### 1. The Enduring Gold Standard for Enterprise-Scale Talent Sourcing

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sean R. | Executive Consultant - Enterprise Platforms & Digital Transformation, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Monster?**

Monster remains the gold standard for candidate reach and database depth. Having used it throughout my career in enterprise software and marketing, I find the sheer volume of its resume database to be its greatest strength. It provides unparalleled access to a diverse talent pool that other platforms often miss, and its longevity in the market means it has a 'memory' of talent that is incredibly valuable for high-level recruiting

**What do you dislike about Monster?**

Because it has been around so long, the user interface can sometimes feel a bit legacy compared to newer, AI-driven niche platforms. The filtering tools are powerful but require a bit of manual 'finesse' to narrow down top-tier executive talent. I’d love to see more modern, automated outreach integrations that match the speed of today’s hiring cycles.

**What problems is Monster solving and how is that benefiting you?**

for me, Monster solves the problem of 'top-of-funnel' talent acquisition at scale. For my leadership roles, it serves as a foundational tool for sourcing candidates across different geographies and industries quickly. The benefit is the confidence that we aren't missing out on a massive segment of the workforce, ensuring our candidate pipeline is as robust as possible from day one

**Official Response from Paola Valdes:**

> Hello,

Thank you for the 'Gold Standard' endorsement! We are proud to serve as a foundational tool for your enterprise sourcing, and we’re thrilled to hear that our database’s 'talent memory' and scale continue to provide you with a competitive advantage in leadership recruiting.

We also appreciate your candid feedback regarding the user interface and the desire for more automated outreach integrations. We know the importance of matching our database with the speed of modern hiring cycles, and we are actively working on refining our tools to ensure they provide both the power you expect and the efficiency you need.

Thank you for your long-standing partnership and for trusting Monster to ensure your candidate pipelines remain robust from day one.

 ### 2. Essential Tool for Dynamic Candidate Sourcing

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amarpreet S. | Team Lead (Recruitment), Staffing and Recruiting, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Monster?**

I like Monster for its strong access to active candidates, which leads to faster response times and quick closures for urgent or high-volume roles. Its job posting feature ensures consistent inbound applications and helps create pipelines of candidates from entry-level to mid-level roles. Additionally, I found the initial setup to be very easy and simple to adapt due to its user-friendly interface.

**What do you dislike about Monster?**

Candidate quality can be inconsistent and search accuracy can be better. There's limited reach for niche roles. I'd like to see improvement in candidate quality and search accuracy, better profile validation and freshness indicators, and improved filtering for intent and availability.

**What problems is Monster solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Monster gives us strong access to active candidates and efficient job posting, which aid in quick closures for urgent roles and expand our candidate pool, solving slow hiring and limited sourcing channel issues.

**Official Response from Paola Valdes:**

> Hello,

Thank you for sharing your experience with Monster. We are pleased to hear that our platform is helping you achieve quick closures on urgent roles and that you found our initial setup user-friendly and efficient for your high-volume needs.

We also appreciate your detailed feedback regarding candidate quality and search accuracy. We note your interest in improved profile validation and freshness indicators; providing recruiters with high-intent, available talent is a key focus for us. We are consistently evaluating our filtering tools to better serve niche sourcing requirements and to ensure our search results align with your specific quality standards.

Thank you for trusting Monster to help expand your candidate pool and solve your high-volume hiring challenges. We value your partnership as we continue to refine our platform.

 ### 3. Gives what promise but with a little difficulty

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anand K. | REcruitment Lead, Staffing and Recruiting, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Monster?**

Monster helps us source candidates based on job market needs and specific skill sets, especially in the USA market. There is a variety of candidates available to match the required skills and preferred locations.

**What do you dislike about Monster?**

Filter: This is one important feature it’s missing for sourcing in the USA market. You can’t determine the specific visa you’re looking for, and most of the filters are complicated, which makes it difficult for new users to understand.

**What problems is Monster solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Monster has helped us at Qualis1 Inc. with sourcing and finding the best candidates in the market, based on the skills required for the job.

**Official Response from Paola Valdes:**

> Hello,

Thank you for sharing your experience with Monster. We are pleased to hear that our platform has successfully helped you source qualified candidates across various domains and locations in the USA market.

