## Mural Reviews
 ### 1. A Whole new experience

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** William Hernando S. | Docente, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 23, 2022

**What do you like best about Mural?**

These days collaboration between teams is critical. Mural allows for cooperation and an outstanding level of control over designs. It offers a wide variety of templates and a host of tools to customize layouts and create stylish content. It offers a wide variety of templates and a host of tools to customize layouts and create stylish content.

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

Mural Lacks an option in another language. I work with many people who do not speak English, which limits their reach in a market like Latin America.

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mural offers advanced collaborative work options that feel professional and stylish. It has advanced content creation tools that have nothing to envy from other programs on the market.

 ### 2. Mural is A Great Collaboration Space

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Raeesah A. | Business Partner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 25, 2023

**What do you like best about Mural?**

I like that I can work on creative projects quickly with classmates. I'm an architecture major, so collaboration is essential to my work. No bad aspects so far!

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

I don't see any downsides as of yet! Would like the files to be more streamlined perhaps. Some connection to Google would be good too! All in all, good product.

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Problems of real-time collaboration mostly, I don't like having to email files back and forth on time-sensitive projects, so that's helpful. Unexpected feature, and it's free!

 ### 3. The Mural platform is a must-use for our remote hands-on Lean workshops.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Airlines/Aviation | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 08, 2022

**What do you like best about Mural?**

Ability to collaborate effectively and efficiently. Team members like to see what others write for brainstorming sessions without seeing who wrote the idea. Seeing who wrote a brainstorming idea creates a bias and promotes hesitation on creating new ideas.

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

My least favorite is moving objects around on the platform. Some objects are captured when initially moving the objects and/or post-its around.

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are solving how a variety of departments can perform process improvement with Lean and Six Sigma tools and methodology within Mural. It is benefiting our organization by cutting costs for travel & hotel accommodations for onsite meetings that are scheduled for 1 to 2 days. This trims it down to at least 3.5 hours

 ### 4. Mural is my collaboration tool of choice

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jamie B. | Senior Product Director and Product Management Practice Lead, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 24, 2022

**What do you like best about Mural?**

I love how intuitive it is to use. The templates that you have access to are outstanding and the fact that you can easily unlock and edit them to tailor them to your needs makes them even better. I also really like how easy it is to get visitors in and using the tool.

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

Sometimes it can get clogged with a lot of content (it does take a lot, though) and the performance of your board might suffer as a result. It's nothing earthshattering, but it is nice to be able to put tons of content on there

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's helping get quiet folks to participate. It's also wonderful for asynchronous communication - I can create a board, send to the team, and we can start our sessions with some content filled out so we can make the most of the meeting time.

 ### 5. Best digital real time board

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Guglielmo F. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 23, 2023

**What do you like best about Mural?**

I really love how real-time the collaboration is. It feels very smooth and you can actually use this tool to collaborate even if you are in person.
I also really like the section method

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

I think navigating using a mouse is not very fest at times, especially on long boards

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows to bring in ideas from different people in one organize and could based platform

 ### 6. Simple to set up and implement in your organization.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Emilia D. | Founder, Managing Partner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 04, 2023

**What do you like best about Mural?**

Easy to use, collaborative and interesting how you can use it for workshops, brainstorming, sharing ideas, setting goals. In a Zoom world, this is the next best thing to a white board being leveraged in person.

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

It's pretty easy to use and I like the templates. I am getting used to it coming off another platform so hard to say anything I dislike.

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Multiple: Bringing women in our mother's in tech group together to discuss the rocks and pebbles in our lives and for business to collaborate with clients.

 ### 7. Using Murals for flexible and cost-effective collaboration in distributed teams

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christen N. | Software Engineer II, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 16, 2022

**What do you like best about Mural?**

I love Mural for its ease of use and versatility. Its simple user interface makes it intuitive to start, while the robust collection of powerful tools allows me to conduct workshops or engage in meaningful user research like a pro. It's an incredibly budget-friendly option that doesn't skip on value; this is evidenced by features such as being able to quickly add new sticky notes and vote, combined with more extensive options like locking essential items away from public view or setting timers when needed. All these valuable capabilities ensure I'm always able to explore different ideas!

