## Notion Reviews
 ### 1. Notion all in one prodcutivity tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shaddy . | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 11, 2023

**What do you like best about Notion?**

Notion is a powerful, all-in-one productivity hub that can adapt to almost anything you need—whether that’s tracking projects, managing teams, running a CRM, handling invoices, or building custom client portals. It integrates with almost every tool in your stack, so you can keep all your work in one place.

While it comes with a bit of a learning curve, taking a little time to set it up is well worth it. Plus, with built-in features like Notion AI, drafting notes, docs, and content takes just a few seconds.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

Performance & Speed: Heavy databases and pages often load slowly or lag during navigation.

Offline Access: Offline functionality remains unreliable and severely restricted without an internet connection.

Steep Learning Curve: Setting up advanced features, complex formulas, and rollups requires a steep time investment.

Granular Permissions & Analytics: Native charts and column-level permission controls are overly limited for growing teams.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a digital agency we use Notion for a variety for purposes like

Team Management
Project Managemet
Client Portal
Content Planner
Lead CRM
Documentation writing
Report writing

 ### 2. Versatile and Intuitive for Team Management

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dar F. | Support Team Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I love that Notion is able to connect databases, templates, and AI-assisted workflows. It helps me turn scattered information into clearer systems, assign ownership, track decisions, and ensure important work doesn't depend on memory or just one person. Databases are especially helpful as they allow me to create structured systems instead of keeping information in disconnected pages. I can track projects, ownership, review dates, decisions, documents, and operational signals all in one place, with different views for different needs. I also found that Notion is flexible and intuitive enough to start using quickly without tech knowledge, making the initial setup for basic pages and simple databases fairly easy.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I think it's how to make complex databases and automations easier to build and maintain. As systems grow, formulas, or permissions, and views can become difficult to fix or troubleshoot, and it's not always clear why something is not behaving as expected. I would also love stronger native integrations and reliable AI workflows. Notion AI is useful, but greater control over sources and audit trails would make it much more practical for operational work.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Notion to organize and run team and leadership work. It serves as a central hub for documentation, process tracking, project planning, and more. Connecting databases, templates, and AI-supported workflows helps me transform scattered info into clear systems, assign ownership, track decisions, and ensure operations don't rely on memory alone.

 ### 3. Effortless Organization with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cam R. | CSM, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 24, 2025

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I use Notion for managing work tasks, building a story bible for a book I'm writing, and journaling. It helps me stay organized and on track. I love being able to use AI to easily make updates without having to edit everything individually. I like the templates a lot; they help me learn what I can do and draw inspiration for my boards. Also, being able to connect Notion to AI is great. Setting up Notion was easy using the templates.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I think it's just hard to find things or to navigate sometimes. I don't know how to make that easier. But I just sometimes want to jot down an idea or a task and not have to fill out a bunch of info or click into a bunch of pages to do it.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Notion helps me stay organized and on track with my tasks. I can easily make updates using AI without individually editing each entry.

 ### 4. Flexible Platform with Powerful AI and Easy Integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Danélle W. | Strategic Lead Interactive Project Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 05, 2024

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I love the fact that I can use Notion for literally anything, thanks to its immense flexibility. It's so adaptable that I can track anything that exists, and I'm given the absolute freedom to create everything from very complex systems to simple, beautiful pages. Notion has become my personal assistant and knows how I work, making my daily tasks and strategic planning more efficient. Creating new Notion AI skills helps me stay organized and saves me time. Additionally, Notion is very user-friendly, making the initial setup very easy, which is something I really appreciate.

I'm now able to use Notion within Claude, which has added a whole new level of efficiency to my workflow. I can integrate it with all of my AI assistance, further boosting my productivity.

An easy Notion AI subscription is very helpful, and I feel I’m getting more than my money’s worth from the built‑in LMS I can choose.

Notion is consistently responsive, dynamic, and always live, so there’s never any guessing. The page refreshes automatically, and the data is always up to date.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I don't really have anything that I feel could use improvement. I would like for Notion AI to be able to produce more valuable outputs, like markdown files and things like that. I think that would be very useful.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Notion to create documents faster, stay organized, and track my career progression. Notion AI enhances work efficiency, acting like a personal assistant and saving me time.

 ### 5. Note taking, done right

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Maarten F. | Account Manager, Hospital & Health Care, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Notion?**

Notion uses Markup for note taking. Once learned, you can take notes very fast and easilty cut/copy/paste between Notion, Jira, Mail etc. Best thing about Notion is that you can nest pages indefinitely, which makes organising your scribblings a breeze. Mix with databases you can extend the functionality and Notion is more a live application than it is a note taking app. Free tier has a lot of functionality already. Importing from Evernote actually works! Amazingly well! And the killer feature of Notion is AI Meeting Notes. Notion really does an excellent job transscribing and then summarizing your meetings, in any language. Notion integrates with my calendars and mail. The performance of Notion is excellent, after years of usage Notion hasn't become bloatware like Evernote did. Pricing for the professional tier is almost a no-brainer, with the AI Meeting Notes. Onboarding to Notion may be a bit of a steep learning curve, but if you're not using all of the features on day one you can easily trickle your way in into Notion.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

The learning curve for mastering every feature of the product is steep and a bit daunting. I sometimes feel I don't belong in the Notion sphere of users as I only use basic functionality... as if I should not be using Notion. That said, Notion does everything I want it to - and then some.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The always-at-hand intelligent note taking app which actually invites me to document my work.

 ### 6. Best all in one organizer and copilot

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Akshay G. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 16, 2023

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I have been using Notion at for organizing my work. It has been really helpful to track various tasks in my projects, along with time line and due dates.

I heavily use the code blocks to store versions of code. It easily and swiftly handles thousands of lines of code. This I haven't found in any app.

The new feature that collects all tasks at one place has been amazing. It really helps

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

Notion mail. I haven't been able to use that because I use outlook. If outlook integration is supported, I'd love to use mail.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In simple words, Notion is helping me organize my knowledge. I'm constantly learning new technologies, and it's easy to loose track of what I've learned. I take notes, heavily, on notion. I can view them anytime from my mobile or tablet for review. They are highly organized in hierarchies.