We appreciate your specific feedback regarding our filtering options and the desire for more granular visa-status filters. We recognize that navigating complex requirements is a key part of your workflow, and we are constantly evaluating how to make our search tools more intuitive for both new and experienced users.

Thank you for trusting Monster to help build your team. Your insights are invaluable as we work to refine our platform to better serve your sourcing needs.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Abdullah M. | Business Development Executive, Human Resources, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Monster?**

I have been using Monster from last year. Monster makes it really easy to find the right candidates quickly. I love how simple and user-friendly the platform is. The search tools are excellent and allow me to filter candidates based on skills, experience, and location. It allows me to keep all candidate information in one place, which is very convenient. Highly recommended

**What do you dislike about Monster?**

I wish candidate profiles had more detailed information about their work history.

**What problems is Monster solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Monster helps me find qualified candidates quickly, saving time on manual resume searches. We work in fast-paced recruitment for healthcare clients, and most positions remain available for only 6 hours. Monster is very helpful in allowing us to find applicants faster.

If you want, I can also make it sound even more natural

> Hello,

Thank you so much! We are glad to hear that our platform is keeping pace with your 6-hour hiring windows. **Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** John D. | Sr. US IT Recruiter, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Monster?**

I like best about Monster is its strong resume database and advanced Boolean search capabilities, which make it easy to find experienced and niche candidates quickly. It also provides good visibility for job postings and helps reach both active and passive job seekers

**What do you dislike about Monster?**

One thing I find challenging about Monster is that sometimes the search results include candidates who aren’t fully aligned with the job requirements, which requires additional filtering. However, with well-constructed Boolean searches, this can be minimized

**What problems is Monster solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Monster solves the problem of efficiently sourcing qualified candidates for open positions. Its extensive resume database, advanced search tools, and job posting capabilities help me quickly identify and reach both active and passive candidates, saving time and improving the quality of hires

**Official Response from Paola Valdes:**

 ### 6. Best Platform for Finding Top Medical & Pharma Candidates

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pridhvi R. | US recuiter, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Monster?**

When I’m trying to find a candidate in the medical and pharma industry, this is the best platform for finding good candidates. It’s been the most useful to me.

**What do you dislike about Monster?**

Nothing as of now. Everything is good so far. I know every product has its advantages as well as disadvantages, but I haven’t faced any disadvantages yet.

**What problems is Monster solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Monster helps me find both engineering-level roles as well as operator roles. Some other portals only offer roles at one level, but Monster supports both, which is helpful for me.

**Official Response from Paola Valdes:**

> Hello,

Thank you so much for the 5-star review. We are thrilled to hear that Monster has become your go-to platform for specialized Medical and Pharma recruitment. We take great pride in our database's versatility, so it’s wonderful to know that we are successfully helping you bridge the gap between high-level engineering roles and essential operator positions.

 ### 7. Good to Have but Not Great

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lizzie P. | Senior Operations Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 25, 2025

**What do you like best about Monster?**

It is a fairly simple tool and is easy to use and manage. It is also pretty well-known and used by a decent number of candidates. From a pricing and plan standpoint, the flat fee for views, regardless of user count, is nice, especially for larger companies. The bullhorn integration is also nifty, as recruiters can work within the system and simplify a few processes. Within the search, there are some decent filters/additions. Customer Support/Account Managers are responsive and prompt.

**What do you dislike about Monster?**

The simplicity is both an addition and a subtraction. The candidate quality is not great - better for lower-level positions than technical/skilled skillsets. It also tends to have more fake resumes from third parties. The usage and ROI are low. It would be nice to be able to see/pull usage reports directly.

**What problems is Monster solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Monster provides our recruitment staff with an additional resource and outlet to source and find candidates. Access to candidate resumes/profiles and contact information is immediate and helpful, rather than having to wait for acceptance or approval.

**Official Response from Rafael Pagan:**

> Hi Lizzie,

Thank you for taking the time to review Monster. It is great to hear that the Bullhorn integration is simplifying processes for your recruiters and that our support team has been responsive to your needs.

I want to address your concerns regarding ROI and reporting. We understand that for a Senior Operations Analyst, direct access to data is vital. We also hear your feedback on candidate quality and are actively tuning our filters to reduce third-party noise.

