## Navan (Formerly TripActions) Reviews
 ### 1. Navaan is best place for all your business travel and expenses

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ankush N. | technical architect, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 23, 2023

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

I’ve used Navaan for scheduling trips, booking hotels, and managing other expenses. I can honestly say it’s very good, and by far one of the easiest tools to use.

Scheduling flights works really well, and it lets you add your frequent flyer numbers. Hotel booking is also straightforward and gives a clear view of your options, including reviews and points to help you decide.

Beyond trips, submitting other expenses is very easy too. I just upload the receipt, and it automatically pulls in the details using AI. I have used this for business travels as well as personal. It makes it really easy.

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

Only thing is I can not make bulk expense. I have to register each expense as a single transaction. If this could be fix or improved then 100% mark for the tool.

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In simple world it is making the life really easy. I could tell from experience using other expense system before. This is by far the best one.
It saves me a lot of time which I can use in other activities.

 ### 2. User-Friendly Platform That Simplifies Travel Booking and Expense Management

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kevin D. | Privacy, Compliance, Governance, Risk and Security MGR, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

Navan (formerly TripActions) for its user-friendly platform that simplifies travel booking, expense management, and corporate travel policies. Its seamless integration, real-time updates, and comprehensive reporting features are often highlighted as top benefits

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

I love it, nothing bad to say, no issues to report

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Navigating the world of corporate travel can often be overwhelming and time-consuming. Employees spend hours booking flights, hotels, and transportation, often struggling to find options that align with company policies. Meanwhile, finance teams lack real-time visibility into travel expenses, making it difficult to monitor and control costs.
Navan steps in to change that. It simplifies the entire process by providing a user-friendly platform where employees can easily book their travel arrangements in one place. This not only saves time but also ensures that bookings comply with company policies automatically. With real-time updates and centralized data, organizations gain better oversight of their travel expenses, helping them stay within budget and make smarter financial decisions.
For employees, it means a smoother, more convenient travel experience. For companies, it translates into improved compliance, reduced administrative work, and valuable insights into travel spending. Overall, Navan makes managing corporate travel more efficient, cost-effective, and hassle-free for everyone involved.

 ### 3. Distressing experience, confusion and waste of time

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Delphine D. | Senior Project Leader, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

I don't understand how it's possible to have titles that are confusing when there are so many search and booking engines. For the first time using a system, I wondered what needed to be done at each step.
While the system, used and imposed by my company, knows which hotel was booked by colleagues for the same place and date as my trip, I had to extend the search to find the hotel (which has a note "colleagues have booked this hotel").
The system requires hierarchical validation to finalize. Except that it's not "finalize the booking" that's written. You have to "check availability." I don't know what happens if the desired room is no longer available.
Even though I followed the same procedure as my colleagues (we were leaving together, but each had to spend time making a reservation), my room was not paid for by the system. I had to pay the hotel on-site, while my colleagues had their nights prepaid.
The advantages of Navan are confusion and wasted time.

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

Lack of clarity in the process. Unclear titles. Complicated and non-intuitive procedures. The information that the system possesses and displays is not used ("hotel booked by colleagues on the same dates" indicated but not presented as the first result). Validation page too long (7 printed pages).

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

nothing for me. I imagine that my employer thinks they will find something there in relation to other services.

 ### 4. Autonomous, Easy Travel Booking with Clear Itineraries and Upfront Costs

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amy W. | eCommerce Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

Navan gives employees autonomy over booking their own travel, which takes the hassle away from other teams and lets individuals choose their preferred trip details. I also like the trip overview you can print out like a timetable, as it makes the itinerary easy to follow. It’s great to be able to see the total cost of the trip and approve (or get approval) before booking. The search options are clear and comprehensive, and it saves all of your details for quicker, easier booking in the future, including frequent flyer information. And of course, the Navan rewards encourage more economical booking decisions.

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

Once a trip is approved, each section has to be booked individually, making it slightly cumbersome. Other than that, it's great.

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows clear, pre-approved travel decisions to be made by each member of the team, saving time & money.

 ### 5. Intuitive, Mobile-First Travel and Expenses with Built-In Compliance

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael B. | Senior Vice President Finance and Controller, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

The user experience is extremely intuitive. If you’ve booked travel before, you can quickly figure it out.

The mobile-first application makes on-the-go, real-time expense submission a breeze.

By eliminating traditional expense reports, it lets users focus on their core responsibilities instead of non-value-added compliance reviews. Compliance is built into the policies, and out-of-policy transactions are automatically flagged for review.

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

While the NetSuite integration is reasonable, it is not as robust as some other applications. The types of transactions to integrate into NetSuite were somewhat limited.

Sometimes bookings came over on estimated values with a different actual value hitting the card. Made for some interesting reconciliations at times.

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

From a financial standpoint, we didn’t have an integrated travel platform connected to our ERP, and this solves that gap. The system is inherently exception-based, which frees up valuable time for the team because we no longer need to do full expense report reviews for every submission.

From a non-finance user perspective, we no longer have to visit multiple sites to book travel. It’s all integrated into one platform alongside expense reporting, and adoption is much easier when everything is part of the same, consistent experience.

