As an Objectivity/DB user I appreciate its unique ability to handle intricate data relationships and graph databases with minimal overhead. It's also very solid and scalable - to the point I can throw huge volumes of interconnected data at it without a worry and still manage to keep it responsive. Furthermore, Objectivity/DB is extremely flexible when it comes to data modeling and query language, helping me configure the database to my exact needs and implement extremely complex applications with confidence. All in all, Objectivity/DB is the most reliable, easy to use , easy implementation performant and flexible way I've found to operate on complex data systems and help me drive innovation in my projects. One thing that I find a little pricy about Objectivity/DB, as a user, is that for someone new the learning curve is relatively pricey. Objectivity/DB has advanced features and data modeling capabilities, and in order to use it effectively, you need to spend some time to understand it. On top of that, Objectivity/DB is the best when it comes to solve complicated data relationships, but it's an overkill when it comes to solving simple problems. So if you are trying to solve a small standalone problem, then you might not need as complex of a solution as Objectivity/DB offers. The documentation or available resources could be used more proactively by the developers and the team for troubleshooting their problems and optimizing the performance. In my opinion the product is very good in terms of features but does have areas that can be enhanced to make it more user friendly for more users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
