## Mural Reviews
  ### 1. Using Mural for strategy and creativity.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** James G. | Management Consultant, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 31, 2023

**What do you like best about Mural?**

Mural is remarkably helpful in creating the opportunity for collaboration and sharing. In today's distributed work environment, developing a shared space is vital for problem solving and creative exploration. I am frequently delighted by the broad range of available templates and also by the speed with which users can adapt to Mural. It's most intuitive and flexible.

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

I've not found anything to dislike ... I suppose that I could appreciate a more sophisticated system of organizing files (Murals), into 'buckets' or assigning keywords; the file system is quite adequate for my present needs. Integration with Sharepoint?

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mural helps me bring focus to conversations and ongoing dynamics. It helps maintain an ongoing record and "progress" report ... allowing teams to effectively work together despite the passing of time between meetings. I am using Mural for strategy conversations, SWOT analysis and general planning. I even use it for my daily calendar!

  ### 2. Great collaboration tool and templates

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 14, 2023

**What do you like best about Mural?**

Whether remote or in-seat, Mural is a great collaboration tool. Everything from ice-breakers to getting down to business with brainstorming and planning. It is fun, low-stakes, and aids our productivity. I find that participants respond well to the variety, spacing, and even being colorful!

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

There is a learning curve and I take that on myself. I'm less likely to view tutorials and only look at help files if I am stuck. I'm sure I can use it more extensively than I do, and will need to spend some time learning what's possible.

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It increases engagement from participants. It's real-time collaboration so we can see results and responses immediately. When used asynchronously, it serves a similar purpose. I see more engagement, more evidence that participants are viewing the work of others, and you see the product as it comes together. It is also a helpful running record of the discussion or activity.

  ### 3. Mural wherever I go

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** (김태영) T. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 22, 2023

**What do you like best about Mural?**

Mural is best in capturing ideas (from one or many) through a non-rigid structure allowing for more out of box thinking.
Also democratizes sharing of ideas forcing/encouraging folks who don't speak up to have a voice through their post it contributions.
Allows for asynchronous collaboration which helps to jot down ideas whenever and still be able to share with the group.

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

As a facilitator in order to be able to easily track who contributes what, everyone needs a paid account. Guest passes allow folks to join anonymously thus making it difficult to identify.

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Increases collaboration. Benefits me by allowing us to get to better ideas and alignment on those ideas faster.
Its also easier to keep track of conversations and share results.

  ### 4. User-friendly and engaging for online teaching

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** John Wayne d. | Research Assistant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 23, 2023

**What do you like best about Mural?**

Very easy to teach/show others how to use it, as such, using it for collaborative online tasks allows students to jump into the activity with very little learning time. Just share the link, and you're good to go! :)

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

Logging into the application is sometimes somewhat complicated for me, just because there are multiple ways to log in? Not sure, but maybe can be streamlined. But aside from that, it's so very easy and hassle-free to use. Oh also, what's the difference between visitor and guests? I sometimes get confused about which link to send to people I want to collaborate with etc.

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a teacher in online environments, Mural allows me to conduct activities online in small groups that would've required using pen and paper in person. This allows students especially in my graduate course to do things more visually and collaboratively to expand on and take a break from oral discussions, which can get monotonous real quick.

  ### 5. Great tool for collaboration and vision

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Banking | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 20, 2023

**What do you like best about Mural?**

Ease of use and powerful tool for brainstorming, collaborating and confirming a vision.

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

The pricing structure could be more feasible

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Expectation alignment and agreement

  ### 6. Great online collaboration tool; amazing training and example use-cases

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Government Administration | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 18, 2023

**What do you like best about Mural?**

The example murals and videos showing the Mural team using murals are incredibly helpful.

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

Some colleagues who attend my sessions do not take the time to learn the basics and then complain are not able to participate fully. It would be great to have some VERY short intro videos that demonstrate Mural basics. As great as the interface is, every time I go to create a new Mural I realize there are still so many things I don't know how to do, even though I have taken the intro trainings and watched several training videos. I'm not sure there is a fix for that, but there is definitely a learning curve to become fluent with the interface.

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am tasked with doing planning for a very large organization that I am new to. Mural is helping me structure collaborative online sessions to learn about the organization and harness the knowledge of my colleagues to create plans to solve the barriers they are encountering in their work.

  ### 7. Collaboration with Students and Faculty

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** James K. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 30, 2023

**What do you like best about Mural?**

Cloud-based with live updates. All the team members can access the cloud share, strong in file management.

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

Visual design, colour tone, and typography.

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Projects workload, development, and progress can share with the team members, students, or clients.

