## Nexthink Reviews
  ### 1. Nexthink provides the visibility we were missing

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matt F. | Senior TechOps Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 01, 2024

**What do you like best about Nexthink?**

Nexthink has given us an easy way to see our device data that we didn't have prior. The ability to see trending issues in our environment has been a game changer for our support teams. The product is frequently updated with new features; the support is excellent and customers have the opportunity to interact and share ideas and experiences. Integration with ServiceNow is also a great benefit.

**What do you dislike about Nexthink?**

The NQL language has a bit of a learning curve for beginners (but Infinity has a very helpful visual editor!) My organization doesn't have the resources to have a team dedicated to Nexthink/DEX so I'm sure we're not getting as much use from the product as we could.

**What problems is Nexthink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The ability to see applications that have performance issues across multiple devices at a glance. Remote Actions allow us to quickly deploy mitigation steps or gather data. Campaigns allow us to easily interact with our end users to get real-time feedback.

**Official Response from Charlotte Arrowsmith:**

> Thank you for your detailed review, Matt! So pleased to hear Nexthink has been a game changer for your support teams. Love to hear you've been able to interact with other customers and share your ideas and experiences too.

  ### 2. Complete IT Visibility and Proactive DEX Insights with Nexthink

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pardeep R. | Senior System Engineer, Architecture & Planning, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Nexthink?**

Nexthink is a Digital Employee Experience (DEX) tool used by enterprises to monitor, analyze, and improve employees’ IT experience across devices, apps, and the network.

It provides complete visibility into the IT environment, helps with proactive issue detection and resolution, and supports automation and self-healing to reduce recurring problems. It also offers a Digital Employee Experience (DEX) score to help track and understand the overall employee IT experience.

**What do you dislike about Nexthink?**

High cost. The implementation can be complex, and there’s a steep learning curve to get up to speed. In some cases, I’ve noticed performance overhead as well. I also have privacy and compliance concerns, and integration can be challenging depending on the existing setup.

**What problems is Nexthink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

1. Lack of visibility into end-user issues

Problem:
IT teams often don’t know what users are actually experiencing (slow laptop, app crashes, VPN issues) unless someone raises a ticket.

What Nexthink does:
It provides real-time monitoring across devices, applications, and the network, and it surfaces data that reflects the real end-user experience.

Benefit to you:
You’re no longer working blindly. Instead, you can spot issues earlier and be proactive rather than purely reactive.

2. Too many IT support tickets

Problem:
Support teams get overloaded with repetitive, recurring issues (slow systems, login delays, Teams issues), which takes time away from more important work.

What Nexthink does:
It helps detect patterns across users and can automate fixes through self-healing scripts.

Benefit to you:
This can lead to a significant reduction in ticket volume and free up more time for strategic work.

  ### 3. Revolutionized Our Network Support Operations

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ananya T. | Graduate Engineer Trainee , Information Technology and Services, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Nexthink?**

I like that with Nexthink, I don't have to text users on Teams to run commands and share results because I can directly get the desired details I want. I appreciate getting real-time deep data of the hardware and software which is available through Nexthink. It saves a lot of time and effort because previously I needed to ask users to run commands in the command prompt, but now I can get lots of information by simply entering the user's email ID or their corporate ID. It helps maintain MTTR as well. Setting up Nexthink was very easy and fast, and it didn't take much of our time to set up or integrate.

**What do you dislike about Nexthink?**

Till now whatever I use I find it very helpful but one feature I want Nexthink to have is the ability to change or modify setting in users systems directly from Nexthink. It will save our time as sometime when I have to change some Wi-Fi setting in users system lets say we have to change roaming aggressiveness from Medium to Medium-Low, if we get direct option from Nexthink, it will save our time

**What problems is Nexthink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nexthink saves time by eliminating the need to ask users to run commands for Wi-Fi details and IP checks. I can get real-time deep data on hardware and software, improving efficiency in troubleshooting and maintaining MTTR.

  ### 4. Empowers Digital Experience with Innovative Features

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** John K. | Sr. Service Delivery Mgr., Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Nexthink?**

I use Nexthink for digital experience monitoring, and it helps me understand the health of our estate and the experience of our employees with the technology available to them. I like that Nexthink is continuing to evolve to meet the needs of our environment. New product offerings such as Spark and Flow provide even greater opportunities to streamline improvements for our employees. Spark's AI capabilities will enable our users to better understand the performance of their own systems and address most common issues without the need to call the Service Desk. Flow will allow us to further streamline the user experience by building repeatable automated solutions for fixing issues before they become a problem.

