New Relic APM has been amazing for our company. Its cloud-based platform allows us to understand and see everything about our applications all from one single place, instead of having to visit site after site. I love Relic because of the auto-instrumentation, which basically means it can read over 7 programing languages, and the in-depth transaction. This allows us to quickly fix issues by pointing at the root causes quickly. Our applications simply run better using Relic Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I wish they had friendly support staff you can call Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

- Ability to integrate with third party software providers (such as Slack, web-hook) to action separate responses

- Easy to read graphs & ability to track transactions as key transactions with monitoring thresholds

- Can configure New Relic to use 2FA

- Web hook integration is straight-forward and results in the ability to create custom-tailored responses to any alert type

- 2FA support isn't native & requires participation from a third party SSO

The best thing I like about the products is it can be used simple browsers with a a detailed result view and it’s capacity to store every single run for a long time of 13 months and hunt down the specific problems from the down page. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Sometimes the data from the synthetic monitoring is too predictable as it’s generated through controlled and predictable environments. They may not be truly representative of what real users are experiencing at a given time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There is just so much that just using the application to learn it is not enough. I have been able to figure out a few things but don’t completely understand why they work. Working through the provided videos is a noce way to get a general idea but no where near enough to learn the application well enough to administer it fully. The Option To generate reports of Server over a Span of 3 Months.!!! That is a great way to keep a check on what is happening over time and even track the progress. Apart from that, detailed Error Analytics is a Big Yes for the people managing the Servers.

Able to keep a check on all the transactions that occurred over time on the Servers, all the incoming and outgoing calls, all are a Plus for Monitoring and keeping track of things happening. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Not much of a dislike but I would love to have an option of being able to download the reports that are being generated all across the APM. That would provide a great help in managing things for future Use. Although You can see the reports over time but if you need to share the details, the only way possible is to take a screen shot and share, which is sometimes a pain. The best of this product its easy to install and setup , good quality metrics, custom metrics. very pretty dashboards. All info you need about your application performance and status in a single site deployed easily Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

the problem i see to this software is the pricing model, my company have more than 2000 instances on EC2, with the pricing model monitoring a instance is more expensive that run the instance , cannot scale in pricing to a global adoption and only can use it in selected critical applications Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It is a easy to get to use and learn tool to monitor both web and other transactional apps in the organization. The set up documentation was very user friendly for us to test this product with a quick ramp up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Once set up if we need to refer for maximizing usage of the features available with available documentation, the documentation is not very detailed and hence does not help us to get to the next level. However, they have a user forum which can be leveraged. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It doesn't tell a complete picture. Performance is only one part of the app. It is good to measure an app once it has been built out, but fixing performance after the fact gets expensive. Ease of use of the software. The reports provided and alerting mechanisms. Very valuable tool for my technical team. They are the ones using it and then are able to provide better support to our end users. While I dont use the tool I was the executive sponsor of the tool for utilization by my IT team.