  ### 8. Very intuitive website for brainstorming sessions.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Quentin L. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 08, 2023

**What do you like best about Mural?**

- How easy it is to create a mural space and organize it as you wish.
- How easy it is to share it among team members with different access rights.
- The free version covers all of our needs for now ( less than people in a start-up environment)

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

- There are no real start-up programs meaning that if we want to opt-in for the paid version at one point, it might be too expensive for our small company.
- There should be a way to make a template instead of copying old mural and archiving them afterward.

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We can organize work on a monthly basis and open up discussions about the tasks, their priority and how to handle them.
We use it to brainstorm and plan for any development we might have.

  ### 9. Mural is a key piece of our Agile planning

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tucker P. | Vice President | Senior Scrum Master, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 06, 2023

**What do you like best about Mural?**

Mural makes it easy to organize our work for Quarterly Planning within a board or multiple boards. We use the tool to plan our stories at a high level and then lay out a sprint plan for the upcoming quarter. The tool is user friendly and easy to teach others to use so that we can have our entire team engaged.

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

I wouldn't say there are a lot of downsides to the tool. The integration with Jira is good but could use some improvement. There is some manual work from what we create to getting that information into Jira, Confluence, etc. but overall the pros still far outweigh the negatives.

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows us to plan as a team and have many if not all, parties involved in the process. It takes away or reduces the need to have a scribe in planning sessions. Everyone can jump into the board and be an active participant which again is very helpful and ensure everyone has a voice in the process.

  ### 10. Virtual work would be more work without Mural

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Myke I. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 10, 2023

**What do you like best about Mural?**

The collaborative aspects of Mural are just the beginning. Where impoact is really made and it all comes together is once the meeting is over and the journey is documented and available to share, download, and recreate for another day. Saving time, jogging memories and duplicating the flow.

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

I want to be more critical, but I've got nothing at this time. Spend some time working with Mural yourself and see. There is a slight "learning curve," but you'll forget all about that once you're facilitating, co-creating, and collaborating.

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The trouble with in-person whiteboards has always been the fact that they need to be erased to be reused. We've all taken glossy photos of marked-up whiteboards, with the best of intentions to review the material again later. Mural provides the solution to this problem and so many more solutions as well.

  ### 11. Definitely the best and easiest tool to share, collaborate, and desing online with other people

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Angelo Andrea S. | INNOVATION DESIGNER & DEPLOYER │ INDEPENDENT CONSULTANT │ BUSINESS COACH, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 05, 2023

**What do you like best about Mural?**

A lot of things:
1) Visitor access for participants (fast, easy and respectful)
2) Extremely easy usability and time-to-start using
3) Colourful, attractive, a lot of features and tools
4) Step by step growth of collaborative work
5) Asynchronous use
6) Beautiful downloading of final result high-res PNG or PDF
7) A lot of samples and starting formats
8) Frequent upgrading

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

Absolutely nothing! I can't dream any better

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Rich interaction (with intuitive operation) among people geographally dispersed.
Syncrounous and Asyncronous interaction facilitatin step by step interaction growth

  ### 12. Mural helps me be a better strategist

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anna R. | PR Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 06, 2023

**What do you like best about Mural?**

I like how it helps me to visually organize and communicate ideas, gather feedback, and track progress. Mural provides a range of tools for ideation, mapping, and collaboration, such as sticky notes, mind maps, flowcharts, and more. I can share information with my team members, brainstorm and see the full picture together.

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

Some tools are not as intuitive as I would like them to be when it comes to editing the size of the sticky notes, or building connections between them and etc.

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a PR professional, using Mural has allowed me to gain a better understanding of my strategies and their objectives and goals. It enables me to visualize the interconnectedness of projects and see how one influences another. It is a great resource for remote teams as well.

  ### 13. Improve productivity through online visual collaboration with walls

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Diana C. | Marketing Specialist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 05, 2023

**What do you like best about Mural?**

I appreciate MURAL for its ability to replicate the experience of traditional whiteboards or flipcharts. This platform allows my team to replace some of our usual collaboration tools and foster a sense of true teamwork even when working remotely - something that would not be possible with video calls alone. I also like that participation does not require registration or an account to join the forum; users have free access whenever they need it.

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

I do not like that MURAL has such a limited workspace compared to other programs like Miro. It is difficult to create multiple boards, workspaces and tabs in the available space, which makes projects feel cramped.

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I benefit from Mural because it helps me collaborate with my team remotely in real time, so I don't have to worry about complicated technical knowledge.

