We recently worked with Freyja and the Okendo team on creating a new hair quiz for our website, and the entire experience was amazing from start to finish.

The Okendo team as a whole was such a pleasure to work with - organised, collaborative, and genuinely invested in delivering a great result. We’re so happy with how the quiz turned out and really appreciate all the time, care, and effort that went into bringing it to life.

Our hair quiz on our website hadn't been updated in a few years and the Okendo team worked with us to create a great new quiz. Freyja led the project and was incredibly patient, understanding, and attentive throughout the whole process. She really took the time to understand exactly what we wanted and was always happy to make any changes or refinements along the way.

**What do you like best about Okendo?**

What stands out most to us is how reliable and intuitive the platform is. As a brand that prioritizes sustainability and a clean aesthetic, we needed a way to showcase social proof without it feeling “cluttered” or distracting. Okendo lets us shape the review experience so it feels premium, stays streamlined, and aligns closely with our brand ethos.

**What do you dislike about Okendo?**

If I had to nitpick, I’d say the onboarding process felt a bit drawn out. It was stretched across several calls when it probably could have been condensed into two: one to align on brand intent and technical requirements, and a second to walk through and review the final implementation.

**What problems is Okendo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest win for us has been a noticeable drop in our return rate. By featuring detailed customer reviews and photos directly on the product page, shoppers get a much clearer sense of fit and quality before they purchase, which has helped set expectations more accurately.

**What do you like best about Okendo?**

Adding the Performance Insights dashboard has been a huge upgrade for us. It’s very user-friendly, and it lets me combine their high-level sentiment data with our own internal metrics so I can make customer experience decisions faster.

**What do you dislike about Okendo?**

I really wish the platform offered more native analysis around specific review themes. Right now, I have to export our review data and run it through a separate AI tool just to identify recurring topics or product-specific complaints. A built-in “theme engine” that could automatically cluster feedback into clear categories like “fit,” “durability,” or “packaging” would save me a lot of manual effort and make it much easier to spot patterns quickly.

**What problems is Okendo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has fully automated our review collection, which used to be a major manual burden for our marketing team. By streamlining the feedback loop, we can uncover customer insights much faster and then use that data to guide both future product development and our ongoing marketing campaigns.

**What do you like best about Okendo?**

It’s been a huge help in optimizing our entire marketing stack. Having our loyalty program, customer quizzes, and surveys all managed through a single dashboard has really simplified our overall strategy. The team is also incredibly quick to respond whenever we run into a technical snag, and the integration with our existing SMS and email tools works exactly as promised.

**What do you dislike about Okendo?**

The migration process for our loyalty members was pretty frustrating. We ended up losing a lot of historical data on existing customers. Now we can’t see the specific ways they earned points in the past, or their detailed transaction history from before the switch. It feels like we’ve lost part of the “story” behind our most loyal shoppers, which makes it harder to understand their history and engagement over time.

**What problems is Okendo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has done a great job of centralizing several tools that used to feel disjointed for us. Rather than juggling separate apps for reviews, surveys, and loyalty, we now have everything in one place. This has streamlined our internal team’s workflow and made day-to-day coordination much cleaner. It’s also created a smoother, more consistent experience for our customers whenever they interact with our brand.

At Pistakio, we’re really focused on our brand identity, and Okendo gives us the level of customization we actually need. We’re able to match our brand fonts and colors across every review request email and widget. That consistency makes the entire post-purchase experience feel like it’s coming directly from us, rather than a generic third-party service, which was a huge sticking point for us.

**What do you dislike about Okendo?**

I don’t have many complaints about the core review features. The main issue is that our referral program hasn’t really gained much traction so far. We may still be in the early stages or need to adjust our messaging, but it hasn’t delivered the quick results I was hoping for when we first set it up.

