Product Description

Notion is a unified workspace for teams. Notion is a connected workspace where your team can create docs, take notes, manage tasks, and organize your work – all in one place. And now, with Notion AI, you can augment your capabilities in new and unexpected ways. Leverage the power of AI right inside Notion, across all your notes and docs, without the need to jump between your work and a separate AI-powered tool.

How do you position yourself against your competitors?

Notion is different in two ways: It brings all work together in one place, and it's so customizable that it can be modified to support any workflow.

Most productivity tool makers focus on solving one problem with one product. Notion's design lets you mold your workspace to serve a limitless variety of uses all in one spot. You can use it to build a product roadmap, wiki, and collaborative docs for your company in one central location. Or as an individual, to keep your notes, tasks, and journal handy and accessible at all times. You can start with a template, or build from scratch to personalize the way you work — at your job and in your life.

What do you like best about Notion?

Notion has become the backbone of my personal productivity and startup journey. For my team, it’s a game-changer: we centralize product roadmaps, track tasks, and collaborate seamlessly in shared workspaces, eliminating scattered tools. Real-time editing and integrated databases keep everyone aligned, while custom templates speed up workflows. Personally, I manage goals, habits, and life admin in one place, blending work-life balance effortlessly. Its flexibility adapts to any need, making it the ultimate all-in-one platform. If you crave organization without rigidity, Notion is a must-try! 🚀 Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Notion?

The constant need for internet connectivity frustrates me during travel or offline work sessions. Additionally, the free plan’s limited Notion AI queries feel restrictive, especially when brainstorming features or refining documentation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?

Notion tackles three core challenges:

1) Fragmented workflows: By replacing scattered tools (docs, spreadsheets, task managers) with a unified workspace, it eliminates app-switching chaos. Benefit: Faster execution, fewer errors, and mental clarity.

2) Team misalignment: Real-time collaboration, shared databases, and transparent project trackers keep everyone on the same page. Benefit: Smoother communication, fewer meetings, and faster decision-making.

3) Personal disorganization: Blending work and life tasks (goals, habits, notes) in one platform prevents overwhelm. Benefit: Better work-life balance and a holistic view of priorities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Notion?

Notion is hands down one of the best tracker tools I’ve ever used. I've been using it for the past 3 years and what I love the most is how easy it is to use. Even though it has so many features I didn’t feel overwhelmed when I started using it. The UI is clean and everything just makes sense.

The ease of integration is also amazing. Setting it up was super simple, and I didn’t need a ton of time to figure things out, which is such a relief.

Moreover, I’ve never actually needed to contact customer support because Notion is so easy to figure out. I use Notion almost every day now. Most of my tasks on notion includes habit tracker, using the content calendar, todo lists and because I'm a freelancer, I use it to keep a track of all my client projects.. Looking at me, even my clients have started using notion.

I’d definitely recommend Notion to anyone looking for a simple yet powerful tool to stay organized and productive Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Notion?

What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?

Honestly speaking, it really helps me keep all my client projects and personal tasks in one place. If I need anything like project details or lists, me and my clients just go to Notion. It’s easy to find everything, and I don’t have to worry about losing anything. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Notion?

I've been using the the notion AI writing assistant since it came out everyday for work and it helps me tremendously. It's totally worth the 10 a month for me. I love the many different options for changing tone, making things longer, etc. It gives me new ideas and words to use in my writing that I can then take and make my own. It feels like having someone to bounce ideas back and forth with rather than it doing the work for you. It's super easy to use and usually always helps me improve my writing no matter what I plug in. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Notion?

Sometimes the responses are not that great but other times they're perfect. I also wish it had the capability to analyze a picture and write about the picture. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It makes my writing more creative and helps me finish faster. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Notion?

I value Notion as a way of storing content I want to leverage at a later date. A key feature I use regularly is the about provide both short (2-3 sentence summaries) as well as more comprehensive (a few paragraphs) of long form content. These summaries help capture the essence of the original content.

I also like the various ways content can be captured. Among my favorite options are embedded documents and videos. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Notion?

Sometimes, when doing a search, the item I expected to be included does not show up. This might be impacted by how I frame the search terms. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?

I have 20K+ entries I have assembled over 20 years of curating content. As a former longtime user of Evernote I am excited about the possibilities Notion provides to tap into this content and put it to work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Notion?

