## Nectar Reviews
 ### 1. Boosts Morale

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Erin M. | Teacher, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

It boosts teacher moral. It gives teachers a space to shout out a colleague of their hard work and view shoutouts sent to them. I love the gif feature which adds to the fun. It's easy to quickly find colleagues by typing their name and the ability to add multiple colleagues on one post. The hashtags are for the company to filter through and view posts on the administration side. I have really been enjoying the challenges posted by admin for staff to gain more points. It's not just work tasks but tasks involving mental and physical health of participants or the use of other systems used by the company. It's a great feature that adds to the experience and keeps users interacting with the site. And, of course, I love that teachers can trade the points they earn for rewards. It's really come in handy when I needed a gift card or some school merch. I've even heard of teachers saving up all their points for a Disney gift card they used at the Disney parks. Nectar is a fantastic program to help boost moral.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

I've had a hard time thinking of something I dislike about Nectar. The only thing I can think of is maybe not having enough points to give out every month. Overall, the platform is easy to use, easy to integrate, and is a great addition to our programs.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves the problem of connectiveness. When working virtually, it can be difficult to bond and establish a relationship with colleagues. Nectar provides teachers and administrators with a space to recognize hard work and be rewarded. It's a moral boost. It makes teachers feel seen through all their hard work.

 ### 2. A Great Way to Celebrate Work and Recognize Teammates

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kristar H. | IT Support Tech, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

What I like about Nectar is that its a platform where employees comes together to appreciate the hard work and to shout out any impressive work that someone has done. As an active member I can see what others are doing within my department and others. Its a way for me to see the hard work every one is doing, not just within my department but with others.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

There is quite not a specific thing I dont like about Nectar, the only thing I could say its that at first it was a little confused for me to tell who was the one posting the post, since the person who is being shout out to is the one who profile comes up in big. Other than that, so far I am loving Nectar.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am still a new user so, so far I have no complaints nor issues with it. I am still in the process of Nectar benefiting me

 ### 3. Intuitive, Easy-to-Use Rewards and Shoutouts—Perfect for Virtual Teams

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jennifer R. | Curriculum and Instruction Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

When we first started using Nectar, it was so intuitive, that we were able to jump right in to using it. Nectar is very easy to use. I can navigate smoothly between redeeming my own rewards and giving out rewards to others. It’s an excellent fit for our virtual environment, and has been integrated into Class link for super easy access. This is a nice feature so that I can immediately give a shout out or reward. Shoutouts are posted instantly, and I rarely have any issues accessing or using it. I like that you can add a GIF or picture to the shout out. That makes it a little more personal, and can add a touch of humor. I love seeing shoutouts and getting rewards. I like getting the reminders to use any remaining points that I have since there is always someone to recognize.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

Honestly, I can’t think of a downside—unless there’s a tech issue and it isn’t working when I try to access it. That said, that hasn’t happened in a very long time.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In a virtual environment, it can be hard to make sure the people who go the extra mile get the credit they deserve. Nectar makes it easy for everyone across the entire company to give immediate recognition when they see it. In my experience, people at all levels of the organization enjoy being empowered to recognize others.

 ### 4. Empowering Every Voice: How Nectar Builds Real Connection in a Virtual Workspace

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marie P. | English Team Teacher, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

I love that Nectar gives us a dedicated space to recognize the small, everyday contributions that usually go overlooked. It’s often those quiet, consistent efforts that make the biggest difference in a team’s success, and Nectar ensures that nobody's hard work goes unnoticed.

The ability to include images and GIFs adds a layer of personality that text alone can’t capture—it makes the praise feel personal and fun. Ultimately, Nectar bridges the gap in our virtual workspace, fostering deeper connections and keeping us all a little closer, no matter where we're logging in from.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

My experience with Nectar has been overwhelmingly positive, with very few downsides. If I were to suggest one improvement, it would be to see even more challenges added to the platform. These challenges are not only fun and engaging but also an excellent, recurring reminder of our broader company goals. Expanding the variety of these challenges would be a great way to keep that momentum going.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nectar provides me with a meaningful voice within our company. In a virtual working environment, it’s easy to feel unheard, but Nectar offers a genuine way to stay engaged and connected. I love having a platform to speak up and celebrate my teammates; it’s the perfect way to shine a light on co-workers who consistently go above and beyond.