Our biggest issue was that our previous reviews felt disconnected from our store’s aesthetic. The biggest advantage for us has been how straightforward the integration is with our existing tech stack, especially Shopify and Klaviyo. The backend interface feels intuitive, so managing day-to-day tasks is efficient and doesn’t take extra effort. I also want to give credit to our onboarding specialist—they were extremely hands-on and helped get everything configured correctly from the start, which saved us a massive amount of technical headache during the initial setup.

**What do you dislike about Okendo?**

My biggest frustration is the limited customization available for the widgets. It’s often hard to make precise adjustments to button copy or the wording of questions, which ends up feeling restrictive when we’re trying to fine-tune our exact brand voice.

**What do you like best about Okendo?**

The most helpful part of Okendo is our customer success manager, she is super helpful if the team has any questions and she has lots of knowledge regarding our metrics/statistics for Assembly Label. I like the product grouping feature of okendo, where we are able to display reviews and have control of the reviews that display on products.

**What do you dislike about Okendo?**

The only negative experience I had with Okendo was with a previous customer success manger, where we had sent her a request to group products, but then later discovered that this had not been actioned. To fix this issue, I have now been manually grouping products across all 3 of our sites.

Okendo is a great way to moderate and accept/decline reviews that we want to see on products. The platform is very streamlined and easy to use

**What do you like best about Okendo?**

Okendo's email sequences convert well, making it easy to engage our audience effectively. It also simplifies the process for us to moderate and parse through reviews, which is a big help. The initial setup was very easy, which was a great relief. Overall, Okendo serves multiple purposes like efficient review collection, understanding product sentiment, conducting surveys, and capturing repeat revenue, which are all crucial for our marketing efforts for a DTC ecommerce brand.

Additionally, other Okendo products like review attributes and product quizzes add significant value, offering broader use cases for capturing zero party data which allows us to utilize this across other touch points in our lifecycle program.

Finally, Okendo's customer success team is second to none. Their team is always here for us no matter the inquiry. I have worked with Okendo from both the agency and brand side, and the experience has been excellent in both domains.

I think Okendo could have a better styling/design interface for email sequences/review requests.

The platform makes it very easy for our team to manage reviews day-to-day. From moderating and publishing content to organising reviews for different product categories. The ability to customise review widgets and display formats has been especially valuable, as it’s allowed us to align everything seamlessly with our new site design without needing heavy developer support.

It’s also improved our workflow significantly, tasks can be handled quickly in-platform, saving us time each week and allowing us to be more agile with updates.

An unexpected benefit has been how much flexibility there is to grow into more advanced features over time. As our needs evolve, we’ve been able to explore new ways to leverage reviews across the site, which makes it feel like a long-term solution.

**What do you dislike about Okendo?**

While our overall experience has been very positive, there are a few areas where Okendo could improve.

The analytics and reporting functionality can feel somewhat limited, particularly when trying to extract deeper insights or customise dashboards for more advanced analysis. 

Having more flexible filtering and more actionable data built directly into the platform would make it easier for our team to make quicker, data-driven decisions without relying on external tools.

Overall, these aren’t major blockers, but improvements in these areas would make the platform even more efficient for us.

Before using Okendo, we struggled with efficiently collecting, managing, and leveraging customer reviews at scale. Reviews were either underutilised or required manual effort to organise, moderate, and display effectively across the site.

We’re now able to automate review collection through post-purchase flows, centralise all customer feedback in one platform, and easily surface high-quality content (including attribute-based reviews) across key touchpoints on-site. This has significantly streamlined our workflow and reduced the need for manual intervention.

As a result, we’re able to collect more reviews consistently and use them more strategically, helping to build stronger customer trust.

Onboarding was genuinely smooth - the Okendo team jumped in and bulk-configured most of the setup for us, which saved significant time. The backend is well-structured and easy to manage, and the integration into our Shopify stack was straightforward. Support has been responsive and proactive throughout.

