Ncontracts Pros and Cons

Ncontracts has what you need from Vendor Management to self management! This use to be a hard question to answer but, there is really nothing I dislike about Ncontracts. Is it the perfect system? No. Does it have hiccups? Yes. It is electronic and will have hiccups every now and then, like all others, but the difference is, chances are, you will hear about it from Ncontracts Support before you find the hiccup! What I like best about Ncontracts is that we have one system where we can track all of our findings, store the enterprise risk assessment and manage our vendors. It is easy to use and has helped us satisfy regulators regarding the monitoring implemented. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Although there is good information regarding step by step processes to utilize the system, I would like to obtain additional guidance when settting the potential exposure of "Financial Exposure" risks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like the flow of the vendor management system. We use Nvendor now and plan to add Nrisk. The detail level and continuity that Nvendor provides our organization is excellent. This solution works for us because we can outsource critical vendor reviews and then do our own review of the documents and findings. Nvendor is a true time saver and comes in very handy at exam time. Our team likes the system becuase it adds consistency to our process. No more spreadsheet and individual ticker notes for tracking key dates. We have multiple admins that work as a team to complete document gathering and due diligence. At times, there is some repetitive actions such as clicking to navigate to the same field for another vendor. It would be nice to have additional shortcuts for navigation. Compared to other vendors, the online training is enough, but there could be more. I like other vendors onlibe live training events. Overall, we are happy with Ncontracts. If i had to choose something I dislike it would be that the user interface can be a bit confusing at times. It can do everything you need it to do but it may not be clear how to "drill down" to the specific dimensions you need to look at. Overall not too bad though. The platform is easy to configure while providing some degree of flexibility to allow us to adapt to changes or custom fields needed for reporting. The integration between modules is very good which prevents our team from re-keying redundant information. Their support and training is also far superior than most other technology providers. Initial configuration, while not difficult, does take some time to enter all of the necessary information. While much of the informational fields are not required, they are needed if you truly want the full benefit of the product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I have only been using the software for a year and find it very user-friendly. We have invested in multiple of the packages offered and find them very benefical; especially Nvendor. I enjoy the colorful personalization and dashboard as I am in it often. It makes it seemless to maintain our vendors. I am still learning how to create reports from the system and wish it was more dynamic on the field selection for creating a report but if I need a report that I can't seem to create, the support team is always there to create for me! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It's nice having everything in the same place. We have been using the lending products for a couple of years and just recently added Nrisk and Ncomply. As a compliance specialist it is nice to have one place to go for all the regs and their updates. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Ncontracts is very easy to use and has plenty of features to help all sizes of institutions. We are on the smaller size and it works well, but it also has the "extras" that bigger organizations will need and can utilize. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There's not very much at all that I dislike. There is one field on one of my reports that I would like to systematically pull (it's a due date field) on the report. Instead, I have to manually enter the due date, but everything else is perfect. It has high level reports that you can provide to executive management, and it has more granular reports for the departments. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

NContracts has been a necessary resource for our bank to monitor for fair lending, CRA, report HMDA. Customer service is excellent! We use NContracts on a daily basis for tracking CRA services, investments and loans. Reporting HMDA data annually is simple. We've use the system for several years.
