**What do you like best about Mynewsdesk?**

The system is user-friendly, allowing me to connect with important individuals. Even when my article isn't picked up, I can see who has opened it, and it's always greatto discover the interesting people engaging with our work. Overall, it's extremely useful and helpful to track who is interacting with our content.
The accountant managers are friendly and very easy to work with. Both very fast in handling requests.

**What do you dislike about Mynewsdesk?**

The fact that I have not "broken the code" on getting my articles forwarded. Our articles are good news. It's all about creating a better world and I feel like people would be uplifted by reading these good news rather than regular national media who forwards 80% of bad news (shooting, killings, taxes frauds, etc etc)

I use Mynewsdesk for publishing articles, news, and press releases. I find it easy to find relevant journalists and topics, and it's straightforward to create good-looking press releases. I really like that it is easy to use and navigate. The preview feature is enjoyable because it makes it easy to see what will be put out into the world. The initial setup of Mynewsdesk was very easy.

I find that it is not as good for the German market.

The contact lists are not very userfriendly, as I can't see the contacts when I select the preferred contact list. I need to doublecheck when sending out to a specific list, but I need to do so in two different windows.

Very user-friendly. Gets the message out.

Not much. Sometimes I've experienced that people have not received a press release. In this case, I've put their list on the distribution, but this has then disappeared when I've edited back and forth.

Not having to distribute press releases via mail. Keeping lists updated and reaching people who subscribe.

It's good that there is AI and it's good that you can see which articles have been published after a press release.

We use MND for media monitoring. Then it is inhibiting that we cant read all the media content that the monitoring is catching since we dont have a log in. This was not an issue when we used Retriever.

The search functions add little value, and on certain occasions, the suggested contacts are highly unsuitable ranging from PR agency representatives to government/municipal employees and even irrelevant international contacts that don’t cater to our businesses at all.

Drafting and previewing is my favourite functions. And the editor is really easy to use and the UI is clean and minimalistisk which get's you focused on the content.

I think a good feature would be to be able to choose wether or not an image in a press release should be saved to your new room or not. Images are sometimes used out of context, and does only fit together with the press release.

Prepare, draft and send press releases to many people at the same time. Also, when publishing without sending emails I notice that if you tag your content in a savvy fashion you still get traffic and hits.

Best thing is that it's very trusted by journalists, I believe they have a positive attitude to the platform which is a great start for the work I do as PR officer. Also I think the educational content that Mynewsdesk put out for free is one of the best you can get.

It's on the more expensive side. Also, there are some features that would need to be fixed - one of them is open rate by hour and more strategic insights about the behaviour of the journalists.

**What do you like best about Mynewsdesk?**

The people at MyNewsdesk are quick to respond and often willing to go out of their way to help you out. We recently made the switch back to MyNewsdesk after a short period of re-evaluating our needs, and even in the process of us technically leaving - they were incredibly helpful and wanted to ensure our experience was stellar from start to finish. We couldn't find a better service, and knowing what degree of customer service they could provide - we felt inclined to jump right back when the time was right.

**What do you dislike about Mynewsdesk?**

The degree to which you can customize your public-facing newsroom is a little limited, and I'd like to see more integrations with other commonly used third-party tools for analysis.

**Recommendations to others considering Mynewsdesk:**

Take your time to test out their different products, and don't be afraid to ask for a demo.

**What problems is Mynewsdesk solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We're managing a high number of projects that each require their own little ecosystem, and that's where MyNewsdesk has us covered. Impact on announcement is an important KPI for us - MyNewsdesk offers us a way to track and improve it.

Central location for all our news. The intuitive interface makes it easy for our staff and the media who receive our releases.

We do not use the Facebook integration due to the way the post display. This is probably just due to the way Facebook displays external links.

**What do you like best about Mynewsdesk?**

Ease of use, being able to sort media contacts into easy distribution lists, the CMS by and large and the analytics tools available after. Being able to add our team members as points of contact too is very useful for press we've found

**What do you dislike about Mynewsdesk?**

The CMS is quite limited in terms of formatting, and as such we've sometimes been unable to reflect our clients' releases fully. For example, when there are graphs and tables we need to work around rather than with the CMS. Since the CMS started to require all headers be 16:9, this has proven tricky for some members to work around easily. A simple in-built cropping or resizing tool would be useful.

**What problems is Mynewsdesk solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's still our preferred distribution service for press releases when distributing widely. It makes that simple and it's easy for junior members of the team to learn the ropes.