**What do you dislike about Nexthink?**

I'd like to see improvements to the Campaigns. The formatting can be somewhat limiting. Would be great to be able to create more complex branching and also the ability to include better graphics. Improved logo size and quality as well as complex branching on questions. Dashboards are a bit basic. I would be great to have more creative control for visuals in the dashboards.

**What problems is Nexthink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nexthink helps us monitor digital experience and identify trends in device and application performance, allowing us to address issues early. Spark's AI will soon enable users to resolve common issues independently, while Flow streamlines user experience with automated solutions.

  ### 5. From Reactive to Proactive its a journey and a change of mindset

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Luca B. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 15, 2023

**What do you like best about Nexthink?**

Flow feature is very promising. Currently we are started the usage of these new module but the automation capabilities increases a lot. And looking forward to test Spark

**What do you dislike about Nexthink?**

Some minor details in the old module, like more personalization of Campaign in term of layout. Another important upgrade should be the possibility to use public certification authorities for Remote Action sign off.

**What problems is Nexthink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The initial analysis of a wider disturbance in IT enviroment is always complicated. Having some hard fact to validate or discard your assumption is a fast way forward

In addition the data are not manipulated, so the trasparency on about what is happening is a value that make the difference in a stakeholder comm

  ### 6. Nexthink: A Vital and Resourceful Tool in Our Kit

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Louis B. | Application Support Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 18, 2024

**What do you like best about Nexthink?**

What I like best about Nexthink is its utility for our 1st and 2nd line support teams. Nexthink is a tool used daily and it enables us to proactively monitor issues and reduce initial ticket numbers effectively. Additionally, it simplifies remote tasks, making them just a click away. The customer suppport is very reactive and quick, the team at Nexthink are very delightful to work with on integrating new tools and make it easy for us to use nexthink as a whole.

**What do you dislike about Nexthink?**

I have not encountered any downsides with Nexthink, as it has consistently proven to be a positive tool for our team.

**What problems is Nexthink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nexthink is allowing us to have a more proactive approach towards our technical issues, this allows us to make more time to upskill our support desks and to have a good technical experience for our customers

  ### 7. Has always provided great insights into device data. Now with Workflow and Spark we can start to run automation to self repair for exampke

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adrian B. | External Device Performance Consultant | Nexthink SME and Administration, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 04, 2023

**What do you like best about Nexthink?**

I have started to use workflow and it’s a game changer. You can use the already invaluable data and start using proactive repair

**What do you dislike about Nexthink?**

Documentation and sharing good ideas around

**What problems is Nexthink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have a issue with Outlook Addins crashing Outlook alot of times. Nexthink is working with us to provide out Colaboration team and Microsoft the data after every crash so we can get to the bottom of what is causing the crashes. We also have a number of drivers crashing. n the past 3 months we have removed unnessesary drivers from our devices, which in September crashed 90,000 times.

  ### 8. Endless Nexthink Use Cases

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Nexthink?**

Friendly and good support. They hear about their user voices and try to make the product as good as possible.
Easy to use UI and many Integrations to other leader products as well. If there is no integration, you can easily set it up your own.
Quiet fast at fetching information and pushing remediations.

**What do you dislike about Nexthink?**

Very expansive but it is possible to regain the value, if you use the product right and if you make sure that you keep using it. The use cases of Nexthink are quiet endless.

**What problems is Nexthink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is solving many issues. With the posibility of automations like Remote Action and flow you can gather many information, that where unseen before. You can automate anything as far as if you can use PowerShell. Also the investigation feature is very handy to analyze your whole fleet.

  ### 9. NexThink - An Innovative Monitoring tool rising to shape many future

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 12, 2023

**What do you like best about Nexthink?**

Real‑time visibility into employee experience, with actionable insights that let you proactively fix issues before users complain.

**What do you dislike about Nexthink?**

It can be complex and expensive — setup and customization take time, licensing costs are high, and some actions still require skilled admins rather than being fully self‑service.

**What problems is Nexthink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

NexThink proactively helps to identify many issue related to hardware, softwares, applications, network, and many other issues and enhancements in the environment. As depicted by the name itself " Digital Experience Monitoring" tool, NexThink really helps to resolve the issues and improves user experience and productivity even before the end user is aware of. NexThink also helps to reduce the efforts of differents teams/towers by automating many tasks.