**What do you dislike about Okendo?**

Nothing major - if I had to nit-pick, theme and keyword extraction from review content (beyond the sentiment categorisation) would help pull more strategic insight from the data. Widget customisation also still requires support rather than being self-serve, but the team is quick to make updates

**What problems is Okendo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Previously we were on another reviews provider that had basically stopped working. Review requests weren't sending and nothing was displaying on our PDPs, so we had no social proof live on site for months. Okendo gave a straightfoward solution for this and had it integrated and running within a matter of weeks. We were also able to keep the entire review process on brand which matters a lot for us.

We use Okendo for loyalty, reviews, referrals & quizzes and I can't recommend them enough. 

The ease of implementation and integration were a breeze - it plugged right into our Shopify setup and plays perfectly with our other platforms like Klaviyo. The team also did a brilliant job migrating us over from another platform for loyalty.

The real magic is how it’s boosted our conversions. By letting customers get specific about quality and sizing in reviews, it’s built massive trust and reduced buyer hesitation. Plus, their customer success team is top-tier; they’re proactive and helpful. For a platform that’s well-priced and always rolling out new features, it’s a total win.

**What do you dislike about Okendo?**

They are always rolling out new features, and because the platform is so feature-rich, it’s actually easy to miss an update and realise we’re late to the party on a great tool. 

We’ve definitely had moments where we weren’t taking full advantage of the tech simply because we didn't know it had launched yet! However, now that we’re working with our new CSM, that’s much less of an issue - we’re finally getting the heads-up we need to stay ahead of the curve.

I have been doing E-Commerce for 20 years and have dealt with many review platforms. Whether it was Bazaar Voice, Yotpo, Power Reviews their customer service is horrific. I inherited Okendo when I changed jobs and expected the same.  Okendo’s support has been exceptional. I have been shocked with how supportive, responsive they are. They are also really keyed into what matters. After years of fighting for to get support from a review platform it has been a pleasant surprise.

**What do you dislike about Okendo?**

I am a little concerned about how the pricing scales with volumes but they have been very supportive in helping me find solutions and the best fit so that concern may be mitigated in the futures

**What problems is Okendo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They have helped me find the best products and package for our current sales volume. They have also made me aware of several functions that will increase conversions that we have not been using.

What I appreciate most is how responsive the customer support team is. When I run into a technical roadblock, I’m not stuck waiting days for a generic ticket reply; I can actually get someone on the line who understands my specific setup and helps me move forward. The platform itself is clean, straightforward, and easy to navigate.

**What do you dislike about Okendo?**

Honestly, the referral and survey modules have been a bit hit-or-miss for us so far. We haven’t seen the level of traction we initially expected, which has been a bit frustrating.

Okendo solved our core issue of review fragmentation. Before using it, our customer feedback was scattered across multiple platforms, which made it really difficult to manage and to display in a consistent way.

Everything about the reviews package has been top-notch. The customer service is exceptional—whenever we’ve needed a specific adjustment or technical support, the team has responded right away and delivered what we needed.

One area where I’d love to see improvement is in Okendo’s incentive structures. We recently decided to shift our rewards toward a cashback model, but Okendo currently only supports a points-based loyalty structure, which limits how we can set up incentives.

**What do you like best about Okendo?**

I appreciate how Okendo helps us gather customer reviews and display them on our e-commerce site, which has been great for building trust with potential buyers. I like that Okendo integrates with most of the tools we use like Shopify, Klaviyo, and Recharge. This makes it easy to get direct data, utilize our own email designs with Klaviyo, and helps in increasing LTV and AOV through subscription integrations with Recharge. Keeping everything within one ecosystem makes things super easy and seamless, especially knowing that the data we gather connects directly with Okendo and Klaviyo. I also found the initial setup of Okendo very easy.

**What do you dislike about Okendo?**

It's a super robust platform, and it has a lot of things to offer. But what it does lack is information on how to set different things up. I had to book a call with an expert to get some things explained and learn about different things I didn't know, like the integration directly with Klaviyo. So that is something that could be fixed. More information on how to use the platform itself.

Okendo helps us gather reviews, build trust, and integrate with Shopify and Klaviyo for seamless data flow and custom email design. It supports subscriptions with Recharge, boosting LTV and AOV.

