To complex for new bee to understand. Need some babysitting for three months to train a new bee. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The Anypoint Platform has many valuable features, such as the design center, exchange, and runtime manager. It is easy to see what is live and roll back deployments as needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is not possible to manage more than one deployment at a time in the Runtime Manager. Applications must be updated, started, or stopped individually, making upgrades tricky without scripting to use the API. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
MuleSoft Anypoint Platform makes a promise for easy integration and API management. There are many cases, when MuleSoft Anypoint Plaform does this very well - it is a repository for reusable components, deployments directly from IDE.
Good list of components, that can help to quickly and easy to integrate with varios services like Saleforce or JIRA.
The service provides an API gateway, where you can setup rate limiting, authentication and many other things that are necessary for the succesfull API integration.
PaaS that runs your workflows also work very well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
If you have own infrastruture, logging, metrics services etc MuleSoft Anypoint Platform require investments into integration into existing infrastructure. Another major concern it is a people resource availablity on the market. MuleSoft is not popular framework in the developers community and number of opportunities for a job with MuleSoft is pretty limited, that why it is hard to convince the engineering team to start use MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
