6 OBIX Perinatal Data System Reviews
I work on a postpartum unit as a registered nurse. What I like about Obix is that everyone is able to see what is going on in our labor and delivery unit from anywhere else on the unit. For example when i’m on postpartum I can see how many patients are on the monitors in labor and delivery. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes Obix glitches. It also loses track of fetal heart rates and restarts itself at times. This is very inconvenient when monitoring patients in labor Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like the color scheme. I think it is easy to follow, and you can view it on multiple locations on the unit. That makes me and the other nurses aware of our patients no matter where we are. This gives us the ability to help out other nurses when we are busy with another patient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish that we could directly chart on to the strip and it would sync with Epic. I don't like when there is a downtime and the whole screen goes down because then I am unaware what is happening with my patient or my baby. The system does not notify you before it is about to go down. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We have been using OBIX for the past few years and have found it to be the best perinatal data system that we have used to date. It does a great job tracking fetal heart rates and contractions, allows the user to easily move patients to different rooms, and it’s easy to update patient status as well (laboring, cesarean birth, vaginal birth, etc etc). The system is very “basic,” looking. It would be helpful if we could add information like grav-para to the information bar where providers are listed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love being able to monitor multiple patients at once. I can be at a laboring patient's room and still continue to monitor another patient that is in triage. Also, that my coworkers are able to monitor my patients while I am busy with another patient and can rapidly act if they would see anything wrong. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I do not really dislike anything from Obix I think it is a great software to use. Only downside is having to hold patietns once they have delivered. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's convenient because it's available to be on multiple computer screens at once. Everyone on the unit can know what's happening back in labor and delivery and stay in the loop. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I dislike when the system glitches and sometimes it's unable to read the patient data. That's about it, it's a really good system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like when I can tell if the patient is pushing because I will need to register their baby once they are born so once I see them off the monitor Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don’t like when the system goes down and the bed says it is on hold Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
