What I like best about monday Work Management is how simple and easy it is to organise everything in one place. You can quickly turn your to-do list into tasks and manage them by date, team members, time, and so much more. It’s an incredibly helpful tool that keeps your thoughts organised without feeling overwhelming. The platform is intuitive, user-friendly, and makes staying on top of work much easier.

**What do you dislike about monday Work Management?**

One thing I dislike about monday Work Management is how subtasks are handled within groups. When you create a group and add tasks with subtasks, the subtask columns don’t automatically match the main task columns, so you have to manually re-add details like people, time, and dates again. It can become repetitive and time-consuming. Another downside is that once a subtask is completed, it can’t easily be moved into another group or a dedicated “completed” board because it remains tied to the parent task structure.

I like the ability to set groups, to set tabs, and to favorite certain boards in monday Work Management. Setting groups for certain programs and people, as well as events, helps us stay organized and find exactly what we need without looking through lots of other employees' tasks.

**What do you dislike about monday Work Management?**

Initially, it was a little frustrating to get everything set up. Different boards, the different people, the different tasks. It took a little while to get accustomed to how you enter the data, how it's captured, how you can access it, how you set up your boards, and how you organize them and find them.

**What problems is monday Work Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use monday Work Management to stay organized. It helps me track all the tasks that need to be completed and the time and duration for each task.

**What do you like best about monday Work Management?**

Monday.com has a great program for nonprofits. It allows us to have real-time access and updates to information, projects, etc. It was easy to set up and learn. We use it daily and have found a ton of ways to use it to our organization's benefit. There are great integrations that are easy to set up and use. Their customer service and support is top-notch! We continue to find new ways to use it to support our organization.

**What do you dislike about monday Work Management?**

There is no downside to Monday.com that we've found. We've been excited and happy with it and all the features they continue to roll out.

**What problems is monday Work Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has helped us to have access to real-time updates about work within the organization. It has given us a great way to do expense requests and approvals, report submissions, HR requests, On- and off-boarding, grant management, quarterly employee reviews, and more! It is all within the nonprofit account, which decreases our overhead. We work internationally with teams on the other side of the globe and this allows us to all access data points in real-time.

I use Monday in many ways and currently have been building dashboards for a business I support to rollout compliance related reporting. The product's use of ai is exceptionally good and expanding all the time.  I am looking forward to 
exploring more of the ai side of Monday

My position on this is the same, I truly believe seeing Monday for what it could be and not just replacing a like for like means you can be innovative on how you use different areas of software and make it suit your business needs.

**What do you like best about monday Work Management?**

I like being able to load up the 'my work' section and seeing all tasks that I have assigned to me regardless of what project that they are in.  I can also choose the columns and order that works best for me in that overall view.

**What do you dislike about monday Work Management?**

When building automations, the date setting options for items are not intuitive.   e.g. wanting to setup regular occurring task where the due date is 4 days from the creation date.   There is no option for +4 days.  If you pick a date, it's a fixed date.   If you try to setup a recurring task for every other Friday, there is nothing in the UI to choose the start date, so upon creating it, it's not clear if it will start the next Friday or 2 Fridays from the date you make it.   I've found some workarounds by making 'groups' that when tasks are moved to it, it will set a date.

It is helping me to see the overall landscape of tasks that need to be done and allowing me to prioritize or seek assistance/delegate tasks that would struggle based on which ones that require my attention.

I also like the clean interface and automation features because they save time and reduce manual follow-ups. What I dislike about monday Work Management is that it can feel a bit overwhelming at first because there are so many features and customization options. Some of the more advanced setup steps take time to learn, and certain things are not as intuitive as the basic tasks. At times, it can also feel slightly expensive for smaller teams, especially if you need access to more advanced features.

The platform’s ease of use allows me to organize tasks and projects efficiently, while also being visually appealing. The consolidation of information is not only a great advantage, but it also enables you to create documents, workflows, gain full visibility of board elements, and access information clearly through graphs.

**What do you dislike about monday Work Management?**

I think the limited interaction between boards is a drawback, and sometimes board loading can be very slow. For very complex boards, you usually have to split the information across multiple boards, but there isn’t really a way to consolidate everything objectively into a single one. It still feels quite manual, even though it already includes some automations.

It improves the efficiency and effectiveness of projects. In a way, it serves as a visual support system for everything I need to do. It’s like having an agenda and a planning tool at the same time. Once I add something to my Monday boards, there’s no way it slips off my radar. I also feel it helps me present information more professionally and quickly, and it reduces the time I spend reporting on project updates.

