## Odoo ERP Reviews
 ### 1. Good ERP Platform for Managing Daily Business Operations

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Muhammad O. | Salesforce Business Analyst, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Odoo ERP?**

What I like most about Odoo ERP is how it brings different business functions together on a single platform. Managing sales, CRM, invoicing, and inventory feels much easier because everything is connected and accessible in a single place. The interface is clean, and once you get familiar with it, day-to-day work feels more organized, streamlined, and efficient overall.

**What do you dislike about Odoo ERP?**

One thing I don’t like is that some modules can take a while to configure properly at the beginning. New users may need extra time to get comfortable with the system, especially when they’re customizing workflows or setting up reports. At times it can also feel a bit overwhelming, simply because there are so many features available, and it takes a while to figure out which ones you actually need.

**What problems is Odoo ERP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Odoo ERP helps me manage multiple business operations in one place, rather than relying on separate tools for sales, invoicing, and customer management. It makes it easier to track workflows, cuts down on manual tasks, and keeps my data better organized. Overall, it saves me time and makes coordination across the team much smoother.

 ### 2. Database Shut Down Over Disputed Fee and Resulting Email Failures

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brian B. | President, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 11, 2026

**What do you like best about Odoo ERP?**

Odoo can be powerful when it is running, but our experience with billing, contract changes, database access, and urgent support has been extremely poor.

**What do you dislike about Odoo ERP?**

Odoo attempted to charge us a large unsupported-version surcharge that we dispute and do not believe we accepted. After we disputed it, our business database was closed/restricted. We paid under pressure to regain access. After restoration, our email fetch service began failing and Odoo support could not resolve it immediately. For a business-critical ERP, database access and urgent production support should not be handled this way.

**What problems is Odoo ERP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Odoo was intended to centralize our ERP operations, customer communications, email workflows, and business records in one system. In theory, that should create one source of truth and reduce manual work.

In practice, Odoo has not solved much for us recently. The benefits have been outweighed by serious billing, access, reliability, and support issues. Our database was shut down over a fee we dispute and do not believe we authorized. After access was restored, our email fetch service began failing and incoming emails were not properly flowing into the system. Odoo support acknowledged the mail process was failing/crashing, but the issue was not resolved immediately and had to be escalated.

At this point, Odoo is creating business-continuity risk instead of solving it. For a business-critical ERP, reliable database access, predictable billing, and urgent technical support are essential.

 ### 3. Unified, Modular ERP That Streamlines Workflows and Reporting

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chinecherem N. | Founder and CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Odoo ERP?**

What I like best about Odoo ERP is how it brings multiple business functions into one unified system without feeling overly fragmented.

The modular structure is a big advantage. I can use apps for CRM, accounting, inventory, and sales in one place, and they all connect smoothly. For example, turning a sales order into an invoice or tracking a customer from lead to payment happens within the same workflow, which removes a lot of manual handoffs between tools.

From a UI/UX perspective, it’s relatively clean and customizable. Dashboards and views can be adjusted to match specific workflows, which helps reduce clutter and keeps the most relevant data visible. Once familiar, navigation becomes efficient, especially when managing multiple operations.

In terms of workflow improvement, automation stands out. Tasks like invoice generation, follow-ups, and inventory updates can be automated, saving hours of repetitive work each week. This is especially valuable for small teams trying to scale without adding too much overhead.

Integration is another strong point. While not always perfect, it connects reasonably well with tools like Google Workspace, allowing documents, emails, and scheduling to tie into business processes.

Pricing and ROI are also compelling. Compared to many traditional ERP systems, Odoo offers a more flexible and cost-effective approach, especially since you can start with a few modules and expand as needed rather than committing to a full system upfront.

An unexpected benefit is how centralized reporting becomes. Having all business data in one place makes it easier to generate insights across departments, which improves decision-making without needing separate analytics tools.

**What do you dislike about Odoo ERP?**

While Odoo ERP is flexible and powerful, there are a few areas where it can be challenging in practice.

The biggest issue is the learning curve. Because it’s highly modular and customizable, onboarding can feel overwhelming, especially for new users without ERP experience. Basic tasks are straightforward, but configuring workflows or understanding how modules interact often requires time or external support.