Other important thing that notion is recently helping me with is my writing. I write about what I learn, about the technologies and the projects I'm working on. Notion AI is the best writing assistant out there. It helps me find the right title for my study article. It helps me optimize my article for seo. It helps me correct my grammar. It even rewrites my draft in fewer or more words. It's something once I couldn't even imagine.

 ### 7. A fantastic personal assistant!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rhys D. | Cleaning Operative , Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 28, 2023

**What do you like best about Notion?**

Notion has streamlined my university organization and workflow. Being able to track tasks and manage files takes a massive amount of stress out of my daily routine. Notion AI has also been incredible for note-taking and summarizing information—it’s even helped me plan my final-year dissertation. Packed with features, it is easily worth the $10 a month asking price, which feels like an absolute steal.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

While Notion is incredibly powerful, its mobile performance can suffer when handling large databases or multiple widgets. Although this slowdown isn't noticeable most of the time, it can occasionally impact your workflow speed. So increasing the performance of the application and database also adding offline support would greatly improve the product

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Planning and researching my assignments by giving me building blocks which help me understand what I need to talk about and how I talk about it, I've always been bad with managing my time and remembering so having a centralised system to store my ideas and though is super helpful

 ### 8. Best Free Productivity and Note-taking App

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Writing and Editing | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 17, 2023

**What do you like best about Notion?**

: It has so many valuable and essential features for free (such as workshops, note-taking, exporting, schedules, and tables). Notion Ai has been pretty practical and intuitive for me whenever I need to brainstorm ideas on what/how to write something or to improve my notes/documents. As a student, I often use it to organize everything school-related to the schedule and take notes during lectures. I love how it even comes with a student template that allows me to track my schedule and grades. I like that I can export my notes into various files, and vice versa for importing files into notion.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I have noticed there's more updates being rolled in a weekly basis. Please reduce it since it tends to lag the device. Try to bundle up the updates.
Also, please make calendar work with Samsung calendar! Allow the font sizes and styles to be changed. Allow a handwritten option such as those using tablets with S pen.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Notion AI has been beneficial for me in terms of improving my writing, brainstorming ideas for things to write or how to write them, explaining things when needed, etc. I've been able to keep track of all my course assignments because of its schedule. I love the grade calculator provided in their student template - since it allows me to monitor all my grades. I love how I can share the pages and workshops with others. I've been mainly using it for note-taking, scheduling, grade tracking, and using Notion AI for writing improvement.

 ### 9. Honestly transformed me into a more organized person

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 04, 2023

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I really like the addition of AI and that I can just ask within the UI itself. As always, everything is within reach in a singular space so it makes note taking and organization super efficient.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I still feel similarly from my previous response, but it has gotten better since then. Although I think the templates have also gotten better with newer features.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Notion providing AI together with my favorite note taking space has truly saved me so much time. Especially when I'm in a crunch and have not figured it out by the time I wanted, I talk to the AI assistant to guide me to the correct solution. I do think that AI is not very accurate. I have asked it many questions and it's answered with tools/libraries that do not exist. I know there is a disclaimer about it not being very accurate, however, I would like to know that what I'm paying for is worth it. I have not really spent too much time asking it as much as I did before because of this, but I definitely think the note taking is amazing and it has made me become a better organized engineer! Everything is in one place.

 ### 10. Organised workspaces for better productivity

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 06, 2025

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I particularly like Notion AI, which helps summarize meeting notes, draft documentation, and refine content directly within the workspace, saving a lot of time. The improved database automations and button actions have also made repetitive workflows much easier by automating routine tasks. Another feature I've found valuable is the enhanced calendar integration and collaborative editing experience, which make it simpler to plan projects, manage tasks, and keep documentation synchronized across the team.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

When traveling or working with unreliable internet, it becomes difficult or impossible to access or update important documents and notes, Therefore I think there should be support for Offline as well

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Notion solves the challenge of fragmented documentation and scattered information across multiple tools by consolidating everything into a single, flexible workspace. It enables me to maintain centralised test cases, bug-tracking dashboards, and project documentation, greatly improving visibility and team collaboration. This structured approach reduces confusion, saves time spent locating resources, and significantly boosts our team's productivity and organisation.

 ### 11. I'm amazed with notion and AI

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** break n. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2023

**What do you like best about Notion?**

databasses gets new features all the time, always something good

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

The MCP (free plan) is too limited — it's nearly impossible to work with databases meaningfully. Paid plans still don't include AI features; everything is charged separately. Nowadays, competitors are integrating AI both into the product and into the pricing, making it more accessible. Notion should consider bundling AI into standard paid tiers rather than treating it as a premium add-on.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Notion helps with all my digital life, I have numerous databases - for notes, tasks, resources, work, games etc. I have wiki space, pages like presentations. It helps me to write stories and create a universe.

 ### 12. Love it!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nicola S. | Marketing Manager | Content, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 03, 2023

**What do you like best about Notion?**

Notion is a beautiful app. I want to use it more, I hope they are targeting B2B businesses because I'd love to use it at work.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I was excited for the AI function but now I realise AI (from most brands) in its current state is a bit gimmicky. I wish Notion would instead focus on what it does best. They have the potential to be the home of beautiful, connected note taking, but instead are heavily focused on these little AI tools that get in the way. It's funny though because they are losing sight of what made them a success in the first place, if I wanted an AI copilot, I could go anywhere else!

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helps run quick tasks and organises all my notes. Very reasonably priced

 ### 13. Quick and Easy organization

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Angel Fernando C. | Architecture Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 26, 2023

**What do you like best about Notion?**

Most of the time, I need to make quick notes for my college courses and to keep up with the hustle I have going. Without this software, I’d end up with notes tucked into books that I could easily lose. Now, all my notes are organized in one place, and I can also add more information using the AI tool or the teamwork spaces within the software.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

With the integration of other languages, it has easily become one of the best apps for maintaining my notes and staying organized.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As I said before, I can now organize and secure all my information on my computer. Also, the use of AI makes taking notes an effortless task. I also have to track the spendings and earnings of my job so it can stay afloat.