 ### 5. Nectar - Where Recognition Becomes Culture

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nishant G. | Associate Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

Nectar is genuinely great at making recognition feel like a natural, everyday habit instead of a once-a-year formality. It makes peer-to-peer shoutouts simple and enjoyable, helping keep employees engaged without creating extra work for HR teams.
The rewards catalog is solid with gift cards and branded items, and it plugs right into tools your team already uses, so it does not feel like any other platform user has to log in to.
The recognitions are fast and real time with visibility to all company and management.
The tool is very rightly priced and helpful in maintaining good harmony among employees.
Nectar also provides good support and a good help center.
It also has good way to look at insights and manager overview which can be used into AI to draw more granular details.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

The UI/UX can be a little better and some sections may be redesigned to ease the use.
Also, there is an option missing where we want to tag a member in shoutout just for information but do not want to recognise or reward that person.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps in providing regular recognitions and rewards to all employees, from juniors to seniors.
This allow everyone to send a recognition to anyone across company irrespective of the department.

 ### 6. Helps people feel seen at work

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Van N. | teacher, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

What I like most is that it doesn't feel forced or corporate. I can quickly give someone a shoutout for helping me out, and they actually get points that mean something. It's nice to see coworkers recognizing each other for small things, not just big wins. Makes the workday feel a bit lighter.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

I wish I had more than 50 points to give out each month. That's not really a knock on Nectar — I think my company sets that limit — but I often run out before the month ends because there are so many people I'd like to recognize. Even an extra 20 or 30 points would make a big difference in how freely I can thank others.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

People were doing helpful things and no one really said thanks in a meaningful way. Nectar gives everyone a simple tool to speak up. That makes me feel like my work matters, which keeps me more engaged and motivated day to day.

 ### 7. Streamlined Employee Engagement and Communication

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kelcie W. | Human Resource Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

I appreciate Nectar for streamlining milestone recognition for birthdays and anniversaries, which frees us to focus on other tasks. I also like how the communication portion keeps everything centralized and pushes important information to the forefront. It's convenient being able to send messages via email or text. We use the challenges feature to motivate people with points for completing tasks we need them to do. Switching to Nectar for communication made sense since we were already using it for recognition and challenges, allowing us to keep everything in one place.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

I wish we could set the challenges for a fiscal year instead of calendar. We run on calendar year, and it would just make things easier.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nectar streamlines milestone recognition and centralizes communication, keeping everything in one place. It motivates with point-based challenges and frees up time by handling recognitions effortlessly.

 ### 8. Nectar Makes Recognition Meaningful and Reinforces Company Values

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jason G. | Sr. Director, Project Management, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

I use Nectar as the primary mechanism to provide praise and feedback to my team and internal partners. The point-giving system enables me to provide something of substance in addition to the praise itself. The simple structure of the tool also prompts me to tap into our company values which reinforces the corporate perspective (while 'reminding' me of those values on a regular basis).

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

I only wish that I had an inexhaustable amount of points to provide to my partners.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I appreciate the weekly and monthly reminders to use my budgeted points, which ensures that I'm regularly providing incremental praise and acknowledgement to my teammates and partners. As a team lead, I use the Nectar reminders to remind my team to ensure they use their monthly points on their own partners, as well as let me know (as a company leader) who else I might provide praise to as well.

 ### 9. Nectar Makes Recognition Effortless and Boosts Team Morale

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kaitlyn F. | Independent Curriculum & Literacy Resource Designer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

Nectar has allowed our team to recognize and encourage one another in a meaningful way easily. Its intuitive interface lets us send recognition or rewards with just a few clicks, making it a daily habit rather than something we forget. This has significantly boosted team morale by allowing us to quickly acknowledge wins, big or small, fostering a positive work environment.

The platform saves time compared to other methods, keeping everything organized in one place. I've experienced no major issues, and onboarding was smooth due to its user-friendly design. Additionally, it encourages engagement between teams that may not typically interact.

Overall, Nectar enhances our work culture, increases engagement, and incorporates recognition into our daily routine.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

Reporting and analytics could be more robust. While you can see general activity, more detailed insights into engagement trends or impact over time would help better measure usage and past recognition.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nectar solves the problem of inconsistent or overlooked employee recognition by giving our team an easy-to-use platform to regularly acknowledge one another. Before using Nectar, recognition was more informal and often missed, but now it’s built into our daily workflow.

 ### 10. Meaningful Recognition Made Better with Rewards

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sarah D. | Teacher, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

Nectar lets me give credit where credit is due within my own time frame, in a way that feels meaningful rather than haphazard. It publicly recognizes people while also offering strong incentives to go the extra mile. I was able to start recognizing people right away—there was no learning curve—and I have enough points to recognize plenty of people throughout the month.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

Nothing - only quality of life suggestions unless they're already there and I don't know about them - mainly being able to personalize my feed in a larger company.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me learn more about my coworkers and encourages me to support them in a meaningful way. In teaching, it’s especially easy to get lost in your own classroom and objectives and not really notice what your coworkers are doing, but with Nectar I’m able to respond in the moment with a shoutout that encourages the people I work with and lets them know I appreciate them as well as keeps me up to date with what others are doing.