  ### 14. Made gathering and organizing information much quicker

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nicolo' C. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 08, 2023

**What do you like best about Mural?**

the possibility to work live with colleagues and clients in defining designs and sharing information, this made it much easier to converge on a common vision for the development and, as a consequence, a much faster delivery

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

there are some formatting limitations, some of which got addressed in the latest update that made it difficult somethimes to organize ideas as intended. I would like to see additions such as more block designs options and connection with more ancor points (somethimes moving blocks overlays arrows)

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

mural solved the need to reiterate information retrieval meetings and build a shared information model that allows different teams to start building the right solution quickly

  ### 15. MURAL good collaborative tool

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sandra M. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 18, 2023

**What do you like best about Mural?**

It is flexible, you can create multiple boards for coaching, mentoring, and international certification. It has base templates to reduce the creation time of dynamics for multidisciplinary teams. It can be viewed in any browser.

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

When you have a board with several canvases, by locking them, they get locked and the post-its are placed behind, preventing proper work in the classes.

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having a flexible tool where unlimited boards can be created and are accessible to all the people we work with in consulting and training.

  ### 16. Virtual meetings are far more effective

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lance A. | Software Engineering Manger, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 15, 2022

**What do you like best about Mural?**

Mural creates an interactive space where people don't have to talk over each other in virtual meetings to say something. It increases engagement and participation dramatically compared to meetings that we don't run with Mural.

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

It takes a lot longer to prepare for a Mural meeting than it does to prepare for a meeting where we don't use Mural. I also don't love the changes that were made that now require users to be contributors in a workspace in order to contribute to a Mural. It was really nice to be able to just pass someone a link and have them enter as a visitor and add thoughts or comments.

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mural helps us increase engagement during important meetings. We need contributions from everyone, and that can be difficult to get in bigger virtual meetings. Mural provides a safe place where people can contribute their ideas at their pace without feeling like they have to get up and speak in front of everyone. Mural also creates a history of the meeting that is far more rich and digestible than traditional meeting notes or summaries.

  ### 17. Best collaboration platform for your hybrid meetings

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 15, 2022

**What do you like best about Mural?**

The free-flowing canvas where you can draw and write with ease. The canvas can be zoomed in and out seamlessly by each user at their convenience. The anonymous mode is fabulous too. It's beneficial when you want to substitute the experience of an in-person session with remote audiences. The free-flowing canvas where you can draw and write with ease. Never faced any issues, even with a large number of participants. The export option comes real handy when you have to document your discussions.

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

Sometimes the loading time is a bit high. Most of the functionalities I am looking for are available on the platform. Improving the time taken for SSO logins could be one improvement. Zoom could be a bit smoother, considering that not everyone uses a touch screen. There could be a 'world map' feature that can help you create diagrams that involve geographies. There could be more themes to suit different people, and occasions could also be excellent. Support for project planning could be a great addition.

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helps collaboration in a hybrid environment. I'm benefitting from it since, at work, we get into a lot of whiteboarding sessions, and most team members are remote. Helps collaboration in a hybrid environment. A perfect tool to conduct retros when you have to get opinions from many people and rank them. Also handy when you want to start working on an idea and invite other members to collaborate.

  ### 18. It's an excellent collaboration tool that helps me have creative and effective conversations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Digendra S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 28, 2023

**What do you like best about Mural?**

Fast, real-time collaboration
Quick to set up and easy to use
Whiteboards support many file types
Varied collection of templates
, some of its closest competitors offer more than just a virtual whiteboard space and have special differentiating features

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

Doesn’t let you create interactive charts, reports, or tables
No support for video calls
Slightly pricier than closest competitors
Rooms should allow to sort murals in alphabetical order and to have a simple list visualization. Also names should not be cut like they are now (the only way to see the full name is via the tooltip) 2. Rooms and archive in my opinion are not enough to organize murals. It would be way better to have rooms and then the possibility to organize murals in folders inside a room. 3. It should be much easier to change the room/mural permissions. We often have sessions with dozens of people but only a few of them should have the possibility to edit. At the moment there is no bulk way to change the view only/edit permission 4. Grouping elements inside a mural should be enhanced. At the moment you cannot have a group of groups and that makes it harder to keep a logical architecture of the elements in a mural 5. At the moment there is no specific feature to create schemes or diagrams. We really would love that. 6. It would be much easier sometimes to have the possibility to specify the object size manually. 7. Content library needs to be improved to be really useful. Elements needs folders for a better organization

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's amazing for facilitating remote meetings and enabling equal participation between people all over the world.