 ### 6. Buggy Booking Platform Leading to Financial Losses

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Erik R. | Web Developer, Marketing and Advertising, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

At this point nothing. The idea of booking travel through Navan is laughable

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

I don't like anything about Navan. The booking experience was horrible; it was buggy and led to increases in ticket prices. I got a ticket booked eventually, but due to issues with the booking form, my ticket went up by $500 and then another $150. I was booking a flight at the same time as my colleague, and even though we picked the same flights, his booking went through, but mine failed. The support was slow and unhelpful, and eventually, I had to book a more expensive option since Navan couldn't help amend my booking. They also couldn't amend the name on the ticket, causing more delays and expenses. The user interface was buggy, with constant issues like the 'In-policy' number randomly changing. It made finding the correct flight difficult and frustrating. We had similar issues with hotel bookings, getting random errors and delays until the rooms were sold out, forcing us to book more expensive options. Navan rewards seem useless since booking directly is much cheaper. Overall, it's surprising a travel booking platform struggles so much to actually book travel.

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Employee travel booking

 ### 7. Overpromised Onboarding and No Sandbox Make Launch Painful

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

I like the potential for what their system has to offer. The overall look and feel is great, as well as the ability to self-serve a lot on the admin side is a great feature (especially when comparing to Concur).

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

Onboarding has been painful. We were told that it could be done in 7 days, but it took over 3 months to get to the point where we were forced to launch and the launch has been anything but smooth. The lack of a sandbox environment to do any testing has been a major part of our inability to launch timely - I dont know how larger companies go live on their platform with the ability to do little (if any) testing. Our support person is very friendly and builds great rapport, but the support we get on the technical side just isn't up to the caliber that we expected. Definitely am feeling like we were overpromised on the sales side and being unable to deliver those promises on the onboarding piece.

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Providing a more user-friendly UI/UX experience, while providing a better inventory of travel for our team.

 ### 8. Top-Tier Support, User-Friendly Interface with Room for Expense Management Improvement

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sierra B. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 05, 2023

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

I love the support - truly top tier. Very quick, and when not quick it's because the support team is doing what they can to resolve items quickly. They're easy to work with. I like the app as well for the most part. I think it has a pretty friendly interface, easy to filter options for hotels and rentals especially. I don't have to click around too much to get where I need to.

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

The expenses section is a bit tedious. I can't submit multiple expenses at once and add details later; I have to upload a photo one at a time. Adding details to expenses or just adding receipts can be difficult, especially since it can reset to the top, making it time-consuming if I have a lot of expenses. In the app, when trying to book multi-city flights, I can't pick one flight and adjust the others from there like I can on desktop. I have a newer iPhone with the latest software.

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Navan helps with booking flights, hotels, rental cars, and managing expenses. The support is top tier, and the app's friendly interface makes it easy to filter options without much clicking around, streamlining my travel arrangements.

 ### 9. Streamlined Travel Planning with Intuitive UI

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jerry T. | Senior Customer Experience, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

I like the UI of the Navan app. I feel like it's easy to use and easy to navigate. It's better than any other app that I use, like Expedia and all the other stuff. Navan makes it so much easier to book my work trips and even personal trips. It makes everything so much easier and organized. All I have to do is go to the app, and I see my flight information, hotel information, and if I rent a car, everything is in order, so it makes everything much easier. The initial setup was very easy; all I had to do was log in to my work email, use the authorization code, and I was already in.

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

To be honest nothing. I love the product.

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Navan to organize and simplify my work trips. It keeps all my flight, hotel, and car rental information in one place, making everything much easier and more organized.

 ### 10. Navan as a tool for my business

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrea B. | Customer Success Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

What I like about Navan is that it keeps all of my work travel details handy in one place. I also appreciate that I can earn rewards for personal travel, which I use often.

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

Their customer support sometimes doesn’t seem to read what I’m saying and guides me in directions I already tried when trouble shooting. I also dislike that they have different booking platforms in the back and flight credits are sometimes invalid even if they’re on the same airline. Also the new AI feature is not working properly and making my expense reporting more difficult than before with all the errors

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Business travel made easy for employee and employer

 ### 11. Easy All-in-One Booking with a Clear Itinerary and 24/7 Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shane H. | General Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

Navan makes it easy to book flights, hotels, and vehicles all in one place, ensuring you don’t miss anything important for a business trip or a personal trip. It’s very straightforward to use: you just click the items you need to book, choose the prices that work for you, and lock in all of your reservations. It integrates everything into one easy-to-read itinerary, so you never miss a booking or reservation. Customer support is available at all hours if there are any issues or questions you may have. I’ve personally used it on numerous business trips between home and half way across the nation and, so far, I haven’t had any problems with the app or with support.

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

So far, I haven’t experienced any issues while using the app.

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have a hard time looking through multiple booking websites for flights, hotels, and vehicles, but Navan makes it easy to compare options and quickly spot the best choices in each reservation category. I can book what I need without bouncing between sites, and it saves me time and a lot of headaches.

 ### 12. Easy, Intuitive Travel & Expense Management in One Place

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Claus W. | Head of Technical Partnerships and Alliances, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

I use Navan for business travel and expense management. Overall experience has been positive. The platform is easy to use and intuitive, making travel bookings and expense submissions quick. Setup was straightforward and required minimal effort. Navan keeps travel and expense tools in one place. The mobile app works well and helps me manage receipts and trips on the go. Users I work with appreciate the convenience and automation of expense tracking.