We look forward to continuing to work with you this coming year and are committed to ensuring you see better value. I have flagged this to your dedicated account manager; they will reach out shortly to set up a recurring report for you so you don't have to wait for us to see your usage stats.

We look forward to a successful year ahead with you!

 ### 8. Reliable Platform with a Strong Candidate Pool

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Monster?**

I like Monster's name recognition; a lot of candidates go to Monster to post their resumes because they are well-known. Their UI is very easy to navigate, and their new tile format is great for giving a quick glance at all relevant information, which helps me decide whether to dive deeper or move on to the next candidate. I also find the initial setup very easy, as they walked us through each step and handled most of it on their own.

**What do you dislike about Monster?**

Sometimes there are fake candidates that post their resumes on the site multiple times in a phishing-type scam to try and steal clients. This isn't a Monster-specific issue, as it's been rampant as of late in the staffing world.

**What problems is Monster solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Monster helps us identify the right candidate match for clients with its large candidate pool. The name recognition ensures steady candidate flow, and the easy-to-navigate UI, including the new tile format, provides quick candidate evaluations.

**Official Response from Paola Valdes:**

> Hello,

Thank you for your detailed feedback! We are thrilled to hear that our name recognition and new tile format are helping your team evaluate candidates more efficiently. It’s great to know that our setup process and user interface have provided such a smooth experience for your operations.

We also appreciate your perspective on candidate data integrity. Maintaining a high-quality, reliable marketplace is a top priority for us, and insights from our partners are essential as we continue to refine our platform and enhance our verification standards. We value your partnership and look forward to continuing to support your sourcing goals.

 ### 9. Job Board Review

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cally W. | Project Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Monster?**

During our vetting process, we found that Monster offers a lot of great features, and its application process is straightforward. That ease of use helps us attract applicants.

**What do you dislike about Monster?**

We’ve found that many of our candidates are using other job boards. We recruit for manufacturing and warehouse roles, and in some of our markets we’ve noticed that people simply aren’t familiar with Monster.

**What problems is Monster solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For larger areas when we were vetting we found their talent pool to be full of qualified talent. They also have a lot of great integrations and their analytics are easy to review to help grow your talent pool.

**Official Response from Paola Valdes:**

> Hello!

We appreciate you taking the time to share such a detailed review. It’s great to hear that our analytics, integrations, and straightforward application process are helping you successfully vet and grow your talent pool.

 ### 10. Monster: Efficient Candidate Sourcing with a User-Friendly Interface

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lavesh S. | Talent Aquisition Specialist, Staffing and Recruiting, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Monster?**

Monster is an excellent platform for sourcing candidates, and its user-friendly interface makes the process smooth. The platform offers useful filters to help sort through candidates efficiently. What I appreciate most about Monster is the overview it provides of each resume’s content, which saves me from unnecessary profile views. This platform is especially helpful for handling various types of job requirements. I use Monster daily, and it has never disappointed me, it consistently helps me find the right candidates for my job needs.

**What do you dislike about Monster?**

The only aspect I dislike about Monster is the lack of a visa sorting filter. Currently, it only offers a Citizenship filter, which allows us to select citizens and permanent residents. However, it would be much more useful if we could also sort profiles based on other visa types, such as H1B or EAD.

**What problems is Monster solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Monster helps me source suitable candidates for my daily job requirements. Its interface is very user-friendly, making it easy to navigate. The platform also offers advanced search options, which allow me to find candidates who closely match my needs. Additionally, it assists with mass emailing and job postings. I appreciate the save search feature, and I receive notifications when new matching candidates appear on the portal.

**Official Response from Rafael Pagan:**

> Thank you for being a daily Monster user and for providing such a thorough review of your experience. We are so glad to hear that our user-friendly interface and advanced search options are making your candidate sourcing process smooth and efficient. It’s great to know that the resume overview feature is specifically helping you save time by reducing unnecessary profile views.

We also appreciate your detailed feedback regarding the current Citizenship filter versus a more specific visa sorting filter. Understanding that the ability to sort by H1B or EAD types would further improve your workflow is very valuable to us. We have shared this specific insight with our product team as they work on enhancing our filtering capabilities.

Thank you for your continued trust in Monster to help you find the right candidates!