Performance can also be inconsistent, particularly when running multiple apps or handling larger datasets. Some pages load slowly, and complex operations (like reporting or inventory updates) can lag, which affects day-to-day efficiency.

On the UI side, while it’s clean, it’s not always intuitive. Certain workflows require too many clicks, and navigation between modules can feel fragmented. Small usability improvements, like clearer menus and fewer steps for common actions, would make a big difference.

Integrations are another weak point. Although Odoo offers many connectors, deeper integrations (for example with tools like Google Workspace) often require third-party apps or custom development. This adds cost and complexity, especially for businesses trying to keep things simple.

Pricing can become less predictable as you scale. While the entry cost is reasonable, adding multiple modules, users, or customization can increase expenses quickly, which impacts ROI if not carefully managed.

Support and onboarding are mixed. Documentation exists, but resolving specific issues or getting tailored guidance can be slow unless you pay for higher-tier support or work with partners.

Finally, AI and automation features are still relatively basic compared to newer platforms. While there is some automation, more advanced, context-aware AI (for forecasting, recommendations, or workflow optimization) would significantly enhance the system.

**What problems is Odoo ERP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Odoo ERP mainly solves the problem of disconnected business operations, where sales, accounting, inventory, and customer management are handled in separate tools that don’t communicate well.

The biggest benefit is centralization. Instead of switching between multiple systems, everything is managed in one platform. For example, a sales order automatically updates inventory and can generate an invoice without re-entering data. This reduces manual work and significantly lowers the chance of errors.

It also solves the problem of poor visibility across business processes. Because all modules are connected, it’s much easier to track what’s happening in real time, from lead generation to payment collection. This improves decision-making since data is always up to date and in one place.

Another key issue it addresses is workflow inefficiency. Tasks that normally require coordination between different departments (like sales, finance, and logistics) can be partially automated or streamlined. This means fewer delays and less back-and-forth communication.

From a benefit standpoint, it improves productivity by reducing repetitive administrative tasks. Things like invoicing, follow-ups, and reporting become faster and more standardized.

It also helps scalability. As a business grows, new modules can be added without completely changing the system, which avoids the disruption of switching platforms.

Overall, the main benefit is having a single system that connects operations, reduces duplication of effort, and gives a clearer, real-time view of the entire business.

 ### 4. Seamless Integration, User-Friendly, and Cost-Effective

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shoaib S. | People and Culture Officer, Consulting, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Odoo ERP?**

I love how Odoo ERP's APIs are very much integrated within the whole experience, allowing me to use them for extracting information and representing it on our own platform. This flexibility gives us the ease to make multiple entries or feed data into different platforms. The chat feature integrated within Odoo ERP for every entry is also a big plus, keeping a conversation on what was done, who approved it, and why certain things were done, which is very useful for future reference. I also find the user-friendliness and ease of use quite remarkable. The ability to automate tasks, generate reminders and invoices, and keep track of approvals in an accessible format really enhances our workflow. Furthermore, the initial setup was very easy, thanks to the team at Odoo being responsive and understanding our requirements before launch, making it a seamless process. Its based of cloud, so the performance is pretty snappy and it works faster than a natively installed application works. The pricing model is very competitive. Their customer service is very high.

**What do you dislike about Odoo ERP?**

There are way too many modules in Odoo ERP, and it's challenging to integrate all of them into one solution. For example, anything related to HR could be included within one HR module rather than having different modules for people, payroll, HR, and leave management. All of this could be incorporated into one rather than four different modules.

**What problems is Odoo ERP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find Odoo ERP user-friendly with mobile integration for tasks, automating workflows and approvals. It integrates accounting, HR, and sales, consolidating our subsidiaries into one platform. It simplifies bookkeeping, tracks approvals, and automates payroll, reducing manual processes.

 ### 5. Comprehensive ERP, Requires Strategic Implementation

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Deepak D. | Functional Consultant , Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 31, 2026

**What do you like best about Odoo ERP?**

I like that everything in Odoo ERP comes under one umbrella, integrating all major modules like Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Accounting, CRM, and Manufacturing. This seamless integration ensures smooth data flow across departments, eliminating the need for multiple separate systems, and provides a complete ERP in one platform. The integrated modules make daily operations much more efficient by connecting all departments into a single workflow. For example, a confirmed sales order automatically updates inventory, invoicing, and accounting, reducing manual work and minimizing data mismatch. This integration simplifies reporting and tracking, allowing me to trace the full flow from lead to order to invoice in one system. It saves time during implementation and support, while also improving operational visibility and control.