As a user I use Mural daily to run co-design workshop with dozens of people. The simplicity of the tool makes it easy to understand and use even for people that are not much into technology. A couple of features I particularly appreciate are the content library (even though should be improved) and the possibility to multiple templates from different companies. Also che call feature looks interesting even though I never used it so far

  ### 19. I used to always 'think out loud' on whiteboards, but now I only do that in Mural!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stephanie G. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 28, 2023

**What do you like best about Mural?**

Everything. Since before the pandemic, I've been using Mural to digitize our whiteboard/sticky note activities. When we went fully remote, it was a simple and smooth transition to collaborating on the boards from the start in virtual meetings.

My most used feature is the sticky notes, which I've used for everything from large cross-functional co-creation workshops, affinity diagraming, and retros to individual ideation on organizing my team for maximum impact. Most recently, Mural has become my go-to place for managing strategic projects, planning roadmaps, and sharing content with others across our entire company.

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

A couple of things that would make Mural more effective as a holistic place to develop ideas, synthesis research, and manage project assets:

Better tables - not like full excel functionality or even functions, just easily editable table layouts and structure to manage data sets or detailed plans

More flexible frameworks - I'm often building out activities or content structure at the last minute. While the existing frameworks rarely meet my complete needs, they're great starting points and would save me a lot of time if I could edit and expand upon them rather than start from scratch.

Item alignment: improvements could include better freehand alignment to items in direct proximity utilizing a snap-to-grid or introducing guides to the board. As a designer, perfect alignment is a necessity (no matter how much I try not to care about it). Going back to align items, with the provided tools, after creating them can be tedious and time-consuming.

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Design team and cross-functional collaboration & alignment on all parts of the product development process
Personal brainstorming and iterating on team strategy, organization, and roadmap
Raw data capture & synthesis for research, meeting notes, and any other data capture

  ### 20. A superb collaboration tool

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lani B. | Innovator, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 03, 2021

**What do you like best about Mural?**

I really value the opportunity to enable people to easily share and collaborate by visualising thinking and enabling a wide variety of people to share their views and gain consensus

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

Mind mapping could be made easier and being able to grab multiple templates and them into one mural

**Recommendations to others considering Mural:**

Prepare your Mural and do a walk-through with someone else ahead of the session
At the start of the session do something that enables attendees to get used to Mural - e.g. navigate using the outline, create a post-it note, search for an icon, draw something etc.
Celebrate when they achieve something

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Using this tool can make it easier and more engaging than in-person sessions. Mural is so versatile, as it allows you to visualise, discuss, collaborate and engage. You can use this tool to present as well and that can make things more engaging for the audience. People can share can draw something to help people understand. The key benefits are that the audience gets to be present and fully engage. Using this tool is more fun for the facilitator as well.

  ### 21. Mural has transformed the way I work

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michelle B. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2023

**What do you like best about Mural?**

What I appreciate most is how simple it is to hold visual, collaborative meetings and the many available templates. I have found it much easier to use than other collaborative tools.

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

I would love to have more meeting icebreaker templates available, or know where to find more if they already exist.

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Collaboratively brainstorming in a remote environment, prioritizing, managing tasks, and prototyping processes. Mural makes all of this more productive, and we use it with our clients to help them design solutions to challenging issues.

  ### 22. G2 Review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gretchen L. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 23, 2023

**What do you like best about Mural?**

the transparency and ability to add multiple publishing design functions and file documenting applications/attachments, the ability to save and go on for infinity is incredible!

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

The downside is the inability to present a formal document or process as a flip book for others, this leads to having mural as brainstorming / white board tool versus a formal resource to save on company website

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mural has allowed me to map out my personal projects, my strategies, and my process flows. The additional benefit is white board the continuous improvement huddle board for all-in staff meetings. Huge transparency and collaboration options!

  ### 23. Fantastic collaboration and information tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Research | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2023

**What do you like best about Mural?**

It's fantastic for collaboration and collating information as a 'single source of truth' that multiple team members can use. I especially like the 'infinite canvas' feature - being able to include an unlimited amount of content in one 'source' and then being able to zoom into the details is so useful.

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

It can take time for first-time users to get used to Mural, which makes it less suited to time-pressed collaboration sessions with first-time users or those less comfortable with tech. However, it's pretty intuitive once you get used to it!

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Collaboration is the main area where I use Mural and it has been invaluable, especially with the increase in hybrid working and virtual meetings and workshops.

  ### 24. Best Whiteboarding Tool Ever!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 03, 2023

**What do you like best about Mural?**

It's the best whiteboarding tool period. I have used it from brainstorming sessions, to restospective meetings, to day to day task management. I love the predefined templates and the ability to pick from them right of the bat.