Best regards,

**Reviewed by:** Priyanga S. | Senior Executive, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 09, 2025

**What do you like best about Monster?**

The Monster Dash board is used for Job seekers, Employers, and recruiters. It will used for both IT and Non IT role. Most of the visa holders are used Monster to apply for jobs. If we need only required visa holders like H1b, OPT, EAD we can use Monster, because the power Resume search option is used for recent job seekers.

**What do you dislike about Monster?**

The monster is used for Canada candidates and Non IT roles also. It reduce to sourcing the candidate while using the advanced search because the boolean search, recent resume updated, location needs are really used for sourcing the right candidates. we can give the more sourcing inputs in monster like, Location, Visa status, salary, part time, full time, education,Security Clearance, and location preference.

**What problems is Monster solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Whice we using the Power resume search and boolean search we can get a exact quality resume. It will be used to place the candidate easily and It help to improve our income, incentive to place the senior, quality canidates. I give the 1st preferred for Visa holders to sourcing the good candidates for the role of Developers and IT role. I genuinely placed the candidates sourced from monster in Java role.

 ### 15. My Review for Monster

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Satish v. | US IT Recruiter, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 14, 2025

**What do you like best about Monster?**

In monster we can do both the IT and NON IT sourcing, it has two types of search one is Classic search and other is Power Search using it in the Power search is more comfortable in that we have two search which is semantic search or boolean search with semantic search you can provide the job titles and the list of skills you needed and you have an option to mark it as required or not required and in the power search you can simply use a boolean from the job description you take and search it easily both the ways i am comfortable to source the resumes and all the resume will be listed in ranking basis like 9.9,9.8 and so on with that we can easily sort out the quality profiles and there is an filter option which has the following years of experience, location, resume updated, education, minimum salary, willing to travel, relocation, citizenship, security clearance with these filters we can filter out the candidates based on the clients requirement.

**What do you dislike about Monster?**

Thers is a lot of confidential profiles in the monster where the resume would be a great match for the clients requirement but they won't have the contact number or the right email which is the problem in using the monster and a you do not get a proper response from the Non IT candidates they mostly do not pick the calls or respond to the email.

**What problems is Monster solving and how is that benefiting you?**

monster helps in finding the qualified strong candidates based on the client's requirement and the search filters helps us in filtering the candidates based on the client's need in both the IT and NON IT technical roles, it saves time and improves our hiring process, we have a access to wide range of candidates from freshers to experienced professionals like Vps, Directors and so on.

**Official Response from Rafael Pagan:**

> Thank you for your incredibly detailed review! We are glad to hear that both our Classic and Power Search tools are helping you efficiently source for diverse IT and non-IT requirements. It’s great to know that the semantic search and ranking features are making it easier for you to pinpoint high-quality profiles based on specific skills and years of experience.

We also appreciate your honest feedback regarding confidential profiles. We understand it can be frustrating when a great match doesn't have visible contact details. These settings are in place to respect candidate privacy, but we are always looking for ways to improve the outreach process for our recruiters. Regarding the response rates from non-IT candidates, we have shared this insight with our candidate engagement team to explore how we can better encourage active communication across all sectors.

Thank you for your partnership and for being a valued member of the Monster community!

Best regards,

 ### 18. One of the Best Job Boards on the Market

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vikram G. | Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Monster?**

It is by far one of the best job boards in the market

**What do you dislike about Monster?**

It could be better if candidate resumes were unique. For example, H1B candidates sometimes create multiple profiles using the same resume but different email IDs.

**What problems is Monster solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A great place to find both IT and non-IT candidates. The job posting feature works really well, too.

**Official Response from Paola Valdes:**

> Hello,

Thank you for your high praise and for designating Monster as a top choice in the market. We are pleased to hear that our platform has been a valuable resource for your IT and non-IT hiring needs and that our job posting features are driving efficiency for your team.

We appreciate you bringing your observations regarding profile uniqueness to our attention. Insights like yours are essential to our process, as they help us identify areas where we can further refine our platform to better support our partners' workflows. ### 19. Effortless Recruitment with an Intuitive Platform

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Deep M. | Senior Technical Recruiter, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Monster?**

The platform is easy to use and makes it much simpler to find the right candidates. It truly is a great tool for recruitment.

**What do you dislike about Monster?**

So far, we have not encountered any issues; the product has been meeting our expectations.