 ### 11. Nectar Makes Peer-to-Peer Recognition Easy and Enjoyable

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Melissa B. | Curriculum & Instruction Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

I love that points can be awarded peer-to-peer instead of only from supervisor to subordinate; it makes it possible for so many more people to receive well-deserved recognition. I’ve used similar rewards systems before, and Nectar is the best I’ve tried in terms of both accessibility and ease of use. The email reminders are helpful without being annoying, and scrolling through the feed is genuinely a joy.

The variety of awards is impressive - not just corporate logo swag but giftcards from retailers I would've considered niche. I like other thoughtful features such as the ability to convert your points into awardable points.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

Honestly, the only negative thing I can think of (and this is stretching) is that I wish they had a wider selection of GIFs to add to recognitions?

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nectar helps me make sure everyone’s hard work and collaboration are recognized. Because it’s become a consistent part of my routine, I set aside time each week (to keep my streak alive!) to thoughtfully consider whose efforts have moved our mission forward, who’s been recognized recently, and who hasn’t. It’s a deliberate way for me to spread that recognition around so more people feel seen and valued.

 ### 12. Builds Strong Connections in a Virtual Workplace

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kemdilee B. | Secondary Health Teacher, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

I’ve honestly really enjoy using Nectar. Working in a virtual environment, it can be hard to feel connected to coworkers, but this has made a difference. Getting a shoutout from a colleague always catches me off guard in a good way. It’s a simple thing, but it really does brighten your day and reminds you that your work is being noticed.

I won’t lie, the rewards are a nice bonus too. I usually go for the Amazon or Visa gift cards since they’re easy to use and delivered electronically.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

Your experience and rewards depend on how often other people use it.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It gives us a way to recognize each other more regularly. It makes the team feel more connected, even though we’re in a virtual work environment . It just creates a more positive and supportive environment, which I really appreciate.

 ### 13. Quick, Meaningful Recognition with Nectar—Made Even Easier in Microsoft Teams

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jennifer A. | Business Development Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

Nectar is a great way to give a meaningful and buildable appreciation shout out, while anchoring core values. It's a quick and easy way to acknowledge your coworkers, keep your core values in front of you and have a little fun at the same time. The fact that it is integrated with Microsoft Teams helps save time and get those shoutouts delivered quickly.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

Honestly, I can't think of anything I dislike about Nectar.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In a fast-paced environment, it’s easy to forget to pause and show gratitude. With Nectar, I can quickly find coworkers, give points, and keep our core values front and center—all right at my fingertips. That makes it possible to do it now, instead of turning appreciation into a task that may or may not get prioritized, and leaving co-workers feeling unappreciated for their efforts. A simple “thank you” can sometimes go in one ear and out the other, but virtual yet tangible gifts tend to be remembered.

 ### 14. A Great Way to Recognize Colleagues and Redeem Rewards

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Taylor J. | Teacher, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

Nectar is a great way to show appreciation to colleagues! I love being able to provide recognition to my team, and also being able to redeem my points for rewards and swag!

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

Nectar is difficult to integrate into other platforms. If there was a way to have it embedded with our Google workspace or even embedded in our onboarding, that would be a great feature. There is also not enough onboarding for the platform itself, so a lot of features are up to the user to figure out on their own.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nectar helps me to recognize my team with it's quick access, ease of features, and reliability. Even when I am sending out large mentions to larger teams, it handles it easily and without issue!

 ### 15. Easy, Daily Colleague Recognition with Nectar

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Quinn B. | Training Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

The upsides of Nectar are that I'm able to give shout outs to my colleagues and recognize their good work on a daily basis. The interface is easy to use and I love how it guides me through successfully submitting a shout out to my colleagues.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

There is absolutely nothing that I dislike about Nectar.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nectar makes it way easier for us to shout people out without overthinking where or how to do it. Everything’s in one place, so recognition actually happens instead of getting lost in emails or chats.

For me, it’s been great for staying connected with new hires and teammates across departments. It gives me a quick way to highlight wins in the moment, which keeps the vibe positive and helps everyone feel seen.

 ### 16. User-Friendly Rewards with Great Incentives and Fun Posting Features

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lauren R. | City Planner l, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

I love how user-friendly it is. It's very easy to use and understand how to earn points as well as give points out. I also like the auto-populated hashtags and the ability to add gifs with posts. The products available are a very high incentive and motivate to actually hit the goals.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

There isn't much I dislike about Nectar. If I had to name one thing, it's the announcements on the feed with everything completed. I wish there was an option to have it show on your feed or not.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nectar provides goals and incentives to not only get involved in the community, but also create and achieve personal goals such as walking or getting enough sleep every night.