**What do you like best about Okendo?**

I use Okendo for product reviews and surveys and really appreciate its ability to handle any request, big or small, which is great for making suggestions and provides accurate instructions. I find Okendo very easy to use and love the visible results it provides. The analytics are fantastic and easy for our customers to use. I also like that we can upload product reviews online, which helps customers make informed decisions for their orders.  We also enjoy working with our CSM - Freyja Hansen. Freya is our favourite CSM and we look forward to our calls. Frejya is super helpful and responsive with any questions, and make appropriate suggestions on how we can improve our offering. She is a joy to work with.

**What do you dislike about Okendo?**

The only thing I would suggest is more customization on design of surveys - it would be great if we could adjust font size.

**What do you like best about Okendo?**

I like Okendo's integration with Klaviyo because it makes the emails sent out feel native to our brand. This helps with trust from customers and increases the likelihood that they will complete the reviews. I also appreciate the automated structure Okendo has built for capturing reviews, as it allows us to utilize reviews much more easily than our old manual setup. The automated email flow in the back end of Klaviyo is also very easy to use and manage. Additionally, I felt that Okendo offers a better connection with Shopify and Klaviyo, which provides us with a more seamless experience for our customers.

**What do you dislike about Okendo?**

When we were setting up Klaviyo, there were a limited number of features we could customize, leading to the emails looking different from our brand. I wanted to change the star icon used in the email and on the review form but couldn't. We couldn't change the font of the reviews on site, so they look different from the rest of the text on the page. We're a minimal brand and often found we could like things to be smaller but were unable to do so. It was quite difficult as it took a lot of time from our initial onboarding to the final setup, mainly due to the limitations in areas we could fully customize. We also felt there was a long delay in our account manager answering emails and getting back to us on important questions.

I use Okendo for reviews and referrals. It's very easy to use and intuitive to set up. Reviews are grouped per product, making them easy to access. Customers receive a fully-branded email after their purchase, and we can set up flows to remind them to review us if they don't do it right away. The reviews look great on our product page and have everything we need, including photos. I appreciate that we can personalize all the touch points with our customers and add our branding to them, so everything we send out feels very Pistakio-ey. We're really particular about our brand identity, and Okendo allows us to add our brand colors and fonts to every touchpoint, which is extremely important for us. We switched from Klaviyo reviews to Okendo because Klaviyo didn't offer all the customization that Okendo has, which we were looking for.

**What do you like best about Okendo?**

I like how Okendo brings multiple customer insight tools into one platform, making it easy to collect feedback, generate social proof, and use customer insights all in one place. The Reviews feature is great for collecting authentic customer feedback and photos that we can use as social proof on our website and in ads. It's reassuring for customers to know others have purchased, which builds their confidence in their purchases. The Surveys tool is very helpful for making product development decisions and understanding what people are looking for. I also like the Referrals feature because it allows our customers to be brand advocates by sharing their love for the brand and products. It's amazing how these tools make it simpler to turn insights into actionable items like gaining social proof and leveraging it across platforms.

**What do you like best about Okendo?**

What I like best about Okendo is how seamlessly it turns our customer feedback into a true growth engine for our brand. First, Okendo makes sorting through our collection of reviews incredibly easy Another standout feature is the level of customization. The review widgets are modern, clean, and highly adaptable to match our brand’s look and feel. Okendo integrates smoothly into a storefront and as an administrator I enjoy the easy access from our Shopify platform. Finally, the analytics and insights are genuinely actionable. Okendo doesn’t just show star ratings; it surfaces trends, customer sentiment, and product-specific insights that helps us make informed decisions with our products.

There is nothing at the moment that I dislike about Okendo.

**What problems is Okendo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Higher conversion rates, especially those with photos and videos. This means more people complete purchases. Actionable product insights by seeing patterns in feedback and respond strategically. Efficient workflows, Okendo replaces manual review collection with smart automation and them sending daily recap emails is helpful.