**What problems is Monster solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Finding candidates who have the right skills and experience can be challenging. With this platform, we are able to access details of active candidates or post a job on the portal to attract applicants.

**Official Response from Rafael Pagan:**

> Hi Deep,

Thank you for the wonderful feedback! You hit the nail on the head—finding candidates with the exact right skills and experience is incredibly challenging right now.

We are so happy that our platform is helping you cut through that challenge and giving you access to the active candidates you need. We look forward to continuing to meet your expectations!

 ### 20. Disappointing Performance in Candidate Sourcing

**Rating:** 0.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jimmy B. | Partner, Human Resources, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Monster?**

I found the initial setup of Monster to be easy.

**What do you dislike about Monster?**

I didn't have a good experience with Monster. I advertised a role but didn't receive a single application. I also tried the CV search feature, which was even worse. They really need to advertise more to get candidates to use the platform. Additionally, they should provide incentives for recruiters to use Monster, as recruiters bring both jobs and candidates.

**What problems is Monster solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Monster didn't help. I advertised a role and got no applications; the CV search was even worse.

**Official Response from Paola Valdes:**

> Hello,

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are pleased to hear that your initial setup was seamless, but we sincerely apologize that the sourcing results did not meet your team's expectations. We understand that for an HR department, time-to-fill is a critical metric, and failing to receive applications for an advertised role is a significant friction point.

We value your strategic insights regarding candidate reach and recruiter incentives. Identifying the right talent requires precision, and we are committed to providing a high-quality platform that delivers measurable results. We would welcome the opportunity to have a dedicated specialist review your search parameters and campaign strategy to ensure your roles are reaching the most relevant talent pools.

 ### 21. Monster: Huge candidate database, but needs more improvement

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Quazi Motahar H. | HR and Operations Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Monster?**

Large Candidate database, great customer support and simple interface and flexible integration with third party ATS.

**What do you dislike about Monster?**

Not get good results (candidates/applicants) for Home healthcare related jobs such as CNAs, HHAs, Homecare Office and field staffs etc.

**What problems is Monster solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Using Monster for hiring different positions and office staffs. It performs best for positions like Marketing, Administrative and IT roles. But for particular niche like home care and home healthcare I haven't had the best experience. But, they have a very good support team and great pricing plans for SMB like us.

**Official Response from Joseline De Jesus:**

> Hello,

Thank you for your honest feedback and for being a valued SMB partner. While we’re glad our ATS integrations and support team have provided a smooth experience, we hear you on the difficulty you’ve had finding the right Home Healthcare candidates. We’ve engineered our platform to be a high-performance engine for a wide range of roles. Your insights are incredibly helpful as we continue to refine our database reach to ensure we’re delivering the same quality for your field staff as we do for your office roles. We appreciate your patience and are committed to helping you see better results across the board.

 ### 22. Effortless Recruitment with Monster

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kelsey M.

**Reviewed Date:** January 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Monster?**

I like Monster because it's very easy to understand. It's straightforward to get candidates' resumes and then reply to them via email to set up interviews. The initial setup was also very simple and easy.

**What do you dislike about Monster?**

I would say the area that could be improved is the sign on process. There are multiple security questions that are very repetitive.

**What problems is Monster solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Monster to find good candidates for my life insurance agency. It's easy to understand, obtain resumes, and communicate via email to set up interviews.

**Official Response from Paola Valdes:**

> Hello,

 ### 23. Hunting for Talent or Jobs? Here’s What Monster Brings to the Table

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anushka V. | Recruitment Associate, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Monster?**

What I like best about Monster as a recruiter is how it helps me find quality candidates quickly. The platform’s search tools are pretty solid, making it easier to filter through tons of resumes and pinpoint the right fit. I also appreciate how Monster lets me manage job postings and track applicants all in one place—it keeps everything organized and saves me a lot of time. Overall, it’s a reliable tool that helps me connect with the right talent without all the extra hassle.

**What do you dislike about Monster?**

Honestly, one thing that bugs me about Monster is how sometimes you get flooded with applications, and a lot of them aren’t really the right fit. It takes a decent amount of time just to go through all the resumes and figure out who actually matches the job. Also, some of the candidate management tools feel a little clunky or confusing at first, so there’s definitely a bit of a learning curve. Don’t get me wrong—it’s a good platform overall—but it could definitely be smoother and easier to use for recruiters like me.