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

I'd say the free version needs to allow more than 3 boards. Other than that, absolutely no complaints.

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

1. Designing
2. Ideation
3. Mind Mapping
4. User Journey Mapping
5. User Persona Mapping
6. Whiteboarding
7. Brainstorming Workshops and Sessions
8. Fun games and activities

  ### 25. Great way to visualize a plan, roadmap or project

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cassie D. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 05, 2023

**What do you like best about Mural?**

Love how easy it is to drag and drop visual elements and add text. Doesn't require any technical skills to make a good looking design.

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

My least favorite element is that if you clone an element and the same style of element is nearby, it overwrites instead of creating a new one.

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps layout a timeline and/or process in a way that is easy for non-technical people to interpret and amend, as needed.

  ### 26. Mural review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Abril G. | SR UX RESEARCHER, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 17, 2023

**What do you like best about Mural?**

I like Mural. The mural is my tool to analyze my research. And now with the Figma functionality that you just added I feel that I can do everything with less effort and faster

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

Sometimes when I'm moving with my mouse the post it or elements, there's like an error or something that doesn't let me continue working and I need to refresh the page. This is happening to me when I spend to many hours there.

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Is my tool for analyzing data. I can use it to create affinity mappings, user personas, user journeys. I love this tool. Is essential for my job. And I can collaborate with other people.

  ### 27. Great ideation and collaboration platform

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ryan B. | Physical Security Lead, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 18, 2023

**What do you like best about Mural?**

It has easy to use features to foster collaboration. My team has used it extensively in strategy planning to ensure everyone has an opportunity to contribute when the 'mic' may be occupied using other formats.

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

Occasionally there is some 'sensitivity' when moving items around during large collab sessions but that is a minor issue.

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It fosters wonderful collaboration. We've seen heightened engagement across teams during larger sessions that other formats (large calls with decks being presented) don't really offer.

  ### 28. Best tool for discussions!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sukesh S. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 24, 2023

**What do you like best about Mural?**

I have been using Mural for a while, and from my experience, this is the best tool to have during discussions. I love the intuitive UI that Mural has. A must-recommend tool for every team discussion. The templates provided are fantastic.

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

I don't have anything that I could dislike about Mural. I have one concern: it was a bit difficult to start with Mural, so maybe the development team could focus on this.

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Previously for offline collaboration I was using sticky notes, collaborating on Mural does give the same feeling.

  ### 29. Mural has become indipensible member of our projects.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ece T. | People, Change and Culture Consultant, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 21, 2022

**What do you like best about Mural?**

We can easily carry our workshop designs on Mural. We can see our ws logic visually as we could run the workshop. Unlike ppt we can put all critical questions and our way of facilitation or tips on flow. It helps us to gain much time both when designing and running workshops. We also free ourselves to write down all the flipcharts and post-its after the workshops. Moreover, all clients and individual participants love this app. and enjoy it while working.

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

In terms of design, I can compare the user-friendliness of Mural with other tools. I sometimes struggle with selecting/deselecting objects (if you locked the frame, it's possible select the frame when you're trying to select some pieces in it) and sending back/forward objects etc. But, in the end, I like working via Mural!

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's a great collaboration tool, first of all. When working with virtual teams, geographically spread groups, and having little time to get feedback or get together, Mural makes our lives easier.

  ### 30. A simple visual tool that has a great impact on virtual collaboration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chris H. | Associate Principal, Senior Mechanical Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 18, 2022

**What do you like best about Mural?**

I like how quickly the tool can be used to make a down-and-dirty message board to get all your ideas "on paper" or how neat and precise it can be to arrange information and use it in a professional presentation.

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

One minor complaint is that once you pick the shape of a sticky, for example, you choose a square first, and then you actually want a rectangle because it will look better with the text inside the box, you can't just stretch it out into a rectangle. Maybe there is a quick way to change that, but I haven't found it yet.

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mural helps to solve the issues of communicating timelines of information or next steps and helps to easily connect the dots between the tasks, people that need to do the work, etc. With an infinite view, I can expand the mural as large as I need when more information is added. It is an easy way for multiple people to all contribute at the same time too.

  ### 31. Unlocking the power of collaboration through platforms

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Grant E. | Financial Operations Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 01, 2023

**What do you like best about Mural?**

I love how Mural uses colour coding and data segmentation to make recruitment tracking so much easier. It's really easy for multiple users to work together simultaneously, which is why it became my favourite feature immediately upon joining my current role. The intuitive nature of its features has allowed me to get up to speed with Mural quickly after starting work here this week! Also, using the CTRL key makes it easy to move files around your desktop - an added bonus! There are also various icons, such as exclamation points or warning signs, that you can use to draw attention to certain areas of your Mural; another great benefit that is not easily found elsewhere. Last but not least: I love having complete control over the size of shapes and labels when creating a mural - this gives each project created a unique touch and more freedom than ever before when creating something meaningful from raw information & ideas.