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

Mural has been limited in giving creative freedom; very few design tools are available, and prefabricated layouts look almost identical. Users can only differentiate their projects from one another if more designs are added to the platform. Additionally, it is often hard to uncover elements or make specific corrections or changes within them due to how everything is structured. These issues must be addressed for this service to reach its full potential and offer an enjoyable user experience overall.

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With Mural, we are empowered to use a team-based approach to tackling various challenges, such as developing an operational model, formulating a vision and mood board, mapping out customer or employee journeys, and devising action plans. By leveraging the strength of collaboration between multiple individuals in our organization, these issues can be resolved more expeditiously.

 ### 8. Seamless and User-friendly visual collaboration tool

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bibek M. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 12, 2023

**What do you like best about Mural?**

Mural is one of the best visual collaboration tools in market. We use it for brainstorming, ideation, prioritization or any other visual collaboration needs.

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

When the data on a Mural canvas is exported, the grouping association between shapes and sticky notes are lost. This would be a valuable addition to the tool.

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Brainstorming, Synthesis, Prioritization

 ### 9. The right tool to build collaboration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 04, 2023

**What do you like best about Mural?**

Mural helps to improve team work thanks to the smart visual approach. This tool allow to improve processes review efficiency and helps the team in problem solving.

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

I did not experience any major inconvenience but sometimes the use of the schemes outside the tool is affected by poor resolution.

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mural allows for a better representation of complex projects or processes. The team can have a clear representation of the timeline and responsibilities. Efficiency in problem solving increases thanks to this tool.

 ### 10. User friendly tool with all the necessary capabilities for UXR

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniel N. | UX Research Assistant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 24, 2023

**What do you like best about Mural?**

I like how customizable the components are (e.g. sizing of stickies), but especially I was drawn to Mural because of its ability to search stickies which is very useful for research synthesis purposes.

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

Despite the robustness of its customizations, I wish there were even more options / choices in some cases. For example, the ability to freely resize the frame dimensions for the Grid Area frameworks template.

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mural is helping me conduct synthesis and collaborate with peers during the synthesis / analysis stage while conducting User Research for the Geo Developer team.

 ### 11. Best visual collaboration tool -hands down

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nagendra N. | Co-founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 18, 2022

**What do you like best about Mural?**

Brings together a group of people like never before. Be it ideate, brainstorm or design -all of these are so much more easier now for distributed teams. Why didn't someone think of this before!?

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

Dislike is a strong word - can't say that there is anything I dislike about it - but can certainly suggest small improvements that make life easier. For instance - it would be great to be able to copy an area from one mural to another

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I often have to bring diverse team members or participants together in an ideation or design workshop (sometimes in a classroom environment too) and before Mural, these tended to be low energy and hardly productive. But since I started using Mural - these workshops or classes have been so much more fun and the participants bring a lot of energy.

 ### 12. Highly recommend!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Laura M. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 02, 2023

**What do you like best about Mural?**

Mural is incredibly user friendly. It makes it very easy to collaborate, brainstorm, organize, and more. I've used it with many folks in the same physical room or remotely, and it works great in both cases.

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

Sometimes the number of options or customizations can be overwhelming, or it can be hard to find exactly what you're looking for.

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helping with compiling feedback and theming it, allowing us to understand common threads in feedback across different job functions. This allows us to understand where to focus improvement efforts.

 ### 13. Mural changed how I work with my team, for the better

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Juliana R. | Project Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 13, 2023

**What do you like best about Mural?**

That it helps me keep ideas organized, in a simple and visual way. It improves the way we show our work to external collaborators

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

I can't think of downsides. The only thing I can think of is that there are many templates and It is a lot of work to go through all of them. Also, having mural in spanish would be very useful

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Note taking, prioritazing ideas. Visualizing complex exercises. It mostly helps by making information visual. Yes, when correctly used, we are more productive.

 ### 14. Collaboration.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ankit M. | Software Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 09, 2023

**What do you like best about Mural?**

The UI part which i liked most about it since it was like a fun game for us when we were interacting.

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

Nothing much but i have a feeling that it can be made more user friendly in the beginning but navigating things which are special like we get these days in other new applications.

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mural is making collaboration easy and i used it first in our SAP scholar onboarding, and it was really fun because it was kind of a fun game for us so i will say it will make our next scholar session more fun.

