I've been seaching for a free text to speech for a quick once off message for my phone system, alerting parents that school is closed due to the cyclone we've just experienced. Murf.ai came up in my Google Search after i'd tried a number of others, including ElevenLabs.

Whilst they were good, I've found Murf.ai to be really easy to navigate, and the voice generation sounds more natural than any of the other services I've tried.

I'll definitely be using this service for more projects, including migrating my ICT Service desk from my Level 1 tech to an AI-based support agent utilising Murf.ai voices.

To be honest, i've not seen anything to really be worried about. The services I've tried have all worked as expected. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Murf studio is easy to use. We are a dental office and we are currently using it to turn our boring on hold music to a marketing pitch set to music to inform our patients of our services. Our next project will be to use it on our website for some patient education videos and marketing videos we would like to post Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Sometimes the voice did sound a little unnatural. I believe I need to upgrade in order to fix that. But I'm not sure if it's worth the upgrade. I wish I could text this a bit to see if the upgraded features were worth the investment for me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I liked that their free trial gave me enough time/credits to evaluate the quality of the voices. The voice generation has done well for the project I am working on. I like that Murf.ai can break the text into sentences so that I can make corrections at that level. The ability to add pauses is nice and they have a good selection of stock music to choose from. Some of the voices will occassionally pronounce words that do not sound natural, but most of the time it does very well. I tried to correct the pronunciation on a couple of words and wasn't able to change it. I compared the pronunciation that Murf.ai uses, including the different options that I can choose from, and none of them matched the pronunciation on the Merriam-Webster website. When I first thought of googling for an AI voice creation for the projects I need a voiceover for, I had no idea if there was a realistic brand out there. This simply has blown me away.
