What do you like best about MSG91?

We started using MSG91 in one of our eCommerce projects where we needed to send order updates and OTP verification messages to customers. Since we manage multiple Shopify-based stores at Velstar, having a reliable SMS solution is important for our operations.

From a UI/UX perspective, the platform is clean but takes some time to understand initially, especially while working with templates and flow setup. Once familiar, the flow builder becomes useful for building simple automation without much engineering effort.

In terms of integrations, MSG91 works well with our backend systems through APIs and was relatively easy to connect with our existing setup. Performance has been consistent, and delivery speed is generally fast, which is critical for OTPs and order notifications.

What do you like best about MSG91?

As a Chief Technology Officer at Tablevibe, we use MSG91 mainly for sending OTPs, order confirmations, and occasional campaign alerts across our few partner restaurants. From a UI/UX perspective, the platform is fairly clean and structured once you get familiar with it. The flow builder is especially useful for setting up simple automation like order status updates without needing heavy development work.

What do you like best about MSG91?

Our software product uses MSG91 for login verification and alerts. What we found most beneficial is the speedy delivery of OTP, which makes the login process more seamless.

We found the integration aspect to be appealing as well. The initial setup was completed reading the documentation which does not take much time as connecting SMS API from the backend was easy. When we manage backend with Supabase then we did not face any major issues adding MSG91 here.

What do you dislike about MSG91?

The dashboard UI is not very friendly. Looking for some things takes a while, especially in the reporting section.

Although the delivery is mostly on time, there are delays that you will notice while doing OTP verification. In fact, they haven't always responded right away. In some cases, I have had to follow up.

What do you like best about MSG91?

I work for a medium-sized e-commerce business (team of around 51–200 people), and we mainly use MSG91 for OTPs and order updates.

What I liked most was the speed of OTP delivery most of the time, it reaches users within 2–3 seconds. This means there are no hassles with the login or verification process. The dashboard isn't very complicated; even new users can quickly get to grips with it. We integrated with Shopify and Zoho CRM both integrations went very smoothly. Our developer didn't need much time to set up the API. Once, during one of our sales, traffic suddenly increased, but message delivery remained stable. What do you dislike about MSG91?

Although everything is generally working well, there are still some issues in certain areas. Occasionally, OTPs are delayed for some numbers, especially in remote areas. Although it's not a huge issue, it is noticeable. Another thing is that some of the reporting options on the dashboard seem a bit basic, if you want to carry out a detailed analysis, you have to export the data and view it separately. Support is generally fine, but it takes a bit longer to get a response at peak times.

What do you like best about MSG91?

We mainly use MSG91 for order updates, OTP verification and customer notifications. What we found most helpful was being able to manage multiple communications from one place - both OTPs and transactional SMS messages. This means we don't have to maintain separate services. The API integration process was smooth for us. The development team managed to set up the basic flow in a very short time. In particular, it has become easy to trigger order confirmation SMS messages. Another positive aspect is that deliveries are fast most of the time - customers receive updates quickly, which has led to a slight reduction in support queries. What do you dislike about MSG91?

The user interface of the dashboard is not fully intuitive. Finding some options can take some time especially the first time around. The reporting section must be focused clarity. The delivery will not miss an OTP or notification that needs to be delivered urgently. Although, at times the delivery is getting delayed in most of the cases it’s good. At first the pricing was something we could manage. But as we started using it more and more we found it becoming expensive. The support team is helpful, but not always on time. What do you like best about MSG91?

We use MSG91 within our SaaS app for user verification and system notifications. What I like the most is the OTP delivery speed. Most of the time the users get the OTP within a few seconds. This helps to keep the onboarding flow smooth.

Integrating the API was easy. The SMS API setup was done in no time by our development team and the documentation is clear. You can look at the logs that show the SMS sent and failed from the dashboard.

Moreover, in addition to OTPs, we can also send transactional alerts (like account updates or payment confirmations) from the same platform, which has multi-use support. What do you dislike about MSG91?

At first, I found the dashboard to be very annoying. The interface is filled with many options but I do not need to select all options. The organisation in the reporting section should be a bit more clear and more organised.

Generally speaking, it is quick but may have delays. Messages may not reach the delivery channel (user’s mobile) which hampering OTP flow. User is unhappy and said code delivery was late.