  ### 10. Simplifies Network Troubleshooting Effortlessly

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Divyanshu V. | Software Engineer, Information Technology and Services, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Nexthink?**

I like the simple UI of Nexthink and I love the fact that I can check device details of users without getting into their systems. The initial setup was so easy.

**What do you dislike about Nexthink?**

I haven't faced anything which could be improved but we can get options to change system settings directly of users' laptops without even getting to their system. It would be more helpful. As now, we can only check those details and to make changes, we need to go to the user's system via remote access.

**What problems is Nexthink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Nexthink for checking network performance, diagnosing issues like slow internet and app problems, and it helps me identify exact user issues to resolve tickets efficiently.

  ### 11. Fast Troubleshooting with Some UI Challenges

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jack R. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Nexthink?**

I love how extremely fast Nexthink is - by the time my finger finishes clicking the button, responses have already started to roll in. It also makes it very simple to coordinate complex workflows, which is a big plus for me.

**What do you dislike about Nexthink?**

User interfaces are often not designed with common support workflows in mind. Data can be very hard to access in context. NQL is often not well-documented or intuitive. Nexthink's own AI struggles to write functional NQL. One look at Workflow tells me the designer has never used it (no copy and paste?!?).

**What problems is Nexthink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Nexthink for measuring employee digital experience, preventing issues, and troubleshooting. It instantly returns data to troubleshoot and rolls out remediations at scale.

  ### 12. A tool that helps you stay ahead of the curve

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joe D. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 21, 2023

**What do you like best about Nexthink?**

The changes that are mad constantly to keep the tool user friendly and simple to apply. Nexthink listens to client feedback a genuinely tries to act on it

**What do you dislike about Nexthink?**

There’s not much at the moment I can think of to drastically improve the tool

**What problems is Nexthink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nexthink helps us keep track of the stability of our businesses core apps. We can trend a graph stability across long periods so that when there is a problem, we spot and resolve it quickly

  ### 13. Myexperience with nexthink

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** poorna R. | System admin, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 19, 2024

**What do you like best about Nexthink?**

The ability to figureout the dex score of multiple devices in a effective and user friendly way. It can also be integrated into multiple platforms. Customer support, implementation, the frequent use of nexthink portal.

**What do you dislike about Nexthink?**

Nexthink is limited when it comes to documents in the web

**What problems is Nexthink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nexthink is connecting with the endpoint users through campaigns and resolving their issues using remote actions. Its becoming ease when compared with connecting through ticket raising or any other means if support.

  ### 14. Real-Time Monitoring Transforms Issue Resolution, But Table Joining Needs Improvement

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Curtis W. | Systems Administrator, Senior, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Nexthink?**

Real time event monitoring that allows for direct correlation of the current environment to specific issues. Removes the guess work in terms of how to best proceed to address issues. This applies not only to new issues that are discovered but also allow for identifying and resolving issues that have traditionally eluded easy remediations. Having items like Workflows in our toolset allows us to put in place checks to ensure devices are performing optimally and relieving those frictions points for our Business Partners. No longer do they have to suffer in silence as we can identify and remediate issues that would otherwise go unreported. Nexthink has also shown to be easily adoptable by L1 analysts as they make use of it daily and have some of the highest engagement in our organization. Anytime changes are made to the product the changes are well documented along with additional training that can be used to assist with best use of newly added features. Anytime issues are encountered where a support ticket is needed, they are very responsive and willing to assist without the communications becoming overbearing, engagement seems to be in a good spot in that regard. With the collector being natively installed and updates occurring at nice pace we don't have to overly concern ourselves with how to best integrate the product offering in our environment from an implantation standpoint. Its easily managed allowing more time to focus on DEX improvements.

**What do you dislike about Nexthink?**

One of the items I constantly struggle with is the ability to easily join different tables within investigations. If there was a way to make this happen natively or allow for ease of access when attempting to join tables it would be huge. The ability to easily tie devices to users\departments based on Azure ingestion versus CSV imports would be a game changer. Limited monitors from an alerting standpoint as we have multiple Tier 1 apps, we would like to account for an alert on but have to be very selective in setup. I understand why this is the case, but it is something that causes potential unnecessary pain points in that space.

