I have never really used it for work, but I help and manage and schedule events for an Alumni Association. It is very easy to start out with out of the gate. It is easy to use. Nothing too complicated to learn. Great site!!! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It isn't that easy to link with social media. I have had trouble with it. I don't know if it is because I am using the Free version. They give only a 7 day trial of the paid package, I don't think that is long enough to get to know the site and that you need to upgrade. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I've not found it nearly as beneficial to planning parties, weddings, and special events as far as use in contacting vendors, however for the use of selling tickets or gathering donations for a corporate fundraiser, this site is excellent! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I do use other event planning software as well, but only because this particular site is best suited to for ticketed events and fundraisers--which I do some of.