 ### 14. Organised, Valuable and Incredibly Efficient

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ben W. | Software Engineer Apprentice - Underwater Systems, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 11, 2023

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I like the AI integration. I think they've added features thoughtfully to allow quick edits across a mass of notes.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

Better web view, I think the web view seriously lacks in features and use ability.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use it to improve the quality of reports and documents I produce, often typing vague poorly worded brain dumps and using the AI tool to make it coherent and well read. The ability to do this on the fly has made writing a lot simpler and faster. I also further use it to expand areas of writing - however I often just use the output as a guide for structure or content, and re-write myself before suing the AI to improve the quality of writing.

 ### 15. AI Writing Assistant

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 16, 2023

**What do you like best about Notion?**

Notion is now where most of my work lives. The AI features save time on tasks like drafting documentation and summarising notes, and the automation has become genuinely useful. In IT, I deal with a lot of information that needs structure: runbooks, project tracking, and process documentation. Notion handles all of it well enough that I stopped looking for alternatives. The databases and linked views take some setup, but once they're dialled in, they hold together in a way that most tools don't.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

The feature I keep wanting is text-to-speech. Notes, documentation, meeting summaries, being able to have those read back while I'm moving around or doing something else would be genuinely useful. Long-form content especially.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Notion is a really helpful tool that has been helping me keep track of all aspects of my work. Notion made it easier for me to stay on top of my tasks, notes, and other important information. I've been able to make my Notion workspace fit my needs.

 ### 16. An amazing asset to include in a fantastic tool for my business

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matt T. | Partner & Executive Vice President, Learning & Development and Patient Advocacy, Consulting, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 02, 2025

**What do you like best about Notion?**

The ability to organize ANYTHING and keep detailed notes in one area, while also running key business tools like a CRM, a marketing funnel, a sales funnel, and team communication all in one!

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

The lack of customizability to fonts and colors. If that was added, it would be even more amazing.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It serves as a great all-in-one tool for my company to run our business from. We can maintain our SOPs and send employees to the Notion page to gain access to all key areas of the business that we would need them to have access to, but another SaaS system does not constrain us. I believe we were able to build everything we needed for our business using Notion as the base platform and customizing various elements to best fit the needs of our industry.

 ### 17. Valuable Visibility, Challenging Learning Curve

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Colby F. | Content Designer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I like how Notion provides a fairly visual roadmap of what's going on, which really helps in tracking project progress without having to deal with all the information at once. It's also great that I can switch from an overview page directly to a specific page and immediately start working. This feature is especially helpful when I'm juggling multiple projects and need to view more than 5-6 projects in a single view, which is quite beneficial during Zoom calls when sharing my screen.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

It's been a learning curve to add new drop downs on a page. It's also annoying that things filter by alphabetical order by default. There are some times when I am planning "April 2025, May... June... July... August" and the page automatically filters to "April, August, May..." It would be nice to have a button that lets you decide HOW you want something sorted. When the side panel opens to create a new page, I wish I had the option to add a new property rather than just adding it to the old one. The setup was pretty difficult. It was a learning curve compared to Monday which is very intuitive. There's more functions in Notion, just takes longer to figure them out.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Notion solves the visibility issue by providing access across projects, helping our team track project statuses and collaborate efficiently. I appreciate its visual roadmap and progress indicator, which help in managing multiple projects without overwhelming details. Its easy for stakeholders to use the tech, too which is a perk.

 ### 18. Custom Database Views Make Notion a Powerful Hub for R&D Projects

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kwesi R. | Robotics Controls Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

What I like best about Notion is the ability to design specific database views for the work I’m doing. My team has a database that includes a lot of content. When I’m setting up R&D projects, I often create a new “hub” for the project that may include a few brief explanations, but I primarily use filtered views into the team’s database to share information with the R&D team and remove unrelated pages. This way, the broader team can stay aware of what we’re building through the main database, while the R&D team can quickly navigate to only the relevant information.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I currently dislike how when I copy a synced block (usually as part of a longer copying operation), that it sometimes does not become a synced block when pasted into another place. This may be an issue with user error, though, because I see that it sometimes works as expected. I am also slightly frustrated by how comments are sometimes displayed in Notion. I have some design documents that receive extensive comments and the location of comments in the right hand sign of the Web Browser UI sometimes pushes comments far away from the original marked up location if there are many comments "nearby".

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Notion is solving the problems of: (1) Sharing technical research progress reports (often involving math formulas), (2) giving and receiving feedback on software design ideas, as well as (3) managing my own time every day at the office with a ranked To-Do list.

 ### 19. Intuitive, Collaborative, and Highly Customizable

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrew W. | Director of Product Management, Education Management, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I love the ability to use relational databases in Notion without everyone needing to be fluent in SQL. It's very powerful and is the biggest advantage for me. The UI in Notion is also just very intuitive and delightful to use. It provides all the power of building front-end and back-end applications using relational databases, wrapped with UIs and views to view all the data. As someone who is not heavily technical, being able to build tools to solve our internal problems at our organization with Notion is very satisfying.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

We're still struggling a little bit with the granular permissions. Sometimes we expect something to work for someone with a certain permission but it doesn't work like we'd expect. I'd also love the ability to set passcodes when publishing things publicly. Right now, either everyone needs a Notion account, or it's available to the world. I wish there was an option in between where we could publish things to non-Notion account users but still have an extra level of security with a password. Otherwise, I'm actually rotating published URLs to ensure things don't end up in the wrong hands of competition. Also, there's not a native integration with Azure DevOps, and we're waiting to switch to GitHub projects just for the native integration.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Notion to organize projects and tasks both personally and at work. It provides a single source of truth, enhances transparency, facilitates collaboration, and makes information accessible. It's also great for using relational databases without needing SQL proficiency.

 ### 20. Simplicity and Power in Information Management

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sebastián M. | Managing Partner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I like using Notion as the operating system for my company, both for internal work and for sharing deliverables with clients. I like the interface, it's easy to use, and the AI meeting recording function works well without connecting a bot to them. I also appreciate that the initial setup was quite easy.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I don't like the lack of clarity in the pricing for equipment in the free and paid plans. I've already had problems because of this, as the charges that are activated are not always adequately communicated.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Notion to organize and systematize information in my company, and to share deliverables with clients.