**What problems is Nexthink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Issues with disk space on both shared and non-shared devices, assists with Windows OS updates allowing the ability for the Business Partner to self-serve and update on their terms prior to mandatory deployment, BSOD remediation and driver compliance items with the ability to push drivers to devices when needed and again allow for them to select a time for a driver category that could possibly cause disruption to be ran. Allows for use to be more efficient from a deployment stance as we can first check any binary that is to be updated with use of Binary Profiling then if deployed, we can monitor the devices receiving the package via our Baseline Dashboard. Microsoft Teams Room monitoring to make sure those rooms are up and running when needed since they are not used daily removing the need for analyst to check onsite or with use of other tools that do not provide the insights that Nexthink provides. It allows for us to place an application in AppEx that is being tested and provide insights to the app owners so they can adjust as needed prior to the app going into Production. No longer is it a situation where a new application is placed into the environment and not being able to know or understand the impact it will have, we can see this well before implementation. This list could go on forever, essentially it is helping us solve the problem of how to best deliver services to the Business Partner and do so as a collaborative team member\partner versus the old ways of performing IT related changes (push it an hope the best).

  ### 15. Insightful User Sentiment Visualization Elevates Monitoring

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Deana M. | Senior Software Application Engineer, Hospital & Health Care, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Nexthink?**

The sentiments of the users versus the technical metrics are visualized, and it is an advancement. It lets you observe that though the processor consumption appears normal, the large latency truly annoys the user. This situation channels the dichotomy between green dashboards and angry support tickets that prove that the system is solely fine as the user claims.

**What do you dislike about Nexthink?**

To fully benefit from the investigations, you must master a specific syntax, which can hinder quick ad hoc analysis. The steep learning curve makes it difficult for casual users to explore the data freely without undergoing specialized training.

**What problems is Nexthink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is necessary software in the case of managing fleets of large corporations whose user experience is a KPI. It offers the visibility to maximize the digital workplace but is excessive in small environments. It makes IT proactive as opposed to reactive. It minimizes the number of helpdesk tickets, hence allowing time to be used on real improvements.

  ### 16. Nexthink is a crucial tool to aid investigation and identify issues across your organisation.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dan S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 22, 2023

**What do you like best about Nexthink?**

The integrated ai is handy to write custom remote actions and for investigating.

**What do you dislike about Nexthink?**

Maybe improve how smooth it is to switch between NQL and visual editor.

**What problems is Nexthink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mainly idintifying automating remedy of issues with endpoints via the use of remote actions working from schedules, alongside making it easy to see what is causing problems on target devices for the use of service desk and desktop agents.

  ### 17. Empowering our business to transform employee experience

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matt C. | Product Owner - End User Productivity and Compute, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 25, 2025

**What do you like best about Nexthink?**

Working with the company has been a pleasure. Everyone we've interacted with has been open and helpful, taking the time to educate us on how they contribute to our employee experience transformation journey. The Infinity platform offers us multiple opportunities to move quickly, enhance employee experience, and gain a deeper understanding of our ecosystem. Implementing the solution was straightforward, and we received the support we needed whenever we faced any issues. We look forward to partnering with Nexthink in the years ahead as we continue our transformational journey.

**What do you dislike about Nexthink?**

We have encountered certain limitations with the current platform that affect how we would like to use it. We are looking forward to collaborating with their product development teams to explore possible creative solutions and to see how some of the enhancements we need might align with their overall roadmap.

**What problems is Nexthink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

At first, our focus is on the most common opportunities: optimizing application licenses, providing our global support teams with more data to improve first call resolution rates and reduce mean time to resolve, gathering employee sentiment, and gaining insights into hardware performance across different user personas to ensure technology is appropriately sized. We also aim to support other stakeholders throughout the enterprise by offering more data on how employees interact with, utilize, and experience their products. Looking further ahead, we plan to address longer-term challenges such as service or QoS alerting, as well as integrating with other systems like HRIS, enterprise architecture, and contract management to support a range of use cases.

  ### 18. DEX is the core for enhancing IT

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sherif M. | Professional Services Consultant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Nexthink?**

AI support is very useful. It helps with issue troubleshooting and allows for a deeper dive to identify the root cause.

**What do you dislike about Nexthink?**

Nothing to complain about—everything is perfect. The support team and the documentation were very helpful.

**What problems is Nexthink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It’s been very helpful for managing my end users and improving their digital employee experience.

  ### 19. Nexthink - DEX leader

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 17, 2024

**What do you like best about Nexthink?**

Nexthink is the market leader in the DEX space. Being able to view real-time metrics from our workstations is extremely beneficial and helps us respond quickly when issues arise. Nexthink’s curated content, rapid pace of innovation, solid documentation, and free training all contribute to making it a winning solution.

