**What do you like best about OFX?**

Tim McKay and the OFX team have been a trusted part of how we manage international payments. We regularly move money between the U.S. and Italy, and the difference in rates compared to our bank is meaningful, especially at the volumes we operate.
What keeps us coming back is the combination of competitive exchange rates, fast and reliable transfers, and a platform that is genuinely easy to use. But the real differentiator is Tim. He is responsive, knows our business, and makes the whole process feel handled. When you are managing cross-border payments as part of running a company, you want a broker you can actually reach and trust. That is what we have with Tim.
If you are a business doing regular international wire transfers, OFX is worth a serious look

**What do you dislike about OFX?**

The dashboard reflects rates backwards to me.  I wish I could filp it.  Also, the graph is archaic.

**What problems is OFX solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Managing international payments between the U.S. and Italy used to mean dealing with bank wire fees, poor exchange rates, and no real visibility into what we were actually paying. OFX solves all of that. We get competitive rates, transparent fees, and fast transfers, which directly reduces our cost on every transaction. Having Tim as our dedicated broker means we are not navigating it alone. He tracks the market and gives us guidance on timing when it matters. For a small business moving money internationally on a regular basis, that kind of support has real bottom-line impact.

**What do you like best about OFX?**

I use OFX mainly for business payments and batch payments. In my experience, ABA files sent directly from the bank can sometimes be rejected or returned, but payments through OFX have been smoother and more reliable.

**What do you dislike about OFX?**

The main downside is the customer support experience. After the initial account manager support ended, it became unclear who to contact for ongoing issues. Most problems require calling and waiting in the phone queue, which can be frustrating.

Communication around system issues could also be much better. I once could not use my account due to an OFX system issue, but there was no clear notice on the website or by email. I only found out after calling support.

The OFX card service has also been disappointing. There is no tracking information for card delivery, so it is hard to know where the card is or whether it will arrive. Since each card costs $10, failed deliveries create a real extra cost. We have tried multiple times and still have not received some cards.

**What problems is OFX solving and how is that benefiting you?**

OFX helps us process business payments more smoothly, especially batch payments. Compared with sending ABA files directly through the bank, payments through OFX have generally been more reliable and less likely to be rejected or returned.

What I like most about OFX is how seamlessly it brings multiple parts of our financial operations together in one place. I use it regularly for payroll, bill payments, and other transactions, and it continues to be straightforward to use and dependable. I use OFX for all our company's payments, whether by card or ACH/Wire transfer. Partnering with OFX has transformed our financial operation, largely thanks to our dedicated account manager, Tsewang, who is always available, providing proactive advice and quick problem-solving. The OFX platform integrates flawlessly with QuickBooks, allowing us to manage accounting in real time without manual data entry. Bill automation saves us countless hours and prevents costly errors. For our large team, the capability to issue personal OFX cards and track expenses across multiple budgets directly in QuickBooks is invaluable. Since moving to the new OFX platform, our payment and accounting processes have never been simpler or more efficient. The initial setup of OFX was super easy, and I rate it a 10 for recommending it to others.

I like that with OFX I can make one payment to satisfy all the beneficiaries and know the exchange rate in advance. I also appreciate the personalized service I receive, as I've had the same account manager for many years and we understand how each other works. There is always advice and support if I need it, but usually transactions go through very efficiently. The initial setup was very straightforward as far as I remember.

There isn’t a strong, direct integration with QuickBooks Online.

What OFX solves: It reduces the high FX margins and hidden fees often charged by traditional banks.

How it benefits me: I save money on every USD↔CAD transaction, which directly improves my profit margins—especially when I’m making frequent international payments.

I like that the customer service is usually quick, and the new platform is user-friendly. I find the dashboard and the easy clicking to payments very beneficial. The direct payment method is great because funds reflect quicker in the OFX account now, compared to earlier when the payment team had to manually allocate funds. Also, the initial setup of OFX was easy.

It would be helpful to have a card linked to a USD account, as I have a lot of foreign software subscriptions but bank account direct debit is not an option, so there is still a conversion fee involved

Rates could be slightly be better. I have to ofter contact our manager to adjust the rates. Sometimes OFX is very competitive and then few months down the track other websites would be more competitive.

Communication levels has been poor in the past; that being said Jake is great and a huge asset, however when the transition from Firma to OFX come about we had to find out ourselves

The best part about using OFX is that they are spread across the world so we can transfer money to any country and they dont have any limits on the amount which we can transfer. Awesome experience using OFX.

Nothing much as a negative. It works so fluid. It is very secure and fast. Which makes the process of transferring funds fast and tension free. Till now havent faced any hick ups.

OFX makes it easy when it comes to international money transfer. The best thing is it has no limit on the amount which we can transfer. So there is  o tension of exhausting the limit.

One of the standout features of OFX is its competitive exchange rates and low fees, which has resulted in being cost effective for me. The company also offers a convenient and user-friendly online platform and mobile app, making it easy to manage transfers and track transactions. It's definitely a great product to use.

The potential drawbacks of OFX that I consider include the fact that it doesn't offer cash pickups or in-person transfers, which is sometimes required for my team. Overall there are nothing i dislike personally. I recommend using OFX

OFX is solving my problem of reducing high fees and unfavorable exchange rates that are often associated with traditional bank transfers or other money transfer services. It is offering me more competitive exchange rates and lower fees, which can ultimately ends up saving me money

I admire OFX from the user experience perspective and how it is easy to use with a smooth graphical interface, and how fast it is to send money without pending status.

**What do you dislike about OFX?**

Overall, I can find a point I shall consider as a con. However, my only complaint that OFX needs to be more compatible with more platforms to be more convenient.

When I traveled to Canada, I worried about finding a way to send money to my relatives easily without a complicated process. Thanks for the OFX recommendation  that let money transfer easy, quick and secured.

**What do you like best about OFX?**

The web interface and mobile apps work well, and the experience is consistent across all platforms. Once recipients are loaded, then making payments is easy. Funds transfer within a day or two, not immediately, but this is to be expected as you are using an intermediary.  The fee structure and email updates are very transparent. On the odd occasion the platform could not provide an immediate quote, I could call their help line and get an instant rate.

**What do you dislike about OFX?**

I have no complaints. The only "downside" is that it takes one business day extra to transfer funds. However, so long as you set reasonable expectations for recipients, this should not be an issue.

Paying suppliers who are based overseas. This has proven to be much cheaper than paying via telegraphic transfer

OFX placed no limits on how much money you can transfer or how often. There is no fee for transfer.

Only bank to bank transfer. No transfer by cash, credit card at retail location.

OFX is available globally over most of the countries. We can transfer money over 55 currencies.