 ### 15. Mural is the best way to organize ideas visually, it's an intuitive tool to co-create projects

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marozia F. | Product developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 27, 2022

**What do you like best about Mural?**

Mural is easy navigate, which is the most important feature when you have a lot of information. It's also great to be able to zoom in closely to edit the content and also zoom out to get an overview of the whole project

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

There is nothing that I dislike, I do think there are some improvements to be done that could make it even better than what it already is. For example, I would like to be able to select other files in my room without having to exit the current mural I'm using, like a window on the left to see a preview of the available ones before selecting them. Also, it would be great to make the download tool easier, I would like to be able to select the areas that I want to export into pdfs and have them in one unique file. I would also like to be able to easily select and then copy past an area with all the content in it, sometimes I select an area, but parts are missing or just the data is pasted and not the area. I would also like a shortcut to change into "move mode".

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I work with many images and I need to see multiple ones at the same moment and with a "traditional" tool it would be impossible because the canvas are usually only standard size. Also, being able to share the Mural and allow others to edit it is great, especially because it avoids having to download different files. This also allows everyone to have the most updated version of the project.

 ### 16. A friendly and professional facilitation tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Consultora E. | Gerente Propietaria, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 13, 2022

**What do you like best about Mural?**

The versatile and friendly nature of the platform. The templates are very user-friendly and very practical.

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

It does not have a Spanish or German version. They should have the platform in Spanish, so that hundreds of facilitators from Latin America can use the platform.

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mural is the tool that allows us to document our facilitation processes, using different facilitation techniques and tools. Its support allows us to have agile and friendly workspaces.

 ### 17. Mural made our consultancy jump

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Laura N. | Consultor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 24, 2022

**What do you like best about Mural?**

fast, simple, easy, template library, i love it

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

We have mentioned from Latin America, the need to have a background library with specific conceptualizations (not templates)

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

all! brainstorming for all, design sprint in training

 ### 18. Best platform to organise and visualise your thoughts!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kaavya R. | Co-Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 11, 2023

**What do you like best about Mural?**

I love that we can use Mural both for ourswlves and as a team! It a wonderful tool with so many useful templates, charts and tools to make all your data visualizable! It has really helped me organise my thoughts!

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

It can take a little while to figure of how each tool works

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It makes it really easy to brainstorm and still make everything visually appealing

 ### 19. My go-to tool for brainstorming and whiteboarding - great Google Drive and Slack integration.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Leah D. | Senior Project Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 06, 2022

**What do you like best about Mural?**

I've been using MURAL for a few months now, and I'm impressed with how well it works. The ability to create virtual whiteboards is, without a doubt MURAL's most helpful feature. This allows me to easily collaborate with my team members regardless of where they are located. I can create boards, add images, and draw diagrams directly on the whiteboard. The integration of MURAL with other tools, such as Slack and Google Drive, makes it even more powerful. I can sync my boards with other tools and collaborate in real-time with my team. This makes it extremely simple to stay connected and share ideas.

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

To improve MURAL, I would suggest making the interface more user-friendly and intuitive. I'd also like to see more design templates and a higher level of customization for the workspace.

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use MURAL at work every day to visualize and organize my ideas. It's a fantastic way for my team and I to brainstorm and collaborate. I can easily share my ideas and receive immediate feedback from others. In addition, I use MURAL to map out project plans, timelines, and tasks so that everyone knows what needs to be done and when.

 ### 20. Intuitive online whiteboard with some great features

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brian K. | Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 19, 2022

**What do you like best about Mural?**

Mural is a fun collaborative online whiteboard. Users are labeled with characters that builds a sense of play, creating a good space for innovating. Most people get the basic details straight away, enabling a fast start up.

It has all the normal whiteboard features (including a limitless space), and an icon range which is fantastic in terms of range and design compatability.

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

My only concerns would be a lack of design features in the arrows and connectors, and further in relation to this would be the lack of easy insertion of descriptor elements in the arrows and connectors. I work a lot in systems theory, and the connections are the critical points.

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Three problems are being solved:
a. Collaboration in a hybrid environment - with some participants online and some live. Everyone has the same space.
b. It has replaced the need for powerpoint (and Prezi).
c. It is a continuous build of thoughts and ideas related to a particular project. It allows for project range appreciation, and a checklist for people to know their ideas have been considered.

