**What do you like best about N-able N-Sight RMM?**

N-Sight is a great tool that lets me remotely access end-user machines. I like using the chat option before I connect so I can get the user’s permission first. I also occasionally use the VoIP call feature, especially when there’s a microphone or audio issue on the end user’s machine.

**What do you dislike about N-able N-Sight RMM?**

One thing I dislike about rmm is how quickly the timeout option kicks in.

**What problems is N-able N-Sight RMM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One of my favorite tools is the ability to push policies and tasks, which lets me reboot users’ machines when needed. Honestly, this solves about 50% of issues most of the time, often before they even happen.

N-Sight is very intuitive and easy to use. The dashboard offers an unparalleled view of your assets across multiple sites, and it’s easy to navigate. Onboarding a new asset literally takes just a few minutes, and the alerts are clear, easy to read, and simple to manage. N-able pays attention to user feedback and continuously improves its products, which feels like a win-win. The asset classification and filtering tools do a great job, and the reports are detailed and useful.

I think the billing part needs a bit of improvement otherwise no other issues

We are a medium sized firms with remote employees across the country. We are constantly monitoring our endpoints for optimium performance and security. N-Able does a great job at this!

I like N-able N-Sight RMM because it's very easy to install, very lightweight, and very powerful. The ease of use during installation saves us time while setting up on new computers and reduces overall labor. I've been using it for over ten years, and now it's very easy to use.

Really, the patch management could be better on N-able N-Sight RMM, and I think that's about all we would really like to see improved.

N-Able has been my company’s UEM since the beginning. We use several other N-able products as well, and we consistently recommend them because of their features. The Sentinel 1 integration streamlines our company’s response to security events.

**What do you dislike about N-able N-Sight RMM?**

Not related to RMM. But we’ve come across several endpoints that were isolated by Sentinel 1 and was unable to be removed from quarantine remotely.

Solving issues within the EDR will help avoid on sites when an endpoint is isolated.

We use N-sight across more than 1,800 workstations and 500 servers. We rely on this tool to alert us to issues and to track assets and software. It’s the backbone of our support team, helping us respond quickly and address problems as they come up.

Patch management (I understand they have a solution for that now) but was the major issue

The interface is straightforward and easy to navigate. Implementation and rollout to clients were simple, and the robust feature set—managed all in one place—makes it a tool I use daily with minimal issues. Their customer support and Partner Success Managers have been incredibly helpful and knowledgeable every step of the way.

Occasionally, I feel as if I don't know enough about all of the capabilities associated with the platform and sometimes am not sure which questions to ask to find out that information.

I am able to easily manage all systems in one place, remotely. The automation tools allow me to run tasks and deploy updates without having to physically or individually touch each machine, which saves a ton of time. It’s been a game-changer for troubleshooting and cuts down on the need to drive out to each client.

On paper, N-central offers a wide range of features, and the monitoring coverage seems impressive. The problem is that the reality doesn’t live up to the promise. Most features require endless tweaking just to work at a basic level, and they rarely deliver consistent results.

**What do you dislike about N-able N-Sight RMM?**

The number of features looks good, but most are either unreliable or half-baked. Agents often fail, patch management doesn’t work consistently, and reporting is inaccurate. Instead of saving time, it creates extra work.

Customer support is poor, responses are slow and usually generic, rarely solving the actual issue. To make things worse, the contract includes a 3-month exit notice, which feels like a trap once you realise the product doesn’t deliver.

**What do you like best about N-able N-Sight RMM?**

N-Sight is great, able to manage endpoints, the backend, really great UI, pretty straight forward and  lets you see clearly is connected, options on how to manage or edit systems, such as Patch management and more. I really love N-Sight over other remote management service available. Getting started is simple too, just had my account made, and was gliding through features and tools right from the get go. N-able's customer support team is amazing, they get back to us very fast and prompt with various answers or solutions to issues or concerns we have. I use N-able on a daily base and haven't every really had problems with it.

**What do you dislike about N-able N-Sight RMM?**

N-Sight is pretty solid, covers most of my daily MSP daily needs and uses, I have no real issues with it.

We're able to remote into user's systems and troubleshoot software and hardware issues remotely, the connection is great and seamless, setting up is easy as well, and we're able to push updates from the backend as a well.

so much useful information all ready on the dashboard of my PC. I can manage and resolve any issue of my clientele in an instant. The speed of receiving information about the Client's infrastructures is impressive, and I can operate on any problem in a simple and very professional way.

**What do you dislike about N-able N-Sight RMM?**

It's hard to say what is not liked. In terms of Solution, there is a lot to work on and probably never usable for small and medium-small Clients. Technically impeccable for total control over large Clients. I find the simple but efficient operational concept preferable to more sophisticated and ultimately dispersive visualization models.

All the functionality of the Client's IT infrastructure must always be efficient during the daily operation of their work, and therefore monitoring and intervening at any moment on the HW and SW material is essential to ensure security and reliability in the continuation of the work.