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

I love the convenience of having Mural as a remote whiteboard, allowing me to bring aspects of my office board that I have long wanted. It is an amazing asset for us to hold meetings in our own offices and intuitively explain complex schedules before finalising plans together. Unfortunately, it doesn't offer nearly as many design options as some of the alternatives out there.

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am able to quickly absorb and understand complex topics by providing a clear graphical representation of the content being presented in an organised fashion. This has saved me time when collaborating on projects with others as I can process information more quickly and efficiently.

  ### 32. Whiteboard Anywhere

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anton H. | Software Engineering Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 16, 2022

**What do you like best about Mural?**

Having recently joined a new role, I was directed to MURAL by a colleague. It has enabled me to quickly get up to speed in a fast-paced environment, where detail and organisation matters. I'm able to map out organisational groups, business processes, and product workflows, easily and reliably, and extend into on-the-fly planning in solo and joint workshops.

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

There are no real downsides to using MURAL, everything has been considered. I don't always find navigation easy, but that is mostly down to whichever laptop or tablet device I'm using. I have occasionally opened other people's MURALs and started moving things around, and having to 'undo' these actions.

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being new to the organisation, I've used MURAL for easily mapping out what teams look like, what the business processes look like, and more recently, using MURAL to build RACIs and show individual, and group responsibilities around various workflows. I've also used other people's MURALs as a reference point during product calls, and been able to follow and add value to detailed conversation, which would have been more difficult, without being able to open the product views at that point in time.

  ### 33. mural is user friendly, and useful for coworking

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Erina Damayanti L. | claim medical officer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 17, 2022

**What do you like best about Mural?**

we can share files, and mural can be used for gathering games etc. but id prefer if the calendar option can be connected to like google calendar etc, so that the using of the feature is integrated to the reminder etc.

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

not integrated to like table spreadsheet usage, and calendar, and drives. so that whatever is there in mural we need to re write somewhere else. cannot sync data through mural. if its only for like drawing, maybe the usage of mural is more not for serious bussines. but more entertaining, like drawing together. a short listed reminder. etc.

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

so far... to be honest i do not use mural a lot. we just playing with Mural without using it for important purpose. maybe use the calendar to mark on some dates. but again, it doesnt sync with our phone calendar so..no reminder for the event. so thats not practical

  ### 34. Do more, do better

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** PABLO O. | Quality Management Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 14, 2022

**What do you like best about Mural?**

Teams Working gets better with Mural because you can share and see others' work in progress, presented online, graphically and easy to understand. I think most agile techniques can be applied. You can review and change your work whenever, wherever you want. It is fantastic.

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

I used to do my work on a laptop. Sometimes it gets complicated when you need to precisely place, modify or edit components using the mousepad. I had to use the usb mouse to do it. Mural should have shortcuts for repetitive actions like using the same sticky note in my group or the typical set of tools I used to use.
The rest of Mural is ok for me!

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mural is providing a platform for collaborative work that we use mainly for agile design techniques but we have found a lot of uses as the Business Canvas. I consider this is very important as a graphical representation and record of teams' work

  ### 35. Way better than a traditional PowerPoint Presentation

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 04, 2023

**What do you like best about Mural?**

The best thing about Mural is how easy it is to use and the outline feature, which allows people to follow along during the presentation. The comprehensive open layout makes it easy to zoom in on important material and present it.

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

One thing that could be improved with Mural is adding text boxes and outline areas. Some of the design aspects on the left-hand side bar are not intuitive. It was a lot of clicking around to determine what each section did.

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mural is solving the now-dated "just another PowerPoint" problem. In my academic area slide presentations are becoming dated and don't add to student learning and comprehension as there is no active participation component. Mural is active!

  ### 36. WWW: World Wide Whiteboard - and other stuff too!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Craig G. | Fundraising Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 17, 2023

**What do you like best about Mural?**

You can bring in anyone to work on a MURAL board, regardless of their connection to your organsiation.

It's intuitive right from the get-go, so you can hear from your whole team, not just those already adept with the tool.

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

Last time I needed it, there was still some work to be done, IMHO, on the file/folder search mechanics. But nothing at deal-breaker level. Just could be a tad more agile.

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Remote (and in person) white boarding, ideation and visualisation. We started using it seriously with the onset of COVID, and now we're often back in the office we still use it whenever we need a shared visual space...!