 ### 21. Easy to use and enables collaboration across all teams

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ana M. | Global Project Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 29, 2022

**What do you like best about Mural?**

I love the drag and drop functionality of the tool. It is also very intuitive so it takes very little time to get everyone ready to use for a workshop or brainstorming session. Also takes very little time to create a template as there are plenty of examples to build off from.

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

It becomes very hard to read if someone types too much in a sticky note. As well, areas within the Mural board have a tendency to move around, especially if multiple people are working at the same time.

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Has made brainstorming and virtual workshops easier to host. It offers enough features to make it feel like the teams are collaborating in person. I also think it is great to be able to go back to the Mural boards whenever needed to catch things I might have missed during a live session.

 ### 22. As good as a whiteboard - but better!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 29, 2022

**What do you like best about Mural?**

MURAL offers a wide variety of ready-to-use templates for various business topics - personally, I love to use process flowcharts to visualise our processes involving other teams.
You can even add PDFs into your MURAL and edit them from there - I use this feature for our team's internal vacation calendar and make everyone in the team enter their holidays there. Since MURAL is also integrated into Microsoft 365, we integrated our vacation calendar directly into our MS Teams channel.

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

Shared links are way too long - introducing short links should be on MURAL's to do list!

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We wanted to have a vacation calendar for our team, that's easy to use (an equivalent to the printed-out ones, that you hang on the wall) and that's quickly accessible and visible (like one that's hanging in the office). By being able to add PDFs into your MURAL and edit them from there, everyone in the team can enter their holidays there. Since MURAL is also integrated into Microsoft 365, we integrated our vacation calendar directly into our MS Teams channel, where it's visible and everyone can make changes right there.

 ### 23. Mural is a powerful collaboration tool that is easy to use with clients, colleagues and students.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mike S. | Management Strategy Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 13, 2022

**What do you like best about Mural?**

Mural is easy to use across the multiple contexts of our business. Whether collaborating internally or facilitating people from multiple organisations across multiple time zones on complex client projects, Mural brings us all together.
Mural is also an exceptional tool for educators. We use Mural in our Design Thinking masterclass that we deliver to MBA students, Executive education and Corporate Training programmes.

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

Currently, when importing a table of insights where the total text is greater than 140 characters, Mural imports the table as a text box. In order to import each item as a sticky note, I am required to use the Zapier integration, which will then import each data point as an individual 'sticky' note regardless of the character limit. It is a small inconvenience, but I would prefer to be able to import data directly to sticky notes without needing the Zapier integration.

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mural is a major asset in solving distributed and asynchronous collaboration with colleagues, clients, students and anyone we need to collaborate with. Mural allows us to take on work and train students outside our geography and timezone.

 ### 24. Amazing collaborative solution that increases inclusivity and efficiency

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Veronica I. | Member, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 27, 2022

**What do you like best about Mural?**

The most helpful features in MURAL are the facilitator ones. They can make such a difference by ensuring that everybody has a voice and is participating. These features are a game changer, especially in remote or hybrid environments.
Another great benefit is the ability it gives users to work asynchronously. This reduces time in unproductive meetings and allows greater efficiency.

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

There is nothing in particular that I dislike in the solution. Although, I'd like to point out how important it is for any organization that adopts a collaborative intelligence mentality to change to a new way of working must come from the top down. Change management is critical when implementing MURAL successfully and needs support and buy-in from executing leadership.

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

-Inclusivity
-Participation
-Collaboration (async and sync)
-Creativity/Innovation
-More productive work and less time in meetings
-More effective meetings and more transparent communication
-Autonomy/Ownership

 ### 25. Mural Review - AHadi25

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Abdul H. | Product Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 12, 2022

**What do you like best about Mural?**

I believe that the User interface is pretty easy to use. Secondly, I can find most of the templates for my work. Also, the brainstorming phase is mainly done through Mural, I believe that Mural brings in more templates like these in the future frequently.

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

The free version could include up to 5 Murals. I feel three Murals may not be sufficient at times. Also, filters can be available right on the main dashboard section, where you see popular templates. Sometimes, we may not find scrolling for templates a good option due to some time constraints

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a Mural user, the main problem I feel gets solved here is that I can easily make ideas in my mind come to life on a digital board. As a Product Manager, I find various templates useful in my day-to-day work routine, for example, the flowcharts and retrospective templates, primarily when I aim to work on the problem space of my products.