**What do you dislike about Nexthink?**

Sometimes the NQL language can be hard to grasp, especially if you don’t use it regularly.

**What problems is Nexthink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It lacks the ability to monitor workstations, which I need in order to react to issues in a timely manner.

  ### 20. One year with Nexthink transformed my career

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ryan W. | IT Architect, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Nexthink?**

Nexthink provides a level of insight that I never realized I was lacking. Alerts and automated solutions have transformed our support structure, to the extent that Nexthink generates more Incident tickets per month than are reported by our users. Our agents and project managers find themselves engaging with our custom dashboards on a daily basis, applying real-time metrics to simplify and augment their specific tasks and workflows.

We have made heavy use of the Application Experience and Software Metering functionality to drive our user-engagement with new and emerging technologies; especially applicable to the myriad AI and LLM tools that users increasingly rely on.

**What do you dislike about Nexthink?**

Nexthink seem to be targeted at and designed for large organizations. Dashboards that exist by default or are downloaded from the Nexthink Library present KPI summaries rather than granular details related to DEX. It can be time-consuming to manually duplicate and edit these dashboards to tailor the data to the needs of a smaller IT Management and Operations team who have a very close relationship with end-users.

**What problems is Nexthink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nexthink unites our user experience data into a single pane of glass. Our application owners no longer need to collect usage data, page load metrics, and outage timestamps from multiple different sources; Nexthink provides all of that and more in a simple, easy to understand interface. Alerts and webhooks have completely changed the way that we identify problems and incidents, allowing us to quickly understand and respond to issues in less than half the time that was required before Nexthink.

  ### 21. Exceptional End-User Insights and Growing AI Value

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Nexthink?**

My team is highly focused on the end user experience from a sentiment lens. I love the visibility that Nexthink brings to the end user experience. The increasing AI capabilities are adding value to the sentiment data as well.

**What do you dislike about Nexthink?**

I find some of the OOB reporting capabilities lacking for end users who are not skilled in coding or running queries in Nexthink; as a "non-technical" user, I'd like the ability to adjust reporting filters on sentiment data, comments, etc. as needed.

**What problems is Nexthink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nexthink allows my organization to get a view into our end users experience with technology, not just through the lens of performance of the technology but also (and I think just as importantly) through the lens of their sentiment about the technology provided to them. This allows us to understand pain points and sets us up to look for strategic opportunities to solve for end user experience, vs. being reactive to issues that arise in the environment.

  ### 22. Comprehensive Monitoring, But Employee Experience Needs Improvement

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Nexthink?**

Nexthink has proven to be extremely valuable for our IT team, enabling us to effectively monitor and diagnose technology issues that employees encounter, as well as track productivity. This tool is both comprehensive and supportive, helping our team not only to prevent problems from arising over time but also to address them promptly as they occur.

**What do you dislike about Nexthink?**

This service can be quite complex, with a steep learning curve before you can use it confidently. Additionally, it provides an overwhelming amount of data and information, which requires significant refinement before it becomes truly useful. On top of that, it is also a relatively expensive option.

**What problems is Nexthink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nexthink has been instrumental in providing thorough oversight of employees from a technology perspective, as well as in managing IT infrastructure in a highly comprehensive and sophisticated manner.

  ### 23. Deep Insights, Real-Time Data, and Highly Customizable

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Casper v. | Business Coach, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Nexthink?**

Deep insights, customizability, real-time

**What do you dislike about Nexthink?**

Support for software development best practices (stage gating, code repositories, dev/test/prod environments) is lacking, limited RBAC options, little attention to in control / security & compliance topics

**What problems is Nexthink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping users in the flow of work, saving lost hours

  ### 24. Nexthink is a fantastic product - highly recommend

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Law Practice | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Nexthink?**

It gives us insights into issues we have never had, while allowing us to proactively resolve problems. We are very excited to begin using Spark.

**What do you dislike about Nexthink?**

There are frequent "we ran into an issue" screen that requires a refresh on certain screens - it is more of an annoyance than anything else.

**What problems is Nexthink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are getting insights into device performance that we've never had (full hard drives, system crashes) that allow us to reach out to the users first, before they open a ticket.

  ### 25. Eliminating Reactive IT: A Proactive Nexthink Approach

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gowtham R. | Project engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Nexthink?**

Remote actions and surveys are useful. Apart from that, it would be great if we could include our own custom remote actions in Nexthink and monitor productivity with a single click for CXOs.

