Sometimes the search can be a bit inconsistent, especially in large workspaces. There are times when I need to revise something specific but can’t remember where it is, so I rely on search and I notice the inconsistency. What I like most is the flexibility — the fact that you can customize almost any system: from a simple to-do list to a whole database of projects with filters, links between pages, Kanban boards.

I like that everything lives in one place. I used to have notes in one application, a task manager in another, and a team wiki in a third. With Notion, I moved everything there and stopped switching between dozens of tabs.

I also like the block structure — you can drag any element anywhere, nest pages inside each other without restrictions, combine text, tables, images, and codes on one page naturally.

The speed of work is probably the biggest problem. When a page becomes large (many blocks, nested databases), it starts to slow down. Loading is sometimes noticeably slow, especially on weaker internet or mobile.

Offline mode still feels raw. If the internet goes down, it becomes inconvenient to work, and synchronization is sometimes buggy.

The learning curve is also not easy. When you first start, there is a feeling of "what can you do?" - and until you watch a few videos or spend time experimenting, you simply don't use many powerful features (relation, rollup, formulas) because you don't understand how to approach them.

The search is also annoying - in a large workspace with a bunch of pages, finding what you need can take longer than you would like.

I think the most best about notion is that the project management with the help of AI Agents and chat, also automations! One thing i dislike about notion i that at first when i tried to setup the workspace for my community, and the moment i added my members it gave me a block limit ! and i had to buy the notion premium ! i think that was something that i disliked about Notion ! but eventually it the matter was sorted out as notion provides free notion plus for student led communities ! The UI is user-friendly, and it can be connected with Claude for AI. It’s great for work productivity and helps boost performance. It helps me organize every project that’s been assigned to me, and I can easily see all the deadlines in Notion Calendar. I can also create a database about our subcontractors and monitor the RFQs we’ve sent out. Another thing I like is that it can connect to other pages in our workspace, which makes it easier to keep everything linked and organized. The main things I dislike about Notion so far are that it doesn’t have an offline mode and it doesn’t offer a local file directory like Google Drive. If I could keep my local files within Notion, I think it would really boost my productivity.

I also run into issues with table views. It can be difficult to scroll left and right unless I first scroll all the way to the bottom, which interrupts my workflow. Honestly, the thing that keeps me coming back is how good it feels to actually use. The pages are clean and calm, nothing's shouting at you, and moving stuff around is weirdly satisfying — I hit the slash key and the page just morphs into whatever's in my head, whether that's a checklist, a table, or a full write-up. The other big one is that my whole scattered life finally lives under one roof. My documents, my Slack threads, my Drive files, the tasks I'd normally lose track of — they all sit next to each other and actually link up, so I'm not bouncing between ten tabs trying to remember where something went. And the built-in assistant has quietly become part of my routine: I'll ask it to boil a long note down, draft a rough first version of something, or fish out a detail I only half-remember, and it just does it right where I'm already working.