 ### 26. A must-have for team collaboration and cocreation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pablo V. | Lean Startup & Agile Coach, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 14, 2022

**What do you like best about Mural?**

Mural is incredibly easy-to-use. The UX is as intuitive as it gets and it comes with thousands of insightful templates to base workshops on. On top of that, their plans are quite affordable.

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

It's hard to think of any. Perhaps the only thing that isn't as intuitive is that inviting strangers to view and participate the whiteboards on mobile sometimes requires them to download an app.

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Several! I use Mural as part of my work running workshops for corporate clients and business schools. It allows teams to work hands-on from the first minute of the workshop. On top of that, they get to do it in a way in which it's very easy to keep track of what the others are doing. Additionally, lately, I've started using it for creative endeavours and visual brainstorming.

 ### 27. Easy to share and update with secure. It replicates class board

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kande R. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 23, 2023

**What do you like best about Mural?**

More graphical and can be divided section-wise.
Easy to coordinate with team and audience. Dividing between room and tutor can enter to multiple rooms to review

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

Need to understand more about tool. When in offline it should store the data what we entered.

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Easy to coordinate between team members while doing work shop in training.

 ### 28. Mural is my go-to tool for collaborative whiteboarding

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bob S. | P, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 24, 2022

**What do you like best about Mural?**

I love the capability of having others in the board at the same time as yourself and you can pull everyone together and build all different types of diagrams. Personally I love using it for process diagramming.

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

I wish it had more process flow shapes. If they added in BPMN and BPMN 2.0 shapes, that would take this tool to a new level for me.

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mural has been a big help for me in an age of remote work. I used to lead teams through a whiteboard in person, but we all went remote, and I was not happy with the other tools in the market. Mural was a massive find for me.

 ### 29. Great Product. Easy to Use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Whitney F. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 13, 2023

**What do you like best about Mural?**

I love that it is free and easy to learn, use, and collaborate.

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

It takes some learning time to acclimate to all the features.

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Staff characteristics. Work process and flow. Helps us know each other and makes our work clear and more coordinated.

 ### 30. Mural as an alternative for brainstorming in Microsoft working environments

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Glorimar L. | Information Technology Business Analyst, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 14, 2023

**What do you like best about Mural?**

Easy to use and to edit vs. other apps like Whiteboard that are very difficult to make customizations.

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

Maybe that it's not clear how to select a bunch of items; I had to choose one by one to move them around the sheet.

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Space that lets me group my ideas to show them clearer to other colleagues.

 ### 31. Mural Collaboration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stephanie C. | Agile Technical Product Owner Senior, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 16, 2023

**What do you like best about Mural?**

The most valuable items I find with Mural are the templates. The fact I can use Mural for work and personal is terrific.

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

To date, using Mural for some time now, I have no dislikes.

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It provides ideas for getting to know our teammates better at the meetings. Layouts for user journeys and agile ceremonies.

 ### 32. A mural is a versatile tool that can be used for various purposes.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kelly M. | Market Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 19, 2022

**What do you like best about Mural?**

There are several things that I appreciate about MURAL, but chief among them is the fact that it is straightforward to use, even if you have no prior experience with similar programs. As a moderator, Mural offers powerful resources for managing talks and keeping discussions on track. Additionally, facilitators can use the private mode to facilitate discussions of delicate topics. Existing frameworks often need to be revised for brainstorming on many current themes; however, with Mural, I can easily duplicate templates and tweak them as necessary to match the needs of my session. This has saved me a great deal of time in the planning process. Furthermore, I can preserve my modified template for future use."

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

What I don't like about MURAL is that there's an adjustment period before you get used to its quirks. For example, some options, like using Ctrl to select multiple objects simultaneously, can feel strange. Also, it could be better for mind mapping because everything must be created from scratch, and arrows stay in place once they're attached to an object.

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With Mural, it is simple for the entire team to provide input. However, sticky notes can be utilized in various ways to enhance collaboration, for example, by collecting everyone's thoughts in a single location or letting people vote anonymously on their preferred sticky notes.

 ### 33. Super online tool for many life situations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jos L. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 16, 2023

**What do you like best about Mural?**

Online seminars are super structured, interactive, and above all fun with MURAL! Results become visible, which is motivating for everyone.

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

MURAL can indeed become complex. If you're not careful, it's possible to get literally bogged down.