 ### 21. Versatile Workspace with Seamless Customization

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Samuel S. | Digital Transformation Honcho, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I like the AI meeting notes feature as it makes capturing relevant notes to tasks and projects easy. I also appreciate the ease of customization on project boards or databases, and the simplicity of content creation with plenty of markdown features. The ability to move content around easily or structure it as needed is a plus. Notion's integrations and the notification system stand out too, making it a very integrated experience in one workspace.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I dislike the permission settings in Notion, which make it difficult to edit or change specific fields on a database. I'd like the ability to make fields mandatory. More integration with MCP would also be great.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Notion for content creation and sharing, task and workflow management, and much more. AI meeting notes help capture relevant notes, and customization eases project management. Notion organizes everything in one workspace, unlike Jira, which lacked an integrated experience.

 ### 22. Notion 3.0 is a game change on top of a great product

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I have used Notion on and off as a business user for the last 5+ years, they have continuously improved the product by adding new features with the new 3.0, bringing AI natively into Notion and across business platforms

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

Pricing for Notion is often a sticking point for organisations that are not already embedded in Notion as they do not see the time they can save/value add from investing in this tool within their stack. Often, they choose to stick with their bundled platform like Atlassian or similar.

Transitioning to Notion can also be difficult because unlike documentation tools, you can build entire ecosystems within Notion blending Knowledge and systems together. Although this is a p

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Notion as my Second Brain, the addition of the 3.0 automations and buttons means I can make my dashboard themed and 'hide' backend databases in a way that I don't need to navigate multiple pages to see at a glance what needs to be done. This helps me be productivty, hit my goals and manage by Audhd symptoms.

 ### 23. All-in-One Organization Made Easy

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** JASMINA D. | Content specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I really appreciate Notion’s flexibility and all-in-one approach. It allows me to organize notes, tasks, databases, and projects in a single workspace. The ability to customize pages and create interconnected databases makes it easy to adapt the tool to my workflow. I also like its clean interface and the variety of templates that help me get started quickly.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

While Notion is powerful, it can sometimes feel slow, especially with larger databases or complex pages. The mobile experience is also not as smooth as the desktop version, which can be a bit frustrating when working on the go. Additionally, some features, like advanced filtering or automation, could be more intuitive and easier to use.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Notion helps me solve the problem of scattered information and fragmented workflows. Instead of juggling multiple apps for notes, tasks, and project tracking, I can keep everything in one place. This saves time, reduces confusion, and makes it easier to stay organized and focused. Being able to link pages, create databases, and visualize information in different ways also helps me plan more effectively and track progress across projects.

 ### 24. The Ultimate Hub for Team Alignment

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jennifer R. | Global Head of HR, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I love how Notion acts as a wiki, project tracker, database, meeting notes hub, and documentation system all in one place. The ability to structure information in a way that matches our company's operations is incredibly useful. Creating top-level hubs for departments provides a clear 'home base,' ensuring everyone knows where their documentation lives. Nesting pages creates a natural flow of information, from high-level overviews like department strategies to detailed SOPs and project plans. Connecting databases across teams has reduced duplicate work and ensures consistent updates, as we now maintain one master database. I appreciate the use of standardized templates, which capture information consistently. It's also great that we can integrate Notion with org chart software and a few sales tools. Overall, Notion has been an invaluable tool for our organization.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

One challenge is performance at scale. As databases grow larger and more interconnected, pages can sometimes load more slowly than we'd like. Also managing multiple pages at scale is an issue. As the workspace grows, we have ended up with a large number of top level pages, and there isn't a traditional folder system to group them in the way some teams might expect.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Notion as our internal wiki, solving the problem of scattered information. It keeps our teams aligned with departmental hubs and connected databases, reducing duplicate work. It functions as a project tracker, database, and documentation system, aligning with how our company operates.

 ### 25. From Chaos to Clarity: Why Notion Is My Operational Backbone

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

What I like best about Notion is that it turns ideas into systems without killing creativity.

As someone who designs governance workflows, executive dashboards, training programs, and AI-augmented processes, I don’t just need a note-taking app. I need flexible infrastructure. Notion gives me that. I can move from a blank page to a fully operational system: databases connected across teams, decision tracking for boards, content pipelines, learning hubs, and even AI-assisted documentation, all in one workspace.

What I value most is its adaptability. I can build something simple enough for non-technical teams (like a board of directors) and, at the same time, architect complex relational systems for operations, events, or community programs. It scales with the user.

And maybe the most powerful part: Notion doesn’t force you into someone else’s workflow. It lets you think clearly, structure intentionally, and build tools that reflect how you and your organization actually work.

For me, Notion isn’t just software. It’s a thinking partner.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

Notion’s biggest strength is also its biggest weakness: flexibility.

It’s easy to overbuild complex systems that become hard to manage. Large databases can slow down, permissions can get messy in bigger teams, and onboarding beginners can feel overwhelming without guidance. Offline access is also limited.

Notion is powerful, but without structure and clear ownership, it can quickly become chaotic.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Notion solves fragmentation.

Before Notion, information lived everywhere: documents in Drive, tasks in different apps, meeting notes in random places, decisions buried in email threads. Notion centralizes knowledge, processes, and execution into one connected workspace.

In my work, it helps me solve three key business problems:

1. Lack of visibility.
With executive dashboards and relational databases, leaders can see KPIs, priorities, and progress in one place.

2. Poor process documentation.
I build structured systems for governance, events, and training programs so teams stop depending on “tribal knowledge.”

3. Inefficient collaboration.
Instead of endless email threads, teams collaborate directly inside tasks, agendas, and shared databases.

The benefit for me is clarity and scalability. I can design systems once and reuse or adapt them across organizations, which saves time, reduces operational friction, and improves decision-making.