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

Some areas could improve. A few times booking steps felt unclear and unexpected charges appeared. Options for certain hotels and flights were limited compared with other tools. The approval workflow added delays for some expenses.

Overall, Navan handles travel and expenses efficiently and delivers solid value for teams.

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Navan addresses business travel and expense challenges by bringing booking, spend tracking, and policy enforcement together in a single platform. It removes many of the manual steps involved in travel planning, receipt capture, and expense reporting, replacing them with automation and real-time data. For me, that means clearer visibility into company spend, stronger budget control, and better compliance with travel policies. Finance teams can rely on dashboards that surface travel and expense activity, with approval workflows built directly into the system.

For travelers, the mobile app makes it easy to book flights, hotels, and cars, scan receipts, and submit expenses while on the go. Navan also supports automated payments, virtual cards, and reporting across multiple currencies. Overall, these features cut down the time spent on manual reconciliation, improve accuracy, and help companies manage costs more effectively.

 ### 13. Streamlined Booking with Easy Management

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gabi K. | Senior Director, A&R, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

I like that Navan (Formerly TripActions) keeps everything in one place, which makes it really easy. I appreciate the ability to streamline options for changing flights and seats directly on the platform. If I have any issues, I have access to a chat rep or an AI rep who helps with questions immediately. I can log in at any time and get all the transparent pricing upfront. It's also great that the setup was very easy, only taking about three minutes to sign up and fill in my information, allowing me to see pricing immediately.

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

I like the fact that we can speak to somebody if we have an issue, but it doesn't really give you the option to talk to a real human. Sometimes specific questions in rare cases might need the human to kind of understand the complexity of whatever the travel issue could be.

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Navan for booking travel because it centralizes pricing options, offers good rates, and lets me easily change flight details and seats all in one place.

 ### 14. Navan’s Price Checker and Weather Alerts Save Money and Keep Travelers Safe

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Accounting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

There are so many helpful things Navan offers us.

Firstly, the price checker has saved us a lot of money as previously travelling employees would find their own flights and hotels. As these wre being billed to the company they would not compare prices, using Navan has ensured we are always getting the best price possible and have the option to reject the spend if it is over our company threshold.

The weather warnings are also great, and have helped us a few times ensure our staff are safe and leave the high risk areas if required to do so.

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

I do not use the system enough to have any downsides. I use the software for reporting business travel and the reporting / administration side of things works flawlessly for what I need

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The cost saving initiative. Our employees would not be checking the prices of hotels (on multiple websites) as it was being billed straight to us so it didnt matter to them, this now gives us the chance to ensure we are picking the most cost effective, but safe, way of travel. Some employees would previously find a cheap hotel which was potentially unsafe so as we can now set a minimuum star rating we know all employees are safe

 ### 15. Intuitive App, Needs Better Pricing and Support

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nancy L. | Senior product designer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

I like that the UI is pretty intuitive and easy to use. It's nice that it's available on an app, making it convenient for me as I don't have to do it on my computer. Usually, I like booking things on my phone, so it's nice that I can do it on my phone, especially when I'm already traveling. I can check to see the information directly there. For me, the initial setup was pretty easy, as I just downloaded the app and I've used it before.

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

I feel like the pricing is higher sometimes than if I just book on the direct site itself. But since my company pays for it, it doesn't matter as much. Sometimes I feel like the flights will be in budget if I book them elsewhere, but they're not on Navan, so then I can't book them on Navan. So that's pretty annoying. And then I had a situation where I had to make major travel changes and Navan was really, really bad at handling that and the customer service. Also very bad.

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Navan simplifies booking hotels and flights for work trips, letting me see all budget-friendly options in one place.

 ### 16. Navan Makes Expense Tracking Effortless and Fast

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christine L. | Operations Supervisor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

It’s incredibly easy to use. When I use the Navan card to make purchases, the process is so simple: I upload my receipt and can quickly choose the expense type, what it’s for, who it’s for, etc. There’s no need to send emails to other departments or spend extra time tracking down the information.

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

So far, I haven’t found anything I dislike about Navan. It’s been a great tool for handling business purchases, and the overall experience has been consistently positive.

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Navan solves the hassle of having to duplicate purchase information in emails to different departments. With everything in one place in the app, it goes directly to the right department without extra back-and-forth. The biggest benefit for me is being able to collect miles for personal use, and I also like that I can easily view my history right in the app.

 ### 17. Streamlined Company Travel Booking with Clean UI and Powerful Reporting

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tatiana Z. | Director of Business Operations, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

Adopting Navan has streamlined travel booking across the company, not only for travelers but also for our finance and admin teammates, thanks to strong reporting and helpful dashboards.

Navan is a user-friendly travel platform with a clean UI and solid UX. For event organizers, it also offers great resources that make the overall experience easier and support better budget control.

Over the last year since we adopted Navan, the platform has continued to evolve, with regular new features and enhancements.

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

There are very few points of sale. In practice, there are only four: the USA, the UK, Mexico, and Singapore. Other major countries, such as those in Europe or Brazil, are priced based on these existing PoS and end up being treated as international purchases, which adds extra fees to credit card payments.

