It provides unparalleled access to a diverse talent pool that other platforms often miss, and its longevity in the market means it has a 'memory' of talent that is incredibly valuable for high-level recruiting

**What do you dislike about Monster?**

Because it has been around so long, the user interface can sometimes feel a bit legacy compared to newer, AI-driven niche platforms. The filtering tools are powerful but require a bit of manual 'finesse' to narrow down top-tier executive talent. I’d love to see more modern, automated outreach integrations that match the speed of today’s hiring cycles.

**What problems is Monster solving and how is that benefiting you?**

for me, Monster solves the problem of 'top-of-funnel' talent acquisition at scale. For my leadership roles, it serves as a foundational tool for sourcing candidates across different geographies and industries quickly. The benefit is the confidence that we aren't missing out on a massive segment of the workforce, ensuring our candidate pipeline is as robust as possible from day one

I like Monster for its strong access to active candidates, which leads to faster response times and quick closures for urgent or high-volume roles. Its job posting feature ensures consistent inbound applications and helps create pipelines of candidates from entry-level to mid-level roles. Additionally, I found the initial setup to be very easy and simple to adapt due to its user-friendly interface.

**What do you dislike about Monster?**

Candidate quality can be inconsistent and search accuracy can be better. There's limited reach for niche roles. I'd like to see improvement in candidate quality and search accuracy, better profile validation and freshness indicators, and improved filtering for intent and availability.

Monster gives us strong access to active candidates and efficient job posting, which aid in quick closures for urgent roles and expand our candidate pool, solving slow hiring and limited sourcing channel issues.

Monster helps us source candidates based on job market needs and specific skill sets, especially in the USA market. There is a variety of candidates available to match the required skills and preferred locations.

**What do you dislike about Monster?**

Filter: This is one important feature it’s missing for sourcing in the USA market. You can’t determine the specific visa you’re looking for, and most of the filters are complicated, which makes it difficult for new users to understand.

I have been using Monster from last year. Monster makes it really easy to find the right candidates quickly. I love how simple and user-friendly the platform is. The search tools are excellent and allow me to filter candidates based on skills, experience, and location. It allows me to keep all candidate information in one place, which is very convenient. Highly recommended

I wish candidate profiles had more detailed information about their work history.

Monster helps me find qualified candidates quickly, saving time on manual resume searches. We work in fast-paced recruitment for healthcare clients, and most positions remain available for only 6 hours. Monster is very helpful in allowing us to find applicants faster.

I like best about Monster is its strong resume database and advanced Boolean search capabilities, which make it easy to find experienced and niche candidates quickly. It also provides good visibility for job postings and helps reach both active and passive job seekers

One thing I find challenging about Monster is that sometimes the search results include candidates who aren’t fully aligned with the job requirements, which requires additional filtering. However, with well-constructed Boolean searches, this can be minimized

**What do you like best about Monster?**

When I’m trying to find a candidate in the medical and pharma industry, this is the best platform for finding good candidates. It’s been the most useful to me.

**What do you dislike about Monster?**

Nothing as of now. Everything is good so far. I know every product has its advantages as well as disadvantages, but I haven’t faced any disadvantages yet.

**What problems is Monster solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Monster helps me find both engineering-level roles as well as operator roles. Some other portals only offer roles at one level, but Monster supports both, which is helpful for me.

**What do you like best about Monster?**

It is a fairly simple tool and is easy to use and manage. It is also pretty well-known and used by a decent number of candidates. From a pricing and plan standpoint, the flat fee for views, regardless of user count, is nice, especially for larger companies. The bullhorn integration is also nifty, as recruiters can work within the system and simplify a few processes. Within the search, there are some decent filters/additions. Customer Support/Account Managers are responsive and prompt.

**What do you dislike about Monster?**

The simplicity is both an addition and a subtraction. The candidate quality is not great - better for lower-level positions than technical/skilled skillsets. It also tends to have more fake resumes from third parties. The usage and ROI are low. It would be nice to be able to see/pull usage reports directly.

**What problems is Monster solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Monster provides our recruitment staff with an additional resource and outlet to source and find candidates. Access to candidate resumes/profiles and contact information is immediate and helpful, rather than having to wait for acceptance or approval.

**What do you like best about Monster?**

I like Monster's name recognition; a lot of candidates go to Monster to post their resumes because they are well-known. Their UI is very easy to navigate, and their new tile format is great for giving a quick glance at all relevant information, which helps me decide whether to dive deeper or move on to the next candidate. I also find the initial setup very easy, as they walked us through each step and handled most of it on their own.

**What do you dislike about Monster?**

Sometimes there are fake candidates that post their resumes on the site multiple times in a phishing-type scam to try and steal clients. This isn't a Monster-specific issue, as it's been rampant as of late in the staffing world.

**What problems is Monster solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Monster helps us identify the right candidate match for clients with its large candidate pool. The name recognition ensures steady candidate flow, and the easy-to-navigate UI, including the new tile format, provides quick candidate evaluations.

During our vetting process, we found that Monster offers a lot of great features, and its application process is straightforward. That ease of use helps us attract applicants.

**What do you dislike about Monster?**

We’ve found that many of our candidates are using other job boards. We recruit for manufacturing and warehouse roles, and in some of our markets we’ve noticed that people simply aren’t familiar with Monster.

For larger areas when we were vetting we found their talent pool to be full of qualified talent. They also have a lot of great integrations and their analytics are easy to review to help grow your talent pool.

Monster is an excellent platform for sourcing candidates, and its user-friendly interface makes the process smooth. The platform offers useful filters to help sort through candidates efficiently. What I appreciate most about Monster is the overview it provides of each resume’s content, which saves me from unnecessary profile views. This platform is especially helpful for handling various types of job requirements. I use Monster daily, and it has never disappointed me, it consistently helps me find the right candidates for my job needs.

**What do you dislike about Monster?**

The only aspect I dislike about Monster is the lack of a visa sorting filter. Currently, it only offers a Citizenship filter, which allows us to select citizens and permanent residents. However, it would be much more useful if we could also sort profiles based on other visa types, such as H1B or EAD.

**What problems is Monster solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Monster helps me source suitable candidates for my daily job requirements. Its interface is very user-friendly, making it easy to navigate. The platform also offers advanced search options, which allow me to find candidates who closely match my needs. Additionally, it assists with mass emailing and job postings. I appreciate the save search feature, and I receive notifications when new matching candidates appear on the portal.