 ### 26. Great experience and makes everything streamlined for me

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lucia J. | Business Development and Event Associate, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

Notion has been super helpful for me. It keeps all my productivity stuff in one space where I can take notes, manage tasks, and set up different databases without switching between apps. I like that I can make it totally my own too, depending on what I’m working on. Sometimes that’s tracking payments, planning a job search, or getting organized for a new job.
What I really like about Notion is how easy it is to customize and keep everything connected. It works on my phone and computer, and it always syncs right away, which makes things really smooth. It’s also great for sharing pages or working with others at the same time. Plus, the templates make it easy to get started if you don’t want to build everything from scratch.
Overall, it’s just a super flexible tool that helps me stay organized and keep everything in one place.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I really like Notion overall, but there are a few things that bug me. It can feel a bit slow or heavy sometimes, especially with bigger pages or databases, and it definitely has a learning curve when you’re first setting it up. I also wish the mobile app felt a little more streamlined because it’s not as smooth to build or edit more complex pages on my phone.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Notion helps me keep everything in one place instead of scattered across different apps, random notes, and spreadsheets. I use it to manage tasks, keep track of payments, plan my job search, and organize things for a new role, so I’m not constantly hunting for info in different places. Having one workspace for all of that makes it easier to stay on top of deadlines and follow-ups, and it gives me a clearer
picture of what I need to do each week.

 ### 27. Customizable Yet Complex; A Mixed Bag for Serious Presentation

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniel R. | Brand Ambassador | Creative Lead | Scriptwriter | UGC Video Editor/Producer & AI Video Creator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I do like the features in Notion, especially the way I can organize things, and it looks a lot better than Google Docs and Google Drive when presenting. I feel like people just take me more seriously with Notion. I like the ability to really customize things because Google Drive feels a bit plain to me. I enjoy being able to right-click and see so many options available. Although some features might be overwhelming, I appreciate that they're there, even if I don't fully understand half of them. The ease of use and the ability to toggle, change, and link things to a board make it pretty useful. I also like the shareability, and it looks nice, seeming like a step up from Google Drive. There was just a little learning curve, but nothing crazy.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I feel like I heavily underutilized a lot of the features because I don't want to watch twenty hours of tutorials to figure out how to make everything look like an amazing dashboard. Like, some of it's a little overwhelming, but I like that it's there even though I don't understand half of it. Also, I would like some suggestions, maybe something that's a little bit more helpful, like hand-holdy, I guess.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I like how Notion helps me organize things better than Google Docs and Google Drive when presenting. It makes my proposals look more professional, so people take me more seriously. The shareability and ease of use are also beneficial.

 ### 28. Very usefull for students !

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dylan L. | Soutien scolaire en Histoire et HGGSP, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 17, 2023

**What do you like best about Notion?**

Since my last review, Notion has improved a lot in the readability of its interface, in the ease of modifying the text we write and in many small details that make life easier. Above all, the central point is the development of AI agents which really make our lives easier and allow us to concentrate on what is essential.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

Getting started with Notion can still be confusing but it's because it's very complete.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Thanks to Notion AI, I can reorganize my courses in an extremely efficient manner and quickly create concise summaries. Additionally, Notion AI proves to be very handy when I need to translate documents I'm working with that are not in my language. Overall, Notion is an incredibly useful tool that helps me with my work organization.

 ### 29. Notion is the backbone of how I think, plan, and work

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Scott B. | Senior Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 04, 2023

**What do you like best about Notion?**

Over time, Notion has become the base layer for almost everything I do. It’s where ideas start, projects take shape, and information actually stays organised. The flexibility means I can adapt it to how my brain works rather than forcing myself into a rigid system.

The AI features have made a real difference too. I often struggle to articulate thoughts clearly, and Notion helps turn rough notes or rambling ideas into something structured and usable. That alone has made it feel less like a tool and more like a thinking partner.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

Notion’s biggest strength is also its biggest challenge: the blank canvas. For new users or teams, the freedom can feel overwhelming and lead to over-engineering systems before they’re needed.

More opinionated starting points or progressive guidance would help people get value faster without losing the flexibility that makes Notion powerful.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

NotionAI enables me to articulate myself effectively, I can keep track of notes and expand on my thoughts or summarise lengthy emails that I receive but do not wish to read.

 ### 30. Notion as a Centralized Source of Truth for Calendars, Leads, and AI Meeting Notes

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Katrina P. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I love Notion as my centralized source of truth, it allows me to have clear documented processes all in one place and share easily with coworkers. I'm able to keep my marketing calendar and podcast calendar updated in one place which flows through to any referenced place which reduces the chance for error. I've even built a custom lead generation board where I can track folks I meet and their action items get added to my to do list easily. The new AI note taking is transforming how I follow up from meetings, creating very clear action items I can complete.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

It is so customizable which can be overwhelming, it can easy to get into the asthetics of the layouts etc without actually accomplishing things. This is why I think having someone help you build or using templates is most effective.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I’m using Notion for both business and personal use, and it’s been amazing. On the business side, it’s taken things that were previously very decentralized and brought them into one home—a central place where I can find everything I need. It also helps me capture my to-dos and stay organized, so I can keep my business on track not only across my clients, but also alongside my personal life. I love that I can trust the Notion team to think of things that I didn't even know could improve my life!

 ### 31. From Podcast Scripts to Gear Lists, Notion Is My All-In-One Production Hub

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brent H. | Audio / Video Engineer, E-Learning, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I use Notion for a variety of tasks in my current role.

I first started using it when I was producing our company podcast. I set up a database to organize all our episodes and created a page for each one, with background information on guests and resources the host could reference before and during the episode.

Since then, I've built similar databases to track the equipment we use. I can take photos of each piece of gear we buy, enter the model number, and add any additional details needed, so our inventory stays clear and easy to maintain.

Because we do a lot of contract work with Subject Matter Experts, I also created a database to store the documents we send them ahead of a recording. I use the same space as a central repository for process guidelines and design standards documents as well.

Overall, it's a fantastic organizational tool that works really well for my job and is also helpful for personal tasks.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

Under the free plan, you're limited to 1,000 blocks per workspace if there are two or more workspace owners. Basically, every piece of content you add to a page, regardless of its type, is considered a single building block. So, obviously, exceeding your designated limit will eventually become an issue.

Even if you delete certain blocks, the block count doesn't decrease. That means once you hit the 1,000-block limit, the only real option is to upgrade to a paid tier. However, for solo users, the blocks are unlimited. It's not until you add a teammate that the 1,000-block cap kicks in.

I can still make the most of the functions included in the free plan, but it would be nice to have access to more advanced features—like integrations and AI—without upgrading.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I like being able to set up multiple workspaces so I can keep content organized, with everything embedded on its own dedicated page. Within each workspace, I can create pages and upload documents, pictures, links, videos, and more to keep everything in one place. I also appreciate the variety of views available—such as list, chart, timeline, and table—because I can quickly glance at a page and find the information I need.