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Navan is a business travel platform that facilitates travel management for a multinational company like ours. It provides visibility into users’ travel behavior, policies, cost control, and other relevant metrics, helping us keep the business on track and take action when needed. Navan also offers strong reporting and admin dashboards, which makes our work much easier.

 ### 18. Navan Makes Transaction Management Simple for Cardholders and Admins

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Building Materials | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

Navan is easy to use for both cardholders and admins. Ever since we went live with Navan, we’ve received many compliments from cardholders about how simple it is to manage transactions, especially compared with the system we used before.

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

We really need the option to expedite card orders. Cards taking 3 weeks or more to arrive hurts getting new employees set up and existing employees moving. We've also had several times where we had to order the card multiple times because it got lost in the mail (we confirmed the address was correct). Also, I do not like all the policy levels, this seems to be overly complex and with transactions clearing in many different expense categories, it can be difficult to manage.

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Now having the option for approvers/managers to only see transactions from their team that have been worked (receipts added, description added) has been a big help. The approvers would previously approve transactions before the card holder could work them and the admin team would get many questions as to why that happened.

 ### 19. Streamlines Travel Booking with Excellent 24/7 Support

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christa R. | Executive Assistant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

I use Navan to book travel and manage expenses for a large number of staff within my organization. It's a simple system to use with excellent 24/7 support, which is particularly important as things can change quickly in business. I appreciate how it streamlines the booking process and saves a lot of time by eliminating the need to switch between multiple platforms. I really like its ease of use and the variety it offers in travel options. Plus, the simplistic way to upload and manage expenses is a big plus for me and my team.

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

There can sometimes be issues with the system when it comes to complex multi-leg trips. There were a few issues with the initial setup because we have multiple jurisdictions.

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Navan simplifies booking travel and managing expenses, saving time by reducing reliance on multiple platforms. It's easy to use, offers excellent 24/7 support, and reduces stress with reliable assistance.

 ### 20. Comprehensive Travel Management with Room for Speed Improvement

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Yvonne W. | Executive Assistant - CEO, CFO & CHRO, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

I like the feature of having everything in one place, like the itinerary for all bookings for a trip. The 'trip' feature works especially well, which is great because, for example, if I have 4 different flights, 2 different hotels, plus a car rental, it lays out the schedule from the first flight to the first hotel, then the second flight and second hotel. The initial setup of Navan was straightforward and smooth. I also like the calendar feature. Now it's automatically sync to my calendar

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

Two things: 1) the loading speed for the website. Sometimes it takes forever to load the page or flight info. 2) the live agent wait time.

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Navan (Formerly TripActions) for booking complex travel involving multiple flights and hotels. The 'trip' feature helps by keeping everything in one place, like the itinerary, making it easier to manage our executives' business trips.

 ### 21. Clean, Easy-to-Navigate App with Prompt, Reliable Support

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jai M. | Account Director, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

The app is easy to navigate, and the help and support available are really prompt and on time. The UI also isn’t cluttered, which makes it feel clean and just right to use.

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

Sometimes there are huge variations in the price on Navan vs external platforms . Additionally to claim Navan rewards there arent many options in India

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

There’s no need to book through external sites or file reimbursement claims afterward. Navan streamlines the entire booking process, and I can also pay using the company virtual card.

 ### 22. Navan Makes Business Travel Booking Fast, Intuitive, and All in One Place

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andres R. | Project Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

What I like most about Navan is how easy it is to book and manage business travel in one place. The platform is very intuitive, and it simplifies the whole process of finding flights, hotels, and transportation. I also appreciate how fast it is to compare options and make changes when needed. The most helpful part is having everything related to travel organized in a single platform. It saves a lot of time because you don’t need to use multiple websites or tools to plan a trip.

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

There isn’t much I dislike, but sometimes the available options can feel a bit limited depending on the location or travel dates. In some cases, prices may not always be the lowest compared to booking directly with airlines or hotels.

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Navan helps solve the challenges of organizing and managing business travel. Instead of dealing with multiple websites, emails, and approvals, everything can be handled in one platform. This makes booking trips faster, keeps travel information organized, and provides better visibility into expenses. For me, it reduces the time and effort needed to plan travel and makes the whole process more straightforward and less stressful.

 ### 23. Go for it if you want your employees to consistently face issues

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ecem I. | Senior Strategy & Operations Associate, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

Nothing really, it's a terrible platform with absolutely horrible customer service, and they try to rip customers off by charging them 6-7 times higher prices for any add-ons than the actual service providers request.

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

Whenever I have an issue, I am let down by their policies. It's very hard to do everything in one booking as they keep looking for ways and have an extremely hard to use UI so that they can charge you the booking fee twice (EUR 7 for my company, but it adds up).

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Centralize corporate travel booking and implement policies that cannot be flexed. The policy indicators (and limitations if the company decides to implement them) are useful

 ### 24. Super Easy Expense Tracking: Receipt Photos + Bank Sync That Just Works

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rebecca H. | VP of Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

It's incredibly easy to use - the ability to take photos of receipts and have them upload right from your phone streamlines the expense process immensely. Also love the linking to your bank account to pull in things you may have not gotten a receipt for at all like vending machines.

