It's architecture is based on columnar design which makes analysis of big data fast. It is easy to implement as it support cross platform and light weight. It has good support as it is open source its community is really helpful and active. Its in-memory and bulk loading features is well implemented as I frequently use it. **What do you dislike about MonetDB?** It has good integration support but I had faced issue while integrating it with python connector for my data science workflow. Also it has limited indexing option compared to its competitors and it also lack auto scaling. **What problems is MonetDB solving and how is that benefiting you?** It solves our data warehousing problem and helps us in cross data analysis and run statistical analytics on our IoT sensor data for research. It is also cost effective solution compared to others and also helps in avoiding time consuming tasks for moving data for analysis as it allows natively run python scripts with connector. ### 2. Our company is open 24/7 and we are always using it. It rarely crashes and customer service usually responds quickly. **What do you dislike about MonetDB?** Every once in a while it will crash, but again customer service is quick to respond.