 ### 32. Notion Review

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vibhor J. | Lead Support, Medical Devices, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

1. Notion brings together notes, documents, tasks, calendars, databases, and wikis in a single platform, which helps cut down on the need to juggle multiple separate tools.
2. I also like its simple, elegant design—it’s easy on the eyes and makes it much easier to organize and navigate large amounts of information.
3. On top of that, there’s a huge community and plenty of ready-made templates for productivity, planning, course notes, CRM, and more, which makes it quick to get started and stay consistent.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

1. Very large databases or especially heavy pages with lots of blocks and content can slow down performance.
2. Also, as with any cloud-based tool, storing sensitive information means you have to place trust in Notion’s server security.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Notion works similarly to Jira. Although I use Jira, I even use Notion to manage personal and internal project-related tasks. I have a team that works with me on certain projects, so I create different project tasks and assign them to various members. It’s very easy to track and manage tasks, and to monitor the project’s overall progress level.

 ### 33. Notion Replaced Evernote for Less—Plus Many More AI-Powered Extras

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Markkus R. | Writer, Editor, SEO/GEO specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

The best thing about Notion for me is its comprehensive replacement of my former software of choice - Evernote - and then its additional stack of AI-related abilities and other features on top of what Evernote offered—all for a little less than the price of Evernote's new highly inflated prices.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

So far, the only thing I've disliked about Notion was the one time when, after purchasing the yearly Business Plan membership, the software defaulted to the Free plan status, which was locking me out of my AI transcript and summary that I needed for work. For some reason, when I logged into the browser version of Notion, it restored my Business Plan status on the desktop software. So in the end, it wasn't too disruptive, but it was quite annoying.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's solving what was a big problem for me, which was organizing meetings and the reocordings/transcriptions of those meetings, between multiple video meeting hosts, such as Zoom, Google Meet, and Teams. Now with Notion, anything that's in my calendar is easy to create a Notion page for, and to one-click start transcribing, regardless of what video client was being used. This is a great example of what I hope is just the beginning of how agentic AI can solve actual productivity problems. It's also only one problem Notion is helping with, but it's the most important one.

 ### 34. Easy Model Discovery, But Too Many Note-Finding Options Can Confuse New Users

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Denise G. | Post-Production Coordinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

Insightful organization and easy model discovery. We use it almost every day at work in different meetings and projects

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

There are too many ways to find notes, which might seem like a good thing, but it can make people who are new to the platform feel very confused. For example, I think the calendar should be mandatory as the default model for every new note. That way, you could pick any day of the year and keep all your notes together, even as the years go by. The formatting and design should be more visual (like a mind map), and without this feature it's not that easy to implement.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It’s a place where you can turn legacy data into a very rich database. The AI feature for creating a to-do list or an action plan is really easy to use, and I’m impressed.

 ### 35. Notion - productivity and efficiency combined

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Akshaya A. | implementation Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Notion?**

Notion stands out for its ease of use and smooth implementation. We use it daily (frequency of use) for everything from documentation to project management. It offers a wide number of features, yet remains intuitive and flexible. The ease of integration with tools like Slack and Google Drive enhances our workflow. Additionally, customer support has been responsive and helpful whenever needed. A great all-in-one tool for teams looking for simplicity and power.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

There is nothing I dislike at the moment.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Notion solves the problem of fragmented workflows and scattered information by combining notes, tasks, docs, and databases into one customizable platform.
It's easier and beneficial having everything in one place - leading to better organization, easier collaboration, and increased productivity. It’s flexible enough to fit different team needs while reducing the need for multiple tools. A lot of the team collaborate with Notion.

 ### 36. Notion AI

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sarah L. | Nurse Extern, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 21, 2023

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I really like the new AI meeting note feature. I often have content-heavy Zoom calls that I have to transcribe myself personally. However, this is extremely helpful in taking Zoom recordings and creating effective and concise meeting notes.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

Their AI feature has improved significantly! It's much easier to use and has so many more functions that I have yet to explore. I'm looking forward to using Notion more in my day-to-day.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Definitely time management and project/homework management. I love that everything is in one space and easily accessible so I do the have to go looking around for things in my office or computer.

 ### 37. Versatile Databases, Diagrams, and Docs That Make Collaboration Easy

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Garry P. | Staff Software Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I use Notion both professionally and personally for projects, documentation, trip planning, and organizing home stuff. Notion makes it way easier to communicate with others through traditional documents, inline comments, and by easily building and sharing diagrams and code. I love the ability to build databases of information, which makes planning and sharing subsets of large bits of information super easy. Mermaid diagrams are amazing for capturing and sharing ideas with team members. Databases provide different visuals for the same information, allowing for deep dives into individual ideas and seeing timelines with Gantt charts. I also appreciate being able to use pie charts or histograms to distribute work view. Notion performs much better than Confluence for me, as it doesn't feel forced to integrate with other systems. Setting it up was super easy despite some initial hiccups.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

Sometimes copy/paste doesn't do what I want. I sometimes copy/paste in existing markdown and it seems to be hit or miss if it'll auto convert it to properly formatted Notion or not.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Notion makes communication easier with inline comments, diagram creation, and database sharing, easing project planning and information sharing.

 ### 38. Seamless Daily Workflow with Notion’s Flexible, Intuitive Task Management

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brahmatheja Reddy M. | Head of Product, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

What I like most about Notion is how seamlessly it fits into my daily workflow. I use Notion tasks and Notion Mail regularly and the overall ease of use is a big reason I keep coming back. The interface is intuitive, flexible, and doesn’t feel overwhelming despite the number of features available. I was able to get started and implement it quickly without any heavy setup or onboarding.

Notion really shines in task management and customisation I can tailor views, databases and workflows exactly to how I think and work. Integrations with other tools are straightforward, and syncing information across the Notion suite feels natural rather than forced. I use it very frequently (almost daily) and it scales well from simple to complex use cases.

