"Simplifying Enterprise Infrastructure with Nutanix Cloud Infrastructure"
What do you like best about Nutanix Cloud Infrastructure (NCI)?

I have been using Nutanix products for multiple Global customers and this review is based on my experience.

Nutanix Cloud Infrastructure is a powerful and mature hyperconverged infrastructure solution that delivers excellent performance, scalability, and reliability.

The unified management through Prism makes day-to-day operations simple and intuitive, even for complex environments.

One of the biggest strengths of Nutanix is its ability to consolidate compute, storage, and virtualization into a single platform, reducing hardware dependency and operational complexity.

The platform scales seamlessly as business needs grow, and upgrades are generally smooth with minimal downtime.

Overall, Nutanix Cloud Infrastructure has helped improve system stability, reduce management effort, and lower total cost of ownership. It is a strong solution for organizations looking to modernize their on-prem or hybrid cloud infrastructure.

Also, Nutanix provides very efficient customer support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Nutanix Cloud Infrastructure (NCI)?

Nothing as such to report.

I have also supported other Private cloud solution like Vmware, but Nutanix is very easy to manage for day to day operations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlined Cloud-Native Development with Seamless Kubernetes Deployment"
What do you like best about Nutanix Cloud Infrastructure (NCI)?

I really appreciate the cloud-like experience on-premise with Nutanix Cloud Infrastructure (NCI). The Nutanix Kubernetes Engine's push-button convenience is fantastic because we can deploy a Kubernetes cluster in minutes. The API-first approach is a game-changer for us; it has been immensely valuable by allowing us to integrate cluster provisioning into our CI/CD pipelines, which speeds up our developer velocity significantly. Setting up an isolated cluster to test changes is quick and straightforward, helping us bypass previous bottlenecks. The initial setup was surprisingly smooth from a developer's perspective, especially how fast we could have a working Nutanix Kubernetes Engine environment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Nutanix Cloud Infrastructure (NCI)?

The documentation for advanced API endpoints can sometimes stay behind the UI updates. We could leverage better enum and parameter documentation, as some endpoints list parameters as a 'string' without documenting the valid values. We have to go through a trial and error process until we make it work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Management with One-Click Features"
What do you like best about Nutanix Cloud Infrastructure (NCI)?

I find Nutanix Cloud Infrastructure (NCI) incredibly useful for its capability to consolidate all our different physical servers into a single unit, greatly reducing maintenance efforts. I love the ease with which I can maintain our server infrastructure through a user-friendly panel that provides comprehensive details and alerts. This panel allows me to efficiently manage our resources and receive advanced alerts when issues are detected in any server. Additionally, NCI excels with its seamless one-click functionalities that include resource upgrades, disaster recovery, and scaling, making it a delight to use without any associated worries. The server health parameter reviews are invaluable for our management of resources. I also appreciate the straightforward initial setup process that allows for easy migration of physical servers to the HCI platform. Overall, these features enhance our operational efficiency and reliability, which makes my experience with Nutanix Cloud Infrastructure (NCI) overwhelmingly positive. What do you dislike about Nutanix Cloud Infrastructure (NCI)?

Nutanix Cloud Infrastructure (NCI) does not support physical dongle-based licenses, which is an issue for some of our university's software. This requires us to purchase additional LAN to physical device solutions, adding to our costs and complexity. I also feel that the inclusion of a dashboard summarizing all physical servers and their resource utilization would be beneficial. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A Reliable and Easy-to-Manage Platform for Modern Virtual Infrastructure"
What do you like best about Nutanix Cloud Infrastructure (NCI)?

What I like most about Nutanix Cloud Infrastructure is how it simplifies the management of an otherwise complex environment. The centralized interface feels clean and intuitive, which noticeably reduces day-to-day operational effort. Tasks that previously required multiple tools or coordination across teams - such as storage management, scaling resources, or monitoring performance - can now be handled from a single console. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Nutanix Cloud Infrastructure (NCI)?

The biggest downside is the cost, especially for smaller environments or organizations with limited budgets. Licensing can also feel complex, and it isn’t always easy to estimate expenses upfront without careful planning. Some of the more advanced features come with a learning curve, particularly for teams transitioning from more traditional infrastructure setups. While support is generally solid, resolution times can occasionally be slower when the issue isn’t considered critical. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Seamless, Reliable, and Effortless Virtualisation with Nutanix Cloud Infrastructure"
What do you like best about Nutanix Cloud Infrastructure (NCI)?

The best thing about Nutanix Cloud Infrastructure (NCI) is how seamless and reliable it makes the entire virtualisation stack. The platform combines compute, storage, and networking into a single, hyper‑converged solution, which massively reduces complexity. It’s incredibly easy to manage, scaling is effortless, and performance is consistently strong. The native automation and one‑click upgrades save a huge amount of admin time, and the overall resilience of the platform gives real confidence in production environments. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Nutanix Cloud Infrastructure (NCI)?

There isn’t much to dislike, but the main challenge with Nutanix Cloud Infrastructure (NCI) is that some advanced features can require deeper technical knowledge to fully optimise. The initial setup and architecture planning can also feel complex for organisations new to hyper‑converged infrastructure. Additionally, licensing can become expensive as environments scale, which is something teams need to factor in early. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Simplifies Infrastructure Management with High Availability"
What do you like best about Nutanix Cloud Infrastructure (NCI)?

I like Nutanix Cloud Infrastructure for its simplicity and ease of management. The unified platform for compute, storage, and virtualization makes daily operations straightforward and reduces administrative effort. Features like the Prism unified management console, automated VM provisioning, built-in storage management, and seamless scaling reduce manual effort and simplify day-to-day operations. It solves the complexity of managing separate compute, storage, and virtualization layers, improving system stability and reducing downtime through centralized control and high availability. Transitioning from our previous setup to Nutanix helped simplify management and improve overall stability and scalability. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Nutanix Cloud Infrastructure (NCI)?

While Nutanix Cloud Infrastructure is stable and easy to use, the initial setup and licensing model can be complex. "Easy Deployment with Impressive output"
What do you like best about Nutanix Cloud Infrastructure (NCI)?

I like that NCI is very easy to deploy, manage, and scale. The hyperconverged design removes a lot of complexity from traditional infrastructure, and the Prism interface makes day-to-day operations simple with clear monitoring and one-click upgrades. Performance has been consistently strong, and the platform works well for both on-prem and hybrid-cloud environments. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Nutanix Cloud Infrastructure (NCI)?

The main downside is cost Nutanix can be more expensive than traditional virtualization or some competing HCI solutions. A few areas of the interface could also be more intuitive, such as VM lists and event alerts, and some upgrades or troubleshooting still require expert assistance. The ecosystem isn’t as broad as major public-cloud providers, which can matter for workloads requiring wide regional coverage. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