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Structurally bring together complex interconnections and diverse collaboration. Production of visible results from collaborations.

 ### 34. The Digital Canvas That Everyone Needs (Even If They Don't Realize It Yet)!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 19, 2022

**What do you like best about Mural?**

I appreciate how user-friendly and versatile MURAL is because the possibilities of what you can use it for are endless and anyone can learn to use it! There are many customizable features and a plethora of templates available for use with great tutorials, and it is super easy to share with teammates when collaboration is needed. It has also been an incredible resource to have for teleworking since it enables our team to stay connected and join forces on a variety of projects in a visual and engaging way while working from home.

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

There's honestly not much that I can think of that I dislike about MURAL- that's how awesome it is! As with any amazing product, there are always ways to improve features and settings. A few things that come to mind are:
- Including more customizable features and size options for connectors: It's awesome that you can change the color and have three line thickness options, but when you need to create a really large MURAL and need to enlarge everything to improve the visibility of text and such while zoomed out, the difference in the size ratio of shapes and text boxes to the large shapes can make it difficult to see where the process or idea is flowing to.
- Allowing locked shapes and connectors to be duplicated: Enabling the duplicate shape feature to duplicate locked shapes and connectors would be extremely helpful, especially when needing to duplicate complexly-designed sections that include many grouped shapes without shifting anything around when designing a MURAL. It can be a feature that only facilitators can use to avoid visitors accidentally duplicating complex sections during a meeting.
- Enabling users to be able to select specific grouped items to ungroup in complex designs: It'd be a lifesaver to have when needing to edit a grouped shape in a complexly-designed section that includes many grouped shapes. Currently, it's an all-or-nothing feature and you have to completely take apart or pull away entire sections in order to edit a portion to avoid the entire complex section.
- More shape options would be fun as well!

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Coming from someone who is very much a visual learner, MURAL is a total game changer when it comes to visualizing complex ideas and processes and keeping your thoughts organized. I have used MURAL for a variety of things, including but not limited to: To-Do Lists, Standards of Work for Team Meetings, creating Course Outlines and Storyboards for instructional design, and Action Planning and Consensus Workshops using the ToPs Facilitation Methods. It has also been an incredible resource to have for teleworking since it enables our team to stay connected and join forces on a variety of projects in a visual and engaging way while working from home.

 ### 35. Incredibly useful tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Samantha H. | Analyst, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 04, 2022

**What do you like best about Mural?**

MURAL is a necessity for virtual engagement. Our team regularly uses MURAL to facilitate workshops. I love that it allows for non-verbal participation (useful when there are a lot of participants and/or a short amount of time) but can also facilitate discussion through tools such as voting.

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

Creating a MURAL board is often time-intensive. I wish there were more templates to work with/it was easier to work within a grid to create clean layouts. Also, you can't copy tables into MURAL from other programs - you have to manually create tables in the board with individual lines, which is very tedious.

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

MURAL is helping us resolve issues of remote participation in discussions and the need to collect input from many stakeholders at once. Using a MURAL board allows us to have efficient and comprehensive discussions.

 ### 36. MURAL is the best method of teamwork now employed.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Donna L. | Lead Instructor, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 18, 2022

**What do you like best about Mural?**

I appreciate the sizeable digital canvas MURAL provides for virtual whiteboarding during collaboration sessions - both synchronous and asynchronous. This is key for my product design work. MURAL is also very user-friendly compared to similar applications, making it great for brainstorming sessions, defining procedures, and visualizing content (including screens or insights). Non-Design partners also seem comfortable using it with sticky notes and ordered formats - even template-locking features to protect critical information. Plus, since it's web-based, I can easily see who else is working on the same page at any given time, plus how their cursor is located. And multiple individuals can contribute simultaneously to the same file without issue. After using MURAL for over a year, we've found that the records/files of our design thinking sessions, analyses, and audits are still valuable resources.

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

Some people may find the interface confusing or challenging to use, which can be frustrating. Additionally, suppose the physical space where the Mural is being used has yet to be set up to accommodate individuals with different levels of ability. In that case, those users may have a negative experience. In general, Mural is only helpful if you know how to run it and can get others to participate - without these things, it only offers a little value.

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The Mural is designed to obtain real-time collaborative input from people worldwide. Everyone on the team may work simultaneously in the exact location and see the outcomes of their colleagues' efforts in real time, which has proven incredibly valuable.