**What do you dislike about Odoo ERP?**

Some areas where Odoo could be improved are performance and complexity in larger implementations. When many modules and customizations are used, the system can become heavy and needs proper optimization. Initial configuration also requires careful planning, otherwise workflows can get messy. Another point is that version upgrades and custom module compatibility sometimes create challenges. Also, for new users the interface and module structure can feel complex at first and requires proper training.

**What problems is Odoo ERP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Odoo ERP centralizes various business operations, linking sales, purchase, inventory, accounting, and CRM. It reduces manual work, data duplication, and improves workflow automation. This standardizes processes for my clients, enhancing visibility and coordination across departments. Integration makes daily operations efficient and offers a comprehensive ERP solution.

 ### 6. Streamlines Project Management but Needs Faster Notifications

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Himanshu (Hian) L. | EA/Operations Manager, Leisure, Travel & Tourism, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Odoo ERP?**

I like the integration of Odoo ERP with Slack, which is very helpful. It’s great for getting notifications not just in the browser, but also on my mobile phone, which is important for time-sensitive tasks. I also appreciate the automation features, where tasks automatically move from one stage to another and get assigned to the right person in different projects. This really streamlines our workflow. The project management capabilities are solid too, as they let me see exactly where a project stands, including any pending tasks and what needs to be done next. Additionally, the initial setup was quite straightforward since I could upload Excel files to add users and projects, which made the process much easier given the number of tasks we handle.

**What do you dislike about Odoo ERP?**

I find the notifications on the browser not efficient yet, as it takes some time to get notified. There should be an application-based notification system. Also, refreshing the page sometimes takes a longer time to update the status of whatever is loading. It seems like Odoo works kind of slow.

**What problems is Odoo ERP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Odoo ERP to identify tasks for new projects, allocate resources, and forecast deadlines. It helps me monitor ongoing tasks, manage CRM leads, and handle accounting tasks like invoice creation.

 ### 7. Versatile ERP with Steep Learning Curve

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pamela R. | Project Manager, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Odoo ERP?**

I like most that Odoo ERP integrates various tools and can adapt to many countries' payment procedures and taxes. Also, I'm able to have multi-company access on just one system, which makes it great because I can manage separate tax procedures for different countries.
Runs very smoothly, able to work with various tabs at the same time.

**What do you dislike about Odoo ERP?**

The beginner setup wasn't that easy, and it took some self-practice and training to get used to the software.

**What problems is Odoo ERP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Odoo ERP as one tool for everything—invoice, payments, projects, clients, and employees. It integrates various tools, adapts to many countries' payment procedures, and supports multi-company management, which is super handy.

 ### 8. Solid All-in-One ERP for Hypermarket & Retail Business

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shibil K. | Head - Ecommerce, Retail, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Odoo ERP?**

What I like best about Odoo ERP is its all-in-one integrated system. Everything we need for our hypermart runs on a single platform — Inventory, Sales, Point of Sale (POS), Accounting, Purchasing, and even HR — and they all talk to each other seamlessly.

**What do you dislike about Odoo ERP?**

The user interface feels a bit outdated and can be confusing for new users. Some modules are not as intuitive as modern cloud software, and it takes time to get used to the navigation.
Also, while the Community version is free, many useful features (especially advanced reporting and better mobile experience) are locked behind the paid Enterprise version, which increases the total cost.

**What problems is Odoo ERP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Odoo ERP is solving several key problems:

Manual stock tracking and discrepancies between branches
Separate systems for sales, inventory, and accounting that didn’t talk to each other
Time-consuming daily reporting and end-of-day closing

By using Odoo, we now have real-time inventory visibility across all branches, automatic synchronization between POS sales and accounts, and much faster month-end closing.
This has helped us reduce stock errors, save many hours of manual work every week, and make quicker, data-driven decisions for purchasing and promotions.

