All marketing solutions are bundled into one single tool. Easy, attractive KPIs and graphs, great for presentations and understanding the marketing and the product.

NinjaCat can be overwhelming with many options if you are not a Marketing person. The initial phase, when you want to create an account and have to go through an interview first, is also bothersome.

It helps me understand how a product demand currently is in each different area I want it to be sold, making it easier for me to know how to properly handle its marketing.

Automated reporting sent by email on a regular basis to stakeholders. There are also many native connectors that make setup pretty simple.

**What do you dislike about NinjaCat?**

We were unable to connect some of our non-native connectors.
The template editor is slow and no auto-save!

**What problems is NinjaCat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Secure platform that connects to most of our marketing stack and alows for all-in-one reporting.

**What do you like best about NinjaCat?**

The onboarding and training teams and customer support they have provided.

**What do you dislike about NinjaCat?**

That it cannot display data or calculate metrics in a single table across time periods or data sources. For all of our metrics, we want to see month over month or period over period and you can't do that in a single table or really within the platform. So we have to build that as a custom metric outside of NinjaCat and import them in.

**What problems is NinjaCat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

So far it is not solving any of our problems. We are hopeful that we will get it to the point where we have better visualization and can quickly send monthly reports to all parties. We aren't there yet. Setup is taking much longer than we anticipated.

It helps save significant time in putting together manual reports and displays information in a useful and eye-catching way.

**What do you dislike about NinjaCat?**

There are often bugs that cause information to be displayed inaccurately, and downloading reports to try and fix them manually leads to random changes.

**What problems is NinjaCat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is mainly a time-saving tool, and it saves us time by putting together reports to display information automatically so we don't have to add too many insights.

**What do you like best about NinjaCat?**

Their support team was always very helpful and responsive, answering questions and concerns very quickly. Clients like the output from the dashboards which were much more details than your typical GDS dash.

**What do you dislike about NinjaCat?**

Sometimes the user interface could be a bit clunky and not as intuitive as other tools we have used previously. Nothing super tricky to figure out, just a bit more time consuming in the long run.

Their alternative for dashboarding and data visualization was much preferred to the usual, standard Google Data Studio dashboard. A cleaner, more concise way to view existing data.

The thing is that many customization options are beneficial for my reports. Also, I like how usseful it is to work together on the same information as my coworkers.

The thing I like the most is that it is not very easy to use at the beginning, it isn´t intuitive.

The integration of other reporting methods into a single, easy-to-read report for clients is wonderful.  A visual story of how campaigns are performing helps bridge the gap between adops teams and clients.

**What do you like best about NinjaCat?**

When we first started using NinjaCat I found the onboarding/training to be very thorough, and while there is a pretty substantial learning curve support is very responsive and helps you learn new things as you go. They have always been patient with my questions while I was still learning the system. As a previous NinjaCat user I find the current version to be very easy to use and looks much nice than it did just a few years ago.

**What do you dislike about NinjaCat?**

The NinjaCat specialist (can't remember her actual title) whole built our initial report was a little flaky and hard to work with, she did some odd things to the report that I don't think other people at NinjaCat would have done. She no longer works for the NinjaCat but I think this was the only dislike from my team.

**What problems is NinjaCat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

NinjaCat helps us efficiently pull all of our data into one place to then send to our clients. Previously reporting was done manually by our CSMs and was very time-consuming, it was also not consistent from CSM to CSM. By using NinjaCat we are able to ensure every client gets the same quality report and save time for our CSMs.

We typically have a handful of weekly ad reports for our political clients that need replicated and updated regularly and Ninjacat is great for that.

The budget tool is so helpful for adding or subtracting incremental from your budget and having the daily budget update accordingly.

I wish some of the UI had more features, like ideal daily spend compared to actual daily spend in the same view.

**What do you like best about NinjaCat?**

There are a fair amount of connectors that you can bring in. If you do not have the need to blend or manipulate, your data then this should present a decent enough connector for you to show data.

**What do you dislike about NinjaCat?**

Data
- The capabilities are very limited, especially if you want to manipulate data
- Their connectors are far from complete so, for example, if you want some basic Facebook data you will need to schedule daily emails which won't be parsed until EOD, making this far from real-time

Visualization
- Editing in the backend of NinjaCat is what I imagine using the very first version of PowerPoint ever made would be like
- You can get to your end result, but it is unbelievably complicated and not user-friendly to get there, especially when free tools like Data Studio exist with SUBSTANTIALLY better visualization capabilities

Price
- If this was an all-in-one data and visualization tool it would still be pretty expensive, but the data use case pales in comparison to true data tools like Funnel
- So using this primarily for visualization, compared to much better (and free) tools like Data Studio, there is just no way to justify the price point for this tool

This platform is probably ok for agencies/brands who are very data remedial and want a quick way to get 101 data into a dashboard without it needing to look great

**What problems is NinjaCat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

To be completely honest, NinjaCat ended up creating more problems for us than they solved. We previously had excellent agency engagement with our dashboard, but since using NinjaCat our engagement has gone way down as the user-experience and inability to blend data has made this very challenging to use and not worth their expense

For our advertisers (accounts) checking and creation, and advertiser networks creation, NinjaCat provided excellent documentation, communication for questions, and demonstrations on how to use NinjaCat APIs. This allows us, as customers, to integrate with the NinjaCat system easily with much less effort and complete tasks much faster.