 ### 37. I couldn't work as effectively without it

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 12, 2023

**What do you like best about Mural?**

I love that it's very easy to use and people who have never used it can get up and running in no time, making it possible to run collaborative remote workshops with any type of customer.

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

It would be nice to have a video call feature so I could see my colleagues in the same screen I'm working on. I don't like it when objects move around or get stuck, the locking function could be smoother.

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can unleash my creativity, create my own frameworks, collaborate with my colleagues in a very effective way. We all work remotely and even when we meet f2f we use Mural, it's really changed the range of our thinking possibilities.

 ### 38. Great tool to present the idea in the better way

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sachin G. | Sr. QA, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 28, 2022

**What do you like best about Mural?**

1: I and my team use Mural almost every day, this tool is awesome to explain the business logic and any team activity
2: Easy to choose different colors sticky
3: Easy to copy the templates and share with team members
4: Can take team opinions for any specific task via voting 🗳 with timers ⏱

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

There should be some locking things/undo/re-set options so that objects should not move accidentally, I moved objects wrong place a couple of times by mistake which caused a mess up in the mural board

Nothing much to say about the -ve side, as I like this tool, thanks to all the developers and mural team who developed this awesome tool 😊

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

1: Mural helps note down all the ideas during the discussion
2: Helps to get the team feedback during grooming meetings
3: Brainstorming sessions
4: Collaborate with teammates
5: Organize the meeting stuff in a great manner

 ### 39. Whiteboard for brainstorming and resolving business problems togather.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ryan B. | Sales Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 16, 2022

**What do you like best about Mural?**

Team members can use MURAL to stay in touch and work collaboratively to stay on track. MURAL has an easy-to-use interface and comes with some pre-made templates to help users get started quickly in creating the right format for their content. The whiteboard is essential for collaborative sessions and group brainstorming. It's a lot of fun to incorporate emojis, styles, and colors into a workflow chart or a group's collective thoughts on a subject for external sharing. For ease of distribution, the output can be exported as a picture or a PDF.

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

There is nothing I dislike about MURAL; it is like a pen and paper that facilitates communication and teamwork in any situation.

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

MURAL has allowed us to keep open, unscheduled meetings while ensuring that all team members participate. The use of brainstorming techniques assisted us in gathering concepts and organizing them in a novel manner, which aided in our ability to recognize issues and come up with workable solutions.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Inna Y. | Business Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 22, 2023

**What do you like best about Mural?**

Templates and design possibilities. It is also rather intuitive and have nice demos.

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

Limited possibilities within shapes and connectors section. Also no possibility to use different fonts within sticky note text if you want to highlight some words.

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Letting stakeholders easily understand complex concepts; share ideas and thoughts effectively.

 ### 42. Its very easy to work with and visually apealing

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Clara M. | Chief Entrepreneur Officer as a service | Fractional Key Accounts & Business Development Director , Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 11, 2023

**What do you like best about Mural?**

It is a visual tool but with a bit of structure, ideal for more sophisticated businesses.

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

I do not have anything that I dislike...

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me to present strategies and planning in a more visual and easy-to-understand way and at the same time is very practical and quick to get my ideas structured.

 ### 43. It makes the online workshop so much more engaging.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jorge M. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 03, 2023

**What do you like best about Mural?**

It's very versatile, has a lot of options, and covers most aspects of a face-to-face workshop.

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

Sometimes it is very complex to edit when it's a big mural.

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves the need for conducting workshops that can be done in person.

 ### 44. An outstanding resource for group work

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kathryn (Kate) F. | Product Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 11, 2022

**What do you like best about Mural?**

MURAL is a collaborative wall serving as a virtual flipchart or whiteboard. It's our preferred location for teamwork; working remotely has been difficult because we miss our regular workstation and equipment. There's no way to recreate these circumstances in a virtual meeting program such as Zoom, but Mural has created a digital platform for collaborative work that is nevertheless tactile. Accessing the forum doesn't require registration or account setup, which is an additional advantage.

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

I would prefer MURAL's export capabilities. The quality of the exported images could be better and sometimes better, which makes it easier to know how an image will turn out after it has been shipped. Additionally, we have encountered functionality issues across a variety of online browsers as well as with tablet users of mobile apps. These issues have caused several of our customer processes to slow down, which causes frustration and wasted time.