 ### 17. Meaningful Recognition with Real Rewards That Connects Our Team

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Primary/Secondary Education | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

I like that it gives you an opportunity to recognize and reward anyone in your company in a meaningful way. Being able to redeem the points you receive for real gifts makes the recognition feel even more meaningful. I also enjoy that you can see other employees’ recognitions and messages, which helps our virtual company feel more connected.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

I wish that their were more GIF options available to add to a message when sending someone a recognition. I would also prefer if we had the ability to select any amount of available points to send, rather than only being able to choose in increments of 5. I find that logging in is not as easy as other platforms used by our company, because nectar does not save my login info and makes me put in my username each time.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nectar gives us a way to streamline how we recognize people in our company and helps us stay connected to our peers. When I send or receive a recognition from someone in the company, it is building our work relationship and encourages future collaboration.

 ### 18. Effortless Team Recognition, Needs Point System Improvements

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anna O. | FMS Service Coordinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 15, 2024

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

I really like how easy Nectar is to use. I also really enjoy the platform, and it has a wide range of gift cards that you can cash out your points for. It's very user-friendly, and it's fun to include little memes on your shoutouts as well.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

I would like to see the point system more accessible. It's hard for me to get points to turn into gift cards, and I feel like when I do have points, I still can't cash out a gift card, so I'd like to see that be more feasible.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Nectar to shout out team members and coworkers, solving problems in recognizing and praising their good work.

 ### 19. Nectar Makes Virtual Colleague Recognition Easy

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sandra R. | Assessment Coordinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

Nectar allows me to recognize or appreciate my colleagues in a virtual setting where buying them a cup of coffee isn't as convenient as when working in a brick and mortar setting.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

I wish the points didn't disappear at the end of the month. Work gets busy, and sometimes sending points gets deprioritized. I wish a percentage of them rolled over (especially if we used our points to boost our give points and then didn't get to use them all in time).

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nectar is solving the distance divide. Regardless of the physical distance, you can still build relationships with peers and recognize their effort.

 ### 20. Easy to Give and Redeem Nectar Points, with Helpful Email Reminders

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ryan L. | Tax Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

The most helpful thing for me is the frequent email reminders to send nectar points to my colleagues. Without those reminders, I’d be much less engaged because I get busy at work. Nectar points are easy to assign on the giving end, and they’re just as easy to redeem on the receiving end. I recently redeemed mine for a $100 Visa card, and I used it right away to take my wife to lunch. There are all kinds of gift card options available, which makes it even better.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

Sometimes I don’t remember how the points translate to $. I think it’s 1,000 points equal $100, but I don’t always have that conversion in mind. It would be nice if certain gift cards could occasionally be “on sale”—for example, 900 points could get you a $100 gift card for select options (similar to how credit card companies do it). Other than that, I can’t really think of anything I dislike.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I’m an employee at my company, and before Nectar, if we wanted to congratulate an associate for a job well done, we had to email HR and recommend that a physical gift card be delivered to their desk. It also wasn’t clear what gift card amount was considered acceptable, and I wasn’t sure whether they’d even like the gift card I chose. On top of that, the whole process could lag if HR wasn’t around.

Nectar has totally streamlined this and made recognition instant and much easier. Since we’re given a nectar allowance, there’s also no uncertainty about how much we’re allowed to give. I’m not involved in management of the company, so I can’t speak to any behind-the-scenes cost savings or time savings, but from a user perspective it’s been great.

 ### 21. Great Coworker Recognition and Rewards Platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anthony G. | Sales consultant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

I like how we as coworkers can send points to each other, and i like the different things you can buy with the points. I feel that it is a great platform to bring in a work environment

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

I really dont dislike anything, but I will say just sometimes login in and forgetting your login in and the whole process to get access into nector is a bit difficult, having to call Hr. And one more thing is new hires always have trouble getting access when they first start having it seamless and easier for new hires, I think would help nector more

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

 ### 22. Nectar Keeps Us Connected and Celebrating Everyday Wins

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tamara Z. | Training & Development Coach, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

I just recently returned to work at My Secure Advantage so Nectar is new to me. I love how Nectar engages employees and supports the sharing and celebrating of each others' successes, even small ones. I feel uplifted as I read about how team members positively impact each other's work and live out our company values! I feel more connected to my team members, even those that I have not met. Lastly, it's really great that there are incentives for participating in the Nectar process! I'm impressed with how that Nectar reinforces so much good in our organization!

