I have been using NX for the past 2 years and have tested many of the modules in NX, along with it I have been working with 15+ organizations and faced 100s of technical issues in various modules of NX, and below are some of the best things that I found about it:
1) UI and User friendly:-
the UI of NX does stand for its name as it gives a complete feel of using updated and competent software and the user-friendliness is also recommendable as it allows lots of options for users to customize the software as per their need by allowing customize tabs, Shortcuts modifications and saving user preference roles.
2) Easy Customization:-
NX is one of the CAD software that can be easily customized in terms of programming that supports the inputs of almost all file formats like *.vb, *.jar, *.cs, *.py, *.dll and the list goes on. Also, it has inbuild options such as PTS, UDF, and Algorithmic modeling which enables the user to define their own set of commands.
3) Broad Nature:-
Siemens NX has lots of modules across a variety of domains such as Electrical and Mechanical Routing Piping, Reverse Engineering, Mold Wizard, Design Simulation and the list is sizeable which caters to almost every need of an organization so that you do not have to look for any other software in the market all you have to do is enable the license and start using it with the same friendly UI.
4) Constant Improvisations:
Siemens puts lots of effort into the R&D of the software and constantly keeps on updating the software based on customer feedback and IRs and ERs which can be raised by the service partner in order to get quick support from Siemens and if not immediately the problem can be resolved in upcoming releases. As we all know everything has some downsides and here are a few as concerned with NX:-
1) Library updation:
The library updation for various modules can be really tricky and difficult at times which might hinder the usability of the particular module.
2) Working within Assembly file:
Sometimes it is difficult to work in assembly files while modifying the components and referencing some of their features.
3) Pricing:
The pricing of the modules of NX can be tricky and at times unfair but this can be avoided using token-based licensing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It's easy to work while doing 3D modelling, Tool design and any kind of modifications required in 3D mdoels. The best part of this software is that it also work on .STL format files Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As far as I used it, I have not found any critical issue till date. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

NX is a good designing tool which makes designinhg work easy and quicker. I love synchononos modeling in NX. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
NX has a large installation file size. 37GB for NX 2312. I wish if i can use NX with just a browser similar to Onshape. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
the abillity to understand the model flow and see the history of what others have done when building there models. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
we have performance issues with modeling updates. it's not always obvious why something is updating and it can be hard to prevent updates unless you know the update is happening. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
NX software is very use full as compare to other CAD software because eassily we can impliment, supporting team for customer, continuesly we can use, features are updating twise yearly and we can easily integrate with PLM. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Surafce modeling need to improve on tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Level of Customization is really good, User friendly & customizable workspace, Can easily install on multiple platform, Highly responsive customer support is available. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
end of perpetual license distribution from siemens Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Excellent part modelling, assembly, drafting, sheet metal and wire harness capabilities
Integration with PLM systems especially Teamcenter
Large pool experienced resources and we'll established support system
Ease of implementation and ability to migrate existing CAD system to NX. Siemens provided CMM to migrate other CAD data into NX
Well established resources and training programs for automotive and aerospace implementations
Intuitive UI enables ease of usage
Provides plethora of MCAD capabilities and some CAE capabilities. This will make it one system to the design almost anything.
With Teamcenter integration product developers can use this as their go to application for day to day operations
Designers and draftsman use it very frequently for all of their operations Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Compared with CATIA surface modelling capabilities are limited and takes more time for the designer to get the same finish
Integrations with system engineering applications (especially requirements management) is still in early stage
Costlier per license when compared with solidworks or solid edge Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I really like the predictive functionality which has been added when selecting certain lines, faces or features. The sensitivity slider also really helps. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The new sketcher, we (as an engineering department) tried it but we couldn't get the hang of it. The way of creating sketches seemed non-intuitive. Therefor we chose to use de old sketcher where everything needs to be defined and can't move after this has been done. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I used NX CAD extensively for brake assembly redesign and simulation. I was able to design every component with ease and got so used to the entire UI. It was so smooth and easy to adapt. Ability to perform simulations was a plus. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The sharing features although powerful, require licences for all users. Faced issues when trying to share it within the ecosystem to vendors. The team faced issues with integrations also. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