**What do you like best about monday Work Management?**

It was very easy to get started and explore the many different features. I really like the automations, which help eliminate mundane tasks and make day-to-day work feel a lot smoother. It was very easy to implement into our daily ordering requirements. Since switching to Monday we use it everyday for tracking orders and it was very easy to integrate with our existing processes and if we needed any help their customer service was there to help.

**What do you dislike about monday Work Management?**

I wish my colleagues could leave comments in Monday without having to pay for extra seats. I wish the number of seats you had to purchase were more flexible.

**What problems is monday Work Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tracking orders! We place over 700 orders for materials and supplies for our Trade school and we use it to get orders approved and to track them from the time its submitted to the time it arrives. It has eliminated the need to walk around a request form to start the ordering process.

I find the interface of monday Work Management to be user-friendly, intuitive, and easy to use with a short learning curve. It keeps all information centralized with useful UI options, making information easy to access and digest. This is especially helpful for colleagues with different tenure to understand the same message. The filter and search functions make organization quite easy. The product also offers better visibility, ease of use, a better multi-user experience, and functionalities tailored to my needs.

I feel it is a bit hard to link it to other external platforms, such as Google Sheets and Excel. I would like to see live links to Google Sheets and easier to access options to extract information into Excel.

**What do you like best about monday Work Management?**

I really like how easy and intuitive the user interface of monday Work Management is to work with. Anyone learning it can quickly get the hang of it without any issues, unlike our previous experience with other products, such as Asana, where the interface was confusing. I also appreciated how seamless and fluid the setup was, especially compared to our attempts with Asana. The importing process from our Excel databases was very understandable and easy to set up. I'm also grateful for the switch to monday Work Management, as it was an instant success for our team.

I wish there was a way within monday Work Management to have editable files. You know, you could upload a DOC, and it turns it into a document that can be a working document, where we can have information and procedures and the edit way that's easier than the current format.

Monday Work Management solves disorganization by keeping all information in one place, accessible to the entire team. It allows archiving for future reference and helps us track current projects, do surveys for customers and clients, and collaborate effortlessly.

**What do you like best about monday Work Management?**

I like the fact that all teams can collaborate on a single platform with Monday Work Management. It allows our clients to see what's happening, which is really important. It's also great that it's connected to our email, and we can automate tasks, which makes things much easier for the full team. I appreciate the transparency it provides for everyone to see where projects are and to comment on things, which is super helpful. Plus, it's a great organizing tool, especially for meetings and project prioritization.  We use it for a wide variety of projects - from creative work, to meeting management and editorial calendar/campaign management.

**What do you dislike about monday Work Management?**

It feels like every time there's a new feature, it comes at an additional cost. Also, sometimes, automation does not work very well. The team that supports our organization has been really good in helping us troubleshoot, but sometimes feels a little bit more cumbersome than what I think it should be.

**What problems is monday Work Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Monday Work Management to track and manage ALL projects with my team. It provides full transparency on projects, enables collaboration on a single platform, lets clients see progress, connects to our email, and automates tasks. It's also great for organizing meetings and prioritization.  In two words - SIMPLICITY and TRANSPARENCY. I also think that, for the basic features, it is a relatively easy platform to learn.

It is easy keep simple tasks organized, helps keep everything together in one place, and is highly customizable. I like the variety of column types that can be added, the tagging systems, and the status button.

**What do you dislike about monday Work Management?**

I feel like the automations in the vanilla system don't take us as far as we need. The board linking system is not as intuitive as I wish. I often wish that it was easier to mirror columns and have updates appear in multiple places so they can be viewed on different boards. Sometimes, if we link a task to another board, not everything attached to the item appears on the different boards. It is frustrating that we have to pay for add-ons to have it work to its full potential.

Monday is our single source of truth for our open tasks, where we keep all internal communications and link documents that are needed for the tasks. It keeps us from needing to search in multiple places for information relating to a task.

I like how intuitive the monday Work Management platform is, making it easy for anyone in the business to easily understand the documented information. I really appreciate the implementation of artificial intelligence and all the available options to optimize the current administrative processes of the business. Additionally, being able to have dashboards, reminders, and tools that facilitate daily activities, avoiding rework in independent files or external platforms, is very useful. Having all the information in one place fosters collaboration among team members and with clients.

**What do you dislike about monday Work Management?**

I consider that one of the main limitations are the reflection and formula columns, as in many cases they can become a stopper for certain boards, filters, or dashboards that require a more dynamic visualization and management of information.

I use Monday Work Management to document projects and analyze the pipeline. It gives me visibility of income and workloads, optimizes processes, centralizes information, and facilitates internal collaboration and with clients, avoiding rework on external platforms.

Monday is highly customizable and fits our needs well, since we can create different boards, categories, and more to organize our work the way we want.