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

My only complaint is that I can't change my bookings personally, for example if the company will pay for coach but I want to pay for an upgrade on my personal card after the fact, I cannot do that even under my linked airline miles account because someone else technically booked it.

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The flight booking is so much easier than other products I have used; the expense submission process is a million times easier than any other product I have ever used.

 ### 25. Convenient Expense Management with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

I really like the AI feature in Navan (Formerly TripActions). It's super handy because if I have receipts, I can simply upload them. Then it efficiently extracts useful data from those receipts and converts them into transactions, which then go to my manager for approval.

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

I think one problem is the multiple receipt. So when I try to attach multiple receipts, it still creates one transaction with only the first transaction amount in it. It forgets it is not able to account for the remaining pages of the receipts that I added. Let's say by three transactions, I add all three of them. It will only show the first even if I combine them. I think that is one issue. Another issue is flight bookings. At some point, my company asked us to book tickets and flights through Navan. It was much, much more expensive compared to online flight booking that I could do from other platforms. I wouldn't have expected Navan to charge a premium for these kinds of things. In fact, they should be discounted flights. I was hoping that Navan would give me flights which are cheaper than everything else outside. But here it was the reverse, and then I stopped using Navan for doing that.

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Navan helps me manage reimbursements for company expenses and simplifies uploading receipts with useful data extraction for manager approval.

 ### 26. Unresolved double charges -- watch out for customer support failings.

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

I dislike the platform overall, would not recommend it to anyone. I find that the pricing is often not in line with direct airline websites, and the hotel choices are sometimes limited.

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

I find that the pricing is not in line with what is directly available through either airline or other websites. The rules based pricing is often arbitrary, and changes regularly based on the cheapest options available, often leading to conflicts. I also have an unresolved dispute where I was charged twice for the same hotel room, but it has been more than 3 months of responses saying "we'll have a resolution in a few business days".

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has not benefited me at all.

 ### 27. Excellent Reporting & HRIS Integration, but LCC Options and Support Need Work

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Leisure, Travel & Tourism | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

The reporting is excellent which saves me a ton of time when I need to report on our business travel. I love the option to book private travel and receiving rewards. The integration with our HRIS works very well, I never have to manually add or remove team members.

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

The lack of low cost carriers in open jaw connections. The support isn't all that great and the bookings sometimes don't make it clear which style of luggage is included which has led to problems when checking in.

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As travel manager I can trust the team to book their travel independently on Navan because of the policies and safeguards in place. I know they will use the correct payment method because I can set it up in the backend.

 ### 28. Easy to Use - Develop an easy trip itenerary

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mark O. | Senior Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

It develops you booking around a trip itinerary. You start with your flights. Flights can be easily sorted by number of stops, departure/arrival times, etc. Hotel are easily added. It is easy to adjust your trip with little hassle. It is nice there is only one upfront fee for a given trip/itinerary. Customer support has been helpful when needed. I typically use NAVAN about once a month. I also like the integration with Outlook. Saves times.

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

Switching from our previous service provider has been a great move for our company. That said, I’d like to see more discounts on airfares for personal travel.

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our prior travel management company and software was not very user friendly and customer service was horrible. It has been a great switch to NAVAN.

 ### 29. Streamlined Business Travel and Expense Management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nabin P. | CEO, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

I like the all-in-one platform that Navan offers for booking, policy compliance, and expense management. The easy-to-use interface, real-time updates, and automated expense tracking make managing business travel simple and stress-free. I also appreciate how the setup was quick and straightforward, allowing us to create team accounts and configure travel policies easily, getting us up and running in just a few days. Navan streamlines flight and hotel bookings, ensures team adherence to travel policies, and automates expense reporting, saving us time and reducing errors.

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

Some areas for improvement are limited flexibility with unusual travel requests, occasional sync issues with certain expense platforms, and mobile app performance can lag at times.

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Navan streamlines flight and hotel bookings, ensures policy compliance, and automates expense tracking, solving manual booking, compliance issues, and expense headaches. It saves time and reduces errors.

 ### 30. All-in-One Corporate Travel Booking That Saves Me Time

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alican T. | Senior SDR, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

Being able to book my corporate travel for both flights, hotels and even rent cars all in one place! It also saves me time from having to expense my own travel as once done on Navan, our companies corporate card is linked to my account.

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

It's rare but it can be quite slow to load at times, especially when it starts searching for flight/hotel options.

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Empowering everyone at my company to book travel - headache free - at the click of a button without having to worry about any expenses.

 ### 31. Best Expense and Travel Tool that I have used yet! Highly recommended.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matthew L. | Sr People Business Partner, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 08, 2022

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

I like the ability to comprehensively plan travel and include rewards accounts. For the expense side, submission via the Liquid app is super easy and reimbursement is quick and painless!

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

Nothing at this point - I like Navan a lot! It is easily accessed, user interface is great and reimbursements are quick and painless.

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to submit expenses quickly and get reimbursed weekly, directly into my bank account, is a game changer. Trip planning is also quick and easy, and it integrates smoothly with my calendar.

I’ve had trips change at the last minute and needed to reach out to Navan customer service. They were top-notch—responsive, helpful, and made the changes easy to manage.

