"Unmatched Customer Care—Nuvo’s People Make It Happen"
What do you like best about Nuvo?

For me, the thing that I like the most, and what really sets Nuvo apart, are its people. The level of care and customer service you receive, is unmatched in this industry. Whatever you ask for, they don't say, "we can't do it," they say "how can we make it happen." It is the reason I've not only brought them on board at multiple companies I've worked for, but also why I have recommended them to numerous businesses. Miranda and Trevor are the best!

This comes through in how easy they make the onboarding and integration process. Not only do they work hand in hand with you to make sure the application process is just how you want it to look, they also take the time to train both your credit team, as well as your sales team, on how to utilize Nuvo's platform, and the new customer application link, making our customer's lives easier too. What do you dislike about Nuvo?

One thing I wish Nuvo had was a user override feature. Sometimes certain applications require us to make a call or send an email, and it is never an issue. "Cost-Effective, User-Friendly, and Seamlessly Integrated"
What do you like best about Nuvo?

Timing is everything. Grant, Account Exec, reached out to me on the same day I received a contract renewal offer from our primary competitor, Bectran. The renewal proposal included an 11% increase, which I was informed was non-negotiable. This situation opened the door for us to explore a far superior application, which provides the added benefits of Creditsafe reports as part of the standard package, along with credit management for our existing portfolio.

Why:

1. Nuvo's annual costs for the next three years are expected to be on par with the previous year with Bectran, leading to an overall cost savings of 11% year over year.

2. Nuvo's credit application is considerably more user-friendly for our customers, and this is the most important. Additionally, the credit analysts are enjoying the application, and there has been a time savings in decisions. Time is money!

- In the first month alone, I received positive feedback from both customers and our Sales teams.

3. Nuvo provides added security with its fraud detection checks, ensuring that we are working with legitimate businesses—a feature we did not have with the competitor.

4. Their bank account integration with Plaid is far superior to anything we have encountered in the application space. Currently, 60-70% of our customers are utilizing this feature, which not only assists with new applications but also enhances our future account credit management.

5. As previously mentioned, Nuvo includes CreditSafe, which will help us achieve future cost savings on credit services. We will be able to eliminate one of our credit service companies. Additionally, having CreditSafe will benefit our account credit management efforts because there is continuous score updates.

6. Nuvo can easily integrate into our ERP systems. This will allow us to upload data into it and thus reduce data entry. Nuvo is simplifying the onboarding process, and this is a cost savings!

Throughout my interactions with Grant and the Sales team, I frequently expressed to my CFO that everything felt too good to be true. Better user / customer-friendly system with cost savings. All proven to be true and, if I may say so, even better than expected.

We had an aggressive six-week deadline to implement our new application since we were nearing the end of our contract with Bectran. To facilitate this, Grant assigned us an outstanding Customer Success Manager, Courtney Pardini. She successfully met this deadline with ease. During the six weeks, we had a “wrinkle” with one of our subsidiaries. Courtney came up with a suitable workaround and introduced it to their development team. While we still need to complete a few more phases to finish the project, I have little doubt that these will be completed in the same efficient manner. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Nuvo?

As mentioned in “like best,” we had an issue with the management of our Tax Exempt Certificates. Bectran has an automated email notification to the customer to supply updated information. I have been told this feature has been discussed at Nuvo and hopefully will be added. As mentioned, there is a workaround but we would prefer a permanent solution. What do you like best about Nuvo?

Having a dedicated Nuvo representative has been invaluable. Fred is always quick to respond, consistently offers solutions, and provides helpful suggestions on how I can use the data dashboard to track application frequency, understand how the sales team utilizes this feature, monitor approval rates, and see the time saved through the software’s automated processes. From the very beginning, Fred reviewed our credit application workflow and paper forms, then set up an easy-to-use online application for our customers. We were operational within a day or two, and our sales team received personalized video training. The integration process was straightforward and fast, with no issues at all. My Nuvo representative consistently encourages me to share any feedback, whether positive or negative, and is always open to hearing about my experiences. Whenever I have concerns about the information layout or require different report data, he discusses my requests with his team, and together we find effective solutions. I feel that Nuvo truly values its customers, and every interaction with their team reinforces the sense that we are all collaborating to grow and enhance processes that benefit everyone involved. What do you like best about Nuvo?