**What do you like best about Okendo?**

Okendo has done a great job helping us use optimize our loyalty program, quizzes, reviews, and surveys to help us further our marketing strategy and connect more with our customers. They integrate well with our SMS & Email partner and their team is extremely quick in offering any assistance with issues or errors.

**What do you dislike about Okendo?**

We ran into issues when importing loyalty customers and it's unfortunate how much information we lose on the data of our loyalty customers when switching. We no longer get to see how they earned their points in the past, or any detailed information on their history as a Calzuro loyalty customer.

**What problems is Okendo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Okendo is providing a better Loyalty program & review platform for us, as well as allowing us to set up quizzes and surveys, all in one place! It's optimized our in house workflow and our customer experience.

Okendo is user-friendly while still being powerful. It has made collecting and displaying reviews seamless, which in turn has helped boost customer trust and conversions. The integrations run smoothly, and the support from our account manager has been excellent.

**What do you dislike about Okendo?**

Overall, we’ve had a very positive experience with Okendo. The only minor drawback is that some of the more advanced features can take a bit of time to fully learn, but that feels expected for a platform with this much functionality. On the plus side, the support team is consistently helpful, which keeps the whole process smooth.

**What problems is Okendo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Okendo helps us streamline the collection and management of customer reviews and user-generated content, which would otherwise be time-consuming to handle manually. By automating this process, we can consistently showcase authentic customer feedback across our site, helping build trust and credibility with new customers.

I loved working with Okendo to set up our skincare quiz because it helps our customers provide information that guides them to a product recommendation. Okendo helps us build trust with our customers, and it was really easy to set up. The Okendo team helped us a ton when we initially launched with reviews and then later when we implemented our custom quiz.

There are some feature limitations or customization limitations that we can't manage ourselves and require the Okendo team to handle.

I love how Okendo seamlessly integrates with our Shopify and Klaviyo flows. This integration allows us to automate review request emails through Klaviyo, enabling us to target customers at the perfect moment post-purchase, which is incredibly efficient. On the Shopify side, the review display is both seamless and customisable, allowing us to maintain our brand aesthetic across product pages, which I find truly beneficial. Moreover, the initial setup of Okendo was straightforward and well-supported, making it easy to implement and get everything running quickly. Overall, these features truly enhance our operation and make managing customer reviews a breeze.

**What do you dislike about Okendo?**

I find the lack of deeper analytics and insights directly within Okendo to be a limitation. The information provided could be more actionable to help us make better data-driven decisions. Additionally, I think there could be more design flexibility with widget customisation. A more intuitive drag-and-drop editor or built-in style presets would make it easier to customise the display while maintaining our brand aesthetics.

**What do you like best about Okendo?**

I use Okendo to collect reviews from my customers and display them on my ecommerce store, and I really appreciate its user-friendly UI. It solves the problem of review collection with automated flows, which makes the process smoother for me. What I like most about Okendo is that it has all the necessary features like review import, automated collection flows, and review moderation, and they're designed to be easy to use.

**What do you dislike about Okendo?**

I'm a bit frustrated that there's no way I can send manual discount codes for reviewers. Also, when reviewers leave a review directly on our store, not through Okendo, I can't use Okendo to generate and send a review incentive discount code to them.

**What do you like best about Okendo?**

I think everything on the review package is top notch. We've got great customer service; every time we needed something, we get it. We have optimization calls very frequently. I'm also impressed that Okendo keeps bringing up new stuff. The way we can display the reviews on the sites in a very comfortable way is a plus, and you can check reviews for each and every item, sort them, and have tags for customers, which makes it easy for them to check on reviews.

**What do you dislike about Okendo?**

We decided to go with cashback, and Okendo doesn't have cashback. We only have point structure. Loyalty programs. So, yep. That's one thing. You can work on improving on the short term.

**What problems is Okendo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Okendo to comfortably display and sort reviews on our site, making it easy for customers to check reviews.
