I have been using combination of (Anypoint Platform + API led connectivity ) for serving our customers. I have been using anypoint for policy enforcement and security. This one platform give us everything you need to complete your whole CI/CD journey. This platform has helped me personally to understand how mulesoft can ease your day to day work by simplifying all process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Couple of things I think mulesoft should improve.
1. Should include something related to performance tuning in the anypoint platform.
2. Number of policy should be increased.
3. Implementation of oauth should be simpler.
4. More options should be given for application debugging and troubleshooting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It was easy to learn and good to work.Mainly they are providing the cloud hub for deploying our applications. and also provides Development tools that make it easy to design APIs, implement integration flows, and build connectors. ESBs are mainly used for integration. Mule ESB cant be used in a system which has just 2 application or is using just one protocol.MuleSoft's small community is it's only limitation. However, it's community is increasing now at a fast rate and vendors are opting Mule for their integration solutions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Initially I was a bit hesitant as I'm a .NET based developer, so moving to a different platform for API development had me concerned. After completing the free Developer course, I felt a bit more confident, but still was left wanting to see the potential of the platform. With a proof-of-concept application, we were able to transition from design to build to integration in a matter of days, not weeks or even months. It was impeccable, and the flows just; well, they flowed. Everything is straightforward, and there is still so much that I haven't tapped into in regards to its potential. At the moment? Nothing. The training 'could' be improved to include testing, but honestly having a basic understanding of unit testing in any framework is sufficient to generate useful tests (and also, auto-generating tests from flows is fantastic!). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The ability to quickly turn out challenging solutions without needing to write advanced programs to do translations of data. One of the largest gains we have seen with is the out of the box connectors to major platforms such as Salesforce. Not having to understand Salesforce's APIs and simply being able to plug in a connector to do most of the configuration has allowed us to accomplish tasks in much less time than our prior approaches. The documentation/community available on Runtime 4.0+ could be improved. One of the hardest items to overcome is the community that backs other programming languages (i.e. Stack Overflow). When programming within MuleSoft, there is not much of an active community that can be looked to for answers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Mulesoft's product and relationship team has been great. They work with their clients closely in defining the product roadmap. They visit their clients frequently to discuss roadmap items, invite to conferences, address issues and concerns. Their online training portal is excellent. Many of our staffs went through the online training to get self sufficient with MuleSoft development, and were able to contribute to the projects.
The installation of the Anypoint exchange software and tools are easy. They are self explanatory , and doesnt need expert knowledge to install and use the product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is not any that I dislike. However, as an area of improvement, there could be more training arranged for Mule 3 to Mule 4 migration. There could be discount vouchers for Mule certifications.
The other thing is we are expecting for tools for Mule 3 to Mule 4 migration, which is being worked upon by Mulesoft. If there could be a firm timeline on the release of this tool, it will help us to plan the migration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
the Design View, the online platform (especially the Runtime Manager with the monitoring tools).
The RAML-based APIkit router proved to be in particular very useful by automatically implement basic url/request validation without additional code.
The DataWeave language is extremely powerful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There doesn't seem to be a clear way to use Splitter Aggregator in an asynchronous way (not at least with version 3.x.x of the platform).
MUnit tests are unreliable and they are not faithful to the actual behaviour of the application (a lot of false positives and negatives): it is more effective to just deploy and run the tests manually most of the time.
RAML language rules are quite confusing and do not have any annotation feature like Swagger. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like its
GUI Hybrid feature - console view for all application.
Easy access - I can access multiple environment/server in a same place
Hybrid - I can deploy different application in different server in same console. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Artifact Backup - manual deployment or sandbox deployment doesn't have any artifact backup option. So for storing the latest artifact again we have to use some third party tool like - jenkins. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

This is the place where you can, design, verify, develop, deploy and monitor your APIs as well as application within a scalable infrastructure Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
API Designer is could have been much better by way of some UI designer tool through you could specify the elements you would wish to select on the header front and rest you could create as you wish again via some UI. It does seem a bit difficult to achieve but it could be very helpful for API designers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
API Led approach is the best part of the mulesoft. Anypoint platforms along with anypoint studio provide the best way to develop an application with simulation in minimum time. so development lifecycle will be very effectively worked. All the mule connectors are also very easy to use and helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
for connector development in mule 4, there are many issues regarding anypoint studio workspace. as any changes in code may not be reflected back to the application in which we have used that connector for testing by adding maven dependency of it. Sometimes control z is also not working in anypoint studio. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
MuleSoft Anypoint is a very mature and robust product. It's easy to get used to it and the components in flow designer are flexible, reliable, and powerful to build from simple to complex integration scenarios. The API Manager platform requires no effort to configure providing fast ramp up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
In my country the taxes are high and the currency exchange rate presents some disadvantage. The entire solution is best suited for large companies, where multiple development teams work making the ROI more visible. The other thing is that in Brazil we don't see advertising and the brand is not well known. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