Everyone was so friendly and helpful throughout the whole process, and they made everything super easy.  They made the process more fun than just showing us what to do and us having to hope for the best.  Their support has been super responsive and time-sensitive, so I would highly recommend them to anyone.  The platform is also super intuitive making everything super easy.

**What do you dislike about NinjaCat?**

So far, we only have a few limitations with our CallRail integrations and making sure those metrics show up properly in the reporting.

**What problems is NinjaCat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The metrics are more accurate than previous reporting software we've used, and it's much easier to use.

**What do you like best about NinjaCat?**

NinjaCat has a clean interface and the flexibility to pull the reports we want without jumping through hoops. We like that it can pull reliable metrics straight from Google Analytics quickly and also really enjoy the custom data source capability, allowing us to display data from sources we would have normally just screenshot before.

**What do you dislike about NinjaCat?**

The learning curve is very high - there is a lot of back end work to be done to get the tool to function properly, but they have a fantastic onboarding team to help with it. There were still a lot of hours spent on training and onboarding.

**Recommendations to others considering NinjaCat:**

The cost and onboarding time is lengthy but worth it if you value granular data, the ability to pull from multiple sources, and the ability to create custom, attractive templates.

**What problems is NinjaCat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We wanted to be able to pull accurate data from multiple sources (Google Analytics, Facebook Ads, Google Ads, etc.) and showcase them in an easy-to-understand template for our clients. This has, so far, been the most attractive reporting tool we've used once set up was complete, and we've had no issues with data accuracy since launch.

Absolutely nothing - their dashboard insights are always off from the platforms, their customer service reps are not knowledgeable, and they will try to scam you into their year long contracts that auto-renew.

Besides our numbers being wrong from what we see in platform, their customer service is poor. We had a dedicated rep and when he left we were told we just got to use general support going forward. Additionally, they are now trying to rope us into a year-long contract based on auto-renewal when another team member at NC told us we could cancel after 3 months. Absurd.

We have been using it for about a year and a half. We have been just trying to get reports to load. They load slow, and when say slow meaning 10-15 minutes to load a report and many times they timeout and never load at all. Support thinks we should change the format and a few other things, so we did that, and it still does not work, so they offered to build them for us and still same issues. Sitting in meetings with a client and taking 10-15 minutes to get a basic report 1-page report to load or it will never load at all makes this $60,000 plus we gave them an actual waste of our time and money. We have over $60,000 and over 250 hours of our time to have a product that adds no value to our business. We moved back to our previous provider that does not have as many features, but more features are useless if they do not work.

The top 2 benefits for us are the customization available in the platform and the customer service team. The customer support team has impressive problem-solving skills, and they are super quick to respond. It's such a pleasure to work with a team that actually cares about solving the problem for us. We do many things other companies don't do, and this team has been so willing to stretch and work with us to make things happen.

**What do you dislike about NinjaCat?**

We could use a Second Street integration as well as one for Matchcraft. Also, the initial template setup can be pretty complicated. Because we customize our templates to such a degree, we spend a lot of time changing templates from month to month to keep up with campaign changes. Sometimes there are issues with the Powerpoint downloads, and we need to edit the templates to get rid of text boxes that fall out of place.

This is a really great platform with some really smart people behind it. Where it may lack in being intuitive at times is more than made up for with the capabilities and support you receive from the teams.

We were manually getting data from all our vendors and creating our reports that way. It's been a huge time saver to have this done for us. We are finally able to put our reporting time focus on strategizing for clients. There's a lot to be said in being able to look at the data to tell a story vs. pulling the data manually and then having the time and capacity to analyze it all. Plus, we take a very customized approach with the solutions we provide for our clients and we need a platform that is nimble enough to provide metrics on what we think is important.

I love the customer support team. I know they are reliable and will get back to me once they've reviewed my request. I even received a screen recording from a team member showing me how to fix something on a client report. Customer service is so important to me and my team.

I don't always like how hard it is to troubleshoot why something isn't showing the correct data, but the customer service team always figures it out for me. I also REALLY wish there was a "back/undo" button. It's also impossible to paste things into a text widget unless you use CTRL+V. The main thing I'd like to see improved though is adding an undo button.