 ### 9. Extensive features, but country-specifics require patience

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** weinni 2. | Odoo Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 24, 2024

**What do you like best about Odoo ERP?**

I like the simplicity of Odoo ERP and that it offers everything out of the box. We are trying to do everything in Odoo ERP to avoid system breaks. The integration of the Odoo Newsletter Tool has saved us a lot of manual work in synchronizing contact data. The export for the tax advisor and our internal evaluations is absolutely trouble-free, although it was initially a challenge to assign everything correctly. The simple display and the many possibilities of Odoo ERP make you super hyped at first, as they can increase productivity when you realize that less is often more.

**What do you dislike about Odoo ERP?**

Instructions for country-specifics are often hard to find. Often, you only find a simple solution after working on it for a long time, and at the beginning, you don't work very smart.

**What problems is Odoo ERP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Odoo ERP for invoicing, accounting, website, newsletter marketing, and more. It integrates all tools and eliminates manual work, such as data reconciliation. The export for the tax advisor is therefore easier, although it was tricky at first.

 ### 10. All-in-One, User-Friendly ERP That Streamlines Daily Operations

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rehan A. | Salesforce Developer, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Odoo ERP?**

Odoo ERP offers multiple business management features in one platform, such as CRM, accounting, inventory, and sales management. The interface is user-friendly, customizable, and helps streamline daily operations efficiently.

**What do you dislike about Odoo ERP?**

Some modules can take time to configure properly, especially for new users. Also, certain advanced customizations may require technical knowledge or additional support.

**What problems is Odoo ERP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Odoo ERP helps manage different business processes from a single system instead of using multiple tools separately. This improves workflow efficiency, saves time, reduces manual work, and provides better visibility into daily operations.

 ### 11. Modular and Cost-Effective, Excellent for Centralization

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Banking | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 11, 2026

**What do you like best about Odoo ERP?**

I like Odoo ERP for its mobility and modularity, which allows me to integrate different processes and tools with ease. I find it very easy to try, buy, and test modules as if it operates like a marketplace, which is a feature I really enjoy. It helps me focus on what's most relevant by simplifying the management of various processes.

**What do you dislike about Odoo ERP?**

Sometimes when you have an architecture that has a lot of modules, you see the same data across different modules and platforms. What could be done better is to have some type of comment center that will capture an overview with the single data. It's not easy because if you don't expect a lot and if you are trying to simplify what you have, it's a little bit frustrating because you have an initial overview.

**What problems is Odoo ERP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Odoo ERP helps centralize systems to get a single version of the truth and maintains data quality, letting my team focus on what matters.
We started using the CRM module and added new addons.

 ### 12. Disappointing Customer Service and Setup Experience

**Rating:** 1.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Saad R. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Odoo ERP?**

I like that with Odoo ERP, I can manage multiple business functions like Accounting, Purchase, Maintenance, and HR all in one platform. It helps me handle many business functions seamlessly at one place.

**What do you dislike about Odoo ERP?**

Their customer service is disastrously bad. The agents are terrible. They change the terms of the contract by changing online terms and conditions and apply hidden charges to clients. They put material contract charges unilaterally, and since there are switching costs involved, they force you to pay that, or otherwise cut your services. Their local implementation partners are not well trained and the entire setup process is a mess.

**What problems is Odoo ERP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Odoo ERP helps me manage many business functions on one platform. I like that I can do everything in one place.

 ### 13. Comprehensive and Flexible: A Review of Odoo ERP

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Accounting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 01, 2024

**What do you like best about Odoo ERP?**

One of the best features of Odoo ERP is its flexibility and modularity. It allows businesses to tailor the system to their unique needs, whether it's for accounting, sales, inventory, or CRM, by selecting only the modules they require. This scalability makes it an ideal choice for growing businesses. Additionally, Odoo's user-friendly interface and seamless integration capabilities with other tools and systems make it a powerful all-in-one solution.

**What do you dislike about Odoo ERP?**

One challenge with Odoo ERP is its complexity during initial setup and configuration, especially for businesses with specific or unique needs. The system offers extensive customization options, which can be overwhelming for users without technical expertise. Additionally, while Odoo provides a lot of functionality out of the box, certain advanced features may require additional development work or third-party apps, which could increase costs and implementation time. Some users also report occasional performance issues when dealing with large amounts of data or complex processes.