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

I can't think of anything as I am too new to Nectar. So far, so good!

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is increasing engagement in an largely remote world. It's "humanizing" corporate values and putting them in the forefront of our minds as we work and observe others, instead of seeing our values as something that was simply created in a board room by executives, far away from our real work.

 ### 23. A Simple, Meaningful Way to Recognize Teammates

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brittany S. | Enrollment Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

I really like being able to shout out my teammates and brighten their day by recognizing their collaboration and hard work. It’s a simple way to acknowledge what they contribute and help keep the team feeling appreciated.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

I think there should be more challenge opportunities to encourage people to use it more, and I’d also like the points to be worth a little more.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I think that, in many companies, hard work can easily go unrecognized, especially in virtual spaces like an online school. Nectar makes it easier to encourage one another, and it also helps boost job performance.

 ### 24. Easy-to-Use Peer Recognition That Truly Boosts Team Culture

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

Nectar is genuinely easy to use, which is probably why our team actually adopted it. It makes peer recognition feel natural rather than forced, and that ends up meaning a lot to people. I have noticed it bring out a bit of healthy competitiveness too, people push themselves more when their work is being acknowledged. Low effort to set up, real impact on team culture.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

Not much to dislike. If anything, I would like to see more customization options down the road, but it is not something that has gotten in the way.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping people engaged and feeling valued is hard, especially across a distributed remote only team. Nectar brings recognition, rewards, and reinforcing the right behaviors all into one place rather than it being an afterthought in a Slack message. The result is a team that feels more connected and a culture that actually reflects the values we talk about.

 ### 25. Versatile Rewards and Options That Make Nectar Shine

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ayla P. | Operations Supervisor, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 31, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

Nectar is fantastic for the versatility. You aren't confined to having to choose one certain kind of reward and there are choices for using e-gifts as well as physical gift cards, etc.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

Truthfully, I don't have anything that I dislike about Nectar. I think our company has a setting that does restrict the exchange of Nectar points for rewards after a certain number have been redeemed, but I'm not sure if that is a Nectar setting or not. That would be the only thing!

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nectar helps immensely for my team since I have team members globally, so we are able to recognize everyone and use Nectar points as a way to do rewards that are equitable to the entire team!

 ### 26. The Best Way to Share Feedback and Recognize Hard Work on your Team

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrew A. | Program Manager Escalations, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

It's a great way to both give and receive feedback and recognition for work across our org. Not only do you get to reward your coworkers directly but you also get to let everyone else know about the great work they're doing!

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

When you have a smaller team it is a little harder to benefit from the insights and analytics provided in app

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In a recent review when my team asked for more directly recognition it was the perfect platform to solve the issue and make sure my direct reports got the feedback and appreciation for their work

 ### 27. Fun, User-Friendly Incentives That Make Recognition Easy

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kaitlyn G. | Receptionist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

I love Nectar. It creates a fun work atmosphere with the incentives and options for customizable incentives. I strive to be a good coworker not only for my team but for the nectar incentives as well. It's very user friendly and easy to manage. I use Nectar all the time to use my points, or to shout out a coworker who did exceptionally well that week.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

I don't think there's many downsides. It was a little confusing to use at first but not hard to figure out. The design makes it pretty easy to figure out. Sometimes it can lag or take a second when claiming an incentive but that's really all.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I've worked many places with a bad employee and boss dynamic. I think nectar helps keeps people stay in touch. Your boss can give you points, someone from another team can give you points or anyone really. It keeps the company as one instead of many different branches who don't know each other. you can also see what other people in the company have achieved that day or week and you can recognize them as well.

 ### 28. Rewards for Employees that Make a Difference

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Design | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

The user interface is very smooth to navigate. The recognition is helpful and welcomed, with not just a pat on the back, but rewards that actually help me and benefit my life. As I use Nectar through work, I do not know the price.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

There is nothing to dislike about Nectar. I think it is a great resource for what my company uses it for. Although, after exploring more on the website, I wish my company did more with you. I really only know Nectar to be for rewards, but it seems like there are other services I am unaware of.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My performance for not just working at my company, but partaking in what we offer (products) was driven by Nectar. The speed of submitting my rewards is quick and easy, the user interface great for navigating.

