1. Lineage doesn't appear for the column for which the column name has been changed in the source system.

2. Doesn't allow dynamic SQL to get data from multiple tables Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Visualization of lineage, cross-system visibility, great support - very quick responses. Ability to build data lineage on the fly. Sometimes loses track of connections for certain types of functions - such as renaming tables, the switch command, and the use of variables. User friendly enough for technical members, others may need a bit of getting used to. CSM is supportive and helping us with specific sessions/recordings.

Sometimes same searches that worked quickly, take longer than anticipated and not really sure what slows it down.

No sort option in most places where you expect them to be, making it really hard to find what you are looking for.

No advance search in some places where it is essential.

Could do with extract to excel in couple of places.

The problem is above functionality is available in the tool is some places but not all.

So the tool can handle sort/advance search/extract to Excel , but just not been designed consistently to have all the options everywhere. Which is strange!

Automated Data Catalog search is a bit too messy

User guides are a bit too basic or gives you obvious information. Need expanding a bit more.