**What problems is Odoo ERP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Odoo ERP solves several key business problems by providing an integrated, modular solution to streamline operations across various departments. Here's how it addresses common challenges and benefits users:

Disjointed Systems: Many businesses rely on separate software for different functions (accounting, CRM, sales, etc.), which can lead to inefficiencies and data silos. Odoo solves this by offering an all-in-one solution that integrates core business processes, ensuring smooth data flow and reducing the need for manual data entry between systems.

Benefit: Reduces errors, saves time, and improves decision-making through unified data.

Manual Processes: Without automation, businesses often rely on manual tracking of tasks, leads, and inventory. Odoo automates workflows, such as sending follow-up emails, generating invoices, and updating stock levels in real-time.

Benefit: Increases productivity, minimizes human error, and frees up time for strategic activities.

Lack of Visibility: In many businesses, decision-makers lack a clear, real-time overview of performance across sales, finances, and operations. Odoo provides comprehensive dashboards and reports, offering insights into all key metrics.

Benefit: Helps managers make informed decisions and optimize processes for greater efficiency.

Scalability Issues: As businesses grow, their existing systems may not be able to keep up with increased complexity. Odoo’s modular structure allows businesses to scale up easily by adding new features as needed, such as advanced inventory management or HR tools.

Benefit: Supports growth without the need for a complete system overhaul.

Customer Relationship Management: Managing customer interactions and maintaining relationships is often difficult without a CRM system. Odoo’s CRM module tracks leads, opportunities, and customer communications, ensuring that sales teams can manage and nurture relationships effectively.

Benefit: Improves sales conversion rates and customer satisfaction.

Inventory Management: Managing inventory manually or with basic software can lead to stockouts or overstocking. Odoo's inventory management system provides real-time tracking, automated reordering, and detailed analytics on stock levels.

Benefit: Reduces inventory costs, improves stock accuracy, and ensures timely deliveries.

By solving these problems, Odoo ERP enhances efficiency, reduces operational costs, and supports better decision-making, ultimately benefiting businesses with smoother workflows and a higher bottom line.

 ### 14. Seamless and accurate integration of accounting and inventory saves review time.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mohamed F. | Inventory Accounting, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Odoo ERP?**

What I like most is the perfect integration between the accounting system and the inventory. The automated linkage makes recording journal entries for sales, purchases, and inventory operations very easy and extremely accurate, saving manual review time.

**What do you dislike about Odoo ERP?**

The interface requires some time to get used to by new users, and customizing advanced accounting reports may require technical assistance initially.

**What problems is Odoo ERP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The most important problem that the program solved for me is the dispersion of data between departments. Thanks to Odoo, there is now a direct and instantaneous link between warehouse movements and general accounts, which facilitates the periodic inventory process and the extraction of profitability reports with very high accuracy and without human errors.

 ### 15. Odoo Experience

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lissa P. | ASOCIADO DE TRAFICO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 06, 2025

**What do you like best about Odoo ERP?**

What I like most about Odoo is that everything is in one place. I can manage accounting, sales, products, and even employees without having to use multiple programs.

**What do you dislike about Odoo ERP?**

What I don't like about Odoo is that sometimes some things don't work as they should or feel incomplete. There are features that could be easier to use. I've also noticed that some updates bring new bugs or change things without much notice.

**What problems is Odoo ERP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has made it easier for me to keep all my files in order. Before, we had to use many programs and Excel sheets, and it was much more complicated to keep things organized. Although there is still much to complete, now everything is divided into sales, inventory, customer, and freight modules, making it easier to solve my daily tasks.

 ### 16. Good UI and Flexibility, but Weak Implementation and Core ERP Depth

**Rating:** 1.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Blake C. | Director of Sales US Northwest & Western Canada, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Odoo ERP?**

Clean, modern interface that is easy to use
Well-laid-out design compared to legacy ERPs
Large application ecosystem for added functionality
Open API allows customization and third-party integrations

**What do you dislike about Odoo ERP?**

Implementation and training quality is poor Out-of-the-box functionality lacks depth in core ERP areas Very limited EDI capabilities Shipping and receiving features are underdeveloped Pricing formulas are overly basic Feels more like a framework than a finished ERP Implementation Experience: Odoo could not support customer shipping accounts, which is a standard ERP feature. We were forced to build a third-party shipping integration using the open API. This took roughly three months and cost thousands of dollars for functionality commonly included in other ERP systems. Response times from account management and implementation teams were slow, and staff turnover was an issue. Over a year-long implementation (partly due to internal factors), we went through three different implementation resources, which caused delays and rework. Overall: Odoo has potential due to its UI and flexibility, but it requires significant customization, third-party development, and internal effort to reach enterprise-level functionality. Best suited for companies with strong internal technical resources and realistic expectations about implementation effort.

