New Relic provides a very detailed and intuitive observability platform. The real-time performance monitoring, distributed tracing, and powerful dashboards make it easy to identify bottlenecks quickly. I especially like how seamlessly it integrates with multiple tech stacks — from mobile apps to backend services — and how the alerting system helps catch production issues before they impact users. The UI is clean, data visualization is excellent, and the query-based insights (NRQL) give a lot of flexibility for deeper analysis. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
While New Relic is feature-rich, the initial setup and configuration can be a bit complex for newcomers. Some advanced features require fine-tuning to get accurate metrics, and the pricing can become high as data volume grows. At times, dashboards load slowly when handling very large datasets, and the documentation, though extensive, could be more beginner-friendly for specific use cases.
