O'Reilly Pros and Cons

I am using O'Reilly in my current organisation and I appreciate how O'Reilly offers a vast array of expertly curated resources and interactive learning tools.

I am able to enhance my analytical skills through this platform.It has provided me the practical knowledge as well Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Honestly I have not found any things which I dislike till now. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

O'Reilly has such a vast library of publications that it's nearly impossible to not find several sources for whatever technology you are trying to learn or research. They also often release new titles ahead of schedule.

Aside from the publications, O'Reilly hosts so many helpful and relevant live events that make it very easy to stay current with what's going on in all areas of tech. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What drew me to the oreilly.com site originally was that I was running out of physical bookshelf space.

Now instead of dragging multiple kilo loads of paper back from physical bookshops or conferences or even waiting weeks for the mail delivery of a book, I would have the material accessible to me the moment I could think of looking it up.

So after the trial period expired, I signed up and have been a frequent user since. It must be more than 10 years now, I forget the exact date I joined.

Now for a bonus point - when colleagues ask me whether I know about books or training material for a subject, I can usually refer them to something useful via oreilly.com within minutes, and they either sign up for the site or order physical books. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The content variety is great, you can choose to learn from up-to-date books, video courses, live events, VM sandboxes. All of that prepared by tech industry professionals. They have a dedicated app in case you would like to access the content offline after downloading it. Every live event you participate is available for you as a recording.