**What problems is Odoo ERP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Allowing us to get off of an older antiquated solution. Odoo, is a clean user friendly UI but that is about all it offered.

 ### 17. A Flexible, All-in-One ERP That Streamlines Our Entire Workflow

 ### 18. Unfinished Odoo Custom ERP Project Plagued by Turnover, Delays, and Poor Transparency

**Rating:** 0.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Food & Beverages | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Odoo ERP?**

it's a multi module, comprehensive ERP suite

**What do you dislike about Odoo ERP?**

We contracted with Odoo to develop a custom ERP solution for our small business over a year ago, and the project remains unfinished to this day. Throughout this process we have experienced constant developer turnover — multiple different developers have been assigned to our project, requiring us to repeatedly restart and re-explain our requirements. Each handoff has brought new delays, miscommunications, and lost progress.

For a small business, this kind of prolonged uncertainty is not just frustrating — it's damaging. We've invested significant time and money into a system we still cannot use. Deadlines have been missed repeatedly with little accountability or transparency.

**What problems is Odoo ERP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

 ### 19. Great Software, Disastrous Customer Support

**What do you like best about Odoo ERP?**

Odoo ERP itself is powerful, flexible, and integrates sales, accounting, inventory, and workflows into a single platform. Navigation is smooth once set up, and the range of modules provides strong value for money compared to other ERP solutions. When it works, it simplifies processes and offers a unified system that can scale with your business.

**What do you dislike about Odoo ERP?**

The customer support and sales practices are unacceptable. I was sold Odoo.sh with written assurances of free migration, only to learn after paying that my database version was unsupported. For months, I had no access to what I paid for, with no proactive remedy. I was bounced between departments, promises of credits went unfulfilled, and executive escalation requests were ignored. The product is strong, but Odoo’s accountability, transparency, and support are the worst I’ve experienced.

**What problems is Odoo ERP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Odoo consolidates sales, accounting, customer management, and workflow automation into one platform. It reduces the need for multiple disconnected tools, streamlines daily operations, and integrates with marketplaces like Amazon and communication tools like Gmail and Twilio. The benefit is efficiency and a single source of truth for business data.

 ### 20. A surprisingly smooth and professional ERP journey with Odoo

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Naif A. | Sustainable Engineering Project Manager and Business Advisor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Odoo ERP?**

I don’t really know where to start. When we first looked at ERP systems, we thought about going with dynamics or Oracle, but the price was too high. Then we looked at Odoo, and honestly, our first thought was that it was too cheap and maybe it would not deliver what we needed. But we were surprised because it did much more than expected and worked really well for us.

The implementation was very detailed. Odoo gave us a proper project management team who listened carefully to our needs and also suggested ways to improve our workflows. They did not just copy our business into the system, they actually showed us better ways of working. The team we worked with was basically three main people: Furat Abdel Majed, Mostafa Essam, and Sharif Elshiwihy. Furat and Mostafa guided us step by step during implementation and prepared our company very well. Mostafa Essam worked closely with us to understand our business step by step. He was very methodical and calm in his approach, which gave us a lot of trust that the project was in safe hands. Mostafa also had a very good balance between listening to what we wanted and advising us on better ways to set things up in Odoo. He was not just following instructions; he actually helped us improve our workflows and find smarter ways to work. That type of guidance made the implementation stronger and more future-proof. I am a power engineering student that graduated from one of the toughest universities in eruope that had insanely good teachers, and I found Mostafa's teachings during the tutorials and workshops really really good and clear. After the system went live, Sharif Elshiwihy became our main support. He is extremely punctual and dependable, and he always finds a solution when we face a business flow that is difficult to understand. He explains things clearly, and what really stood out is that he records short videos to guide us. These videos have been very helpful and are now building up into a small internal library that we can keep using for training new staff in the future. Sharif is also very communicative and patient, which makes it easy to approach him with any issue. Instead of just solving the problem quickly, he makes sure we understand why the solution works. That has been very valuable for us because it has helped our team learn and become more confident with Odoo.