 ### 32. Incredibly Intuitive UI That’s Easy to Navigate

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jenny U. | Senior Community Trust & Safety Manager, Telecommunications, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

I find the UI incredibly easy to use. Everything is organized in an intuitive way, so it’s simple to navigate and easy to find what I need.

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

I wish the travel options were better and more clearly organized, especially in terms of what’s available directly through Navan versus what’s offered through a partner.

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It brings together all parts of the business travel booking process in one place, which makes it easier to manage everything from a single location.

 ### 33. Avoid it if possible. Cost control doesn’t need navan

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

It allows you to book in one place but i can do it the same in booking platform so in short , I don’t see value

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

My membership data pass to airline for my first flight, and missing for 2nd flight .

All benefits missing and airline asked for 40usd for additional 1kg baggage - and 5kg cost more than the ticket alone…

Can you imagine I have benefits for half of my flight and then rhe second half nth.

For any traveller, what to expect in the trip is very important and this small issue shows navan immature platform and should avoid if you are not trying to piss of some senior management in the organization

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

No, it does not benefit me.

 ### 34. Effortless Travel Booking, Slight Confusion with Pricing

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

I like how Navan makes it easy for me to quickly find and compare flights and book them along with hotels. The reimbursement process is something I particularly like; it's very intuitive and allows me to submit my expenses and bills quickly. I can just scan my travel bills, and it automatically fills in the form for me, which I really like. Searching for flights and hotels is also straightforward, and submitting expenses is quick.

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

Usually, one confusing thing that I've noticed is when I try to book the hotels, it gives me one price to start with, and then there are multiple options listed below. I do not understand what those options are for, and they all have different prices listed. It's very difficult to understand what those mean and what it means if I choose any of those. I was slightly confused in setting up my bank account for my reimbursements.

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Navan makes it easy to quickly find and compare flights, book travel, and efficiently handle hotel bookings. I particularly like the reimbursement feature as I can just scan my travel bills, and it automatically fills in the form for me, which is great.

 ### 35. User friendly Platform for business trip booking

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Patty Z. | Sr Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

I use Navan to book my flight tickets and hotels for business trips, and I appreciate that there are many flight and hotel options to choose from to finalize my business trips. I find it to be a straightforward platform with many choices, which makes it easy to finalize trips. It's easy to use and user-friendly software.

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

For some cases, it is better if I can modify the trip options after I finalize them within certain hours or a day. For example, I booked a hotel for 5 days, but I forgot to choose the option with free breakfast. When I went back my booking information, I have to either cancel the booked hotel, rebook the hotel and add the breakfast option, or leave it with the current option without breakfast. If we can easily add or modify the current booking, that will be great.

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Navan offers many flight and hotel options, making it easy to finalize business trips with a straightforward platform and numerous choices.

 ### 36. Easy Receipt Accountability and Smoother Reconciliation with Clear Policy Levels

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Health, Wellness and Fitness | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

accountability with receipt uploads, department managers are responsible for ensuring all charges made with the trip action card have a receipt associated with it, and it's easy for our accounting department to be able to reconcile when you can classify who has a default, executive, or director policy level.

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

not too many things, maybe the fact that when running reports from our HRIS system (paycom) to compare with the active Navan users, I wish I could enter in an employee ID on Navan to make it easier for vlookups in our reporting comparison

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

chasing people for receipts to reconcile was always an issue. With Navan, they upload their own receipts, which makes it way more seamless to keep them accountable.

 ### 37. Effortless Travel Booking with Seamless Integration

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hannah L. | Customer Success Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

What I like best about Navan is how easy it makes booking travel. The interface feels modern and intuitive, and it’s simple to compare flights, hotels, and rental cars in one place. The real-time pricing and clear policy indicators is very helpful and clear. Navan was to implement across our organisation and the setup was straightforward, and the support team has been very responsive whenever questions come up. Our team uses it eqculsively for booking travel I also appreciate how well it integrates with other tools we rely on, like slack, keeping travel, approvals, and reporting all in one seamless workflow.

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

The one area that can be less helpful is pricing - sometimes flights are cheaper on other websites. While Navan is very convenient and centralizes travel and expense management, there are occasions where I need to check competitors to ensure we’re getting the lowest fare.

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Navan solves the problem of keeping track of multiple bookings, especially complex multi-city trips, which used to be difficult to manage. It centralizes all travel information in one platform, making it easy to see itineraries, track expenses, and know what the budget is for each trip. This has saved a lot of time, reduced errors, and given our team better visibility into travel spending and planning.

 ### 38. Effortless Reimbursements with a User-Friendly App

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Melissa R. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

I use Navan (Formerly TripActions) for expense meals through my employer. It's really easy to submit receipts and receive reimbursement, which makes the app super user friendly for me. I love how easy it is to fill in the sections needed for reimbursement details. I actually like the ease of use of the app and the funny little quirky jokes that pop up while waiting for my receipt to upload. I also appreciate that I can save drafts of expenses I haven't completed, and how easy it is to delete information or track my reimbursement, seeing whether it's approved or just submitted. It's convenient that the reimbursement goes directly back into my account.

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

I think probably just the fact that I don't see what stage it's in, like, if anything else is needed from me. When my reimbursement or expenses are submitted, or sometimes, like, how long it will take to be reviewed. I'm always worried that maybe I'm missing a submission deadline to get the expense reviewed and processed.