**What do you dislike about Nexthink?**

Collector installation takes time for normal, non-technical users, and it also has a dependency on the IT team.

**What problems is Nexthink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves the problem before I even arrive, removing the need for manual ticketing and then the resolution. I’m a fan of the proactive approach.

  ### 26. My Experience with Nexthink: Insights and Impressions

**What do you like best about Nexthink?**

Nexthink’s ability to deliver real-time, comprehensive visibility into end-user experience and IT infrastructure is highly valuable. Its intuitive dashboard and robust analytics enable proactive problem resolution, significantly enhancing operational efficiency. We have utilized the tool on multiple occasions to improve our endpoint user experience, continuously leveraging its capabilities to optimize our environment. Furthermore, Nexthink has empowered us as system engineers to innovate and develop new solutions. By providing a solid foundation, it has enabled us to integrate our PowerShell skills with Nexthink’s platform, opening up possibilities that were previously unavailable.

The customer support team is exceptional—always responsive and proactive. They keep us informed about new technologies and actively incorporate our feedback to improve the platform.

Additionally, we participate in weekly Nexthink technical calls with the support team, where we discuss various implementation strategies and use cases, fostering ongoing collaboration and knowledge sharing.

**What do you dislike about Nexthink?**

While Nexthink offers extensive features, its DEX Scoring Algerithm can sometime be overwhelming for some users to understand how the calculations are made, maybe having a simpler way to itemise all the items that contribute towards dex with the exact waighting for each item, it would allow us to target the problems and be more proactive.

**What problems is Nexthink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nexthink has been instrumental in addressing several critical IT challenges, providing tangible benefits to our operations:

We were the first to implement a driver update solution utilizing remote actions combined with campaigns to update BIOS firmware. Since its deployment, this initiative has successfully updated over 1 million drivers, significantly improving device stability and security.
We continuously monitor BitLocker encryption status and remediate unencrypted devices, ensuring data security and compliance across our environment.
We developed a PC performance remote action that enables us to proactively identify and resolve issues related to dirty fans and overheating, reducing downtime and enhancing user experience.
We identified and resolved WMI-related issues by deploying targeted scripts, improving system reliability and performance.
We designed and deployed a script via Nexthink to identify devices with outdated drive mappings and automatically update them with the latest configurations.
Additionally, we created a script to perform disk cleanup on endpoints, which has successfully cleared approximately 60TB of unnecessary data, freeing up valuable storage resources.

These solutions demonstrate how Nexthink empowers us to proactively manage and optimize our IT environment, leading to increased efficiency, security, and user satisfaction.

  ### 35. Improve you employee experience and ensure to understand evolutions in an ever changing world

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 25, 2025

**What do you like best about Nexthink?**

* Ability to understand what is happening on your devices (full or partial scope) or on a single device with an end-to-end perspective
* Means to accelerate diagnosis and facilitate the resolution for support teams (Amplify) directly from Service Now
* Dynamic view to better understand situations (e.g. degradation when working from home or in the office) and performance evolution (MS Teams was working very well this morning but the situation has changed since 3pm)

  ### 36. Game Changer for IT the Future is Now

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jose María P. | Tecnical Support Analyst - End user Support, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Nexthink?**

Nexthink is a transformative tool that empowers IT teams to move beyond traditional SLA metrics and embrace the Digital Employee Experience (DEX). It enables us to evaluate user experience in real time and take proactive action to improve it—without waiting for users to report issues.
This shift from reactive to proactive IT means we can silently resolve problems in the background, only reaching out when necessary, and always with a focus on user care. In my experience, this approach resonates deeply with employees—especially those who “suffer in silence” due to busy schedules. Seeing IT take initiative to improve their experience often brings genuine appreciation and even smiles.
Nexthink helps IT become a strategic partner, not just a support function. It allows us to:

Detect and fix issues before they impact productivity.
Understand user sentiment and device health.
Deliver targeted communications and support.
Continuously improve the digital workplace.

In short, Nexthink is not just a tool—it’s a mindset shift. It shows that we care, and that IT is here to enhance, not interrupt.

**What do you dislike about Nexthink?**

Honestly, I don’t dislike anything about Nexthink. It’s a fantastic tool that has transformed how we approach IT support and employee experience.
If I had to mention one thing, it would be the NQL (Nexthink Query Language). While it makes the platform powerful and unique, it can be challenging to master, especially for new users. With time and practice, it becomes manageable—but it does require a learning curve.