 ### 29. NectarHR Makes Recognition Easy and Builds a Positive Team Culture

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

NectarHR makes it easy to recognize coworkers and build a positive team culture. As an end user, I like how simple it is to give and receive recognition, and the points-based rewards add a fun, tangible benefit. The platform is intuitive, encourages collaboration across teams, and helps everyday contributions feel noticed and appreciated.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

While NectarHR is helpful for recognition, there are a few areas that could be improved from an end-user perspective. The monthly points allocation can feel limited, and it often takes a while to accumulate enough points for more meaningful rewards. Reward thresholds can also seem high, which makes redemption less frequent. Some workflows require a few extra clicks, and notifications can occasionally feel excessive. Overall, the platform works well for recognition, but increasing points flexibility, lowering redemption thresholds, and streamlining usability would improve the experience.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

NectarHR helps solve the lack of consistent employee recognition and visibility across teams. It makes it easy to acknowledge coworkers’ contributions in real time, which improves morale and encourages collaboration. From an end-user perspective, this creates a more positive work environment, helps everyday efforts feel noticed, and provides the added benefit of earning points that can be redeemed for rewards. Especially when most of your company is fully remote.

 ### 30. Easy-to-Use Recognition Tool That Builds Camaraderie

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** ALEX D. | Water & Distribution Operator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

Nectar is great because it puts an incentive on recognizing others in your company for things they may not get recognition for. It also promotes camaraderie. It is very easy to use.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

There isn't anything that I dislike about nectar. The only thing and this may be specific to my company is that we have health incentives that are given out as nectar points. It would be nice to filter that out from the main page, with a company our size, sometimes it can get cluttered.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I think Nectar solves the problem of apprehension someone may have about recognizing someone else in the company face to face. It is a good way to recognize but also have incentive behind it. It benefits me because it is a tangible site and I make time to use it.

 ### 31. Engaging recognition system that allows me to compliment my coworkers

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Primary/Secondary Education | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 05, 2025

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

I really like that I can use Nectar to recognize my coworkers who I see doing a great job! I also appreciate that I get to receive shoutouts that tell me when others recognize my hard work. Nectar is easy to use, and fun to use. I use Nectar about once a week, and I even find myself trying to think of new things to recognize my coworkers for!

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

I actually generally love nectar. I think my only gripe is that the gift cards you can receive expire at some point. I would prefer to get less of the money on the card and get a physical card. I'm not sure if this is my company's setup, but I can't seem to figure out how to redeem a gift card with a physical card.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It benefits me by allowing me to know when other people think I'm doing a good job. It also benefits my coworkers when they can get recognition. My company is remote, and Nectar allows us to have some interaction outside of our Google chat!

 ### 32. A Great Way to Meet New People Remotely with Nectar

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bill M. | Principal Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

I just started in my company and working remotely, so it's been a great experience meeting new people through Nectar.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

It can feel forced. Also small clicks might form, people that know each other well can keep sending points back and forth to each other. I've also noticed older staff might not seem to understand it and don't feel so inclined to use.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Connecting everyone seems to be the biggest problem it is solving. Our company is spread throughout multiple states but we do work together often on projects. Being able to thank someone using Nectar is awesome!

 ### 33. Easy Employee Recognition with Shout-Outs, Points, and Great Perks

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** ERICA R. | customer service rep, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

What I like most about Nectar is that we receive 50 Nectar points every month that we can use to recognize fellow employees with shout-outs and points. I recently redeemed my Nectar points for a $25 Visa gift card that I can use anywhere online or in store; the redemption process was quick and easy, and there are also plenty of great gift card options to choose from. On top of that, we get great discounts on hotels, sports, and more.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

I don’t have anything I dislike about Nectar.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nectar helps our company by letting us give Nectar points to share with coworkers and recognize their work.

 ### 34. Employee Recognition and Engagement Platform for Team Motivation

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nabin P. | CEO, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

I really appreciate how easy it is to give recognition in real time and see team achievements in one place with Nectar. The rewards system and analytics are great because they make it simple to motivate employees and track engagement across the company. The real-time recognition feed, points-based rewards, and engagement analytics are particularly valuable as they make achievements visible, motivate employees, and help track team participation. The install setup was straightforward, and adding users, setting up reward programs, and connecting Slack and HR tools took just a few hours with clear guidance from onboarding resources.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

Some limitations of Nectar are limited reward options, basic reporting features, and occasional delays in points updates.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Nectar to recognize team achievements, boost morale, and manage rewards. It's easy to give recognition in real time, see achievements, and motivate employees. The rewards system and analytics make it simple to track engagement.

 ### 35. Intuitive UI and Daily Use!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** John S. | Consultant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

I think that the best features of Nectar are in the UI. The dashboard is so easy to use and navigate. Posting updates is as simple as checking the boxes below when you're recognizing a coworker, which makes the integration with Slack so smooth. You don't feel like posting in Slack, okay... go to the Nectar website and use that dashboard instead as both work without issue. I see our teams using the platform daily which helps with the company vibes.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

Honestly, there's nothing I can think of using the product that I would be able to provide negative feedback about currently.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Team recognition transparency... which increases awareness around what everyone is working on and what specifically they are doing to earn those points and recognition.