The features of this product for the most part are useful and valuable to the businesses support department. When functioning correctly, it allows us to service our customers seamlessly, increasing the quality of service that we can provide.

**What do you dislike about N-able N-Sight RMM?**

The user interface can feel outdated, and in some cases onboarding devices and assets can fail, for example installs of EDR sometimes fail. For the most part this isn't an issue.

**What problems is N-able N-Sight RMM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

N-Sight allows us to monitor customer devices and servers without the need for having to have physical access to them. This is convenient, as it allows us to complete checks, and first line analysis without disturbing the customers service in any way.

I like the ease of use. It is user friendly and easy to navigate to anywhere and anything you need.

The customer support tab needs some help. It doesn't always have all the options I find that fits my errors.

**What do you like best about N-able N-Sight RMM?**

The product is easy to use and easy to implement.  I use it daily every morning.  I've become proficient with monitoring templates and automation which has greatly improved my onboarding and operational efficiency.  Customer support is often very helpful and this quite a bit of documentation, recordings, office hours, and boot camps.  No company I know does more to educate their partners.

**What do you dislike about N-able N-Sight RMM?**

Tasks sometimes execute when they should and sometimes they are greatly delayed.  I know there is work being done in this regard.  I'd like to see some consistency and stability.  Also, more reports need to be available in PDF form  not .CSV and .XML.

Greater visibility into the devices I manage, self-healing, and ease of onboarding new devices.

It is set up, but I'm not sure if this is working properly I have seen a few times of users getting a pop up of their device being compromised and the only way to get it to go away is to power completely off and back on and I can't have this happening.

**What do you like best about N-able N-Sight RMM?**

Before I used the dashboard, I watched at least 20 short videos in their Youtube account to familiarize with the dashboard. These short videos are only around 1-2 minutes. After that, It was smooth logging in and adding my devices. The dashboard is pretty straightforward and just looking at it, I know what to click and do so it didn't take long for the implementation to complete and add my devices to appear in the dashboard. Running the default checks is automatic right after adding a device which I really like. There's an option to add more checks but I think the default ones are already good enough. 

One thing I also like is the Script Manager. I don't know how to script but Script Manager I can just go into the pre-made cookbooks, download them and start running as an Automated task on my device. I haven't done it but they also have integrations with PSA, Backup and Recovery, as well as Password manager and more. 

The N-Able Me portal is also a helpful tool for documentation and support. It's good to have a single console to do both.

**What do you dislike about N-able N-Sight RMM?**

I really like the short waiting time to install the agent but it's really good to have like a loading bar to know where you are in the installation. I haven't had any unsuccessful installation but I don't know what will happen if there is.

**What problems is N-able N-Sight RMM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Going around to customers physically is a tediuos task. Having an RMM solution to monitor their devices is a must. From reactive approach, I love being proactive to these devices. Like it's good to know what's happening on the devices and you can detect issues early on and take action as necessary.

Bringing of multiple products into one single pane is extremely useful and not hainvg to check multiple dashboards for separate checks saves a lot of time. This has been a great feature for a number of years.

Over the past few years, some of the integrated features have been migrated off to separate dashboards and while  the customers were told tht fuller integration is planned some of this has still not been competed.

**What problems is N-able N-Sight RMM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We used to use the integrated MDM but Android support finished few years ago and it still has not been replaced. This was very disappointing and we had to find an alternative solution.
EDR with Sentinel One works very well and the product is very good. We can offer it as an upgrade to the standard AV to our customers and it helps them meet their compliance requirements.
RMM enables us to easily monitor all of our customers' enpoints and provide remote support wherever they are. Asset tracking is also very useful, although it could be more flexible with reporting functionality.

**What do you like best about N-able N-Sight RMM?**

I like that reporting, creating reports on your agents, and services is user friendly.  Take Control is one of the best remote KVM options that is probably most competitive to Connectwise ScreenConnect.  This platform seems to be the most feature parity to the platform I am most familiar with.

Overall performance is good compared to others like Kasaya, Teamviewer, Ninja, and so on.

**What do you dislike about N-able N-Sight RMM?**

I wished that patch management worked more reliably.  When bundling and using S1 EDR with N-able N-sight the agent filepaths for patch manager, File Cache Service, Advanced Monitor Agent were automatically added for the S1 console.  Going back to fix were S1 has created possible issues with the agent services.

I wished we had the ability to shange or update the email messages with our public dns for the automated emails for user accounts, MFA resets, user account password resets and email alerts.

I think the N-able notification icon custom badging/branding should be free of charge.

Wish Take Control sessions worked with Linux servers, desktops and appliances, even a remote CLI take control for linux servers and devices would be good.  Having S1/EDR automatically install on Linux servers, workstations and appliances after N-able agent installation.

**What problems is N-able N-Sight RMM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Remote management.
Patch Management in the place of WSUS for AD resources and servers.
Remote background access for trouble shooting.
Scripting and Automating tasks is helpful with mass amount of workstations.

