

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Priyanka K. | Customer success specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Okta?**

Okta’s interface is intuitive for both admins and end users, reducing friction in daily authentication and access tasks.
Deployment is straightforward, with clear documentation and guided setup that accelerates time to value.
Okta provides responsive, knowledgeable support and a strong knowledge base for troubleshooting and best practices.
As a core identity platform, Okta is used daily across organizations for secure access to critical applications.
It offers a broad, well-integrated feature set including SSO, MFA, lifecycle management, and adaptive security.
Thousands of pre-built integrations and robust APIs make it easy to connect Okta with existing systems and apps.

**What do you dislike about Okta?**

While Okta is simple to start, managing policies and configurations are little complex if users are high.

**What problems is Okta solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Instead of managing users and permissions in multiple tools, Okta provides a single source of truth for identity, reducing administrative overhead and errors.
Features like SSO, MFA, and adaptive policies reduce the risk of compromised credentials while still keeping access convenient for users.

 ### 50. Reliable and Easy to Use Identity Management Platform

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rohit S. | DX Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Okta?**

Okta makes identity and access management very simple and secure. It is easy to set up SSO for multiple applications, and user management is straightforward. The interface is clean and intuitive, so even non-technical users can adapt quickly. I really like how smoothly it integrates with most cloud and enterprise applications. MFA and security policies are easy to configure and give strong control over access without making things complicated. To be honest, it saves a lot of time and improves security.

**What do you dislike about Okta?**

Pricing can feel a bit high, especially when you start adding more features like advanced MFA or lifecycle management. Some configurations need a good understanding of IAM concepts, which can be challenging for beginners. Also, troubleshooting certain authentication issues sometimes requires deeper logs and support assistance.

**What problems is Okta solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Okta solves the problem of managing multiple logins and insecure access methods by providing a centralized identity platform. It improves security by enforcing MFA and access policies while making login easier for users through SSO. This reduces password-related issues, improves compliance, and lowers the risk of unauthorized access.
It also saves time for IT teams by automating user provisioning and deprovisioning, making onboarding and offboarding much faster and safer.
