One of the worst experiences of my business career. Steer clear. Nice people. They ignored my many emails and ignored the issues. This resulted in even greater issues that they continue to be remiss in addressing. **What problems is Numeral solving and how is that benefiting you?** Numeral overpaid taxes in several jurisdictions, including in my home state, where they duplicated an entire years' worth of tax payments. The incorrect filing was brought to their attention but they did absolutely nothing. We keep getting emails every week from them asking us to update our resale certificate, even though we've repeatedly requested that they just charge us tax. Our responses seem to go nowhere, and we keep getting the same emails. It's incredibly frustrating and feels like spam. The platform is horrible, and they are non-responsive. The initial setup was the worst ever, making the experience even more negative. **What problems is Numeral solving and how is that benefiting you?** We keep getting spammed with weekly emails, and despite replying, Numeral doesn't respond. The fact that Numeral itself is a simple and intuitive platform, giving us more power to be able to self-operate. Then when we have a question or an issue, customer support is very easy to access with the chat feature and someone will respond within 1-2 business days. **What problems is Numeral solving and how is that benefiting you?** Our company needs to file for a lot of state sales taxes and Numeral was the best solution for us to help automate the process by integrating directly into Shopify and file directly with the states. The customer service is just awful. They don't know how to deal with local or state sales tax, and it takes months to get any response from them. I've even had someone show up at my doorstep warning me about the potential penalties due to incorrect or late filings. They've charged me thousands in fees and penalties on top of their incompetence. The initial setup was very tough to finish. For instance, the dashboard might incorrectly indicate that no collection is happening in a particular state, even when it is. I'm frustrated that even though the system is supposed to automate sales tax compliance and auto-filing, it doesn't perform these tasks effectively. I would also like to receive a copy of our filed return.