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Navan simplifies expense reimbursement, making it easy to submit receipts and track approvals. Its user-friendly interface reduces task overwhelm, and I appreciate its humor and direct deposit feature.

 ### 39. Effortless Travel Management, Needs Better Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bryan M. | Chief Technology Officer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

I find Navan incredibly easy to use and navigate, and I love that I can access it from any device, whether it's my laptop or mobile phone. The app lets me input receipts instantly by using my phone’s camera or electronic receipts, which is really convenient. I appreciate how it allows me to input expenses right when I'm at a restaurant, adding details like attendees immediately, so I don't forget later. Plus, I don’t have to worry about losing receipts since I can enter the information on the spot. Setting it up initially was very easy, too.

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

Customer service can be difficult to reach and do not always help me with my issues. I also think they should empower them more and staff them better so that wait times are faster. Plus, giving them a better customer experience platform, like retooling with a Contact Center platform from 8x8, Inc., would be beneficial.

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Navan books my travel, handles expenses in real-time, and tracks reimbursements. It's easy to use on any device. I input receipts instantly, preventing loss and capturing details immediately.

 ### 40. A high-friction tool that complicates travel

**Rating:** 0.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Zachary Q. | Co-Founder, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 18, 2026

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

Not much - the system does not provide any novel functionality compared to alternatives on the market.

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

The system is filled with bugs:
1) Hotel cancellation showed as processed in-app but hotel vendor showed duplicate bookings and double-charged
2) Hotel options showed as available - but upon selecting, no options were available. This was tested using different computers/apps.
3) System did not process Avis rewards - loyalty number was added but did not flow to the vendor. This caused me to wait >60min in a standard line even while being a presidential club member.
4) Numerous bugs/glitches of windows/popups. Refreshing pages was needed plenty of times. Popups that explain how Navan is the easiest, most modern system were getting frozen.

Navan isnt doing anything novel. Hundreds of websites like kayak/priceline/google offer aggregation.

Tools from SAP have made the process of expense reporting seamless long before Navan.

From a front-end user after two trips in the last 30 days - i would not recommend this product.

Read Reddit - which is filled with real-world experiences, this tool is not helpful. Navan proudly exclaims a $1B valuation after hundreds of millions raised. Wouldn't it be nice if they invested some of that in the product?

Most importantly, no customer support is offered.
With tools from Amex / Concur / SAP, there is immediate support for travel challenges. Navan has a circa-2023 chatbot that is highly ineffective.
Many companies who do this well invest in chatbot training - and are closely monitored by humans. This is not Navan - couldn't get support when i needed it.

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Not sure - legacy tools have solved the challenges of travel management long ago. I traveled over 35 times last year with minimal friction. I began using Navan in Feb 2026 and have only had problems introduced.

 ### 41. Efficient Travel Management with Real-Time Visibility

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** SARAI Z. | Process Engineer, Manufacturing, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

Additionally, Navan provides me with real-time visibility of my expenses, which makes it easier to maintain better control. The initial setup of the system also seemed very easy to me.

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

In some cases, the availability of flights is limited compared to other platforms.

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Navan to manage my business trips and better control my expenses. It solves the problem of low expense visibility, allowing me to see my expenses in real time, which makes control easier. Additionally, by integrating travel and expenses into one platform, I spend less time on administrative tasks.

 ### 42. Effortless Expense Reporting Made Easy

Navan takes care of everything from booking to submitting and tracking all of my expenses related to business. The access to both physical and digital cards makes it really easy for me to charge business-related expenses directly to my account. Everything I need for booking, like flights and hotels, is all in one place. The overall process is very simple and easy to use. The initial setup was very simple, didn't take too long, and I received my card shortly after. The setup process is very user-friendly.

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

Haven't run into any issues with the platform.

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Navan simplifies my expense submissions, making the process easy with its card system for business expenses. It acts as a one-stop shop, handling booking, submitting, and tracking tasks effortlessly, ensuring I don't need to work outside the platform.

 ### 43. Effortless Travel Management, Easy to Use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Angel R. | Plant breeding technician

**Reviewed Date:** February 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

I use Navan for work-related travel, both locally and internationally. I appreciate that it helps me book hotels and vehicles and manage expenses during business trips. What I like most is how easy it is to use—the app and website are very user-friendly. I also find it great that Navan can be used internationally, as I experienced during a business trip in Spain. It was really convenient not to worry about currency exchange, as I used Navan to pay for everything, including food and hotel. The initial setup was really easy; I just needed to create an account, and it was ready to use.

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

The app and the website are easy to use, but I would like to see a more interactive app and website. I would like to see a renovated app. I don't have anything specific in mind, but for sure there is room for improvement in the app.

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Navan solves expense issues during trips, providing easy hotel and vehicle bookings. It's user-friendly and works internationally, freeing me from currency exchange worries.

 ### 44. Effortless Trip Planning, Proposal Process Needs Work

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Public Safety | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 12, 2021

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

I really like that everything is done in one platform with Navan (Formerly TripActions). It manages our expenses effortlessly; I just upload a receipt when needed, and the expense reporting is great because I don't have to do much else. Booking my flights, hotel, and car all in one place is convenient, and I also appreciate being able to view different prices and options that are available.