**What problems is Nexthink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nexthink enables us to shift from a reactive IT model to a proactive and experience-driven approach. It helps us detect and resolve issues before they impact productivity, improving both employee satisfaction and operational efficiency. Through its automation capabilities and real-time insights, we can identify global patterns and understand which issues truly affect users and devices. This allows us to allocate resources more effectively and focus on what really matters—delivering a seamless digital experience.

  ### 37. Powerful Tool for Improving Employee IT Experience

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Defense & Space | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Nexthink?**

Nexthink Infinity has completely transformed how we manage and monitor our digital workplace. The real-time visibility across devices, applications, and networks is unmatched. I especially appreciate the proactive issue detection—our team can now resolve problems before employees even notice them. The REST API support makes integration seamless, and the remote actions feature is a huge time-saver.

**What do you dislike about Nexthink?**

The learning curve for Nexthink Query Language (NQL) was steeper than expected. It took some time and training to get our team fully comfortable with building custom dashboards and reports. Also, the pricing might be a hurdle for smaller organizations.

**What problems is Nexthink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We're using Nexthink primarily to streamline endpoint visibility and improve IT operations through custom dashboards, targeted campaigns, and automation scripts. The dashboards help us monitor device health, software compliance, and performance metrics in real time, making it easier to spot trends and anomalies. Campaigns have been effective for communicating with users directly—whether it's gathering feedback on a new rollout or guiding them through self-remediation steps. Custom scripts have allowed us to automate repetitive tasks and enforce policies across the environment, saving time and reducing manual effort

  ### 38. Real-Time Insights Make Monitoring Effortless

The extension could be improved to handle operations more effectively during periods of high traffic.

**What problems is Nexthink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The platform allows for proactive issue detection, automation, metric monitoring, and performance tracking.

  ### 39. Effortless Data Access for Quick Troubleshooting

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed Date:** November 27, 2025

**What do you like best about Nexthink?**

easy to obtain data from a computer in order to troubleshoot it

**What do you dislike about Nexthink?**

the language used for query is not easy and data retention with the client is too short

**What problems is Nexthink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

help to prevent some major incident and troubleshoot easily computers

  ### 40. Flexible and powerful DEX tool

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Chemicals | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 29, 2025

**What do you like best about Nexthink?**

- Generates a lot of data & insights into IT / workplace performance
- Covers a wide range of topics that play a role in improving the employee experience
- An API allows for easy integration into other systems
- Functions and data can be well and detailedly tailored to the respective user needs through a rights and role concept

**What do you dislike about Nexthink?**

- High initial effort for implementation (organizational, not technical), as some of the topics in Germany are subject to co-determination by the works council. Additionally, extensive data protection legal review, as some of the collected data is personal.

**What problems is Nexthink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We want to identify measures to improve efficiency and measure their implementation. This can be in the area of returning unused licenses, improving the hardware lifecycle, or reducing ServiceDesk efforts.

  ### 41. Comprehensive Data Insights Empower My Endpoint Engineering

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Nexthink?**

What I appreciate most is the capability to view and connect nearly all elements within the environment as data points. This feature supports me in virtually every part of my role as an Endpoint Engineer.

**What do you dislike about Nexthink?**

The bucketizing of the data can be frustrating. Specifically, the granularity of most application data is 15min. This is a long time to correlate connectivity or application performance. Additionally, if you are not offloading the data the retention period/frame can be a bit to work around.

**What problems is Nexthink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We primarily leverage it for proactive License Reclamation and Automated Repair of identified issues.

Beyond these automations, Nexthink significantly empowers our Support Teams by providing instant access to historical issue data and enabling the rapid correlation of scope during widespread incidents.

The financial impact has been clear: this year, we achieved our Return on Investment (ROI) through substantial savings from both recovered employee hours and hard-cost license reclamation. This capability allows us to respond to issues faster and maintain a higher situational awareness, delivering both operational efficiency and a crucial cost benefit to the organization.

  ### 42. Powerful, fast, and simple

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Nexthink?**

The best thing about Nexthink is its flexibility. With just a few clicks, you can create custom actions and target a perfectly-tailored list of devices.

**What do you dislike about Nexthink?**

Nexthink's UI design often leaves some things to be desired. Features that should be front and center are often buried several pages deep. Because of this, my workflow involves having about 4-5 tabs open for simple testing iterations, etc.

It's painfully obvious that Nexthink's UI designers have never actually used the product.