Customer support and community resources are also solid. While I don’t need support often, documentation and templates make it easy to self-serve. Overall, Notion strikes a great balance between powerful features and usability, which is rare for a tool this flexible.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

While Notion is powerful, it does have a learning curve once you move beyond basic usage. The sheer number of features and customisation options can feel overwhelming at times, especially when trying to set up more advanced workflows or databases efficiently.

Performance can occasionally lag with very large pages or complex databases, which becomes noticeable when you use it as frequently as I do. Some integrations, while available, still feel less native than expected and require manual workarounds.

Customer support is generally helpful, but response times can vary and for power users, more advanced troubleshooting guidance would be appreciated. Also, while Notion Mail and tasks are improving, there’s still room for refinement to make them feel as polished and fast as dedicated tools in those categories.

That said, these are more trade-offs of flexibility than deal breakers and Notion continues to improve steadily.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Notion solves the problem of having work scattered across too many tools. Instead of managing tasks in one app, documentation in another and emails somewhere else, Notion brings everything into a single, flexible workspace. Using Notion tasks and Notion Mail together helps me centralise planning, execution and communication without constantly switching contexts.

This consolidation has made my workflow more efficient and easier to manage on a daily basis. I can turn emails into tasks, link them to projects and track progress in one place. The benefit for me is clarity I spend less time organising information and more time actually working on it.

Notion also solves the problem of rigid tools that don’t adapt to how individuals work. Its customisation and integrations allow me to design workflows that fit my needs rather than forcing me into a predefined structure. Overall, it’s helped me stay organised, reduce tool fatigue, and maintain consistency across my work, especially with frequent, day-to-day usage.

 ### 39. Building a Second Brain: How Notion Reduces Information Overload

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Prashant K. | Astra Research Fellow (AI Safety) / Redwood Research, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

Notion has become our single source of truth. It allows me to centralize all our documentation, SOPs, and project notes in one place, replacing scattered Google Docs and spreadsheets. I love the hierarchical structure (nested pages) which makes it easy to drill down into topics without clutter.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

It has a steep learning curve for new team members. Because it is so flexible, it can be overwhelming for people who are used to standard document editors. It takes time to train the team on how to use our templates and databases correctly so things don't get messy.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Notion has become my “second brain,” helping me manage information overload. I use it to capture synthesized ideas, research papers, and important follow-ups in one well-organized system. In particular, using Notion AI and other frontier models to summarize and process this information ahead of time has been a game-changer. It has noticeably reduced my cognitive load, because I no longer feel like I need to keep everything in my head. The ability to quickly search, revisit, and review my notes also helps ensure that no valuable insight gets lost.

 ### 40. A True All-in-One Workspace: Flexible Databases, Notes, and Powerful AI

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Diana N. | Customer Success Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I love that Notion is a true 'all-in-one' workspace (since everything in our company is in Notion). The ability to combine complex databases with simple note-taking and powerful AI features makes it the most flexible tool I’ve used. It helps me brainstorm, summarise, and draft content directly within my workspace without switching tabs.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I find that the mobile app experience isn't quite as fluid or intuitive as the desktop version, but I prefer using the desktop anyway. Sometimes, but very rare, the platform can occasionally feel slow to load when pages become very large or contain many databases.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a CSM, Notion solves the major problem of information silos. By syncing data from Linear and Slack, it acts as a single source of truth for all my product-related questions. Instead of wasting time hunting through endless Slack threads or technical tickets to answer a client, I can use Notion AI to quickly query that integrated data. This benefits me by dramatically reducing response times and allowing me to stay in one workspace to get the technical context I need to support my customers effectively.

 ### 41. Finally, a Tool That Adapts to My Workflow, Not the Reverse

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brallan G. | SRE & DevOps Engineer, Program Development, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

The unparalleled modularity. Notion acts as a flexible 'no-code' database that allows me to build custom workflows, from simple documentation to complex project management systems. It adapts to my thought process rather than forcing me into a rigid structure.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

The lack of a true offline mode and occasional performance lag. While the desktop app is solid, the mobile experience can be slow, especially with large databases. Not being able to fully access or edit my workspace without a stable internet connection is a significant limitation for on-the-go productivity.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves the problem of tool fragmentation. By consolidating our internal wiki, project management, and meeting notes into one platform, it drastically reduces context switching. The main benefit is having a single source of truth where documentation lives right next to the tasks, keeping the engineering team aligned and efficient.

 ### 42. Extremely Flexible Workspace for Centralized Docs, Projects, and Knowledge

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jefersson B. | Software Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

Notion is extremely flexible, allowing teams to centralize documentation, project tracking, and knowledge management in a single workspace. I especially like how customizable it is, whether I’m creating simple notes or building complex databases with relations and different views. It keeps information well organized, reduces the need to juggle multiple tools, and makes collaboration and documentation far more efficient across teams.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

Performance can occasionally become an issue, especially when working with large databases or very complex pages. Advanced permission management also remains limited for larger teams, and the offline functionality is minimal. On top of that, Notion’s flexibility can feel overwhelming at first, and it takes some time to properly structure workspaces and keep them well maintained.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Notion addresses the problem of fragmented information by bringing documentation, notes, and project knowledge into a single, centralized workspace. Instead of having files and details scattered across multiple tools, it makes it easier to organize content, keep it up to date, and quickly find what you need through search. When used as a shared knowledge base, Notion helps teams stay aligned, speeds up onboarding, and ensures important information remains accessible. Overall, it supports higher productivity, reduces duplicated work, and provides a dependable source of truth for both technical and non-technical teams.

 ### 43. Flexible All-in-One Workspace with Intuitive Design

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ayush K. | Student, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

Notion is extremely flexible and serves well as an all-in-one workspace for notes, documentation, task tracking, and project management. We are able to tailor it precisely to fit our workflow, rather than being confined to a rigid system. The user interface is clean, minimal, and intuitive. Its powerful databases, helpful templates, and seamless collaboration features further enhance the overall experience. Very easy to integrate it with various services.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

At first, the sheer number of customization options and features can feel overwhelming. I’ve noticed that performance sometimes lags when the database becomes large, which can disrupt my workflow. Customer support is quite weak, and the search function isn’t always accurate. While the platform is flexible, setting everything up correctly takes time. Overall, I’d say the learning curve is fairly steep, but it becomes much smoother once you get used to it.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Notion enables me to keep all my information, tasks, and documentation in one place, instead of having them spread out over multiple tools. This has significantly enhanced my organization, collaboration, and overall visibility, especially when managing ongoing projects. It also simplifies the process of tracking progress, ideas, and plans, making everything more organized and structured.