**What problems is Monster solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Monster helps solve the headache of finding the right candidates without having to dig through endless job boards or scattered resumes. For me, it’s been a real time-saver because everything is in one place, and the search tools help narrow down the list so I’m not wasting time on people who don’t quite fit. It makes the whole hiring process less chaotic and more organized, which means I can focus more on connecting with good candidates instead of drowning in paperwork.

**Official Response from Rafael Pagan:**

> Thank you for your thoughtful and detailed review! We are so glad to hear that Monster has become a reliable tool for you, helping you stay organized by managing job postings and tracking applicants all in one place. It’s great to know our search tools are helping you save time and focus on connecting with quality candidates.

We also appreciate your honest feedback regarding the volume of applications and the learning curve associated with some of our management tools. We understand that sorting through candidates who aren't a perfect match can be time-consuming, and we are constantly working to refine our filtering and "match" technology to make the process even smoother for recruiters.

Your insights help us understand how we can make the platform less "clunky" and more intuitive for your daily needs. Thank you for being part of the Monster community!

Best regards,

 ### 24. Talent Acquisition Solutions

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Isha S. | US Technical Recruiter, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Monster?**

As a recruiter with four years of experience, I've consistently found Monster to be an exceptionally effective platform for sourcing candidates, especially for business professional roles. Its robust database has been an invaluable asset in identifying top talent that perfectly matches my clients' specific requirements. What truly sets Monster apart is its efficient boolean search functionality. By crafting precise boolean strings and keywords, I can quickly narrow down the vast talent pool to highly relevant candidates. It's incredibly intuitive; within as little as 15 minutes, I'm often able to pinpoint the ideal match. This efficiency and effectiveness make Monster an indispensable tool in my recruitment workflow.

**What do you dislike about Monster?**

While Monster's effectiveness for finding talent is undeniable, one aspect that could certainly be improved is its allowance for multiple resumes from a single candidate, often containing identical information. This feature can indeed clutter the database and complicate the sourcing process for recruiters like us. Ideally, it would be far more efficient if the platform encouraged candidates to update their existing profiles rather than creating redundant ones. This would lead to a cleaner, more accurate database, ultimately making our job of finding the best candidates even quicker and more streamlined. It's definitely a point worth considering for future platform enhancements.

**What problems is Monster solving and how is that benefiting you?**

You know, it's really quite something. I've been using Monster for about four years now as a recruiter, and honestly, it's become my go-to, especially for business professional roles. The database there? It's just a goldmine. I consistently find the exact candidates my clients are looking for, tailored perfectly to their specifications.
What blows me away is the sheer efficiency. I can drop in a really precise boolean string and keywords, and within 15, maybe 20 minutes max, I'm usually staring at the best-matched candidates. It's incredibly intuitive and just so effective. Being able to find great talent that quickly for my business professional roles doesn't just help me get the job done; it quite literally helps me prove my worth.

 ### 25. Cost-Effective Portal with a Bigger Candidate Pool

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Himank J. | Talent Acquisition Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Monster?**

It’s more cost-effective for users, so we find more candidates available on Monster than on other job portals.

**What do you dislike about Monster?**

The sourcing criteria is quite different from other portals. Monster would be my last job portal to use because the resumes I get are often not relevant. That said, I would still keep it as a last option, since there may be more options available there.

**What problems is Monster solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For non-IT positions, it’s easy to find resumes that are readily available there. For low-pay jobs, we can also find suitable users directly on Monster itself.

**Official Response from Rafael Pagan:**

> Hi Himank, thank you for sharing your feedback!

We’re glad to hear that our cost-effectiveness and large candidate pool are helping you find resumes for non-IT and high-volume roles. We noticed your comment regarding resume relevance and would love to help you fine-tune your sourcing criteria. Often, a quick adjustment to our unique search filters or Boolean strings can significantly improve the quality of your results.

Please reach out to your account manager. We’d love to help move Monster up from your 'last option' to a primary one!

