The ability to see all the clash detection and focus on the ones that are crucial. **What do you dislike about Navisworks?** I can not think of any function that I dislike or missing from the software. **What problems is Navisworks solving and how is that benefiting you?** To do constructability review, study the 3D model developed by bringing different trades such as civil, structural, electrical, mechanical etc using Navisworks. As a design builder, this helps in providing the construction input to the designers during the design phase so that the issues can be fixed before going to construction. Which in turn helps in increasing the profitability and reducing the RFI's on field. ### 42. The interface is simple enough that new users can navigate and easily understand tools and their abilities, and it is easy to customize that same interface. I use Navisworks extensively in live BIM coordination and have never had any issues slicing up a model, running clash detection, or putting together viewpoints or drawings for field teams to reference. **What do you dislike about Navisworks?** If you have used Revit or AutoCAD before, it's hard to get used to some of the limitations or design tools that are not a part of Navisworks. The interface, feel, and navigational tools are all the same, but some of the abilities to transform or change items have been removed. **Recommendations to others considering Navisworks:** Navis is very easy to pick up on if you have experience with any of Autodesk's other design software. For users with little to no experience, the interface and view tools take a little bit of time to pick up, but once understood, can quickly be mastered. **What problems is Navisworks solving and how is that benefiting you?** BIM coordination, field identification, visualizing future work.