I use Notion for a lot of things. As a content marketer, I've used it to create a portfolio and plan my projects. Since I also day trade on the side, the app allows me to journal my trades, which is a big deal for me. I love the simplicity and the ease of use, and I can move things around based on their level of importance. I really loved the ability to create a portfolio with Notion. The idea that it could create a "personal website" made much sense. Though you can't compare it with other portfolio builders, it's a good option if you don't have the budget to buy hosting and domain names. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Notion?

I'm not sure if this issue is due to Notion's functionality or the way I've set up my portfolio, but I often encounter a problem when trying to scroll. Whenever I move my cursor to the scroll bar on the right, a menu icon appears, preventing me from scrolling. I have to move the cursor away and try again to scroll properly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?

Notion is a perfect software for managing your projects. You can use it to plan your daily activities, journal your tasks and even createing striking porfolio, I't s like a swiss army knife as you can do a lot from a single platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Notion?

I have been using Notion for about 6 years now and it is one of my favorite tools for everyday use. It's a platform that has it all. I use it mostly for project management, where it gives me the possibility to organize my week's activities properly. It also works quite well as a repository for all the documents we use in the organization and even gives me the option to organize myself in different activities creating timelines, tables, and frameworks that I need for my day-to-day. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Notion?

There's nothing I don't like. It's worked pretty well for me so far. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?

The possibility of having all the information in one place. It also allows you to make integrations with platforms to streamline and automate some functions. In my particular case, it has been very useful for me to set up the Marketing wiki on this platform so that everyone on the team can enter and find the information they need related to Marketing resources and materials. Likewise, it has allowed me to have more order in my daily activities, through the project management option, which for me is perfect, because you can even create tables, schedule reminders, organize your day to day, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Notion?

Notion is so easy to use. It can be used as mobile, desktop and web app. And the important feature for me is that it can be integrated with all your devices. The database provides multiple view options such as table, chart, calendar, list that provide necessary insights so effortlessly. Notion is my second brain that I use daily for multiple purposes. File upload is a boon to this app even in free version that allows 5 MB file size. Notion's templates are so easy to implement that I don't need to learn coding or to do hard work. I'm using is for last couple of years. This is the only tool I can relay on as my second brain. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Notion?

Notion releases their desktop app update very frequently. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?

It works like my second brain. Whatever I found as important information I kept adding to Notion and now it has become my knowledge base. I'm using it extensively for my projects and I like its progress bar feature so much. With a very less errort I can create, track and complete my project tasks. What do you like best about Notion?

I use Notion literally to track everything in my personal and professional life. It’s incredibly versatile—you can create notes, manage projects, build databases, and organize tasks all in one place. I love how customizable it is, allowing me to tailor it to my exact needs, whether for goal tracking, meeting notes, or content planning. The ability to collaborate with others and sync across devices makes it even more powerful. It’s like having a personal assistant and project manager combined into one tool! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Notion?

Honestly, nothing! The only thing I’d point out is that there’s a bit of a learning curve at first because it’s so flexible and feature-rich. But once you get the hang of it, it’s completely worth it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?

Notion has solved my need for an all-in-one workspace to manage both personal and professional tasks. Instead of juggling multiple tools for note-taking, task management, databases, and document organization, I can do everything within Notion.

It helps me stay organized, track goals, plan projects, and collaborate with my team seamlessly. The flexibility to customize templates and workflows means I can adapt it to any process, whether it’s for content calendars, meeting notes, or personal habit tracking. This has drastically improved my productivity, reduced clutter, and made it easier to keep everything in one centralized place. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Notion?

I love using Notion for its UI, data types, and user-determined hierarchy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Notion?

Unfortunately, Notion has missed out on implementing many of the easy to integrate features that softwares like Coda and ClickUp have which make running a business directly from Notion difficult without investing in other applications like Miro or Google Workspace or HubSpot or FigJam. Notion needs a REAL calendar integration. Notion needs a whiteboard tool. Notion needs to be able to convert text to tasks. If Notion does not move ahead with these features, they will be left in the dust by companies that take invest in complementary tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?

Notion works like my brain, which is amazing. What Notion fails to do is work with any other tools that I use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
