I can train citizen developers of almost any skill level to successfully automate their own processes with these tools in a few hours. Ease of use is where Nintex shines. They have flexibility and functionality to match most of their competitors, but they are much easier to use. **What do you dislike about Nintex?** There isn't much to dislike. Adding connections in Nintex Workflow Cloud is a little more complicated than other tools since connections may be unique to the software connected to. Another minor issue is that while there is a ton of documentation on the Web for Nintex tools, it's not well tagged by version, which can make self-support harder for nonexpert users, who are the ideal Nintex users. **What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?** I'm lucky because my company uses me to instruct other users on how to use Nintex and similar citizen development tools. As such, I have been able to help others to automate many different types of approval processes and hand integrations. The largest one I built myself was a four-step approval for creating cost codes in our financial system, which then generates an automatic request process for adding and approving work orders under that new cost code. ### 6. I like that it is a nice software that allows communication between our data entry in salesforce to the DocuSign tool. **What do you dislike about Nintex?** I dislike the lag time; it takes too long to load. In addition, some of the fields from the SFDC opportunity are off between that and when I click generate. I wish I could add in more pieces of info but thats probably done on behalf of our company admin. My role is a sales development consultant and we are only subject tto putting in fields that are minimal. In an ideal world, I'd love to be able to fill out more fields and have better autonomy over what pulls instead of it being pre-set. **What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?** The problem I am solving is to have that gap piece between SFDC and DocuSign, so everything is seamless. The benefit I have realized is that it's compatible, updates all data accurately and removes using any outside tools minimizing data entry. It is super intuitive and straightforward to set up the Forms and put them to use in the Nintex Bot. The low-code approach to the bot allows anyone who is computer savvy to use it, and you don't need to be a developer. I absolutely think it matches up to the other 'Big 3' (Power Automate, UI Path, Blue Prism) **What do you dislike about Nintex?** I wish that there were more features possible. Luckily, we haven't needed anything more than it provides right now, but we will in the future, and if we need to scale it, I am afraid this will not satisfy our requirements. I could be totally off base on this, but from what I have seen, this will be the case. **Recommendations to others considering Nintex:** This product is a quick learning, low-code approach platform that any business user that knows their way around a computer can use. Better UI than Flow and easier to design usable forms for users to interact with. Good integration with a lot of 3rd party products. Works very well wiht o365 suite products. RPA Offering is good, is not as sophisticated as some of the huge players, but the big upside to that is that interface for RPA is actually usable by a Power User / Jr. Developer level employee. **What do you dislike about Nintex?** Support is probably best described as 'best effort'. There is no SLA for actual resolution times and issues can take days or weeks to resolve sometimes. Overall downtime has been a 'B' with minor outages occurring on some part of the platform every few weeks. Most do not impact overall functionality but may impact one integration or authentication etc. The cloud workflow designer does not currently support any level of error handling which can make designing around potential issues very difficult. **Recommendations to others considering Nintex:** This product is a solid choice for back-office automation tasks. The platform is growing and maturing, but I would not currently recommend it for mission critical / near zero downtime tasks **What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?** intra-office workflows for requesting, approving and completing insurance documents.
