What do you like best about monday CRM?

The simplicity of its use and the fast onboarding for team members without much need for training. The interface is very sleek and self-explaining and also pleasant to work with.

We also like the constant updates and new features that come along.

What do you dislike about monday CRM?

The pricing range jump from 50 to 100 users.

So if you got 60 potential users you will pay as much as a customer with 98 users.

Abolish Excel for managing teams and projects.

Abolish to-do lists to organize yourself.

Create a mini CRM on the fly without any intervention of programmers, administrators, or the IT department.

Have all data in one place.

Reply to customers/teams/suppliers faster in an automated way.

What problems is monday CRM solving and how is that benefiting you?

We have been using it since the Covid lockdown in March 2020 when we needed to manage the team in their home offices remotely. Since then we had no problems.

We have eliminated much paper, Excel lists, and similar becoming in our coordination more efficient and direct. Approval processes have become leaner and users get their answers faster. Even if the manager is on the road, with the mobile app, approval can also be done on the fly remotely.

Little by little given its minimal UI users become more curious and build and manage their areas better using ever more sophisticated functions within Monday. So in the end, Monday also helps to motivate our teams to become more autonomous and it improves their use of IT tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about monday CRM?

Easy to manage team members virtually across multiple projects all at the same time. Visually easy on the eyes. Automations and integrations eliminate menial tasks. Time tracking for team is helpful and can be viewed in one place. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about monday CRM?

Sales tracking function is poor for pulling stats. Difficult to gather reliable data. Data can only be pulled for specific time frames (and not always the time frames I want.) Language in 'filters' is sometimes challenging to understand. I dislike the 'notifications'. They get lost. It would be nice if there was a chat function. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Versatility and automations! As a private school leader, I have many projects in play and not enough administrative resources to keep track of it all. What do you like best about monday CRM?

Monday.com is super cohesive and has worked straight out of the box for our project management. My experience so far is that everything works as you'd like it to. With other software, I can usually get it to work but in my head I know I'd prefer for it to function differently. What do you like best about monday CRM?

Monday.com stands out in so many areas when compared to other programs that I am familiar with ( Salesforce, Netsuite, MongoDB, Capsule, ZOHO) Picking from the bucket of what I like best isn't all that difficult. What Monday.com offers is a solution to intricate use cases with its completely flexible platform. Monday.com has a grasp on what they do best and offers integration solutions where at first glance they may appear thin. This direction makes for a powerhouse of a workspace solution. I mean I don't even know what to call Monday anymore other than our " One Stop Shop" after building out our companies workflow, It handles our Sales Pipeline, Customer as resources, Document organization, Internal Communications, plus allowing ease of use for entering over 300 data points with dropdown statuses, Custom Formulas, and user-tailored views. Its become our mothership, Tieing a plethora of Sass programs into a central, auditable location.

There is no way for me to answer this question without giving insight into their marvelous customer service. The cadence and attitude they present you with upon asking even the most time-intensive questions is exhilarating! This team is on fire and has been a driving force in developing such an incredible system for us. They bring a new standard to customer service that I just do not find outside of the diligent team at Monday.com

What do you dislike about monday CRM?

Here is the skinny... You can not grow as much as Monday.com has without having a few pain points. Granted we are not a typical use case and I feel that our shortlist continues to shrink as the Monday.com community grows. To show some more credibility here I am going to be upfront, here are the big two of that shortlist.

1. The API V2 is young and still lacking a few key endpoints for our flow. I have faith in the direction they are taking V2 and just recently the top 2-3 items were just added. Would I have loved to have those features at the beginning of our build...Absolutely, am I just as happy to have them now...Yes! If you have even close to a standard CRM use case go ahead and throw this concern out, you will be in good hands.

2. "A horizontal look on life" - If you have taken the first look into Monday.com you probably noticed that most views of your data are horizontal. There are plenty of tools in place to expand and narrow your field of view but not so much in terms of a more vertical data entry approach. Some of our "Boards" contain a large number of columns which causes some unwelcome scrolling by certain users. With the new release of the "Apps Marketplace", I can see a solution for this on the horizon.

I highly recommend becoming apart of the Monday.com Community, I am learning daily from other users that continue to shorten this list. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering monday CRM:

First and foremost, take a deep dive into the Monday.com community. This has been my Bible for our build and is a great resource for expanding Ideas and learn from others' mistakes. It's very well monitored and you will definitely find some goodies in there.

If you have some other programs that you want deeply tied into your system, look into Integromat.com as a possible solution. The community of no code API usage is pretty strong and the Monday.com modules in Integromat are kept up to date. Marrying these two has opened the door to so so many possibilities.

Hang on, Monday.com is going to take you for a ride. It seems like each week there is something new! They are very transparent about their changelog, and to date, all changes and add- ons have had no negative effect on our workflow. Keep an eye out for things to come.

Webinar, after webinar! Join them all. They are honest, fun, and constant. Every user that I have pointed to the webinars has come back with a better outlook on Monday.com and a new snippet to share. I in fact am due for a check-in even though I consider myself an experienced user. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is monday CRM solving and how is that benefiting you?

The Insurance adjusting Industry has a few industry-specific programs that tend to be outdated, unflexible, and honestly a little boring. Monday.com has allowed us to expand outside of those typical programs and increase our user's experience. In every key aspect that "off the shelf solutions" offer, our team's needs have been exceeded with Monday.com. Instead of trapping ourselves in the past, we are now carving a clear path out and into the world of technology. We have transformed the way our remote teams work, from a more individual approach to a team (pod) approach. Without the communication and transparency tools that monday.com supplies we would not be able to make this transition and in turn expand our workload 2-3X. As a CTO, keeping track of our user's experience is key. The pain points caused by an unflexible CRM cause for offsite solutions muddying the " One Stop Shop" feel. With Monday.com integrations, automation, and API V2, when a user unveils a pain point I have the comfort of knowing there is going to be a solution without looking too far.

Depending on how you build you can obviously take different approaches. Before Monday.com transparency for both upper and lower levels was a complete disaster. Monday.com has broken down walls and let the light shine through. Not in the way that an end-user is blasted with too much to stay on top of things, but tailored to their needs.

Another insight into problem-solving with Monday.com is for project management with external sources and cotractors. Monday.com nailed the ability to share "boards" with others ( external) to stay on top of things. Whether that be a custom " update me form" to full-blown Gaant boards you can easily give and get without going offsite. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
