We are a lessor but our sublessee pays their landlords directly. As a result, lease liability cannot be relieved. We use non-GL posting and will perform an annual true-up, which is similar to maintaining in excel. The product automated our month-end accounting close cycle with efficiencies in processing and approving new leases, modifications, and terminations; preparing and approving journal entries; providing simplified reports to support our account reconciliations; and improving reports required to prepare our financial statement disclosures. We have been live for two closing cycles and so far there isn't anything I personally dislike about NetLease. The implementation support during the implementation was amazing and any problems were resolved quickly through the Knowledge Base or promptly by our client manager. Running the monthly lease journal entries has been a very smooth and easy process every month. I haven't created a new lease yet but lease modifications have also been a very smooth process. We already use NetSuite as our ERP system at my Company so when ASC 842 was implemented we started shopping for systems that would make lease accounting seamless. Truly this has been amazing as it seamlessly integrates with NetSuite our ERP system. We've used it for almost 2 years now and no regrets.