**What do you dislike about monday Work Management?**

There are a few automations that aren’t available yet, but I’m confident they’ll be added over time. Also, product integrations and overall connectivity could be better—for example, with Google Calendar. It would be much more useful if, after connecting the calendar, you could add notes that sync back into Monday directly, rather than only having a link.

Monday helps us keep track of all our clients and the many tasks that need to get done. It’s especially useful for coordinating with other team members, since we can assign specific tasks and clearly see who’s responsible for what.

I like how monday Work Management is like a ball of clay that can be molded into whatever our team needs. It's specialized for a specific industry, which allows our industry, touring music merchandise, to shape it to be what we need. It also allows employees, whether full-time or not, to work within a system that benefits the greater team. I appreciate that it lets the team add information, build, and specialize for every single department, so everything can be homogenized into one place in Monday using different styles of boards and structures that suit all members.

I would say that it could have a bit more artificial intelligence. Maybe it could be a little bit smarter and be thinking of the next thing, or it could offer suggestions for what could be best.

I like that monday Work Management helps keep me organized, which is crucial given my busy schedule throughout the day and month. It's easy to use and helps me know what location I need to be in next, what travel I need to book, and what clients I need to see. I appreciate that the interface is available on both computer and mobile. As I'm traveling in and out of cities and airports, it's helpful to be able to access monday Work Management using my cell phone or iPad. I like all the options it has for the columns. I love that it has a bunch of templates and tutorials for using most of everything. It's very adaptable and it has a variety of different options. Since everything is more organized and specific for our workflow, it helps having the answers right there and notes. We were using a bunch of Excel sheets for a list of clients to call for renewals, but now we use monday Work Management and can have every note or status change with one click, whereas before it was very manual. The initial setup was smooth since we weren't converting from another software.

I don't like that the automation costs extra for a certain amount since it's not easy to control how much you are going to be using or not, and I also would prefer to have an option for reminders.

Everything can be input one time in one central place, and then individuals tagged as they need to be in the loop.

Can’t even think of a dislike! It meets every need I have and beyond! I know there are features that I haven't even begun to use yet; it's just taking the time to see what else it could be doing for me!

As a project manager and account manager, it cuts down on the amount of times I have to duplicate and send info to various employees. I can enter it all in one place that everyone has access to, that's organized, user-friendly, and streamlined for efficiency. 

It helps me tag individual employees for specific tasks, sending them an alert with the details and due date for the task. This cuts down on the time I have to spend, as well as leaves a very transparent communication for accountability. 

Also keeps any communication whether it be feedback, questions, etc in one easy, accessible and organized spot rather than digging through multiple email threads with different subject lines.

This is unfortunate for small teams, since they don’t need five seats. It would be great if monday offered a small business plan. I do freelance work on the side and would love to utilize monday, but as a team of one, paying for three seats per product just isn’t reasonable.

Prior to monday Work Management, we struggled with chaos from using spreadsheets and chat conversations to manage customer orders. Now, the interactive boards help us tie everything together with a strong paper trail, enabling efficient and quick communication across the business. I really like its flexibility; it doesn't force a specific approach on us, acting as a blank sheet where we can create and continuously update systems as needed. The notifications and automation features are valuable tools that I use frequently. The setup was also easy, thanks to my colleague who got us up and running quickly. monday Work Management has grown with us from when we were a small 5-person team to now, with 13 staff. What I like most about monday Work Management is how easy it makes it to see the work at a glance. I can open a board and, within a few seconds, understand what’s in progress, what’s waiting on the client, and what’s late. The status labels, owners, and due dates are very clear, so there’s less guessing and fewer “who has this?” messages in Slack or email.

I also appreciate how visual and flexible it is. We use it for creative and marketing projects, but the same tool works just as well for production, planning, and even small internal tasks. It also helps us prioritize more effectively. When I open monday, I can quickly see what’s due today, what’s urgent, and what’s blocked by the client, which makes planning my day and the week ahead much easier.

For the team, the biggest benefit is having a shared view of the work. Creatives, account managers, and leads are all looking at the same boards, so there’s less miscommunication and fewer things slipping through the cracks. Overall, it saves us time, cuts down on follow-ups, and helps us deliver campaigns and assets in a more organized way.

I like the ease of organizing projects by categories and including important information for all areas of the company. The interface is very user-friendly, anyone can intuitively see the processes easily and quickly. I can visualize the project statuses by colors, such as whether they are completed, waiting for information/actions, or have already been billed, which allows me to automatically know if the project is in the completed category. This simplifies my billing process, as I don't need to check random information all the time. Additionally, the feedback from my colleagues about the system is also very positive, everyone really likes the interface.