 ### 44. Bets all in one collaboration tool for teams

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lukas M. | Product Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 20, 2023

**What do you like best about Notion?**

Notion combines personal note taking, shared documents and databases into a single platform. If your team/organization can only choose one tool that can do it all (for budget or tool proliferation reasons), Notion is a very good candidate. Be prepared for a messy start and lots of time spent tweaking databases to fit your processes, though. The offline mode is a nice improvement!

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

People trying it for the first time often get overwhealmed by too many options to customize it. Also, search could be better (especially, when trying to mention pages).

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our team wanted to have a place to keep all the project, product and process documentation. Previously, the information was scattered in the private documents and many people were not aware that we even had those docs. We also started using Notion for planning roadmaps and personal note taking.

 ### 45. All-in-One Organization Made Effortless with Notion

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Satish M. | Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

What I like best about Notion is that everything stays in one place. I use it for notes planning and managing my work. It is flexible and easy to customize based on my needs. Pages databases and templates help me stay organized and save time. It works well for both personal use and projects and keeps things simple once you get used to it.Even u can add comments and mark complete when the project is done .

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

What I dislike about notion is that it can feel confusing at first because there are many features and options. It takes time to understand how everything works. Setting up pages and databases can feel slow in the beginning. Sometimes performance drops when pages become large. Offline access is limited which creates problems when internet is not stable. The mobile app also feels less smooth compared to the desktop version.version history is limited on free plans which can be improved .

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Notion solves the problem of managing information across different tools. Instead of using separate apps for notes tasks and planning everything can be handled in one place. This helps me stay organized and reduces confusion. I can track work manage projects and store important information together. It saves time improves focus and makes it easier to keep everything updated in one workspace and can easily be shared among peers . You can add your comments or thoughts too .

 ### 46. All-in-One Productivity Powerhouse with Flexible Workflows

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Izza U. | Project Lead, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I really like how Notion combines notes, databases, and task management all in one platform. The flexibility to create custom workflows and organize everything visually makes it easy to keep my projects, personal tasks, and team collaboration in one place. Templates are a huge plus and save a lot of time.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

Sometimes it feels a bit slow when loading large pages or databases. The learning curve can also be steep for new users because of all the customization options, and finding certain settings or features takes some time.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a project manager managing multiple social content projects, Notion has been a game-changer for keeping everything organized. Before Notion, I struggled with scattered files, missed deadlines, and juggling multiple tools for tasks, content calendars, and project tracking. Notion solves all of this by centralizing everything in one workspace. This has greatly improved my productivity and ensures nothing slips through the cracks.

 ### 47. Notion: The Ultimate All-in-One Workspace for Projects and Ideas

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** John M. | Aerospace & Defense Applications Support Lead, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

Notion is by far the best tool I've used for bringing my projects, ideas, and tasks all into a usable space without overwhelm or clutter. The databases are incredibly robust, and using the views to quickly get actionable info or create a personal dashboard has been invaluable. I've also recently started trying the AI Agents but so far they've been both helpful and genuinely exciting to use. The ease of use is impressive given how complex their database linkage can be. I've also been very happy with the ease of integration into my own workflows. As for frequency of use, I started with playing around with Notion perhaps a couple of times a week to now multiple times a day to track all of my projects.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I would prefer a bit more robustness in the calculation properties. Even just If-This-Then-Sum-That would be nice, and a VLOOKUP function would be incredible. But for those I can use my own Excel/Google Sheets when I need to.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The connective tissue between ongoing projects, specific weeklong tasks/sprints, and meeting notes can be essential to track, and losing those connections creates a ton of friction. I've used a fair number of tools to tackle this issue and so far none have done it as effectively and as pleasantly as Notion.

 ### 48. Notion Review

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** BARIS SAMED Y. | Student, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 27, 2023

**What do you like best about Notion?**

The dashboard remains a great central hub for my work, and I still find the writing utilities very effective for staying organized.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I had a poor experience with the billing system during a break. My payment didn’t go through because I wasn't using the app during the holidays, but instead of reverting me to the basic plan, I was billed again for a term I didn't use. Unlike Spotify or YouTube, which usually just suspend service until you pay, I felt forced into a billing term for a period of inactivity. To make matters worse, after paying, I still couldn't access the previous month's service. The 'downgrade' logic needs to be much fairer for users who take a break.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Writing with AI helps me with my writing assignments. As a STEM student it saves my timr.

 ### 49. Versatile, Visualization-Rich Tool That’s Become My Go-To Management Database

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Leonardo Z. | Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

The versatility for being so much more than just a schedule. All the visualizations for the data and how ou can automate tasks. It's my new go-to tool for management database.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I feel limited by the lack of freedom to do more. Some features, like certain connections and unlimited AI, seem like they could be available on smaller plans as well. I also wish I could build more automations and have more flexibility when editing the databases.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My main issue was that my organization lived inside Google Suite (Sheets and Forms). With Notion, I feel more secure and I have more options to visualize my database. I ended up building a design hub in Notion, with lots of automations and integrations, which made everything feel more organized and easier to manage.

 ### 50. Notion is Great for Project Management and Life Organization

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ronald L. | Owner, Producer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

Notion is great in that it is very customizable for all my project management, notes, even helping me organize my personal life. The pages and databases are feature areas I use all the time.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I was on the first personal plan and had the AI addon. I was forced to join the business account which cost significantly more..... I feel this transition should have happened smoother over time so the sudden price shock wouldn't be as impactful.

Also, I have been asking Notion support to add this one feature for years now but they haven't: the feature is the ability to set the width to "Full Width" for all pages by default, via a toggle. Would be very easy to do, other Notion users have told me they want it, but Notion has not taken note.

The weakness for Notion is it doesn't handle photo and video galleries very well, its very clunky to manage photo libraries in Notion.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Notion helps me design a project management area where I can sort different data, notes, etc... into different sections and then publish or share them to my colleagues.