 ### 36. Makes Recognizing Standout Work and Teamwork Easy

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Caitlin M. | Affiliate Marketing Lead, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

I like being able to recognize hard work, team work, and someone for just doing a stand out job!

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

My company had a 50 point limit and I try to break it out to keep a streak (which is fun), but sometimes I run out too fast

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nectar is helping to bring teams closer together - it has helped me to recognize someone for jumping in and helping me on another team that I may have not recognized properly before. It also is fun to see everyone recognizing each other!

 ### 37. Nectar Makes Appreciation Easy—and Rewards Feel Meaningful

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tena P. | Weekend Receptionist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

Nectar has been a pleasant experience. Showing appreciation to others on a weekly or even monthly basis, in your work group/community is great for support. Makes one feel seen and appreciated even when they don't always see each other everyday. (I'm the weekend person)
Being able to turn those appreciation points into fun and useful things is just as great and simple to use!

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

The only issue I've noticed is when following a suggestion from an email notification, it redirect to the front page. Therefore having to scroll through previous announcements to find the person you were first informed about, as it goes by date. Maybe be able to type in a persons name to see their announcement, ie: work anniversary, birthday, etc.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Communication with my co-workers.

 ### 38. Easy, Teamwide Engagement with a Super Intuitive UI and Fast Support

-Our company has it integrated with Microsoft Teams so you get a notification through there as well as email.
-Also enjoy recognizing other for their hard work!

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

Thus far I have nothing negative to say about Nectar.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our entire company works remotely, so it's nice to be able to connect outside of just "work task", it helps keep things fun! We also have competitions for Nectar points and this has increased productivity.

 ### 39. Meaningful Recognition That Highlights Team Collaboration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jose O. | Counselor Clerk, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 11, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

I like that I am able to receive recognition for the work I do, but I also truly enjoy being able to recognize other individuals I work with. This recognition can then get noticed by supervisors, allowing them to see how different forms of collaboration are occurring.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

The only thing I dislike is that is the extra steps involved in being able to find the shoutouts I gave out to others.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I believe that the problem that Nectar resolved is allowing coworkers feel like the work they perform is recognized.

 ### 40. A Great Way to Celebrate Colleagues and Build Team Morale

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alyssa C. | MTSS Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

I love being able to celebrate colleagues for their hardwork. I think it’s great that it doesn’t take anything away from us personally, and we can support each other and build morale.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

I don’t like that we can only use multiples of $5. For example, we can’t use $28, it has to be $25 or $30.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps us recognize each other. As a company, we can acknowledge each others achievements of even show gratitude. If I ever need anything from a teammate, especially virtually, I can send them nectar points! Just like in person we bring a coffee or a snack, virtually we can give points.

 ### 41. Easy Employee Recognition, But Reward Variety Could Improve

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ankit P. | Solution Architect, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

Nectar makes employee recognition very simple and more consistent. The points and rewards system keeps teams engaged and it’s easy to appreciate someone for good work in public channels. Setup is quite easy and doesn’t take much effort. Integrations like Slack can be enabled quickly, and team onboarding is simple. Support is responsive and helpful for most queries. Sometimes the resolution takes time when it’s related to rewards or third-party vendors. We use Nectar weekly for giving recognition and sending points. It becomes more active during team events or monthly appreciation cycles.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

Reward options can feel limited depending on location, and sometimes the catalog doesn’t have enough variety. Also, few features feel basic and could be improved for better customization.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This tool fosters a culture of appreciation by integrating recognition into everyday work routines. As a result, it helps boost morale, enhances engagement, and ensures that employees feel acknowledged on a more consistent basis.

 ### 42. A Simple, Pride-Boosting Way to Recognize Employees

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Abigail O. | Tax Intern, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

Nectar feels like the workplace equivalent of a kid bringing home a piece of artwork they made at school, and their mom proudly hanging it on the fridge. It gives companies a simple way to reward employees by shouting them out in front of their colleagues, and it gives the employee a real sense of pride in the work they’ve done.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

There’s really no downside that I’ve seen thus far. My only complaint is that I didn’t hear about it sooner!

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When I would think of how to celebrate my colleagues birthdays, anniversaries, promotions, and other accomplishments, I would struggle to think of what gift they would like. This takes the guesswork out of it and ensure they receive something they enjoy.

