Motus Pros and Cons

I like that Motus is easy to use for mileage trackign. I can have Motus track my location automatically or manually enter my miles. The Motus Perks are awesome too! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The only downside I've run into is that running the app drains my battery if I'm not plugged into my vehicle power. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The auto mode doesn't work in my situation as I often drive/ride in vehicles for non reimbursement occurrences. Sometimes I forget to start tracking and have to manually add in mileage, which isn't difficult, only tedious as it only accounts for point to point miles based on database gps maps start/stop location, which doesn't account for detours or side stops.

It uses an average gas price for an area from a government report. Surge gas prices are not included until that report is able to include that data, so significant surges can begin to cost you if you have a fuel inefficient vehicle. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Inability to edit records. I sometimes forget to turn on the app at start of the trip but turn it on when I remember it. I have to delete and reenter manually. It would be great if I could edit the location Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Motus payouts are on a good schedule. They need to be on a particular date every month, sometimes they can be a week behind. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like how easy it is to track daily mileage and the direct deposit payouts. I keep my log in my card and just enter it by the end of the month. The software does not integrate with Google maps. While this is less of a dislike and more of a want, I would really like the ability to have google maps track my location and auto add it to Motus. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