**What do you dislike about monday Work Management?**

When I need to issue a report, I receive some information that I need to edit the way it is compiled. For example, when I issue a report with the completed projects, in the client name field, I see the client's name plus the link to my company, this information is not necessary. In the project link field, I want only the project name, but I also have a link that I don't see the need for.

**What problems is monday Work Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Monday Work Management allows me to clearly see and organize all the client's project processes from end to end. I can easily visualize the status of the projects by color and manage billing without constantly checking random information.

I really like monday Work Management because they've constantly updated it. I've used it in the past for a previous job, and I thought it would work well for my current position. I really enjoy the ease of use despite its many different components. I appreciate that it's always pushing the boundaries of improvement and giving us more options on how to use the platform. Additionally, I like the social media-like aspect where you can see who's viewed posts and access all information in one place, which is super helpful for team communication. It also has options for showing data over time, which is something we work a lot with, and I find that really useful.

**What do you dislike about monday Work Management?**

I find that a lot of times, I can't necessarily find what I'm looking for in the tutorials when I need an answer on how to do something. Automation, in particular, is a powerful tool, but it's not easy to navigate. It would be really helpful if it were a little bit more easier to navigate. Also, some of my teammates find it harder to navigate Monday Work Management. It doesn't come naturally to them, and considering it's a bit more high-tech, it's a struggle for them.

Collaborative workspaces are fantastic. The interface is very easy to use and set up. Users grasp it in less than an hour, the dashboard is very similar to an email client, allowing you to review tasks. I like that I can easily assign tasks to my team and also track work progress, as each person leaves comments upon completion.

I’m truly pleased with monday and the value and clarity of its management system.  The interface is clean, intuitive, and easy to set up, allowing us to create highly impactful well-organized boards and simple workflows with barely a learning curve; making it simple for new users to get started immediately, as I add them.  Whether task assignment, status tracking, updates, or essential collaboration tools, monday provides exactly what we need to stay aligned and productive.  While many platforms reserve their best usability for higher-cost plans, monday stands out by offering a solid, thoughtfully designed foundation that supports efficient team organization and clear workflow management, even at the lower pricing tiers.

**What do you dislike about monday Work Management?**

Our (apparent) inability to connect directly with a live sales entity to discuss upgrade options and have our upgrade related questions answered in real time.

**What problems is monday Work Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are a small instructional design house.  Before monday, with our dozens of builds, projects, and partner clients running simultaneously, it was very difficult to easily see who was doing what, what was being hindered, and what critical tasks were slipping.  Worse, managing content reviews, approvals, deadlines, and SME handoffs was messy with email threads and scattered course content and documents.  Moreover, every designer works a little differently, which was leading to inconsistent processes, delays, and quality variance.  Monday has allowed us to facilely encode proprietary workflows and to standardize our intake, storyboarding, course building, QA and review steps, ensuring every project follows the same proven sequence.  Monday has also helped us streamline and track our content creation progress.  We can now link directly to all associated files, drafts, and revisions within our work item updates.

**What do you like best about monday Work Management?**

I use monday Work Management for project and task management, both for groups and just myself. It helps with time management by sending reminders and notifications for due tasks. I find its visual organization very helpful, especially the groupings of tasks. Bringing other people into certain tasks through assignment or tagging is incredibly helpful. The new AI tools are pretty nifty too. What stands out to me is how intuitive it is; everything basically makes sense right away once you look at it. monday's roles and permissions are fantastic because they let me involve collaborators in specific tasks without overwhelming them with unnecessary project details. The initial setup was very easy, as the admin console and capabilities are intuitive and easy to pick up.

**What do you dislike about monday Work Management?**

I know the AI tools are new, but off the bat it was unclear to me what some of the differences were between 'Vibe', 'Sidekick', etc. There seemed to be an initial 'dump' of AI tools. Sometimes it would point me to help links from monday's knowledge base that ended up not being related to the issue I was having. It's a little expensive per user.

I use monday Work Management as a project and operations tracking tool. I like its balance between flexibility and usability. One of its biggest strengths is its visual interface, which makes it easy to build boards, track progress, and customize workflows without needing deep technical knowledge. Features like automations and integrations help reduce manual work, especially when managing repetitive tasks and coordinating across multiple systems. From a usability standpoint, I'd rate it around a seven out of 10. While the interface is intuitive for basic functions, more advanced configurations can take time to fully understand. However, once complex workflows and dashboards are established, they run efficiently. The program makes it easier to track my progress on projects across the board.

The learning curve is a bit steep, especially for advanced features. It can get complex at scale, which makes it harder to manage highly technical workflows. Also, setting it up wasn't that easy; we had to hire people to help us get it up and running.