Before all of this, the person who made us even consider Odoo in the first place was Omar Talaat. We actually traveled from Saudi to Dubai to meet him at the Odoo office. From the very first meeting, he was professional, patient, and very clear in showing us what Odoo can do. He explained the system in a way that made sense to us, without overpromising, and he gave us a realistic picture of its strengths. He also made sure that we understood what adopting Odoo would look like for our business, which helped us make an informed decision. Honestly, if it wasn’t for Omar’s approach, we might have overlooked Odoo and gone with another ERP. His effort at the very beginning is what set the right foundation for this whole project.

Our account manager, Raneem Sanuri, has been excellent and deserves special mention. She replies very quickly, often even outside of working hours and during weekends, which shows real dedication from an ERP customer service standpoint. She does not just reply fast, she replies with clear and detailed answers that make things simple for us to understand. Whether it was about pricing, scope of work, or when we moved into custom developments, she always made sure there was no confusion. With her support, the entire process felt much easier and less stressful, and it gave us confidence that Odoo really cares about its customers.

Overall, the whole Odoo team was fantastic. Each person did their part really well, and together they gave us a smooth and professional experience. I think Odoo does a great job in assigning the right people to the right companies.

Also, I want to say this to anyone who is worried about the price. At first, we thought Odoo might not be serious because it is much cheaper compared to Oracle or Dynamics. But now I can say the value is excellent and Odoo really is a complete package.

**What do you dislike about Odoo ERP?**

There are not really any big problems from our experience so far. Odoo has actually made our work faster and easier. But there are some small things that feel missing. For example, our company logo does not appear on partner ledger reports and such or customer statements. Things like this are small details, but they would make the system feel more complete in our opinion.

Other than that, some features sometimes feel a little basic but does the job quiet well actually, so maybe I am just being picky here, but nonetheless they never stopped our business. They are more like small improvements that would be nice to have in the future.

**What problems is Odoo ERP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before Odoo, we struggled a lot with managing inventory, keeping track of BOMs, and making proper reports for our finances. Everything was spread across spreadsheets and manual processes, which caused delays, mistakes, and a lot of wasted time.

Odoo ERP helped us bring all of this into one system. Inventory is now accurate and easier to control, BOMs are properly managed inside the system, and financial reports are clear and much faster to prepare. This has saved us many hours of manual work and reduced errors.

Another big benefit is that Odoo, in a good way, forced us to adopt proper SOPs and document our business processes more carefully. This gave us a better understanding of how our underlying flows actually work and how we could improve them. It was not just software implementation, it was also a process of making our company more organized and disciplined.

On top of that, Odoo is flexible. It did not just copy our business workflows, it helped us improve them. We can adjust processes and even customize parts of the system, which makes Odoo fit the way we work instead of forcing us to change everything.

Overall, Odoo solved our biggest problems of inventory management, BOM control, financial reporting, and disconnected processes, while also pushing us to work in a more structured and professional way. It has improved efficiency, reduced mistakes, and given us much better visibility across the whole business.

 ### 28. Comprehensive All-in-One ERP Solution for Growing Businesses

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gourav B. | Mobile Application Developer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 31, 2025

**What do you like best about Odoo ERP?**

Odoo's integration and simplicity are it's strongest points. You can start with CRM or Inventory and gradually scale up to a complete ERP system as your business grows. The user-friendly interface and the ability to customize workflows, reports, and dashboards without heavy coding is a huge plus. Its open-source nature also allows for deep customization if needed, and the App Store offers a wide variety of extensions to meet industry-specific needs.

**What do you dislike about Odoo ERP?**

Being the powerful tool, it does come with a learning curve especially for non-technical users. Some modules lack the depth or polish of specialized standalone tools, and performance can degrade when handling large datasets without proper optimization. Additionally, the pricing structure can get expensive if you need multiple enterprise-level apps, and technical support often requires a paid subscription or third-party consultants.