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The Mural needs a way to differentiate between guests and employees. There is also no way to charge per "seat" at an event, a problem for companies with numerous consumers and employees.

 ### 45. It is a very comprehensive tool.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Robinson S. | Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 06, 2022

**What do you like best about Mural?**

Being able to graph the information and processes we work on with our clients, so that it is easier to understand

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

I had already mentioned it in another survey, and it's that when using the tool on a 13-inch laptop, the long texts written within the post-its cannot be read clearly. On the other hand, the comments placed next to the post-its move when the background or structure on which they are placed is moved... the same happens with some arrows even if they are anchored to the points of the post-its. I think you should develop the platform in Spanish as well.

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to graph the information and processes we work on with our clients, so that it is easier to understand, collaboratively and in real-time

 ### 46. The most structured tool so participants don't get lost

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Arie P. | Digital Advisor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 26, 2022

**What do you like best about Mural?**

Mural is the best tool for creating structured design thinking sessions. The outline capability provides users with a very easy way to follow activities across the session.
In this virtual world, you need to rely on intuitive tools where users don't feel intimidated. Instead, they find an easy way to participate and collaborate with others.
Mural is great for participants and also very easy to use as a facilitator.

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

Nothing at the moment, it would be nice to have the possibility to categorize each sticky note with criteria defined by the facilitator

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mural makes me more productive by providing me a tool where I can easily design my session, invite others, collaborate, discuss and export the result of the session

 ### 47. The Mural is one of the best UI/UX design resources available.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mina R. | Shared Services Lead, Global Shared Services, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 10, 2022

**What do you like best about Mural?**

With Mural, we have a tool that offers many advantages as a giant whiteboard does in physical environments. What I like best about MURAL is the ability for numerous people to collaborate in real-time throughout a session. The voting and anonymous filter function provide a safe space for individuals to express their opinions without fear of retaliation and choose the most relevant issues. Template investigating is one of my favorite features.

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

What I don't like about MURAL is that, at one time, our team members needed help figuring out how to make changes to text. The data was being kept secure from unauthorized access by security measures, but we were still trying to understand the situation at the time. It would have been much more helpful if there had been a message saying that I couldn't access the content no matter where I clicked.

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The MURAL is being used as a tool for creative problem-solving to resolve complex, intractable business issues. As a result of this innovative technology, meeting attendees are no longer required to observe in silence.

 ### 48. Great experience for team collabration

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jennifer W. | project manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 10, 2022

**What do you like best about Mural?**

Easy and institutive UI for team collaboration. Great performance. We used a lot for the team retrospective and team brainstorming activities. Teams also found this tool quite helpful.

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

Looking forward to more language support in Mural. Want to introduce this to my friends in China and let them enjoy this excellent tool. Also want to have more login option like mobile phone login. Also the mobile app is not working with China telecom provider.

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We used Mural a lot for the team retrospective activity, and the template can help the team start the discussion immediately. Also team liked the voting feature within Mural for the team collaboration. Excellent performance for team collaboration.

 ### 49. Mural is great to collaborate in teams!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adriana G. | Marketing generalist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 05, 2023

**What do you like best about Mural?**

I love being able to have anyone from the team working at the same time on anything from planning, creating, mocking projects, and more!
I love how we can use a lot of tools to make everything more visual/.

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

I really like how Mural is right now, but sometimes I want to be able to modify the templates they have to my convenience and the templates I tried are hard to modify, I have to start from scratch for most of them.

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mural is helping us to work in teams remotely, and it really facilitates having all kinds of projects in the same place, available for everyone involved, letting them edit and update when necessary.

 ### 50. Most versatile, visually appealing digital whiteboard & collaboration tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bee H. | Co-founder & Managing Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 14, 2022

**What do you like best about Mural?**

Easy to invite guests to workspaces so they can contribute their ideas during a workshop session. Super easy for guests to access and use.

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

Sometimes relative sizing of text and drawings on a Mural are tricky to judge. But you can easily zoom in and out to resolve this. A recommended 'starting size' might be useful.

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Maintaining engagement of all participants during remote workshops and being able to capture everyone's ideas and input. It's also a fantastic way of being able to play back these ideas to the whole group – they can see their ideas have been captured and not lost. Particularly useful the larger the group size is.
