I wouldn't say anything is great about this expensive program that you cant find for cheaper elsewhere. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Crashes. I have half of my audio files transcribed and coded while the other half I have not been able to upload for the past three weeks because of a system error that they cannot yet resolve. They do not have a customer service line that you can directly call and when you send a customer service message the email you receive tells you that they are working on the issue and that you just have to stay put. I have not been able to do vital work for the past three weeks because of this issue. I have gone back and forth requesting for updates and nothing. What I like the most about Nvivo is its ability to organize information in various ways. It can be organized by user cases, research categories, or documents. The support videos are incredibly helpful to learn how to optimally use all the functions, Organise and analyse raw data from transcripts, literature, some images. Straightforward navigation and extraction tools, and helpful display graphics to visualise raw data and 'realise the story' across different visual perspectives.
