Not a fan of all of the notifications it sends out but after getting more familiar with the platform, I was able to build rules in my Outlook instance to organize where I needed things to go in order to manage all of the emails. Then I discovered where to set my email preferences in Monday.com. I also am not a fan of how I have a particular view in Monday and the email notifications default to a different view whenever I click on the CTA in the emails. Monday.com is a great project management software tool. We use it to manage a variety of projects, from marketing strategy to social media calendars, copywriting, email automation and full website design and development. My only real dislikes are the inability for shared users to reorder their boards (can get messy quickly if you're subscribed to more than a few) and the fact that "folders" are essentially invisible when trying to automate or visualize/track projects. For example, to see total tracked time for all users who are working on any social media calendars, each calendar has to be added to the report rather than automatically selecting all boards within the social media folder. I appreciate the design interface in the dashboard of monday Work Management as it is incredibly user-friendly and easy to navigate. You can't turn off notifications in the inbox for outgoing emails sent using automations on boards you're on, even if they are only relevant to another team member. Because of this, I get a couple thousand items in my inbox each week. You are able to sort by things you're tagged in directly, but I sometimes miss important updates because they get lost in those email notifications. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Monday keeps me on track day-to-day. Everyone now has accountability and the complete resources to tackle all tasks assigned. Sharing files is also a great asset to the app. Any remote workers can easily pick up where they left off from their office and home. Our Communication Coordinators and Directors now have the ability to search for tasks and view the time it takes to complete those tasks. They are also able to show an overall task list to upper management when scheduling and planning future events. Sub-tasks still appear hidden and is easily overlooked. Can no longer find dashboard easily. Wish there was a generic Generate Report Button. If there already is one, I haven't located it yet. Creating forms is not as user-friendly and isn't fluid (as it has to match the columns within the task). Expanding the number of filters within the dashboard features may help. The app doesn't seem to update tasks as quickly on an ipad 11 Pro 2021. It takes some time to refresh causing me to turn to my iPhone 11 for quicker referencing during weekely meetings. It can be a bit difficult to navigate at times, especially when building a new board or experimenting with automations. My team has also had issues with notifications not functioning the way we intended. I recently attempted to utilize some of the new AI features to generate competitive reporting, but I was disappointed by the accuracy of the information it provided when compared to my manual research. I really like the Status bar and how it is endlessly customizable. I also appreciate how you can link workspaces with apps in the monday marketplace, basically tailoring your monday to suit your needs down to the smallest detail. I wish there was a clone feature, so one workspace's board could be cloned onto another workspace with live updates, but each is only visible in its respective workspace. There are apps that do this, but I'd prefer it as a native feature. The initial setup was a bit challenging since we weren't sure how to configure it for our business. I wish that inputting things within the columns was a little easier. Sometimes When I am flipping through statuses, my browser cuts them off and I am unable to scroll. Also, the same thing can happen when uploading assets (such as images and videos) into the columns; it can be glitchy and a little un-user-friendly. The company I am at recently pivoted from using Frame.io, a tool for reviewing video assets, and I wish Monday had a similar markup system.
