Monk Commerce makes it easy to recommend and suggest high-profit items for customers before they check out. This adds a boost to our AOV (average order value). We've started to see immediate success with the Monk Commerce app since installing it on our BigCommerce store. The app allows us to add related products to a pop-up after specific products are added to the user's cart. Since installing, our AOV (average order value) has grown by 15%. The app is new to BigCommerce so I think some of the capabilities have yet to be reached by the developers. For instance, BigCommerce has native recommended products which could be applied to this app to reduce setup time. The statistics are also not as in-depth as we would expect. This app gives us the opportunity to show accessories and upgraded products to customers when they add specific products to their cart or when they begin the checkout process. I think there is a lot of room for improvement with analytics. For instance, which recommended products are selling, the percentage of time they're ordered together, and so on. I've talked with the developers a few times prior to installing this add-on and after. They are very interested in continuing to improve this to offer a product that will continue drive results. The app itself is very easy to install. Setting up the product funnels is very easy. There are options for product page or cart, and you can select all products, specific products, or products in certain categories (they call them collections).