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

The proposal process is kind of a pain, taking a long time to put together. Once submitted to my supervisor for review, I cannot delete it or edit it. If I need to add anything to the trip, I have to submit another proposal. So the whole proposal process can be worked on. Through the app, I could never get the proposal processed to actually submit. I would go through choosing the flight and everything, but I can't get the proposal to actually submit. I then have to go and rebuild everything through the desktop.

**Recommendations to others considering Navan (Formerly TripActions):**

It is so much easier than using other travel apps like Travelocity and Expedia. I use TripActions primarily for business, but will be using it for my personal travel as well.

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Navan to book my entire trip itinerary on one platform and share it with my family easily. It also manages our expenses, where I just upload a receipt when needed. I can book flights, hotels, and cars in one place and view different prices and options.

 ### 45. User-Friendly Travel Management with Engaging Rewards

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lacey E.

**Reviewed Date:** February 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

I love the interface of Navan (Formerly TripActions) because it's visually enticing and easy to use. I also love that it offers rewards after spending certain amounts on trips and travel, which makes it fun to use. The easy navigation is another feature I appreciate; it’s really helpful, especially when trying to book travel. It makes the whole process more enjoyable and motivates me to keep booking and spending money on the platform. Overall, it's very easy to find where to book certain things and to use different tools, which just enhances the ease of navigation.

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

I think the only thing I'm thinking of is I tried to invite my team members to the group trip. We had a summit, and they didn't all join or they didn't all understand how to use it or the purpose of it. I did it so that we could see everyone's travel and flight plans and then coordinate lifts and stuff. So I think that could be better because not everyone actioned that space.

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Navan makes booking travel and hotels much easier by consolidating all our travel information into one place.

 ### 46. Streamlined Global Travel Management with Navan

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

I find Navan (Formerly TripActions) super easy and intuitive to use, especially for booking work travel. The chat features and support are really quick and responsive. It's typically easy to get a customer rep on the phone if needed. When I need to change a flight due to a delay or cancellation, I can get someone to help me quickly, and they resolve the issue without a ton of hassle. Often, I can resolve most things via their in-app chat feature, which is really handy.

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

The only issue I've run into is occasionally they won't offer a specific flight I'm looking for that I see on Google flights. But this is rare.

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Navan for work travel bookings, enjoying its ease and intuitive interface. Quick, responsive chat support and fast issue resolution enhance my experience, especially when changing flights due to delays.

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

I use Navan for business trips, and it really streamlines all the details. I love how Navan can calculate my mileage and tell me what I'll be compensated by my employer, making the process quick, easy, and stress-free. It's amazing that it tracks my mileage, drive time, and provides all the important information I need about my hotel stay. I also find it really cool that Navan lists all important airline booking and hotel reservation information for me to access. The initial setup was very easy and done quickly. I really think other businesses should utilize Navan for company trips.

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

I'm not sure how it could be integrated, but if there was a navigation system in the app, it would make Navan elite. I'm not sure if it's possible, but it would be an amazing feature.

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Navan to streamline business trip details, track mileage, and calculate compensation easily. It provides quick access to essential info like bookings and reservations, making travel stress-free.

 ### 49. Effortless Expense Management, Seamless Travel Booking

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

I really appreciate Navan (Formerly TripActions) for making expense submission to my company really easy. I can take a picture of my receipt, have the app create a draft expense report for me, and quickly submit it. It's linked to my Uber account, making it easy to submit those expenses as well. I also like the ability to compare flights and accommodations within the app, which is pretty helpful. The expense management is my favorite part as I can take a picture of the receipt right in the moment and submit an expense right away, so I don't end up with a bunch to do at the end of the trip. Also, the initial setup was exceptionally easy.

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

I have had a couple instances with Uber where I add a tip and then I get two draft expense reports. One with the tip and one without. Sometimes it's hard for me to navigate which drafts I still need to submit and which ones are duplicates because of tip and no tip.

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Navan to schedule trips and manage expenses. It simplifies submitting expenses by letting me take pictures of receipts and submit reports easily. I also like the comparison of flights and accommodations within the app.

 ### 50. Streamlined Travel Management with Minor Reimbursement Delays

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

I find Navan's platform to be extremely easy, simple, and user-friendly, which makes managing travel and expenses much less complicated. I really like how quick and immediate it is to upload receipts—right after swiping my card, I can get a prompt to upload the receipt, which helps me stay organized and compliant with documentation. Navan really keeps everything structured and makes it easy to group expenses per trip, so I never lose track of my budget. The app's ease of use, combined with its quick functionality, keeps me on top of my expenses, especially since traveling for work can get pretty complicated.

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

I think one of the things that I've faced challenges with Navan is just seeing reimbursements quickly. Sometimes, for example, the flight gets canceled or if I have to change a flight and I should be receiving a credit of some sort, those credits back to my account take a really long time. Sometimes it takes a couple weeks for me to get that credit posted to Navan, and my deadline for the budget submission may have already passed by then. So that's the one challenge that I really see.

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Navan simplifies creating trips and keeping expenses grouped per trip, making it easy to track budgets. It lets me quickly upload receipts and avoid losing them, and efficiently tracks expenses for compliance.