 ### 43. Empowers Everyone to Recognize and Celebrate Each Other

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Summer H. | Grade Level Supervisor, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

I love that positive recognition is something all employees can take part in. In many workplace environments, only managers or leaders are able to recognize or reward colleagues, but with Nectar, everyone gets to participate and acknowledge one another for achievements or for being helpful.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

I’ve been using Nectar for over two years, and I haven’t had any negative experiences or anything to dislike so far.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nectar enables peer recognition, which helps take some pressure off leadership by making it easier to acknowledge the positive and helpful things people do for each other every day.

 ### 44. Nectar Makes Teammate Recognition and Rewards Effortless

Nectar allows me to recognize and reward my teammates by giving them points for their hard work. I enjoy being about to give shout outs to those who go above and beyond and make a real impact. I appreciate being able to celebrate the people I work with.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

I'd love to have unlimited points since it makes recognizing others even more meaningful. It’s such a positive tool for highlighting great work, and my experience with it has been entirely positive.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nectar is a great way to create a positive work environment.

 ### 45. Boosts Employee Engagement with Ease

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Arial M. | People & Culture Organizational Development Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

I like that Nectar is really easy to use. It reinforces our core values as a company. I enjoy seeing what awesome work other team members are doing by reviewing their posts on the platform. I also appreciate that it gives everybody the opportunity to shout out positive things happening in the organization. I really love the platform and how it allows us to demonstrate core values and thank team members for their work behind the scenes.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

There's nothing I don't like about Nectar! An improvement idea would be to add a spotlight of really meaningful or high impact shout outs that happen. I mean, there's a lot that are on there and I can scroll, but maybe it would be a cool feature if they could, like, group similar things that are happening or spotlight something that seems really heroic or just basically to help with the administrative process of showcasing, the best examples of awesome work that's happening across the organization.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I feel like Nectar solves the problem of providing instant encouragement, promotion, and thanks on a visible platform, making team members feel engaged and valued.

 ### 46. Easy, Quick, and Rewarding—Incentives That Add Up

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Veronica R. | Teacher, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

It’s easy and quick to use, and it helps reward good deeds. The incentives and rewards add up over time, which makes it feel worthwhile.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

It would be nice to get notifications when others react to our posts. Other than that, I find it very user-friendly and easy to use. Product is easy to navigate and very quick. Easy to get started.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It lets us reward colleagues behind the scenes, and they can choose their reward once they’ve accumulated enough points. I can now recognize and reward others whenever I want.

 ### 47. A great platform for building a culture of appreciation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hrithik V. | Software Engineer - Trading Systems, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

Nectar makes employee recognition simple, visible, and engaging. It’s easy for me (and others on my team) to recognize coworkers in real time, attach rewards, and reinforce our company values and principles. The Slack integration is also very smooth, which makes it easy to recognize others on a monthly basis or quickly when the moment comes up.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

While some reward customization options could be expanded, these feel like minor points overall compared with the value Nectar provides.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nectar helps solve the problem of inconsistent and informal employee recognition. Before Nectar, appreciation for coworkers and teams was mostly limited to managers and wasn’t very visible across the organization. Now, anyone on the team can recognize great work, which improves transparency and helps boost motivation and engagement. Overall, it has helped build a stronger culture of appreciation and made employees feel more valued.

 ### 48. Spreading Positivity and Boosting Workplace Morale with Nectar

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jasmine J. | Secondary Teacher, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

I truly value the opportunity to spread positivity among my colleagues. It not only fosters a more uplifting environment but also significantly enhances overall morale in the workplace.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

I don't dislike anything about Nectar. If I had to change anything, I would make the UI more user-friendly. Although it does a pretty good job overall.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps you, as an employee, uplift others without having to think about it. We often forget to thank people for the small things that happen, and Nectar solves that problem.

 ### 49. Makes Recognition Easy and Meaningful

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Laura A. | Engagement Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

I love how you can feel appreciated for the work you put into your projects and daily tasks. I also love how we can shout out or teammates for their hard work and effort!

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

The point system can be a bit confusing when gifting to another employee
as it has caused me to lose points when "redeeming" instead of just gifting to the employee.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nectar is solving how employees can tend to feel under-appreciated, but through this point system we are all reminded that our hard work matters.

 ### 50. A Fun, Rewarding Way to Celebrate Coworkers with Nectar

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Misten P. | Teacher, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

I like that I can reward my coworkers for the help they give me. It is also a way for us to celebrate each other's victories in a way that provides prizes. People get very excited to cash out their nectar points and save for the prize they want.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

I don’t have any dislikes. I’m genuinely happy with Nectar, and it has been a great experience overall.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Staff morale. It helps by giving us a way to support one another and recognize each other for the everyday things that aren’t always noticed by upper management.