Navigation can be confusing at times, with settings taking ore clicks to implement changes for a single workstation.  The checks are sometimes incorrect on if a process is stopped.

I enjoy the ease of use. The automated tasks are very useful and I use them nearly daily. Everything works well and is reliable for the most part. It makes my job a lot easier than it would be without.

The downloads and installation are super easy which is nice considering some installations can be a nightmare.

**What do you dislike about N-able N-Sight RMM?**

The only thing that comes to mind is issues with connectivity. Some days, for any given workstation, it will work perfectly fine one day and other days it won't connect to that work station at all.

Main issue is mainly with Macs using RMM. There is a common issue among all our clients where Macs will stop reporting all together. The only way I have found to fix this is to turn off N-Able Technologies in Login Items and then Re-enable after restarting. This is a big headache because it requires schedulling time,  then remoting in and doing a simple fix. Not a big deal for 1 or 2 computers, but this has been an issue that has affected tens of computers at a time, which is quite cumbersome to schedule in between handling other tickets.

Makes my work much more efficient. Biggest thing is it allows me to work from home regularly. 

Tons of automation to make regular maintenance tasks much more efficient.

With N-able were able to manage all of our clients from a single dash board, more RMM's offer and many offer additional features at a premium price that we just did not need at this stage. I feel overall you get a lot for the money. The interface is easy to use and the dashboard is clear.
Remote access was one of the most important features along with being able to monitor multiple backup vendors across our client base.

**What do you dislike about N-able N-Sight RMM?**

We came to N-able from Goto Assist who we had been with since they first started. I had looked at Datto RMM which was very expensive and we did not need all of the features, My biggest disapointment is the remote access interface - compared to Goto which has a single screen holding multiple sessions, N-able creates multiple windows which are hard to keep track of - we can have 20+ sessions operating at the same time especially if we are working with 3rd parties. 
The remote access is also not as reliable as goto assist - I will say it has improved massively over the 18 months we have used it but it still occassionally refuses to connect so for this reason we have continued to pay for Goto Assist.

**What problems is N-able N-Sight RMM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our primary use is remote access and monitoring of backups. This works well and we've started to use patch management too altought it does not allow us to patch 3rd party applications. We've found some helpful reports in Sentinal One which get around this issue. We've also started to setup the alerts for disk space, processor load etc and remove some of the triggers were not using. This means we can now see at a glance where there are potential issues and address them before they become critial.
For EDR - I dont find it particularly useful - we're in the process of migrating from Trend, if the dashboard included more information of the EDR status it might be more helpful

The remote background management features allow me to effectively manage systems without needing to be logged in to the client's desktop.  The automation features save me time by providing routine maintenance operations of the systems that I manage.  Scripted installations allow me to initialize and install most of the software on a system without having to tediously install each piece of software individually.

**What do you dislike about N-able N-Sight RMM?**

Integrating N-able N-Sight with some security providers was difficult to get configured properly at first.  After some work, I have managed to get these software packages to work together.  The software and the dashboard does not integrate with or report on many known anti-malware products, making management of that sofware tedious.

N-able N-Sight allows the remote management of a large quantity of systems without having to show up on site.  By providing remote support and maintenance capabilities, I am able to manage a larger number of systems.

The modularity of the services I can offer to my client. Being able to add and remove products as required is a huge upside. Not only that, but it's easy to implement on new client systems.

While it might not be possible, tighter integration with Sentinel One would be really nice to have. Having to go to an external site to manage it is a little out of the way for my liking, but I understand it from an integration perspective.

Organizations I manage now have one antivirus solution for everything they use and I'm no longer paying exorbitant prices for remote access software from other companies. Additionally, virutally everything on-device that I have to manage is right there in the panel.

N-Sight is a very reliable and easy to use RMM software, I've found that being able to remote onto users machine in the background without them need to interactive has been a very useful tool.

I dislike that sometimes it doesn't sync properly with the machine I'm trying to connect to, sometimes it shows the machine as being offline but I can still remote through to it.

And other times it shows as being online when the machine is turned off.

It also doesn't keep up to date with machines that have been rebooted.

N-Sight is helping to bridge the gap between us and our end users, allowing us to help support them without needing to be on site.

Powerful and easy to use features, such as remote powershell and command line, allowing us to interact with client devices in a powerful way. Other features such as seeing the file system, applications, processes, makes diagnosing and supporting client devices so much easier without having to bother them by actually remoting onto their devices.

The take control feature can sometimes be temperamental, it sometimes says server offline when it isn't and sometimes just times out and buffers without letting us connect, leaving us to use the standalone version.

**What problems is N-able N-Sight RMM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It provides access and insights/control into client devices which is important since this role is for IT support, having this deep level of control to client devices allows us to administer effective support. This is especially important since this is remote support without much physical access to devices so a robust solution is important to our business function.
