What problems is Netcore Unbxd PIM solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have been using Unbxd PIM for a few weeks now. Several standout features:
The ability to isolate products by a really large variety of properties and attributes to manipulate in bulk. This is something my e-commerce platform (Shopify) does not allow enough of. (And it's a small thing, but being able to count my results! because there is no way to do that on my platform without first exporting and downloading the data into a spreadsheet. Makes it much easier to actual plan catalogue navigation and collection building to optimise size for customers to scroll through with enough variety but also a limit so it is not overwhelming, confusing or exhausting.)
Another feature I found useful is the ability to aggregate data from assorted vendor systems into one centralized system and compare/contrast and make consistent using automated rules, without having to actually upload it directly into my Shopify backend and then export, download, play with spreadsheets until I am ready. (I literally used to have a dummy vendor identity to do this, until Unbxd! to avoid messy product listings on the storefront...!) The Unbxd PIM allows me to manage my product information and helps me to maintain consistency across product listings, even retrofitting as needed.
The data aggregation functionality in Unbxd PIM is highly customizable, allowing me to map vendor data to specific attributes and fields — basically, it is MY imagination that is the limit, pretty much. So far, I have encountered no size limitations in the system — and believe me, we have enough limitations that we have smashed into with the many competitors we took a deep look at, as well as the Shopify native apps we have tried to use before (many simply looked at our catalogue size, and chose to roll over and die!) I can also set up rules and workflows to automate the data aggregation process, which has helped my small team to save whole days, not merely hours, worth of time and effort.
Another feature that I found highly valuable is Unbxd PIM's ability to cleanse and normalize data. This feature ensures that all vendor data is standardized and consistent, which is crucial for accurate product listings. With Unbxd PIM, I can easily identify and resolve any data discrepancies, such as missing information or inconsistent formatting, ensuring that my product information is accurate and complete per my (admittedly) high-to-the-point-of-nitpicky standards.
On the administrator end of my role as head of catalogue, I also love that I can control user permissions to a much finer extent than directly on the platform — and I can actually track productivity and common problems/obstacles my team runs into much better than on the marketplace system, I can literally slice up product edit and enrichment roles and individual timed tasks much thinner, and assign to different team members according to their availability (workload as well as daily rhythms/time zones), abilities and interests! For me, it is has been as much a team management tool as a product management system! This in particular was quite unexpected!
I have even been able to attach internal notes to products and product sets to share with remote team members. With our hybrid working style, across 3 different time zones, this has saved a lot of time in communication and resulted in faster task completion.
I am happy to suggest Unbxd PIM to teams searching for a centralized and robust solution to handle vendor/product data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