 ### 26. Proactive Recruitment with Effortless Setup

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Luis Adrian V. | Director of Growth and People

**Reviewed Date:** January 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Monster?**

I find Monster's resume search very useful, especially the database, which helps us find more passive candidates. The sourcing options are great for being more proactive in recruitment. I also appreciate how the setup was very easy and fully autonomous.

**What do you dislike about Monster?**

I don't like that there aren't enough resumes in the resume search database. It would be better to have more resumes from recent applicants.

**What problems is Monster solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Monster's sourcing options help us be more proactive in recruitment, and the resume search is great for finding passive candidates.

**Official Response from Paola Valdes:**

> Hello,

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are pleased to hear that our proactive sourcing tools and resume database have been instrumental in helping you identify passive talent. We are also glad that our autonomous setup allowed your team to begin recruiting with ease.

Hard to reach their billing office to change payment

 ### 28. Ease of Use, But Lacks Tailored Recommendations

**Reviewed by:** Kailing C.

**Reviewed Date:** February 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Monster?**

I really appreciate Monster for its ease of use, which saves time and reduces friction when posting open job positions. The initial setup was also very easy, which made getting started with Monster straightforward.

**What do you dislike about Monster?**

The job recommendations aren't as tailored as I would like, and some job postings seem outdated. Job recommendations should be tailored to job title and function.

Monster helps find candidates when I'm recruiting and eases job posting, saving time and reducing friction.

**Reviewed by:** Shivani T. | Client Services Manager - Healthcare, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Monster?**

The best feature is semantic search. It helps us find a relevant candidate with a matching job title. We utilize it as a fundamental component of our sourcing platform for Indian and US recruitment daily. Customer support is very very responsive and very very helpful. This is very help full to integrate into our ATS system to download the resume and keeping in our database. Very easy to use for new hires and trainees

**What do you dislike about Monster?**

My only dislike is it does not show the latest resume in our integrated ATS. We have integrated it in out ATS job diva and when we do talent search or job search it sometime do not match the resumes correctly.

**What problems is Monster solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are a US staffing firm and we do recruitment for non IT, IT and healthcare professional. Monster helps us in finding a suitable talent for needs of our client. ### 31. Plenty of Resumes, but the Site’s Search and Campaign Tools Are a Headache

**Rating:** 1.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Monster?**

There are plentiful resumes available for review, and as a recruiter with hiring minimums (insurance) it's good to have near limitless names.

**What do you dislike about Monster?**

The functionality of the website is a pain in the neck. Whether it's the search function, or crafting a particular search, or setting up an email campaign, it's a total headache.

**What problems is Monster solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In theory, Monster is supplying me with names of potential candidates for the financial professional positions I need to hire for. But I've never been able to use it efficiently, and then my support people kept leaving Monster and thus changing. So it's solved nothing and I wish I had never wasted the money on it.

**Official Response from Paola Valdes:**

> Hello,

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re glad our extensive candidate database supports your high-volume recruiting needs. We understand that for a small business, efficiency is everything, and we apologize for the friction you've experienced with our search and campaign tools. **What do you dislike about Monster?**

We didn't find a single individual to hire and compared to other platforms the expense surpassed the outcome.

**What do you like best about Monster?**

the best thing about monster, is their ability to leverage a wide variety of filters and tools to precisely match candidates with the right job opportunities.

**Reviewed by:** Shivam G. | Sr. Executive Talent Acquisition, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Monster?**

Monster is a good platform to find candidates based on requirements. The best part is the ‘Resume Updated’ section, which shows profiles updated recently and gives more options to find matching candidates.

**What do you dislike about Monster?**

One dislike about Monster is that it doesn’t have an option to filter or find visa candidates like H1B.

**What problems is Monster solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Monster is a useful platform for finding candidates as per needs. It provides several options to find the right match.

**Official Response from Rafael Pagan:**

> Thank you for being a Monster user and for sharing your feedback with us! We are so glad to hear that you find the "Resume Updated" section valuable. We know how important it is for talent acquisition professionals to connect with candidates who are actively looking and have recently refreshed their profiles.

We also hear your feedback regarding a filter for visa candidates, specifically for H1B status. This is a recurring request we are seeing from our recruiting partners, and we understand how much time a dedicated filter would save your team during the screening process. Please know that your input has been shared with our product team as a priority for future platform updates.

Thank you for choosing Monster to help you find the right matches for your requirements!