  ### 37. An essential tool for collaboration in virtual meetings

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniel M. | O, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 24, 2023

**What do you like best about Mural?**

Mural is pretty intuitive and easy to use yet a very complete tool. I use it with different clients in virtual meetings and it brings a sense of efficiency being fun to use.

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

Nothing so far. As a paid user, I have all features that I need. It would probably be good to ofer more of these amazing features to free users too. It's important they use good collaboration tools.

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It breaks monotony that virtual meetings sometimes have. It allows an amazing, instant and smooth collaboration to all the meeting participants, both to those that like to share ideas and also to those that might be more introverted. It fosters virtual closeness and fun.

  ### 38. My simplest collaborative workspace experience to date

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Patrick R. | PhD Student, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 11, 2022

**What do you like best about Mural?**

The simplicity of the platform is the main aspect I enjoy. Among the features that I like the most are the easiness of grouping and organizing my stickers, the variety of the framework layouts and icons that allow the creation of beautiful workspaces, and the fact that I never experienced limits on the number of participants or the number of stickers I can use when in my free account. I also like the fact that I am able to see in real-time what my team members are working on so we can give and receive feedback as we work.

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

Although not a critical limitation, I think that Mural could include more connector and shape types. The same is true for Table layouts, although I believe the company is already working on it since it is a "Beta" tool. Compared to other tools I have used before, I miss some apps that could be helpful such as "Code Blocks" and "Charts", both of which are included in "Miro", the other collaborative workspace tool I commonly use.

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have used Mural for some classes at school as both an instructor (for classes I was a teaching assistant) and as a student, in my group projects. For my role as an instructor, Mural makes it easy to navigate between collaborative rooms and provides real-time feedback for my students. When I use it for my class assignments, it helps to speed up and organize design processes, such as when we use the "Design Sprint" method, and facilitates communication and collaboration among team members.

  ### 39. Mural Work platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Carla C. | Data Analyst, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 23, 2023

**What do you like best about Mural?**

Great that everyone on the team can be in there working at the same time, see who is in there, and you can either watch them do their work, or put it in private mode so that you do not see what they are doing. Just terrific collaborative tool and fun.

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

Nothing really, being picky is the sizing of text when you enter it in sticky notes, but that is just due to how much other stuff is on the page and how close you are zoomed in. So, lots of moving and zooming in and out to see everything. But, how else would you get everything on 1 page? So, not a legitimate complaint really.

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Team collaboration, Teambuilding, great tool that makes it easier for us to create shared Tasks and To Do lists, Project and Process flows/flow charts,
Helps us stay focused on priorities, timelines, and helps us see and understand what others on the team are working on.

  ### 40. Love this program!!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 06, 2023

**What do you like best about Mural?**

It was such a helpful tool for my team to use to brainstorm ideas, categorize, them and assign ownership. It was enjoyable and the whole team really loved it.

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

It can be a bit laggy at times when you have a large number of people working on it at the same time, but nothing that really got in the way.

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were able to work together as a team to brainstorm and get everyone truly involved

  ### 41. I like to have order

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Przemek P. | Lead, Infrastructure Specialist , Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 07, 2023

**What do you like best about Mural?**

I like its simplicity in bringing practical solutions for communication. I believe communication is a key to success in big teams, and this tool connects team members.

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

I don't like the logging process; it always asks for a password and doesn't remember my email. This part could be improved so the sessions could be longer and browser could also save the email.

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mural brings visualization to the information we pass through. Thanks to this, we can assimilate more information without confusion or getting tired because it is simply too much data.

  ### 42. Mural good thing

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Krzysztof P. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 01, 2023

**What do you like best about Mural?**

Aesthetics: A visually pleasing mural with a harmonious color palette, balanced composition, and skillful execution is often admired.

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

Poor Execution: Murals that are poorly executed, with uneven lines, sloppy brushwork, or lack of attention to detail, can be less visually appealing and diminish the overall impact of the artwork.

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Community Engagement: Murals can foster a sense of community pride and ownership by involving local artists, residents, and businesses in the creation process. They serve as a platform for community expression and can strengthen social bonds.

  ### 43. Extremely effective tool for virtual collaboration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ratnaji Rao N. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 06, 2023

**What do you like best about Mural?**

Ability to collaborate and workshop with multiple associates virtually; and the ability to clone real-life face-to-face workshopping experience via an online forum

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

Nothing I can think of - MURAL helped deliver the intended format of my workshops

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We wanted to do a listening session with a large group of colleagues across the country (6-7 locations, 4 timezones) to get everyone to share their comments and views and then build on some themes to discuss as a larger group. Audio chats don't allow multiple people to contribute at the same time like MURAL does or encourage 'silent' team members to contribute effectively, which MURAL allows

  ### 44. Easy organization and collaboration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Toren L. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 12, 2023

**What do you like best about Mural?**

It is easy to paste images for a reference board or start brainstorming. You can organize and share with other team members quickly.