Ninja Cat helps me display a ton of data to my clients in a digestible report. Our templates look beautiful, especially when viewed as the PDF by the client. It allows me to give more time to my work and less time to reporting because it automatically runs for me every month.

The original account managers at NinjaCat were very good. The new account managers will hit you up for fictitious massive rate increases saying it's your annual review, then when you contest the rate increase and threaten to go to their competitors, will come back and say they got you a smoking deal to stay the same rate. Very used car salesmen feel about the whole process.  Beware they will also "automatically renew" your contract for a year saying you agreed to it...however their Terms & Conditions are hyperlinked off the agreement you sign, so you have no recourse to contest.  I do not recommend...there are way better and way less expensive alternatives out there that accomplish the same exact thing....at a fraction of the cost these guys charge.

The variety of data connections and widgets available for use + ability to import customized data are my favorite things about NinjaCat. On top of this, NinjaCat has an exceptional customer service team available at all times. If I ever have a question or an issue, I always get a response within 24hrs. No other platform provides that kind of service and is one of the reasons I continue to enjoy using it!

**What do you dislike about NinjaCat?**

There tends to be a lack of reliability of widget auto updates (they do not work well especially on the 1st of the month with automatic updates). I normally have to manually check widgets each month before I pull the reports to ensure they are all functioning properly and are not broken. I have to review the data anyways so it is not a huge deal; but, can be frustrating when the same widget breaks month over month for no apparent reason. 

I have also had some data connectivity issues with certain platforms that were unable to be fixed even with the help of the amazing support team. It seems to be a bug but again hinders my ability to submit.

**What problems is NinjaCat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am able to report real time data to clients and have realized the benefit of widget variety which allows me to present it to my clients in a digestible way even if they are not well versed in it. I enjoy the dashboard features as well - they are easy to share and toggle back and forth between different timeframes when providing data insights to my clients.

The drag-and-drop editor actually works pretty well.  (I was a bit of a skeptic.) It was easy to pull in multiple data sources (e.g., Google Analytics and Google Search Console) that can't be visualized efficiently within the Google Analytics UI or Google Data Studio. (For the latter, you can absolutely pull in those data sources, but it would take longer to build a report.)

There are a fair number of snap-to-grid features that avoid some of the tedium of reporting building.

**What do you dislike about NinjaCat?**

It can take a while to update the data, so as you're tweaking a metric or reports, you often spend time waiting for things to load. I don't know if there's much that can be done about that, but, overall it makes the interface feel a bit clunky.

I find the division between dashboards, reports, and templates to be a bit unintuitive. Your first time in the NinjaCat interface, you should expect to spend some time getting your bearings. Even after that, it sometimes takes a few clicks to get where you want to go.

**Recommendations to others considering NinjaCat:**

The more data sources you have to report from, the higher the value of the product. If you need to build reports only from Google Analytics data, you probably don't need a third-party reporting tool like this.

**What problems is NinjaCat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use NinjaCat for reporting at a digital marketing agency. It's quicker than creating manual reports, and the customization saves a bit of time compared to, say, for example, building out similar reports in Google Data Studio.

We spent several years trying to build our own reporting system, and, ultimately, trying to manage (internally) all the API connections (which constantly break and change) proved to be inefficient. NinjaCat definitely pushes that burden to their team, which allows us to focus on other things.

A great tool that enables us to integrate all the different sources that we use for advertising and information gathering (Bing Ads, Google Ads & Analytics, Facebook, GMB, Call Rail, Google sheets...) into the reports that we share with our clients and for internal purposes. It's super intuitive and easy to manage. All the metrics can be customized. Our account manager Karie and the support team have been of great help resolving and following up on any question or issue that we have.

NinjaCat simplifies the process of blending multiple data sources and then pushing them to their final destination.  The point-in-time reporting is best in class. **What do you like best about NinjaCat?**

To be able to create reports and templates easily. I use Campaign Manager and DV360 a lot and I like that the data from DV360 is also available from CM.
I would like to create a template for my team to use to take actions on optimizations

**What do you dislike about NinjaCat?**

There is sometimes some lag but not too bad.

**What problems is NinjaCat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

easy way to pull reports without pulling a ton of excel sheets from different platforms
comparing results between channels (Facebook vs programmatic) at the same place

**What do you like best about NinjaCat?**

Once you understand it, it is fairly easy to use. KPI bars make it very easy to see where things are at a glance

**What do you dislike about NinjaCat?**

Reports can break easily, and the system can often get overloaded easily and slow down reporting pull times

**What problems is NinjaCat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The library for integrating GA rules is very useful, the set up of widgets is also pretty straightforward which makes them easy to troubleshoot if data is pulling in wrong or not at all
