What do you like best about NetApp E-Series?

The performance of the hardware is good.

The solution is very easy to configure.

The product allows for the centralization of large envirements.

The product is stable, easy to deploy and it just works. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NetApp E-Series?

I didn't dislike anything about the product but the pricing model of the tool could be made better.

It's user interface is a bit old and complex so it needs focus for upgradation. Otherwise functioning is all perfect. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is NetApp E-Series solving and how is that benefiting you?

Can the onboard 1GB ports be user for atirage connectivity? No those are for storage system management only, not host IO

With 2 or 4 ports 16GB FC/10 GB ISCSI optical-> A customer received the cable, direct attaxh Cu SFP+ 10G, 2m. Do they have optical GBICs with fiber connection? Yes combined FC/iSCSI SFP modules will thos negotiable down to 1GB speed Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about NetApp E-Series?

Storage performance and having flexible management, and easy administration. Having good Raid concept which allows to create storage pool based on service requirements Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I don't have any negative impact on Netapp storage. NetApp has released various storage arrays. we can use the relevant product to fulfill out requirements that way we can save money as well Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about NetApp E-Series?

The e letter its made for everything. But when it comes to mission critical services like virtual environments and containers also for high processing databases like oracle and funally its one of the best solutions for big data analytics Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NetApp E-Series?

Alot of administration effort and the high cost for the capital expenditures and operation expenditures. So in the early time we were using it as primary backups storage. But we may look for another alternatives Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Used for our virtual environment and big data analytics also we r using some luns as shared atorage for ha os cluster on some servers as well . Earlier it was used for backups but dud to high cost we stopped storing backups on it Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about NetApp E-Series?

Easy to initialize and mapping with VMware vSphere.Software Upgradation is also easy with VMware Mapped volumes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

.nfsxxxx files are not deleting even backup jobs has been completed by Sangfor HCI on NetApp Volume. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is NetApp E-Series solving and how is that benefiting you?

Upgradation of Controllers.This job is very hard in Dell SC Series while upgradation Top-Bottom Controller.Mostly the controllers are stuck while doing upgradation in SC Series but this could be easily done in NetApp for adopting most advanced features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
