The detail and accuracy of the performance reports are fantastic. It's the perfect bridge app between our platform devs and other team members that might not have the same access to troubleshoot or might be slightly less technical and need an easy tool to show where any issues might be.
I use it during deployments to monitor the change in performance and analyse any trends in performance lag.
Uptime reporting allows me to review even the small outages that might not have been spotted, and again monitor for trends.
Webhook alerts is mega useful, we have a few of these tailor set-up and pinging into Teams channels to get the right attention.
I also use the lighthouse reporting tools, it's good to have an alternative to Google's lighthouse reports, plus you get a full history of the reports to monitor the performance over time, which you don't get with Google.
I really like the ease of user management and the simplicity of cost, so we're not worrying about adding more users whenever I need someone to log in and check something for us.
OhDear is user-friendly, easy to set-up and onboard users, it presents technical details in a way that allows non-techies to understand it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
No 'dislikes' but some opportunities...
I'd like a feature to export all lighthouse metrics into an Excel/csv so I can track performance over time (only a small thing, but I currently do this manually). Even better, auto-update a Google sheet.
Auto-generated performance analysis. If we have a drop in performance, I'll tend to review all the date/time options to identify any trends in performance drop to help identify any anomalies and potential causes. It's be great to have a way to do this better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Oh Dear is one of those set-and-forget tools that you configure once, and then you hope to not be notified by them. Super reliable, love all those various checks that I can set up for my domains. It's not only site-is-down monitor, it's also cron, sitemaps, performance, lighthouse reports, status pages, etc.
I love that I can give access to others as well, good for reports.
Their support is also great, there were several occasions when I reported some bugs and they fixed them promptly, which is awesome.
And the configuration is very easy - you add the domain, and depending on some features send them an HTTP request, and that's it. Super easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I'm grandfathered on their older plan, and I wish I was able to switch to a yearly plan instead of monthly. Less invoices to handle :) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have a small business web site hosted at InMotion. Sometimes a customer would tell me they can't buy the product because the site is down. Oh Dear monitors the health of the site and notifies me when it goes down, then comes back up. I learned that my site goes down much more often than I thought, but never for more than a few minutes at a time. The notification email has an option to snooze, when there are too many events. I like the friendly tone of the messages. Setting it up was trivial, and I haven't had to do anything to keep it going. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
No downsides. It does exactly what I want, and is inexpensive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Oh Dear is not just a simple uptime monitoring tool - it is able to detect a multitude of proeblems with websites. As an agency, we love using Oh Dear to keep an eye on our customers websites and frequently look into Oh Dears reports. It is easy to integrate Oh Dear in our monitoring and notification infrastructure so we don't miss any issue. Customer support - even with technical problems - is top notch! I find Oh Dear's user interface a little cluttered at times. Mostyl the time-series grpahs / data visualization could use some work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Elegant status pages, it's always the first tool that notifies me when something goes wrong. It also gives feedback like when my websites load faster, which can also indicate that something is wrong.
It has much more features than I'm currently using, but everything has worked great so far. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The amount of monitors is a bit limited: while other services offer you a few monitors you can use, OhDear monitors your site and not so much specific other things as part as your website. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Oh Dear allows for easy site monitoring, whether it is uptime, performance (response times), scheduled tasks (are they actually running, and on time?) or more advanced application monitoring.
Integration with multiple notification channels (like Telegram, for instance) is great.
Super easy to implement, and very reliable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I am using Oh Dear for quite some time. I don't see any downside. It does exactly what it promises. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love being able to add a URL and have it pull through uptime, performance, certificate checks etc. The integration into Laravel + health monitoring is great. I don't use the status pages much, but I like knowing it's there for if a client asks.
The downtime alerts have become invaluable, alerting me to an issue before a client spots it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The pricing model isn't the best for me, I'm a freelancer and work with a bunch of different clients, however often sporadically. I'd like to be able to add more sites, however I don't have the budget that comes with that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Oh Dear was super easy to set up and the few times we've had an incident the response was speedy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's quite a simple product, but I actually like that it just has "one job" and that I can rely on it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Easy to use. There are no too fancy features but the base ones are perfectly covered. One of the most usefull feature for us is the application health monitoring, as we developped and used in all our project an open source Java library to expose different health keys to OhDear. Also we can get clean public monitoring page, available to our customers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
They should publish on their site the Java library we developped (ohdear-healthchecks) as it could help more people :-) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I enjoy the one stop shop for monitoring. Downtime alerts, dips in performance and those reminders for SSL certificates renewals. With multiple people being able to change DNS records it's good to be able to see those changes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I find navigating around troublesome sometimes. Not that it's slow or awful. I just find it's hard to find things sometimes on a cognitive load. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