**What problems is Nexthink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nexthink provides a tool for our helpdesk to quickly gather diagnostics to help quantify problems experienced by end users
We also use it to create customized reports and gather data from endpoints
We use Nexthink to quickly remediate issues and automate workflows

  ### 43. Powerful end-user experience insights, enabling proactive IT support and smarter decision-making.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Nexthink?**

Automation and Remediation.
The ability to communicate directly with users through targeted campaigns.
ailored views for different teams make it easier to align IT with business goals.

**What do you dislike about Nexthink?**

Nexthink sometimes flags performance issues based on CPU usage patterns that don’t accurately reflect real-world user experience. For example, single-threaded apps may appear underutilized on multi-core machines, triggering unnecessary alerts.
Certain metrics lack contextual correlation, making it harder to understand the root cause without diving into multiple views.

**What problems is Nexthink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nexthink allows IT to engage users directly through surveys and campaigns, gathering feedback to guide improvements. It consolidates data across devices, applications, and networks into a single platform, making it easier to diagnose and resolve issues.

Only if there was a way to find all the devices without the agent installed in them. Also we cannot retrieve data from two different tables in NQL.

**What problems is Nexthink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

- Keeping the employees' productivity as high as possible by eliminating device issues.

  ### 49. My Nexthink Review

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Telecommunications | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 23, 2023

**What do you like best about Nexthink?**

I like best about Nexthink that I can easily see how our clients are doing but also drill deeper into every single one in order to solve issues. Having also some of the features of Nexthink Infinity allows a benchmarking against other companies running the same or similar programs and see how they are doing in comparison. This can quickly aid in removing buggy software from our devices.
Another great building block towards a more stable infrastructure are the Remote Actions that allow preventive as well as reactive service to the end users. Combined with small Campaigns in order to inform the users what is currently going on is a big win as well. Lately we have also implemented Nexthink Amplify with our ServiceNow helping 2nd Level to get a much quicker overview of the PC's state and target the real problems more effectively.
The much improved Nexthink Library (compared to the on-prem) offers an expansive toolbox and I found quite a lot of very useful components (Dashboards, Remote Actions) easing my administrative tasks considerably.

**What do you dislike about Nexthink?**

The thing I dislike most (on premises version) is that I must access every single engine in turn if I want to retrieve specific results from e.g. a Remote Action in order to import the data into Excel (via PowerQuery) where I have then to merge the (in our case) 3 result sets into one in Excel.
This is still true in our now Nexthink Experience environment. But I am working towards the Infinity migration where this is history.
I would very much like a "Component Exchange" where admins around the world can post new or changed Nexthink components (mostly Remote Actions) for others to use (after a 4-6 eyes review process).

**What problems is Nexthink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nexthink helps us find performance issues and also assists in incident solving.
Due to a number of self-written Remote Actions we are also able to monitor aspects of the client landscape that are not supported out of the box.

**Official Response from Charlotte Arrowsmith:**

> It's great to hear that Nexthink is helping to improve perfomance issues and incident resolution. We're committed to providing valuable solutions for our users. Thank you for sharing your experience!

If you'd ever like to share more feedback about your Nexthink experience, I'd love to connect.

  ### 50. Enhancing IT Efficiency with Predictive Monitoring Solutions

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kodeeswaran C. | Senior IVA developer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 20, 2024

**What do you like best about Nexthink?**

Monitoring all applications on a system becomes effortless and it proves invaluable in predicting potential faults in the future. This tool also enables an in-depth analysis of employee productivity, offering unparalleled insights. Furthermore, the tool allows effortless integration of flows, campaigns, and actions, thanks to its REST API support. Implementing the solution is much easier the only thing requires is Nexthink collectors once it is done then there you go.

**What do you dislike about Nexthink?**

While there isn’t much to criticize, I find that NQL can be a bit challenging to learn initially, especially for those without prior scripting experience. However, once you gain familiarity with scripting, it becomes an excellent tool to work with. Given its extensive features and options, mastering the tool does require some time and effort.

**What problems is Nexthink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Earlier, we encountered latency or connectivity issues that severely affected employee productivity and required good amount of time to diagnose and resolve. However, with the implementation of this solution, we can now quickly identify the root cause of the issues and resolve them efficiently. Additionally, the workflows and collectors enable us to predict and prevent potential problems, ensuring we stay on track with our productivity without losing valuable time. Keeping track of the applications is useful to keep the apps upto date.