**What problems is Odoo ERP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Odoo ERP helps us solve the problem of fragmented systems across departments. Previously, we used multiple tools for sales, inventory, finance, and HR, which caused data silos, duplication, and inefficiencies. With Odoo, everything is centralized in one platform, ensuring better data consistency and smoother workflows.
It has significantly improved visibility across operations, allowing us to make faster and more informed decisions. Automating repetitive tasks like invoice generation, stock updates, and employee tracking has saved time and reduced errors. Ultimately, Odoo has helped us scale operations, improve productivity, and enhance collaboration between teams.

It’s especially beneficial because I manage a large inventory of over 9,000 products, making this feature the best for us.

I find the loading management a bit problematic because sometimes their servers have issues and it ends up loading a lot, leaving us stuck.

 ### 31. A Powerful All‑in‑One ERP with Rough Edges

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cristiano G. | Board, co-CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Odoo ERP?**

Odoo delivers CRM, e-commerce, accounting, inventory, project management, website builder, and more in a unified platform – an excellent all‑in‑one solution.
The modular design is a standout: we were able to build a cohesive platform with CRM, inventory, and accounting tightly integrated, eliminating the need for multiple systems.
You can pick community (free) or enterprise editions and add only the apps you need as you scale – making it cost‑effective for small to mid‑sized businesses.

I genuinely appreciate Odoo's intuitive and user-friendly interface, which makes it easy even for non-technical colleagues to navigate.

**What do you dislike about Odoo ERP?**

On the downside, customization isn’t trivial—for advanced tweaks, you need development ability or an implementation partner, and costs can escalate quickly. The licensing structure, especially for Enterprise, becomes pricey when you add users and modules—an issue echoed by many small‑to‑mid‑size businesses.

We also found the learning curve steep, as setting up interlinked modules and workflows took more time than anticipated. Finally, support quality varies depending on your contract level—some technical issues required developer workarounds or extended troubleshooting

**What problems is Odoo ERP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Odoo effectively consolidates business operations — CRM, manufacturing, inventory, accounting, e‑commerce, help‑desk — into a single platform. I’ve replaced multiple tools with one solution that offers real‑time visibility and cross‑module integration

 ### 33. Flexible, Scalable ERP Solution with Endless Potential – Odoo is Evolving Fast

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Najmudheen v. | Odoo Functional Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 14, 2025

**What do you like best about Odoo ERP?**

Highly modular and scalable

Easy to use even for non-technical users

Strong community support and growing ecosystem

Cloud and on-premise deployment options

Excellent for fast-growing businesses

Seamless integration between apps (Sales, Inventory, POS, Accounting, etc.)

**What do you dislike about Odoo ERP?**

Direct print support for POS and restaurant kitchens is lacking.

POS UI is JS-based and harder to customize for non-developers.

Vertical industry coverage (like automobile repair, construction, etc.) needs more native modules

**What problems is Odoo ERP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Odoo ERP is helping solve the biggest challenge faced by businesses today — managing disconnected systems. Before Odoo, many companies I worked with were using different tools for sales, inventory, accounting, and POS — leading to data silos, errors, and inefficient workflows.

With Odoo, we were able to bring everything into one integrated platform

Real-time stock updates connect with POS and sales

Purchases auto-link to inventory and accounting

Sales and CRM flow smoothly into invoicing and follow-ups

This integration has reduced manual work, eliminated duplicate data, and given full visibility across operations. It also speeds up reporting and decision-making, especially for SMEs that need fast, flexible systems to grow.

As an implementer, Odoo also benefits me directly because it’s customizable, developer-friendly, and backed by a strong community. That means I can deliver tailor-made ERP systems faster and with more confidence.

I believe the best thing about Odoo's ERP is the versatility with which you can mold the system to your liking. Having your inventory within the platform to combine it with other modules makes data management far superior.

**What do you dislike about Odoo ERP?**

I think the fact that it has so many features sometimes makes it difficult to specialize in anything. There might be certain basic use-case things that you can't find so easily.

**What problems is Odoo ERP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed to automate our inventory system to streamline and standardize communication processes with our clients. Being able to mold the platform to include email sending, along with step-by-step guides on how things should be done, has helped increase the productivity of both logistics and sales staff.