Nuvo has been a game-changer for organizing and managing the paperwork and licenses required to open an account. The platform is incredibly user-friendly—I can easily send reminders to potential customers or request additional information, and everything is tracked and logged for full visibility. This makes it simple to see how many times my team has followed up.

I also appreciate how quickly Nuvo’s assistance feature responds—it’s just a click away and always timely. New customers love the streamlined process, which is far quicker than the lengthy multi-page applications we used to send. Plus, credit checks can be completed instantly within the system.

What do you dislike about Nuvo?

In the beginning it is a slow process to get your verbiage correct to avoid bottle necks that cause the customer to not be able to complete the application. The other thing I found mildly bothersome was that I couldn't pick up the phone instantly to call if we were in a bind. All calls are scheduled zoom type meetings. What do you like best about Nuvo?

Nuvo has been able to fully automate our new account processes and reviews are able to be executed much quicker than our previous process. I love the fact that the platform reviews the customer's business name for verification to eliminate any fraud that could potentially be targeted. The platform itself is user friendly, and we are able to find the information needed fairly quickly. It is also beneficial that we are able to communicate with the customer via the platform for any missing information and to describe to them exactly what we are looking for. What do you dislike about Nuvo?

There isn't too much that I do not dislike about Nuvo so far! The only issue that has been encountered so far was a customer was not able to complete their application and was not able to get passed a certain point, nor were they able to figure out how to ask for the help that was needed, so we had to resort to our "old way" of processing the application. (The customer was not able to determine how to get logged back in using the chat bubble.)

One other detail that was missing was when the application was approved by our management team, an email was not generated to indicate that the application was approved. We are working with Nuvo to determine how that can be corrected. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Nuvo?

I like that the platform does fraud checks and makes sure the business information inputted is for the entity being onboarded. I like that I can ask questions to the support team and I get help the same day. What do you dislike about Nuvo?

We are used to being able to ask our internal programmer to program ANYTHING (we are transitioning from using an entire process that was build by the owner of the company to mainstream platforms for onboarding and accounting) that will help our customers or internal Puget staff with a smoother process. Having Nuvo is a huge benefit to us, but one of the cons that comes with it is that Nuvo sometimes isn't able to do something we request.

Some of our customers (EDU and GOV) are not able to sign - having an option without a signature would be of great use, especially since we do not need to run their credit report. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Nuvo?

I am really impressed with the NUVO system. It has streamlined my setting up customers and super helpful with credit decisions. I like that it verifies addresses and confirming the federal ID number. It provides updates on the current customers to help with deciding credit decisions. It is an all around easy platform. What do you like best about Nuvo?

I enjoy that everything needed is right there, such as the tax exemption form, credit report, sect of state. I used to have to hunt these things down, so it makes things way easier and fast. What do you dislike about Nuvo?

The downside is it seems like it's hard for me to walk customers through when they are having issues with it, the way around it, is we have face timed so I can see exactly what their screen looks like. Also, there has been times where the company signs the terms with their business name and not an actual person's name, so instead of them being able to edit the signature, the whole Nuvo entry has to be erased and redone in order to get the correct signature. Also, have not figured out a way to add emails or how to explain to the customer how to do it, if they need to forward it to someone else at their company to complete the Nuvo. Also, I know this can be a customer user error, but what happens a lot is people are under the impression that the Nuvo is complete, yet they did not sign. I will say the reminders to complete this is helpful or when I pull it up, I will let them know I'm resending so they can sign. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