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

Sometimes images must be pasted twice, as the first try will not take (typically if they are large).

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps us solve group problems by allowing us to brainstorm and collect ideas from many team members in one place. We can move and even "vote" on the best ideas.

  ### 45. Platform that supports nominal group process with amazing customer service

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jasmine G. | Director of Native American and Indigenous Affairs, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 31, 2022

**What do you like best about Mural?**

The customizable features, paired with easy use for the average user, turn what could be a long unproductive meeting into one where all voices are heard and captured visually. I like the options for visitors to access the platform with or without needing to create an account. Mural has been very useful when I need to hear from a wide range of perspectives, from faculty to undergrad students to community members. Mural has been a go-to tool.

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

Saving the mural as a file takes a moment because it needs to be sent to your inbox to be downloaded versus downloading immediately from the web browser. It does come within a minute or so but adds a step of needing to open up your inbox, which could be distracting.

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Creating space for multiple perspectives is essential when addressing any issue, challenge, vision, etc. At the same time, people want to feel heard. Mural provides an avenue for multiple users to engage and contribute that captures and visualizes different perspectives, which then creates buy-in from all participants.

  ### 46. I've got our whole team using Mural!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amelia J. | Ux researcher, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 28, 2022

**What do you like best about Mural?**

I am a UX researcher and we use Mural for anything from brainstorming to running remote workshops to taking notes in interviews. It's so versatile and easy to use when collaborating with other team members. I have got our whole team using Mural now for all types of collaborative and brainstorming work and organising team events!

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

I would like to get a monthly/quarterly email with new features/updates from Mural as I feel I miss out or don't notice new features when they come out. I would also like to be able to run voting sessions with visitors (anonymous animals/people who don't have an account) as it is unrealistic for me to ask all our students to set up a mural account before a research session

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mural has excelled our research capability as a UX team - our ability to take notes, run workshops with users and get their feedback in real time. It has also made our visuals and data presentation very strong and we now have lots of people trusting in our work as we are able to be fully transparent when using Mural

  ### 47. Great tool for creative collaboration

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrada P. | Pricing Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 07, 2022

**What do you like best about Mural?**

Mural is a great tool to use for collaborating with the team. The flexibility it has enables people to add information in their own way; it is infinite so endless amount of info/stickers/frameworks can be added. I get the sense that more of its potential is used in more creative fields where individuals add pictures and communicate visually.

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

The stickers have limited capability - the writing stays in he middle even though there is a lot more space in the box where it can sit.
The arrows connecting different stickers are sometimes very fiddly and especially if the stickers are close to each other they look odd and don't connect properly.

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mural is great as it gives the ability to work with the wider team on concepts, particularly in the brainstorming phase but also after this stage to add in updates as the project progresses

  ### 48. Easy and organized

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andre P. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 23, 2023

**What do you like best about Mural?**

Ease of conducting sessions and meetings, guiding the team on pending issues and organizing the routine of the organizations. We use it daily,

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

The issue of object blocking tends to complicate the user's life a bit, and I believe there is an opportunity for improvement in this matter by avoiding changes.

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Organization of the work methodology according to Scrum, facilitating the work and missions of the area. I recommend any company to use the agile methodology with the mural.

  ### 49. Exactly what I needed for online collaboration

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Paweł L. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 10, 2023

**What do you like best about Mural?**

I'm a lecturer and I've been looking for a tool to engage my students to the maximum. Mural let's me do just that, mainly due to seamless experience on multiple platforms. I do not really need bells and whistles, Mural just works,

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

Not much. I've had issues with downloading the whole Mural after the lectures as a good quality PDF, but this was the only problem I've encountered.

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have not yet used Mural for business problems, but I would consider it.

  ### 50. Working with Mural

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 20, 2023

**What do you like best about Mural?**

In consulting, an online tool that allows you to interact with clients remotely and synchronously is invaluable.

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

In my point of view and in comparison with other similar tools, the little diversity of templates to avoid having to start some things from scratch.

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Generally working with my clients in person, I use a lot of boards and post-its to define processes. When the pandemic began, MURLA helped me continue with my sessions due to the need to serve remote clients due to COVID.

Now thanks to the use of MURAL, I can also serve clients anywhere in the world.
